Gibbs watched as Jimmy walked off in the opposite direction. The kid was right he was Tony's dad even if it wasn't by blood. Sometime Gibbs forgot just how wise that kid truly was. He was almost as brilliant as Ducky. Of course he was still young and learning but Gibbs could see him being just like his mentor one day. He had the same thoughts regarding DiNozzo and himself. Actually Tony and Jimmy were almost identical to him and Ducky in their friendship. Walter Magnus had retired a year before he joined NCIS but Gibbs could see him having the same friendship with Mike Franks. Gibbs hoped that Jimmy would be lucky enough to have children with Breena in one way or another. He had seen both of them with Sadie and they were both so amazing. That she had called them Aunt Breena and Uncle Jimmy since day one. He thought about calling after Jimmy to join Sadie and his visit to Tony but Jimmy had already rounded the corner and entered the elevator. On his way to visit Breena a little longer.

"Gibbs!" Sadie called.

"What is it Sadie?" Gibbs asked.

"Can we see daddy yet?" Sadie asked.

"Oh yeah sorry I got distracted." Gibbs replied.

"It's OK" Sadie assured.

"Now before we go in your daddy's room. You have to know it may be a little scary because he has some special machines that are helping him get better but don't worry they don't hurt." Gibbs explained.

"Can I hug him?"Sadie asked.

"Yeah but be careful. He is still sore from his surgery." Gibbs replied.

"Is he up yet?" Sadie asked.

"No but you can talk to him." Gibbs replied.

"OK" Sadie replied.

Gibbs tightened the grip on Sadie's hand as they turned into Tony's room. When they were inside he lifted Sadie on the bed and positioned her where she wouldn't disturb Tony's incision or machines but would still be able to snuggle up close to him. It reminded Gibbs of when he was not much older than her and Jack had been hurt pretty badly in an accident in the store. Back in those days kids under twelve were not allowed in hospitals unless they were patients. So LJ had to sneak him in the hospital. He was too little to remember clearly but according to Jack he was brought in the room in a big box from the last shipment to the store. At least it was easy for Sadie to get in and see her daddy. After all she had been through. She needed that.

"DiNozzo I brought Sadie to see you. So now might be a good time to wake up already." Gibbs whispered.

"Hi daddy I miss you and I don't have a car bed at Vance's house. Gibbs is really sad too." Sadie explained.

"You heard her DiNozzo." Gibbs said.

After a while Vance came to take Sadie. She seemed OK after everything that had happened to her but it was hard to tell with kids that age. His biggest fear was that she would have a nightmare and things would be made worse by the fact that Tony wasn't there to help her. His biggest hope was that in the long run Sadie would have no memory of this ordeal. Half an hour after Sadie left with Leon. The door opened again. This time it was McGee coming to visit his partner and older brother.

"Oh Boss I didn't think you'd be here. Should I go?" McGee asked.

"Nope this isn't the ICU, Tony can have more than one visitor." Gibbs replied.

"Where's Sadie?" McGee asked.

"With Leon" Gibbs replied.

"How is she?" McGee asked.

"She seems OK but it is hard to tell with little kids. Physically she is fine anyway." Gibbs replied.

"Oh have you heard anything about Breena?" McGee asked.

"She wasn't raped but she has some internal injuries they are watching." Gibbs explained.

"She isn't bleeding right?" McGee asked.

"I don't know Jimmy just said internal injuries." Gibbs replied.

"I hope that she and Sadie recover quickly." McGee replied.

"Me too" Gibbs replied.

"Did you hear about Bishop?" McGee questioned.

"That she's leaving?" Gibbs asked.

"Yeah" McGee replied.

"She told me this morning." Gibbs explained.

"How do you feel?" McGee asked.

"I have never had an agent for such a short time but as long as she and her husband are happy and successful." Gibbs explained.

"Guess we are going to have to go through another agent search." McGee sighed.

"It will be fine." Gibbs assured.

"Remember after Ziva left and that Vera Strickland chick worked a couple of cases with us?" McGee asked.

"Yeah she asked me out after she retired but I had to turn her down." Gibbs replied.

"Why?" McGee asked.

"She didn't like Tony at all." Gibbs grunted.

"Yeah so?" McGee asked.

"I am going to offer you some advice. If you ever end up dating again after you have already had children. You put the kids first. If the kid doesn't like your girlfriend. That's one thing you just ignore it for the most part but if your girlfriend doesn't like your kid. You can't let it continue." Gibbs explained.

"I guess that makes sense." McGee replied.

"After she got hit by that car. She told me that it would be for the best for everybody involved if I fired him." Gibbs recalled.

"I am not saying you should have fired Tony but don't you deserve happiness?" McGee asked.

"I have happiness with you, Abby, and Tony, McGee. You guys are my family you and Tony are my sons and Abby is my daughter. Ziver too wherever she is." Gibbs explained.

"Wow thanks Boss." McGee replied.

"Your welcome" Gibbs replied.

"I have avoided this but how is Tony?" McGee questioned.

"Same" Gibbs replied.

"You haven't given him permission to you know? Have you? Right?" McGee asked.

"Give him permission to what McGee?!" Gibbs demanded.

"To uh you know die." McGee replied.

"I didn't give him permission when he had pneumonic plague and was given a fifteen percent chance of survival and even less of living a normal life. No way in hell I am going to let him die from this little injury. I am just going to keep begging until he gets his shit together and wakes up." Gibbs explained.
