Tony tried his hardest to explain Breena's situation to McGee. All his Probie did was yell at him and tell him that he was never talking to Jimmy again. Finally he just hung up and tossed the phone in a Gibbs like fashion across the room. The past few months had brought far too much drama for Tony's liking. He hated any drama that wasn't girls fighting or Gibbs and Vance acting like an old married couple. Not the drama where people died and kids suffered. He fell back on to the couch and started to cry. One of his best friends hated the other. Breena was dead and Delilah was sick. If Breena and Delilah both had to die for him to be with Ziva it wasn't worth it.

"Tony what is wrong?" Ziva asked coming into the room in her pajamas.

"No" Tony replied.

"I know I miss Breena too. I was going to teach her Krav-Maga." Ziva replied.

"It's not Breena. I mean don't get me wrong I miss her so much but it's not her." Tony explained.

"Then what is going on? Are you not happy with me?" Ziva asked.

"I am happy with you but I think our relationship is cursed.' Tony admitted.

"Why on Earth would you think that?" Ziva asked.

"Because Breena died just after we started dating. Now McGee has to rush off too Dubai because Delilah is in the hospital." Tony explained.

"Tony! Breena has been sick and hovering between life and death for a week and Delilah well unfortunately paraplegics get sick very easily. It has nothing to do with us!" Ziva argued.

"I know it just doesn't seem right." Tony sighed.

"It isn't right but it also wouldn't be right for us to give up something we have always wanted because a couple of people got bad news. I am sorry that Breena died and I do not like that Delilah is unwell but I refuse to let them be the reasons. That we do not become a family." Ziva explained.

"You are right but what if Delilah dies too?" Tony asked.

"Did McGee say what was wrong with her?" Ziva asked.

"No" Tony sighed.

"Maybe it is nothing serious." Ziva offered.

"I hope so, Ziva." Tony replied.

"Now that we have that dealt with what else is bothering you?" Ziva asked.

"Nothing" Tony scoffed.

"You and I both know that is not true." Ziva corrected.

"When McGee told me that Delilah was in the hospital. I was calling to tell him that Breena had died. He assumed that Jimmy just didn't want a disabled wife and that is why he did not let the doctors revive Breena the last time." Tony explained.

"Yeah so? Delilah is in a wheel-chair." Ziva commented.

"He said that he hated Jimmy and he would never talk to him again." Tony replied.

"I am sure he will come around." Ziva assured.

Jimmy was alone again. Gibbs had gone back home to be with Tony, Ziva, and Sadie. It wasn't fair Gibbs had a family and he did. He knew that Gibbs had gone years alone but Jimmy hated suddenly being the man who was all alone in the world. Vance had lost Jackie but he still had his kids, Abby was single and childless but she had her family, Bishop had Jake, Gibbs, Tony, Ziva, and Sadie were a family they even had a baby on the way. Ducky was alone but Ducky had been alone for so long. Jimmy had to face it he was the new Gibbs. He just had to get used to being alone. He took his phone out of his pocket. He hadn't looked at it since he had called Ed that morning to give an update on Breena's condition. He had several texts and voice-mails of condolence for the loss of Breena. He had almost a hundred missed calls. Most were from Ed and other members of Breena's family, a few were from people at NCIS, but there were seven that jumped off the screen. He wanted to call back but it was too late now. He would have to wait until morning.

"Mr. Palmer?" Ducky called.

"What is it Dr. Mallard?" Jimmy asked.

"How are you doing?" Ducky asked.

"I miss her." Jimmy sighed.

"I know you do Mr. Palmer. I hate that Breena had to leave us so young. I am so sorry that you have to go though such horrible losses. With her and the baby you would have shared." Ducky explained.

"Thanks" Jimmy replied.

"Is there anything I can do for you?" Ducky asked.

"No thanks doctor." Jimmy replied.

"Very well I am going to go to bed in that case. Holler if you need anything." Ducky replied.

"I will doctor." Jimmy replied.

"Oh yeah Edward called me this morning. He wants to plan Breena's funeral in the morning. He would like it if you helped but he is not forcing you." Ducky explained.

"I will try to help." Jimmy replied.

"Excellent I will call him and have him come over than." Ducky replied.

"I can do it doctor." Jimmy replied.

"Alright but do it early. You will have a lot to deal with." Ducky replied.

"Why would they call me?" Jimmy asked aloud thinking Ducky had turned into his bedroom.

"Why would who call you Mr. Palmer?" Ducky questioned.

"Just a friend of Breena's who didn't like me very much." Jimmy lied.

"Oh well I am sure she was just calling to offer sympathy and ask about arrangements." Ducky replied

"Yeah you're right." Jimmy replied.

When Gibbs got home that night. He found Ziva curled up in Tony's arms on the couch. He knew that it was pretty well past Sadie's bedtime. He was disappointed that he missed tucking Sadie in that night but Jimmy needed him more.

"How's Palmer holding up?" Tony asked.

"Better than he was when I got there but he's still got a long way to go." Gibbs explained.

"I can imagine." Ziva replied.

"Do you think he will be up for visitors tomorrow?" Tony asked.

"I do not know. Even he won't know one day to the next for a while." Gibbs replied.

"Understandable" Ziva replied.

"I am sure that Ducky will call and have us all come over as soon as Jimmy is up for it." Gibbs replied.

"Alright" Tony replied.

"Do the others know?" Ziva asked.

"Everybody except McGee. Strange thing with him actually. I had ten missed calls from him but when I tried to call back. He was not answering." Gibbs commented.

"About that Boss." Tony replied.

"What did you do?" Gibbs asked.

"He called me because he could not get a hold of you. He had to go to Dubai." Tony started.

"Dubai?" Gibbs asked.

"Delilah is really sick in the hospital." Tony replied.

"Oh no" Gibbs said.

"I told him about Breena and he just started screaming that he hated Jimmy and he didn't deserve Breena just because he didn't want to have a handicapped wife." Tony explained.

"Did you tell him Breena would be bed-ridden for the rest of her life?" Gibbs asked.

"I tried to." Tony replied.

"I will call him tomorrow when he has had time to get to Dubai and rest. I am sure he is just tired and worried." Gibbs explained.

"Thanks Boss, you are probably right." Tony replied.

"Hopefully he will know what is wrong with Delilah by then." Ziva added.
