Edward POV

I was a nervous wreck. I was so worried about Bella. Once I found out Aro had kidnapped her and handed her over to that sick fuck James I was outraged. That bastard James was going to die and Aro was going with him. My mom, Alice, and I were currently staying in a hotel in Phoenix, Arizona.

I missed Bella even though I've only known her for a short period of time. I found out that I've fallen in love with her. I didn't intend to but I guess it was love at first sight. It made me smile at the thought of it.

Alice was on her lap top looking through files. Aro was going to pay for this and I was going to make sure of it. My mom was out shopping for supplies for when Carlisle hopefully returned with Bella. Alice looked at me.

"Do you think Aro would want Bella dead?" The question struck a nerve.

"Alice why the hell would you ask something like that? Think god damn positive. I will never let anything happen to Bella! If Aro thinks he can kill Bella well he got another thing common." I was seething in anger.

"Well from the looks of things, he bargained a price of about 45 billion dollars for whoever could kill Bella first." I roared in anger. I was seeing red.

I punched the wall in leaving a huge hole.

"Edward you are going to pay for that." Alice went back to her lap top.

"I swear I'm going to kill him." I was fuming. I needed to cool off so I decided to go to the gym on the first floor. It actually helped.

By the time I got back upstairs, I heard my mom cursing in Italian. She was definitely pissed.

"Chi diavolo ha messo tutto questo nel muro. Alice era lei? Si Non che vecchio per me sei così sono in grado di mettere ancora sul mio ginocchio." (Who in the hell put this whole in the wall. Alice was it you? You're Not that old for me so I'm able to still put you over my knee.)

"Ma la mamma non sono stato io, Edward ha fatto. Ha deciso di prendere la sua frustrazione e la rabbia sulla parete in modo che è quello che dovrebbe essere urlando contro, non me." (But mom it wasn't me, Edward did it. He decided to take his frustration and anger out on the wall so he is the one you should be yelling at not me.)

At the sound of that, I turned running down the hallway. I heard my mom yelling for me to come back but I couldn't face her. She looked really mad and I was scared right now. As soon as the elevator chimed I was about to get in when I came to a stop. In the elevator staring back at me was my father and Bella.

I let out a breathe of relief. She stepped off and I grabbed her pulling her into my arms. Bella fit perfectly in my arms and it made me smile a little. I heard angry footsteps leading towards us. I knew it was Esme but those footsteps made Bella go stiff.

"It's just my mom Bella. Don't worry about it." Those footsteps soon stopped and we were met with silence.

"Oh, how are you dear?" My mom gave Bella a soft smile while glaring at me from the corner of her eye. I felt a shiver go down my spine. My mom was really frightening when she wanted to be.

"Um, I'm fine thank you." I noticed a tint of red on Bella's cheeks. Her blush was really cute.

"How about we take you to our hotel room? You look like you could use some sleep." My mom was a really caring person.

We walked Bella into the room and she immediately walked towards the bed. She laid down and pretty much went to sleep as soon as her head hit the pillow. A bunch of thoughts were running through my head as I was watching her sleep. How could Aro ever want to hurt her? I guess it was my fault.

"Edward what's wrong?" Alice asked me as she placed a hand on my shoulder.

"This is all my fault. I'm attracted to her and don't know how to leave her alone. She doesn't deserve this at all." I felt my emotions start to take over. Tears pooled my eyes. I refused to let them fall.

"Edward, son, you didn't do anything. Aro is just a power craving, money hungry bastard. I'm sorry I didn't realize it sooner. We had so much history together. I didn't want to let that go."

I shook my head in defiance and rushed out the room. There was too many emotions running through my head and I couldn't process it. I needed time to clear my head. I exited the hotel and took a walk down the street. The hot air seemed comforting as I breathed it in.

I looked around at my surroundings. This place was beautiful but I couldn't stop myself from thinking of Bella. She was beyond beautiful. I can't explain it. I ran my hands through my hair in frustration. I tend to do that a lot lately.

Without realizing it, it became dark outside. I decided to make my way back to the hotel. When I got there, I saw that my father and Alice had left to meet up with someone. My mother was in the shower and Bella was sitting on the bed watching TV.

The sight made me smile. She looked like an angel right then and my heart soared. Bella turned to me and smiled.

"I was looking for you." I almost felt guilty.

"I decided to go for a walk. It was no big deal. I just needed to clear my head." I hope she didn't ask any questions because that was the last thing I needed.

"Oh… okay." She sounded unsure but kept silent and faced the TV.

I sat down on the chair on the side of the bed and looked at the TV. I didn't have no idea what was on but I didn't care. I blocked out the sounds of the TV and faced Bella. Just watching her I knew that I was going to do anything in my power to protect her. Nobody was going to hurt her and I meant it. I felt my anger building up but I decided to control it.

Bella must have sensed my stare because she turned to me. I was instantly lost in those brown eyes. She was so innocent and it hurt my heart that she was the main target in this situation. Bella scooted over to me and continued to stare at me.

"Edward, why are you doing this?" The question startled me.

"Uh… what do you… mean Bella?" Bella had gotten up and began to pace the room.

"Why do you care so much!? I mean I am forever grateful for you concern but you barely know me." I let out an aggravated sigh.

"I know that but I'm attracted to you Bella. I can't help my feelings alright. ARE YOU HAPPY NOW!?" When I saw the startled and hurt look on Bella's face, I instantly regretted taking my anger out on her.

I got up and went over to her. She jumped slightly and it pierced my heart. I wrapped my arms around Bella and buried my nose in her hair. Her hair smelled so good. I felt something wet on my shirt and I realized Bella was crying. It hurt so much that I was the reason for her tears.

I pulled back from her and looked into her eyes. Tears fell down her cheeks and I hastily brushed them away with my thumb. Before I knew it my lips were on hers. I couldn't help myself from attacking her lips. My tongue tangled with hers and it was absolute heaven.

We were interrupted by a loud squeal in the room. I turned and saw my mother jumping up and down in her fluffy white robe. I rolled my eyes at her foolishness. I turned my eyes back to Bella and saw her staring at me again. A smile was on her face and it made my insides tingle.

I pressed Bella against my chest and enjoyed the feeling.
