Chapter 14:
Han shoved Lando into the interrogation chamber where two stormtroopers were standing next to a scangrid. "Get him ready!" Han ordered the troopers.
The troopers came up to Lando and roughly pulled him over to the scangrid and proceeded to strap him to the vertical table. Han walked up to Lando's tied up form and brought his face right up to Lando's. "I am going to see that you feel everything that I felt on Cloud City, old friend." He took a step back and just as Lando was about to respond to him, Han cut him off and turned to the trooper. "Activate the scangrid."
"Yes sir." The trooper said as he activated the scangrid and Lando was lowered into position.
As the shocks from the scangrid intensified, Lando's screams became more and more desperate. Han sat there smiling at Lando, "It hurts, doesn't it old friend." Han turned to the troopers, "Continue increasing the amount of pain, even after he passes out. Then return him to his cell, make sure he is isolated."
"Yes sir."
Han walked out of the room, looking for Luke. As he walked he was still hear Lando's desperate cries of pain. Han chuckled to himself, "Serves him right." He muttered to himself.
Luke sensed Han looking for him. "Father, I am going to see how Captain Solo's… interrogation is going."
"Very well."
Mara watched Luke and quickly spoke up, "I'm going with you."
Luke nodded to Mara and left the room, and quickly heard Lando's agonizing cries. "It seems the captain is enjoying himself."
"Indeed." Mara said, noticing the captain at the end of the hallway.
Luke's pace quickened as he walked up to Captain Solo. "Captain, I take it that you are enjoying your revenge."
Han's face became hard as a twisted smile formed on his face, "Yes, I am. I hope that proves my loyalty to you."
"It does, Captain, and you will remain loyal to the Empire for the rest of your days. Take Leia back to her cell and then report to me or my father for your next assignment."
"It will be done."
Luke turned around and began to walk off, Mara following. "What did you want to teach me, Mara?"
Mara was silent for several moments, admiring Luke's form. Her eyes followed his body up, and stopped when she saw his face, partly hidden by his hood. Luke had turned to look at her, smiling slightly. She blushed, furiously, and stormed ahead, taking the lead. "It's time you learned how not to be seen, farmboy. Come on."
