The news that he had just received had hit Gibbs like a ton of bricks. The results of the paternity test had confirmed his secret fear. DiNozzo Senior really was Tony's father. Gibbs had gotten Senior's DNA from the toothbrush he had used when he stayed with Gibbs the last time he was accused of murder. In an instant Gibbs's hopes were shattered. He had wanted to be Tony's father and Sadie's grandfather. It was too late to give Tony the childhood he deserved but he could spend the rest of his life making it up to Tony and helping him give Sade the childhood Tony wished that he had.

"What's wrong Boss?" McGee asked.

"I got some test results from the hospital." Gibbs replied.

"Is Tony OK?" McGee asked.

"He's fine." Gibbs assured.

"So what's wrong?" McGee questioned.

"When Tony was first diagnosed with mono. He started to have trouble breathing. So I rushed him to the hospital. Turns out he had been diagnosed with asthma at his last visit to Dr. Pitt. He is OK and has been cleared to continue field work. So don't worry about that. Anyway they ran some blood-work and first thought he had leukemia. So when he was getting the spinal biopsy. I went ahead and got tested to be a bone-marrow donor. When the results came in Tony just had mono but my blood-work showed that I was an almost perfect match for Tony. Meaning that I could be his father. Because Tony was sick and the hospital typically draws blood. We decided to wait until Tony got better but all this drama with Senior. I decided to get the tests done yesterday and I just got the results. Senior is definitely Tony's father. I guess we are related somehow though." Gibbs explained.

"I am sorry Boss." McGee apologized.

"That's too bad I was hoping that you would be Tony's father. He needs a guy like you to be his dad and you need him to be your son." Breena said.

"Huh?" Sadie asked.

"I'll explain when you are older." Gibbs replied.

"OK" Sadie replied.

Breena and Sadie were both rushed to the hospital. McGee rode in the ambulance with Sadie. Because Gibbs had to stay back and speak to the LEO's about the abductions of Sadie and Breena and the shooting of Senior. McGee had called Jimmy real quick while Breena and Sadie were being checked out by the paramedics. Jimmy was too upset to drive when he heard what had happened to his wife. So he caught a ride with Abby and Ducky. Bishop sent her best but she had a meeting with director Vance about something. Jimmy clenched his jaw and stared out the windshield as Ducky drove. He could not believe that his wife had been rushed to the hospital for the second times in two days. Because of the same man. McGee hadn't said exactly what had happened to her but he got an idea from the tome in his voice. Jimmy wished that Gibbs had left some of that bastard for him. Of course he knew that Gibbs was just saving Breena and Sadie from being injured worse or killed by Senior. Jimmy probably would not be able to beat up Senior. He was a real psycho even Gibbs had trouble taking him on in hand to hand combat. Ducky and Jimmy stayed back in the waiting room. While Jimmy didn't waste a second getting to his wife's side.

"Breena?" Jimmy called from the doorway.

"Oh hi Jimmy." Breena replied.

"Are you OK?" Jimmy asked sitting down by his wife's bedside.

"No" Breena admitted.

"Do you want to talk about it?" Jimmy offered.

"I don't think I can." Breena replied.

"Well I am right here if you ever want to." Jimmy assured.

"He didn't he didn't rape me. He wanted to though. If Gibbs and McGee hadn't of showed up when they did. He would have." Breena explained.

"Oh Breena I am so sorry." Jimmy gasped.

"Would you have stayed with me if he had?" Breena asked.

"That would be a horrible time to leave you." Jimmy replied stroking his wife's cheek.

"He said I deserved a real man." Breena admitted.

"Senior was pure shit." Jimmy hissed.

"He was and don't feel bad. You are a real man." Breena assured.

Gibbs held Sadie in his arms while she was checked out by her doctor. He was trying to contain his anger for her sake. The fact that her own grandfather had done this to her. At least he hadn't tried to have his way with her like he had Breena. If he had caught Senior with her in the position that he had caught him in with Breena. He probably would have shot his dick off.

"OK we are done here." The doctor said.

"How is she?" Gibbs asked.

"She is pretty beat up but nothing too serious. Just keep an eye on her over the next couple of days and bring her back in if she seems to be in pain or acting strangely." The doctor explained.

"Of course." Gibbs replied.

"You were a very brave patient." The doctor told Sadie handing her a sucker.

"What do you say?" Gibbs coached.

"Thank you." Sadie replied.

"She's very smart for two." The doctor commented.

"Yes she is." Gibbs agreed.

Gibbs held Sadie's hand as he walked towards Tony's room. He had managed to charm the nurses into allowing him to bring Sadie to see her father. He was hoping that a visit from his little girl would do the trick and pull Tony from his coma.

"Oh hi Gibbs." Jimmy greeted.

"Hi Jimmy. How is Breena?" Gibbs asked.

"OK she has some internal injuries they want to watch over night though." Jimmy explained.

"Oh well I hope she won't have any problems." Gibbs replied.

"Yeah me too but she shouldn't though. How is Sadie by the way?" Jimmy asked.

"Thankfully OK." Gibbs replied.

"Good" Jimmy replied.

"Tell me about it." Gibbs replied.

"Is everything OK?" Jimmy asked.

"I got Tony's and my DNA results and I am not his father. Senior is." Gibbs replied.

"That's all?" Jimmy asked.

"It's kind of a huge deal!" Gibbs snapped.

"Why? DNA has never mattered to you before. You have always considered yourself a father to Tony and Tony a son to you. Neither one of you has ever cared what some piece of paper says. You both are hard-headed and it's your word against anybody else. That's what makes you great agents. I know that you wanted a biological child because you lost Kelly but Tony is your son no matter what." Jimmy explained.

"It's just not the same we aren't family." Gibbs sighed.

"So if Breena and I adopt a kid? It won't count? We won't be a family?" Jimmy asked.

"Of course it will count." Gibbs assured.

"Then why is it any different for you and Tony? Just because Tony is grown and you didn't sign an adoption certificate does not mean that you are not family. You are Tony's dad and Senior well he's a glorified sperm donor." Jimmy explained.

"Thank you kid. I just got so lost in maybe being Tony's real dad. I forgot the meaning of family." Gibbs replied pulling Jimmy into a hug.

"Anytime" Jimmy replied.

McGee set his gear beside his desk and turned on his computer. He was so distracted but the events of the afternoon. That he didn't notice Bishop sitting at her desk with a box beside her on the floor. Until she let out an audible sigh.

"Bishop are you OK?" McGee asked.

"Oh yeah" Bishop replied.

"What's with the box?" McGee asked.

"I am leaving the team." Bishop replied.

"Why?" McGee asked.

"My husband was waiting for me when I got home yesterday. He got a huge promotion at work. It's great. I mean excellent benefits a hugs pay increase. It's everything he ever wanted. Not to mention his new office is less than an hour away from his parents." Bishop explained.

"Yeah so?" McGee asked.

"It's in Arizona. Vance has already referred me to the team out there and my last day is Friday. I hate to leave so soon but Jake and I have tried long distance before and we almost got a divorce. It was really bad." Bishop explained.
