Last time on Deity: We learned about two new characters: Hidashi and Skye.

Chapter 17- Pact

It was two days before Lilly's memories would be wiped clean again and her powers would be sealed away. Skye was leaving tomorrow for her Aunt's home. Naturally, Lilly, Skye and Hidashi were having a party to celebrate their time together, and to say their final goodbyes. After midnight they quieted down for Agatha.

"I'm going to miss you guys," Skye stated.

"I'm going to miss you too!" Lilly said.

"It's not going to be the same without you Skye," Hidashi added.

"I know! Let's make a pact. That no matter where we go in life, we'll always be there for each other. Also, that if anything happens, we'll come to the other's aide and be there for them and help them," Skye said.

"Of course!" Lilly exclaimed.

"No question," Hidashi said. Skye pulled out a knife.

"Let's seal the deal," Skye said.

"Isn't that a bit drastic Skye?" Hidashi asked.

"Why? A pact sealed in blood has more meaning to it, and then we'll be connected forever," Skye replied.

Hidashi and Lilly exchanged nervous glances, but finally agreed to it. They each sliced their right hand and then held each other's hands. As soon as their blood mixed, the seal on Lilly broke. Her eyes glowed different colors and a powerful wind came out of her blowing them back. Hidashi and Skye watched in shock. Agatha ran into the room, holding Lilly's head and sealing her once again. Due to the force that Agatha had used to seal away Lilly's mutant abilities, Lilly fell to the ground unconcious and did not wake up for another two days. When she did, she had no recollection of who she was, and Hidashi introduced himself to her once again. It was another three years. It was a little more than a week before Agatha would seal everything away again.

With Skye gone, and at her Aunt's house, Hidashi and Lilly grew closer. They spent all their time together. It had been nice and peaceful for those last three years, but things were about to take a turn none of them expected, and none of them wanted.

It was the middle of the night when he came. Everyone was sleeping peacefully. Someone crashed through Lilly's bedroom window, waking her up, scaring her. She couldn't see who this person was because he was shrouded in dark shadows that circled and swirled around him.

"I have finally found you," the man said with a deep voice.

"Who are you? What do you want with me?" Lilly asked.

The door busted open and Hidashi came in.

"Lilly! Get away from her!" Hidashi shouted.

The man sent his shadows out towards Hidashi, shoving him out of the room and closing the door behind him. Then he wrapped his shadows around Lilly who screamed out of terror. The door busted open and Hidashi in gargoyle form broke through the door, Agatha close behind him.

"Monster, how did you find her?" Agatha asked the man.

"It took me awhile. I didn't even get a blip until her powers took form again, and then I still had to do some hunting to find her. But now that I have, I'm not letting her go," the man answered. He used his shadows to pull Lilly to him, who struggled to get free. She looked up at Hidashi, tears in her eyes, and that made Hidashi lose any self control he had. Hidashi charged at the man and fought off the shadows, tearing Lilly away from him. Lilly looked on at their fight, each not giving in. The room was being torn to shreds. Lilly felt Agatha put her hands up to her head and then everything went black. When she woke up, she was in New York, with the foster family that she had come to know over the next three years. When she woke up there she had no recollection over the past 14 years of her life. She grew up happily though, until the seal broke after those three years, and her mutant powers manifested.

"Professor, I don't know why, but I miss them. But I don't know them, or I guess I do?"

"I know it's all a little confusing. I don't completely understand it myself. What I do understand is where you got your powers, why, and I think I know how to help you now. Would you be willing to come out of this world and into the real world?" Xavier questioned.

"Yes, but is it okay if I stay in my room? I don't really feel comfortable being around people yet," Lilly asked.

"Of course. I'll come in everyday and we'll work together on mastering your abilities."

Lilly and Xavier both became concious again, in the real world.
