Chapter Ten: - The Children of Tiamat

Sunnydale Hospital

"Holy shit…!" Whistler exclaimed as he sensed Dawn's release of energy all the way from the Pacific and Ušumgallu's death. 'Jeez…'

"Hey, what's going on?!" Cordelia exclaimed as a loud continuous rumble of thunder rolled across the skies of Sunnydale and she was curious as to what had gotten the demon pimp so flustered.

"She killed him, I don't believe it!" Whistler said wide eyed. "Oh shit! I didn't know she was that…!" He trailed off; his connection to the Powers had allowed Whistler to be informed of the Great Dragon's fight with the younger Summers, and right this second his mind was flooded with information from his masters.

She was coming. And the Powers' greatest obstacle to their plans for the balance was with her.

Celeria and SG – 1

Klorel led his conqueror and the humans of the Tau'ri onto the Peltak just in time to see the small but still visible effects of Dawn's final attack in her fight against Ušumgallu from orbit. "What the hell was that?!" O'Neill asked as he and Carter and Daniel rushed to the viewing screen. "Was that a Nuke?" The Colonel asked as Teal'c and Bra'tac saw the small flare of light now beginning to die down.

"No, Sir. I don't think it was." Carter called out as she stared out down toward her home planet.

"There!" Bra'tac called out pointing as he saw a small figure surrounded in white flames holding position just above where the flare originated from was inside the planet's atmosphere.

"Where?" Jack squinted until he could see what Bra'tac was pointing at.

"It is the young man, O'Neill." Bra'tac replied. "He holds position as if he waits for something… he is moving again." The Jaffa master said as his superior vision could easily see Xander was moving to go help Dawn.

O'Neill and Carter turned towards Jenny, who was looking at the damaged control console whilst she kept a grip on Klorel's tunic. Jenny had kept her transceiver open as she had listened to Dawn fighting with Ušumgallu. "Hey!" Jack called out. "Was this your friend's handiwork? Are they attacking Earth?!"

Jenny ignored the human as she laid a hand on the damaged panels and ran her hand over it. 'Well this is useless.' She thought as she took note of the damage. 'We must have overloaded some of the ship's systems when we attacked earlier.' She surmised.

This time Jack brought his MP5 to bear on the woman, Jenny had heard Jack take the safety off of the weapon; she looked up and saw SG – 1 and the two Jaffa looking at her and then noticed that Klorel was facing her as well. "What?"

"Are your friend's attacking Earth?" O'Neill forced out.

Jenny frowned before smirking. "If they were attacking your planet, you'd know it."

"And how's that?" Daniel asked her carefully. That smirk unnerved him especially seeing how she was covered in blood and what he had seen her do to Apophis and his retinue of Jaffa before.

"Well, if my friends were attacking your planet, right now you would be seeing at least those two landmasses covered in flames for a start. Seeing as it hasn't been long since they both departed the ship after all." Jenny said pointing out towards North and South America. O'Neill gripped his weapon tighter, he was really starting to get pissed off with this woman, even if she did kill Apophis and save Earth for the moment.

"Well what was that then?" He asked as he reluctantly lowered the MP5.

Jenny hesitated for a minute, pretending that something among the damaged console had grabbed her attention; she knew O'Neill would ask what had caused the lightshow down on the planet. What could she tell them? That Fasha had just killed a demon that was trying to stop her from resurrecting her sister; yeah she could see how that would go down with the humans.

In an attempt to throw him off she answered: "I do not know nor do I even care." She said with a sneer. The look on his face told her he didn't believe her for a second. 'Well tough shit. I don't owe him anymore explanations.' She thought as she had finally gotten tired of these interruptions. Jenny turned to Klorel. "Can you access the ships internal communications from here?"

Reluctantly Klorel approached and surveyed the damaged circuits and control crystals. It did look like that there had been some attempt made at trying to the main systems back online. Klorel looked at the relevant circuits and traced the inlaid pathways to the corresponding crystals with his eyes; the crystals were glowing so there was power coming through. "The circuits are active. It appears my father had his Jaffa –"

"I don't care what Apophis had his Jaffa do, boy. Are the internal communications circuits functional or not?" She asked as she applied pressure where she was holding onto her prisoner. Klorel grimaced as the devil woman's grip threatened to crush the bones in his host's shoulder.

"Yes." He grounded out. "Internal communications is operational."

"Good." Jenny nodded. "Activate the system." She instructed, then looking over at Teal'c as the big Jaffa still carried Apophis' corpse, Jenny spoke: "Bring me the body."

Teal'c hesitated for a moment, the Saiyan's tone had made him bristle as he and SG – 1 looked at each other before he eventually complied with the Saiyan's wishes. "What do you intend to do, Celeria?" He asked as he handed the woman the gold covered body. Jenny dropped the lower half of the corpse to the floor and held the dead body by the neck with her left hand.

"I intend to send the surviving Jaffa on this ship a message." She looked to Klorel. "Is there a visual transmitter?"

"Yes." He turned and motioned to a medium sized grey sphere that was positioned near Apophis' command chair. "Stand in front of the Vo'cume… the sphere." He corrected quickly as her gaze narrowed at him. "It will scan you and project your image to the receptors on the other decks. Any Jaffa that still live will see the image if they are nearby."

Jenny looked at the sphere and then Klorel. "Do it and address your people then, boy." Jenny commanded. Klorel walked over to the Vo'cume and brought his ribbon device up to it and activated its control interface; the surface of the sphere rippled for a moment before it turned white and then scanned Klorel. "Address them in the human tongue, Klorel. Let the humans of Earth hear what you tell the Jaffa."

"Kree, Jaffa! I, Klorel, Child of Apophis address you now!" Klorel started as he looked at the Vo'cume. "And I tell you that my father is no more." He finished before Jenny moved to the Vo'cume and stood in front of the sphere holding the body of Apophis by her side, eager to be done with this.

"Klorel speaks the truth." Jenny begun. "I am the one who killed your god and along with two others of my kind, caused the damage to your ship." Klorel moved off to the side as Jenny spoke again. "My name is Celeria and here is your god." She cocked her head to the side indicating the corpse before she brought up her other hand moved Apophis' corpse in front of her.

"What's she doin' now?" O'Neill asked as the Saiyan woman narrowed her gaze before she placed her free hand under his enemy's chin, grabbed it and then switched her other hand to the back of the lifeless body's head. It quickly dawned on O'Neill what she was intended to do and even quicker as he guessed, the rest of SG – 1.

"Is she going to…?" Carter asked wide – eyed.

The answer was yes, it seemed. SG – 1 saw the woman's mouth twist into a feral grin and then a snarl as the Saiyan wrenched Apophis' head hard to the left and then to the right and as everyone on the Peltak heard the audible sounds of bone breaking and flesh ripping, the Saiyan woman pulled off the corpses' head and let the body drop to the floor.

"Oh god!" Carter blanched as she saw the headless body drop and blood pouring out. O'Neill grimaced and Daniel paled at the sight. Teal'c and Bra'tac remained stoic but even they, in their long life and having seen and caused many atrocities while in the service of the Goa'uld were appalled by the woman's savagery and lack of respect for the host. Klorel stared down at the headless body of his father's host and at the head the she demon held in her hands as it dripped blood onto the female monster's gloves and the floor.

Jenny looked towards the sphere. "If Apophis was a god, then I would not have been able to kill him and do that to his head. You came here to wipe out an entire civilisation; Apophis has paid with his life for this, the attack on the people you know as the Tau'ri has failed and his son has surrendered to me." Jenny said before she grabbed hold of Klorel and pulled him towards her, he tensed fearing that he would soon join his father, and Jenny could tell that he was afraid. "I have claimed the dominions and property of Apophis and Klorel as my own. Until such time as I see fit, you can all consider yourselves my prisoners. Do anything to damage this ship or attack the planet below, then you can all consider me your executioner."

Jenny looked over at SG – 1 and the two Jaffa as they glared back at her; she didn't care what they thought about her tactics, she did what she had to, in her opinion to prevent any retaliation by Jaffa that wanted revenge in the name of their fallen and defeated gods.

Certain that she had gotten her message across Jenny turned to Klorel and tossed Apophis' head into Klorel's hands shocking the boy and leaving him shaken as the head fell from his hands. "Here, boy. Something to remember me by."

She finished turning to the human's. "You can take him." She said, looking at O'Neill. "Now, get off of my ship."

Dawn

As Dawn and Xander flew over the desert on the outskirts of Sunnydale, they were being buffeted by high winds. "Where the hell did this come from?!" Dawn shouted over the den of the howling winds.

"I don't know!" Xander shouted back. "I didn't see any cloud formations in orbit; it's like it just sprung up out of nowhere!"

"Whatever!" Dawn returned. "I'm not going to let a little wind stop me from saving Buffy. Let's go!" Dawn's Ki flared as her aura shone brighter and she flew faster towards the town with Xander following her example and matching her speed.

*CRACK!*

Arcs of lightning suddenly flashed in front and all around them; torrential rain had come out of nowhere and pelted the two Saiyan's. Dawn and Xander split apart as another streak suddenly appeared between them and forced them to separate. "What the hell?!" Xander shouted.

"Ignore it! Keep going!" Dawn shouted as she dodged another streak and paid no attention to the heavy rainfall; she poured on more speed and finally realised that she was at the limit of her power as she began to slow down. 'No! I've gotta keep going!' "Gotta… save… Buffy!" She shouted out to herself as she dug down deep within herself and dragged what power she had left and increased her speed even more.

*CRACK! CRACK! CRACK!*

"AAAARRRGGGHHH!" Screamed Xander as a bolt had managed to graze his right leg; he channelled his Ki into his aura in an effort to go faster but another arc of lightning soon hit him, this time in the back and he screamed out once more in pain. Something was wrong. Something was very, very wrong.

Dawn looked back and saw Xander being struck: "Xander!" She shouted; torn between helping her fellow Saiyan and saving Buffy, Dawn waited. 'What the fuck is happening now?!'

"Jenny! It's Xander!" She shouted out over the howl of the storm.

Stargate Command

"No Mr President. We have not yet received any word from SG – 1." General Hammond replied as the President had asked about the missing team.

"And the Goa'uld, General? Have they made a move yet? The destruction of one of the…"

"Sir…" General Hammond interrupted. "… the destruction of the ship may be the only thing that is keeping the Goa'uld from attacking." He finished.

"I see. And what about the three… powered beings? Has there been any more word on them?"

"Not as yet, Mr. President." Hammond started."Since they first attacked the Goa'uld - "

"General Hammond, Sir." Sergeant Harriman called as he came into his office. Hammond looked towards the Sergeant.

"One moment, Mr. President." He replied into the phone. "Yes, Sergeant?"

"Sir, we've just got a report from the 25th OWS at the Davis – Monthan Air Force Base in Arizona. There reporting a storm that has just appeared over Southern California - "

"Storms don't just appear, Walter..." Hammond interrupted.

"Yes, sir. This one did." Harriman replied.

"George…" The President replied over the phone having heard the Sergeant's report. "… I've just received the same report from the Secretary of Defence. He's just told me the same. He just received it from the AFWA out of Offutt Air Force Base in Nebraska. Could this be some type of Goa'uld weapon?"

"I don't think so, Mr. President." Hammond responded. "In my opinion, attacking Earth with a weapon that could affect weather doesn't seem their MO. Not when they can just fire on us directly from orbit."

" Could it be those three beings then?"

"It's possible, Mr. President." Hammond responded uncertainly. He just didn't think that whatever was happening now was down to them. At least, not directly.

Sunnydale Hospital

"What the hell is happening out there?! Cordelia asked as the lights in the corridor flickered as the freak weather had even reached the town and had begun to affect the town's electrical power.

"It's the Powers. They're sending in the big guns." Whistler said to the girl before he stopped talking and looked up.

'The Disruption and the Key are near; we cannot wait any longer. You must act now before the Key gets there! Destroy the body of the fallen Slayer! Tiamat's get will buy you time. Proceed! Now! Do it now!'

Whistler sighed; he hated everything that had just about happened tonight. That chaos mage really did a number on everything!

He was telling the truth before when he was talking to the redhead earlier; he really did like Buffy. He thought that she really did have a chance against the big, bad world out there. She'd done alright so far. Sure, there would've been some bumps along the road, Angel being the biggest. 'Should've seen that happenin.' He thought to himself. 'I practically introduced them to each other!' She would've stumbled, but she would've persevered! Sure, yeah, she would've moaned, whined and have a good cry about it, but she'd have gotten back up and gotten the job done. And told ol' destiny and fate to take a runnin' leap while doin' it.

Now, though, he had to run the risk of angering not only Rupert 'Ripper' Giles, A girl who doesn't even know that she's a magical powerhouse yet, and the kid, Harris' potential main squeeze… man, it sucked to be him right now.

And if by some fluke they lived through the next five minutes, two badass super powered demon killers and the future ruler of Chulak! Man, life just wasn't fair sometimes.

"Whatever its worth to ya guys, I'm sorry." And with that, Whistler moved; he approached the three humans and winced as he saw the Watcher tense and summon what magic power he had; Willow moved to stand just behind the Brit as Cordelia backed up against the wall. Neither knew what he was going to do and he decided that he would leave it like that.

"Whatever you have planned, I wouldn't rec –" Whatever Giles was going to say was cut off as the Balance Demon reached into his inside coat pocket and grabbed a handful of purple coloured dust and blew it into the face of the Watcher.

"Mr. Giles…!" The Watcher couldn't but breathe in as the sudden move by Whistler had surprised him before it paralysed him completely, but what surprised the remaining three people in the corridor was the fact that Joyce and the doctor that had taken Buffy's body away before had returned.

'Shit!' Whistler cursed as he reached into his coat again and rummaged around for his next weapon to use against them as the doctor ran to call security.

"Giles! Mrs. Summers, watch out!" Willow called out before the redhead and Cordelia moved to the startled woman. "We have to get out of here!" Willow said as she glanced back at the paralysed Watcher. 'Xander, Dawn, Ms. Calendar, help!' She couldn't help but think as Whistler pulled out a talisman from his coat and held it up in his hand.

"Caecus et ligaveres! Caecus! Caecus!" Whistler called out before the talisman in his hand glowed brightly. Cordelia, Willow, Joyce were drawn to look at the bright emanation before it had gotten so intense that they felt like their eyes were on fire and then felt themselves being restrained whilst screaming.

Jenny

"Celeria, look…" Jack began as he tried to salvage the situation with the Saiyan. "We appreciate what you and your friends did for saving Earth, seriously, but see it from my point of view. This ship, at best, is only damaged and can possibly be repaired. At worst, its crippled and might never fly again…"

"What's your point, human?" She asked. "You want me to allow you to send your scientists, engineers and technicians up here to take a look at the technology that comprises this ship; is that it?"

"Uh, yeah. We're fighting a war against the Goa'uld. They're out there, and they control most of the galaxy if not downright all of it! We need every advantage that we can get, because even though we've - " Jenny glared at him. "You've stopped Apophis, there are more of them out there!"

"Colonel O'Neill speaks truly, Celeria." Teal'c spoke, supporting his friend. "Collectively, we have defeated all but two Ha'taks… this ship that you have claimed in conquest of Klorel; the Goa'uld possess many more like it…"

Jenny interrupted. "Make no mistake, we held back most of our power when the ships entered orbit above your planet and we damaged this one."

"But could you and your friends defeat an entire fleet?" The Shol'va returned. "What if the Goa'uld send the combined might of their forces against you, could the three of you defeat that big a force?"

"My friends and I would easily destroy that big a force." Jenny said confidently, smirking. 'Especially when the moon is full!' Teal'c could hear the arrogance in her tone, but more to the point, he believed her as he was sure that Bra'tac did as well.

"Jenny!" Dawn's voice cut through her thoughts, and the Saiyan was grateful for the interruption as she was beginning to get fed up with dealing with O'Neill and the others. "Its Xander!"

Jenny's eyes widened, she tuned her scouter's transceiver to Xander's frequency and immediately winced when his screams came through the transmission. SG – 1 saw the wince and were curious as to what the woman was doing now; they had seen her using the device on her face and came to the conclusion that she was listening to the others. "What's going on?" Jack asked.

Jenny ignored him as she looked back at the human's and glared at them. Enough was enough! She needed them gone. "It's none of your concern. This conversation is over; I've asked you once, I'm not in the habit of repeating myself…" The Saiyan said, growling as she narrowed her gaze at the human's and stepped towards them. "… Get off of this ship before I make you. And take the boy with you, I have no more use for him." And with that Jenny stood off to the side and waited for the human's to move.

She was angry, her friends were possibly in danger and she was stuck up here having to deal with three humans and three Jaffa rebels and one conquered Goa'uld when she wanted to be down there helping Xander and Dawn. In response to her emotional state, Jenny's Ki aura flared into being, her lithe, toned form surrounded by the ethereal flame became more intense as SG – 1 failed to move. "I SAID LEAVE! NOW!" Jenny shouted angrily.

Everyone on the ship, from SG – 1 to Apophis' surviving Jaffa startled and feared when the ship started shaking as a result of Jenny's power expressing itself because of her current emotional state. The reason for this was because Xander's screams as he was repeatedly struck by lightning was still coming through her scouter. And this made her blood boil.

Realising that they weren't going to make her change her mind anytime soon, Bra'tac spoke up: "Come, we must leave!" He moved off and passed the Saiyan as she glared at the humans. "Come! We must get to the Tel'tak!" The old man turned to Klorel and grabbed the false god by his arm and held him tightly as he was soon followed by the other rebel and Teal'c.

"Tel'tak? T?" O'Neill asked.

"A Goa'uld cargo ship." The Jaffa replied before he followed Bra'tac.

"Right." O'Neill nodded.

"… Colonel?" Carter asked as she looked at him and then Daniel before she looked at the angry scowl on the Saiyan's features.

"… Alright, we're outta here." Jack said as he considered his options and came to the conclusion that he didn't really have any. He couldn't force the woman to give the ship over to the US Government, he doubted he could force her to do anything she didn't want to, but he wasn't done with her or her two friends. "Daniel, let's go!" Jenny watched as SG – 1 left the Peltak and as she turned towards the view screen, she looked out toward the Earth and saw a huge storm cloud over the West Coast of the US.

"What the fuck is going on now?! It seems like we just can't catch a break tonight!" She asked aloud as she turned away and flew out of the bridge passing a startled SG – 1 as she flew over their heads. A second later as she had exited the Ha'tak out of the hole they had blasted in it earlier, a satellite had captured her image as she was flying towards Earth determined to inflict pain on whatever was hurting her friend.

SG – 1

"What's her problem?" O'Neill asked as he and the others followed Bra'tac to where the Tel'tak were berthed in the ship. They had passed some surviving Jaffa as the warriors roamed the decks of the Ha'tak; it was a tense moment, O'Neill and the other members of his team gripped their weapons tightly as a few of the Jaffa glared at them, they probably held them responsible for the death of Apophis. Yeah, well he wasn't really gonna be losing sleep over that.

"She seemed to be in a hurry, Sir." Carter said as she glanced in the direction the Saiyan flew off in. That was Jen Calendar, she was sure of it. Which begged the question, what in the Sam Hell was she really and how could she do what she did?!

"Carter?" Jack began as he saw her space out. 'She's probably thinking about that woman again. She was looking at her earlier, maybe she liked the chick – nah!' " You okay Carter?"

"Sir?" She asked before she registered the question. "Yes, Sir. I'm fine. Just eager to get back to the SGC."

"Right." He agreed. "You know, debriefing Hammond on this is gonna be a massive headache."

"Yes, Sir. I'm not sure I would believe it myself if I hadn't seen what those three can do."

"Yeah…" O'Neill said as he thought about what he had witnessed, three powerful beings, one of whom was a young girl that couldn't have been no more than twelve, covered in blood who couldn't have been no more than twelve tearing a group of Jaffa apart with her bare hands and then vaporising them. That's the type of thing you won't be able to forget for a while.

Shortly, after climbing down two more decks, the group made it to the Tel'tak; Bra'tac, dragging Klorel inside the ship entered onto the flight deck and headed towards the cargo hold of the ship with the prisoner as the old master's former Chal'tii accompanied him followed by Daniel and O'Neill. "Bra'tac?" The old man turned to O'Neill before he trusted the prisoner to Teal'c and moved to the piloting controls. "This bucket have a phone? We need to contact the SGC and appraise them of the situation."

Bra'tac looked at him nonplussed for a moment before he turned to Carter and Daniel. "He means does this ship have a communications system?" Daniel clarified.

The old man looked at O'Neill. "… we will have to get clear of the Ha'tak first, but yes, you will be able to contact your people." Bra'tac was then joined by his former Chal'tii who took the co – pilots chair and began powering up the secondary systems. Both the exterior hatch and the interior bulkhead doors closed as the Tel'tak powered up and as Bra'tac then took the pilot's chair, the craft lifted off of the deck. The old man took the piloting controls and swung the Tel'tak around to face the docking bay doors and after operating the Tel'taks' remote control function, the doors opened and the ship flew out into the space.

It was a minute later when the Tel'tak had gotten far enough from the Ha'tak and saw Earth that it sunk in for the members of SG – 1 that their home was still there. That Apophis' attack had been thwarted and their home was safe.

Bra'tac operated another control on the pilot console and then called out to O'Neill. "Human, I have activated the communications system. You may now speak to your people."

O'Neill approached the Jaffa master and looked at him. "Got a mic?"

"Just speak, your people will be able to hear." Bra'tac acknowledged.

"… Right." Jack said, before a thought came to him. "Wait, how do you know our communications frequency?"

"When you were apprehended earlier, we analysed your communication equipment. It was a simple matter to match our communications to yours."

"… Right… of course it was. Is the channel secure?" Jack asked before he leant forward near the control Bra'tac had operated, Bra'tac nodded at the last question and O'Neill then spoke: "Stargate Command, this is Colonel Jack O'Neill, come in please!"

No response. O'Neill tried again. "Stargate Command, this Colonel Jack O'Neill, authentication code, Sierra Golf Niner Alpha Delta Bravo Two. Please respond."

Another moment passed before there was a response. "Sierra Golf Niner, this is Stargate Command, it's good to hear from you. Please standby for General Hammond."

O'Neill waited as the Sergeant at the SGC handed the mic to Hammond; as Bra'tac set the Tel'taks course for the planet, the old man looked out of the flight deck's window and saw the storm brewing down on the planet. "O'Neill."

"Yeah?"

"Your planet." The Jaffa master as he gestured with a nod of his head; O'Neill followed Bra'tac's gaze and saw what had grabbed his attention.

A few seconds passed before SG – 1 heard Hammond's voice and O'Neill listened. "SG – 1, It's good to hear your voice… we'll debrief when you return to base. At the moment, we have a situation…"

"Ah, General, would that situation be the big storm covering most of Southern California?"

Xander and Dawn

Xander gritted his teeth as raw electrical current surged through his entire body after he kept getting struck by lightning; it was like they were specifically targeting him –

"And you would be right, Disrupter." A deep booming voice had called out all around him. Dawn looked all around, looking for the source of the voice before she rolled her eyes. Great! This is just what they needed right now 'Not!'.

Angered and annoyed at the second time that something had gotten in her way of saving her sister, because what else could it have been, Dawn raged: "WHO THE FUCK?!" Her Ki field flaring in response to her temper.

"Silence, Brat!" Another voice called out in response to Dawn's rage.

"Fuck you!" Dawn shouted back. "Show yourself so we can get this over with!"

"So eager to die, I see. Very well." The first voice called out before another flash of lightning ripped across the open sky and aimed for Xander. The young Saiyan male had managed to dodge the streak and he turned, breathing deeply as he recovered and watched as the bolt hit the ground.

"Ugh… fucking hell… that… hurt." He got out before he felt Dawn's hand on his shoulder; he turned and saw the concern on her face, but he could tell that it was warring with her need to save Buffy.

"How touching. I did not think you Monkeys had developed the capacity for sentiment. You certainly didn't show any towards the False Ones warriors aboard their vessel. But you have certainly put the… gifts that Janus has blessed you with to good use." The two transformed warriors floated back to back as the deep booming voice spoke to them. As Xander and Dawn glanced at each other at the mention of Janus' name, it confirmed Xander's hypothesis that the three of them were changed into Saiyans because of the aliens impending attack.

"Fuck you! Show yourself, do you hear me! SHOW YOURSELF!" Dawn shouted as Xander and her prepared themselves. Just then, five bolts of lightning appeared surrounding the two Neo – Saiyans as they fell into an offensive stance.

"Such rage. Such pain you have inside you girl. Very well, you wanted us, here we are!" Another voice, softer than the others heard previously spoke out. The two were blinded for a moment as the five bolts of lightning discharged, revealing five demons. "I am Ugallu, Beast of the Weather." Ugallu hovered just off to Dawn's right; his head was like Ušumgallu's, that of a lion but with yellow eyes and the body of a human but the taloned feet of an eagle. He was armed, Dawn saw a golden mace holstered on his hip and a golden dagger strapped around his waist, sheathed in leather.

"And I am Umū – dabrūtu, of the Violent Storms. It was my lightning you tasted, boy! And you shall taste it again." The demon remarked with a flourish of one of his clawed hands. Xander made a mental note to kill this bastard slowly and agonisingly. That lightning had fucking hurt, which surprised him greatly. Umū couldn't have looked more different than Ugallu did; the monster had four arms, each one sporting a three fingered and clawed hand and bolts of lightning held in each one and the body of a serpent. It's head was that of an eagle with four red eyes and feathered wings stretching out of its back.

"I'm going to tear those arms off and beat you to death with them. I promise you." Xander said glaring at the creature, his teeth bared and faced twisted into a snarl; Umū laughed, Xander would show him.

"Hold, brother! I shall be the one that tests the man child's mettle." The third demon to speak called out. Both Saiyan's recognised this voice as the one that had first spoken to them when they made themselves known. Xander looked over to the demon as it hovered unaided. "I am Kusa, the Great Bull, and I will break you boy!" He declared, posturing. Kusa stood over seven feet tall, the Saiyan's figured, he easily dwarfed over them.

"You can try." Xander glared as he looked at the demon, his blood boiling in anticipation for a fight. It looked like the many images of the Minotaur that Xander had seen in Giles' books on Greek mythology. It had the head of a bull with two sharp, turned up blackened horns that almost melded with the dark and two red eyes filled with fire and rage; it was broad shouldered, its bulky frame denoted just how physically powerful an opponent he could be as it stood on hind – quartered legs. For a moment Xander thumbed the control on his scouter and scanned the Great Bull. A second later and its scan was finished. '5000.' The display indicated in its alien script before the display changed again, much to Xander's confusion. 'Inconclusive! What the…?' He carefully masked his surprise as the Scouter rescanned the creature automatically and came up with the same reading again; 5000 and then inconclusive once more. Figuring out that he wouldn't be able to rely on his scouter, Xander deactivated the device.

"Really Kusa?" Umū – dabrūtu sighed before it rolled its four eyes. "Oh, very well. I suppose that I'll just have to entertain myself with the girl then - " The demon of the storms leered at Dawn before he trailed off as his senses told him that someone was approaching from afar, he turned away from Kusa and looked off in the direction. Far off in the distance the demon's eyes narrowed as his vision picked up a small flare of white energy in the distance. And the energy of the third transformed mortal. Umū – dabrūtu clicked his beak and grinned before he turned back towards Xander and Dawn. "Or, I can just entertain myself with the other one! She comes as we speak."

"What?!" Xander growled at the creature whilst he was pleased to hear that Jenny was on way. 'She must've finished up on the ship!' He thought as he shifted his gaze to where eagle head looked off at.

"Enough, Umū. Get this over with." Called out another of the demons surrounding the two Saiyans.

"Dimmu…" Umū said sighing. "… Fine!"

"My thoughts exactly." Dawn said looking at Dimmu; compared to how the other three had animal characteristics, Dimmu looked human. He wore a long white robe that was tied with a blue and gold sash around his waist, but his face was human; a head of black hair, two eyes, two ears, a nose, a mouth and a black beard; he wore the most bored looking expression on his face, as if he couldn't wait for this to be over and done with.

"I am in agreement with our brother, Umū. Let us finish this now!" The final demon spoke out amongst the howl of the storm. "It was because of Ušumgallu's own bull headedness that he is dead. He should've waited for us before attacking the girl. The girl…" The demon said gesturing at Dawn.

"… The girl had fun blowing him up!" Dawn interrupted the demon, smirking. The demon scowled at her for the interruption. "It was fun. He died because he got in my way of saving my sister, just like the five of you are doing right now!"

"Your sister must not be resurrected!" The final demon replied. "She shall not! I, Baš, the Lord of Serpents, eldest of the Children of Tiamat proclaim it!"

"Proclaim all you want! It won't do you any good. You all keep saying that I can't bring Buffy back, but you're not saying why she can't be! But whatever your reasons are, I don't care! You will not stop me from bringing her back!" Dawn shouted. "If we're going to fight, then let's fight!"

"What she said!" Jenny's voice roared over high winds as she had speedily arrived at the gathering. She looked over at Xander and saw the glare he directed at the minotaur looking demon and the one with the eagle head. Guess we know who he's gonna be fighting then, she thought before she turned to look at Dawn. "Guys. You good to go, Xan?" Jenny greeted quickly, she floated over and stood back to back with the other two.

"Just peachy, Lady J."

"Finally! What's that mortal expression?" Umū – dabrūtu asked gleefully in anticipation for the impending carnage. "Oh yeah. Hail! Hail! The gang's all here!" He crowed. "How quaint. Now we can begin – ugh!"

"About damn time!" Xander's fist to Umū – dabrutu's beak had cut the demon off unexpectedly. The Saiyan smirked as the eagle headed demon went crashing down towards the desert before Kusa charged him attempting to gore Xander on his horns and then all hell broke loose as Umū shot right back up after Xander with lightning bolts ready to let fly at the young Saiyan.

Umū threw the bolts at Xander as the boy wrestled with Kusa; Xander had grabbed the Great Bull by its horns and brought his knee up into the demon's face. Kusa's head rocked back under Xander's repeated knee attack and as it tried to ignore the pain the attacks caused, he landed heavy kidney punches into Xander's torso; Xander grunted against the pain of the blows but he refused to release his grip on Kusa. Even as Umū's lightning struck him in the back. "AAAAHHHHH!" But Xander eventually didn't have a choice in the matter, spasming violently he lost his grip on Kusa's horns as the electricity surged through his body.

"I told you boy. I told you that you'd taste the lightning again." Umū taunted as he crashed into Xander and jabbed his elbow into Xander's spine hard; his lightning attacks not affecting him in the slightest. Xander roared out in anger and pain before he rallied, his face sported a look of rage as he used his Ki to push Umū away and then kick the demon in the face and Umū was thrown far off into the distance as he went before he disappeared from view leaving Xander to deal with Kusa for the moment.

Dawn charged towards Baš as Jenny headed towards the demon Ugallu and quickly engaged him as Xander dealt with Kusa and Umū – dabrūtu. Baš backed off away from the girl; his long serpentine body belied just how fast he moved as Dawn had already reached his position and let loose with a Ki blast aimed at his face but missed as the demon shot under the blast and came at Dawn with a charge of his own as he raised his fists towards the girl. Dawn grunted as Baš' fist connected with the knee she had just been able to raise in time.

"You're strong girl." He was fast, Dawn noted as she braced herself against the demon's attack, kicked Baš' fist away and then retaliated with her elbow to the demon's face and pushed him back then fired another Ki blast at him.

"Brother!" Dimmu called out as he saw the blast of energy hit Baš head on. "Bitch! You'll pay for that! You will not kill any more of my Brothers!" He roared out enraged before he fired a blast of magic at the Saiyan girl. The enraged shout from the once bored looking demon caused Dawn to turn and bring her arms up to block the attack; she grunted as the force of Dimmu's blast hit her Ki and passed through her Ki field and impacted on her arms, forcing her away. "I will destroy you!"

"You… can… try…!" Dawn gritted out as she was pushed back by Dimmu's attack. Dimmu charged at Dawn, enraged that the girl even had the audacity to attack, but he didn't know that the girl was a Saiyan and that she now liked to fight. He knew that she had been permanently changed thanks to the spell that had Janus cackling like mad up in the higher realms, but he didn't think that she and the other two had been that drastically altered.

Altered enough that they can go toe – to – toe with demons of their level and magical power.

Dawn had managed to shrug off Dimmu's attack and charge back at the demon, they met in a furious clash of punches and kicks. Elbow attacks and knee hits and claw swipes that staggered each one but they didn't let that stop them.

"Little bitch!"A growling voice said behind her she felt a claw swipe at her back suddenly.

"AAAAHHHH!" Enraged, Dawn quickly blocked a punch from Dimmu, head butted him and then kicked him away once the demon was dazed and spun to see Baš looking down upon her as he was surrounded by an aura of green energy; Baš moved, quickly throwing a punch at the girl's face, but he was annoyed as Dawn, even quicker, disappeared from his sight and then reappeared behind him and delivered a hammer blow down upon his head sending him crashing towards the ground with Dawn speeding after the falling demon.

"You're really going to have to do better than that!" She called out to the falling demon before she saw the Lord of Serpents crash into the ground and leaving a huge crater on his enforced landing. Dawn quickly landed beside Baš in the crater she had made with his falling form; holding out both of her arms towards the groaning demon, she started gathering Ki between in her hands.

"Ugh… Ugh…" Baš groaned out as he tried to move. Pain racking through him. A pulsing sound soon penetrated his hearing and he turned to see the hated brat at his side… and a growing ball of energy in her hands. His eyes widened. "No! NO!"

"Yes!" Dawn hissed as she fed more of her Ki into her attack. Dawn heard Baš beginning to mutter something she couldn't understand, not taking any chances with what the Lord of Serpents was doing, she fired. And Dimmu, having recovered from the girl's attack watched as the blast consumed his brother's form.

"NO!" Dimmu charged towards the girl as Dawn looked up as the blast cooked the Lord of Serpents alive.

She rose into the air and headed for the demon. "Energy Ballet!" Dawn called out as she threw a series of Ki attacks at the monster; enraged at the girl, Dimmu ignored the blasts as he shot towards the girl and hit her in her stomach, knocking her to the ground. But Dimmu kept on with his attacks as anger and rage fuelled him onwards to destroy the girl, as Dawn crashed into the ground, her body bounced due to the impact and then Dimmu then crashed into her with a knee attack, eliciting a scream of agony from the girl as the demon's knee pressed hard on her gut.

But that didn't stop Dawn as she quickly rallied, turned and looked at Dimmu and snarled. "RRRRAAAAAGGGGHHHHH!" Dawn roared out as she used her Ki to push the demon off of her and throw him far, ignoring the pain in her gut, Dawn got up and flew off after her foe, intent on ripping the demon's head off.

Jenny and Xander both turned as they heard their compatriot cry out and then retaliate against Dimmu; their opponents quickly took advantage of their distraction. Kusa and Umū – dabrūtu attacked Xander as one; Umū had teleported back from where he had crashed into the desert thanks to Xander's kick to his face earlier on; he looked at the boy, his demonic visage twisted with a look of rage with murder burning in his eyes. Their fists collided with the boy's face hard, knocking him away while Jenny was lucky enough to dodge the blast of magic that Ugallu threw at her.

Ugallu cursed under his breath as his attack missed the transformed teacher; Jenny smirked and then a fired Ki blast toward her attacker; the demon's eyes widened as the blast Jenny sent shot toward him before he could move and hit him square in the chest making him roar out in pain and then charge the Saiyan woman.

"I'll kill you, you bitch! I'll tear you apart!" Ugallu challenged; Jenny smirked as she focused on her opponent. She knew that Dawn could take care of herself. Ugallu glared at the teacher and became even more enraged at the smirk her face sported; the demon charged, his fists raised as he intended to beat that smirk off of the woman's face but Jenny charged to and the two mighty warriors soon met in the middle with a clash of punches and kicks.

Jenny blocked an elbow strike for the demon as she retaliated with a knee to the demons gut and a backhanded slap with her right, Ugallu rocked as the hit jarred his senses but Jenny kept going as she drove powerful punch after powerful punch into Ugallu's stomach, making the demon cry out in pain. "HHHAAAA!" The Saiyan woman shouted out as she opened her mouth and fired a bright yellow blast of energy from her mouth straight at the monster. Ugallu was so surprised by the move that he almost didn't raise his arms up to defend himself in time as the attack shot towards him aiming for its face.

*BBBBBOOOOOOMMMMM!* The beam exploded against the demon's raised arms and Ugallu cried out in pain as he was thrown back by the force of the blast; his lower arms scorched and blistered as the scent of burnt flesh filled the air.

"Hah… hah…" Jenny breathed after she had finished her attack; she hadn't expected to be able to use that technique; Celeria's memories of using it herself not – withstanding, but she was almost as surprised by it like Ugallu, but she was able to hide her surprise from her opponent as he lowered his arms and stared at the woman in fear before that look was replaced by anger.

"I don't think you'll have an easy time of trying to tear me apart…" Jenny said before she disappeared in a flash before the demon's eyes and quickly reappeared in front of him and drove an uppercut into his chin, rocketing the demon further up into the air and past the stormy looking cloud bank. "… ME? I DON'T THINK I'LL HAVE THAT PROBLEM. DO YOU?!" She shouted after him. Jenny's Ki field flared as the Saiyan woman channelled her Ki and rocketed straight up into the cloud bank after the demon.

After Xander had kicked Umū – dabrūtu hard in the stomach, the demon exhaled forcibly, folding in on himself gasping for air, Xander grinned at the damage he had done to the demon, enjoying the look of pain the monster wore but the Great Bull, Kusa didn't like that. "Bastard!" The Great Bull charged at great speed toward the young boy, his angered roar making Xander turn and face the demon, Xander saw the charge, but instead of either dodging the charge or meeting the demon head on, Xander waited.

"Bring it!" He called out confidently, Kusa saw red as he continued charging, the boy's grin widened as the minotaur got closer and closer. And Kusa got more angrier as all trace of thought left the demon, he was just a berserker beast of anger and rage and the boy was his prey. In a second, the Great Bull had closed the distance between the two of them and then Xander had acted. Shooting straight up into the air, Xander quickly rounded on the demon and fired a powerful blast of energy at the demon, Kusa was going too fast to stop and turn around, recognising his brother Umū at the very last second, the Great Bull crashed into the Demon of the Violent Storms and both went tumbling end over end before Xander's Ki attack hit them both together making them cry out in pain.

"Score!" Xander crowed before he charged his foes again and kicked out at Kusa, knocking him further away as he then turned on Umū and proceeded to make good on his promise to the demon from earlier.

As Xander grabbed the demon by the throat, Umū struggled in the boy's iron grip just as Xander started to pound on the demon's body with his free hand; the Saiyan teen punched the demon hard in the stomach, its upper chest area, he smirked as he heard bone breaking, he delivered a shot to both of the creature's kidneys and then rounded on Umū's stomach area again and pounded it some more.

Umū coughed up some blood as he tried to pry the boy's grip from his neck; the demon clawed at Xander's arm but despaired when he didn't break the skin. He kicked his feet out, using his talons and trying to gouge chunks of flesh from Xander's legs where his armour offered them no protection, but Xander again didn't feel a thing. "Nice try." He hissed before he backhanded the demon in the head repeatedly making Umū cry out again in pain.

All the while, the Demon of the Violent Storms thought about how this fight should've been an easy win for him and his brothers because this wasn't how the Children of Tiamat expected this battle to go.

At the sounds of his brother's agonised screams, Kusa recovered from his freefall; righting his body, summoned his magic to slow heal his body of the boy's wounds; he grinned as he felt his magic restoring his body, but he winced as Umū's cries got louder and louder as they pierced the howling winds of the storm. "Damn you boy! Brother!" He shouted as he flew straight at Xander, intent on freeing his brother and breaking the boy.

Xander didn't bother turning his head as Kusa charged, finally having enough of punching Umū, Xander charged a Ki blast in his hand and fired it into the demon's chest. The Ki blast exploded against Umū's chest and the force of the blast threw the demon away. "DAMN YOU!" Kusa raged as he bored into Xander and hammered the boy's body with punches, knee attacks and elbow strikes against the armoured torso. Kusa threw a straight punch into the Saiyan teen's stomach and Xander grunted against the attack, he placed his hands on the Great Bull's outstretched arm and pushed it away.

"Heh… did you really think I didn't notice your wounds had healed?" Xander grinned at the demon's snarling face before he scowled and then roared out as he summoned his Ki field around him. "AAAAHHHH!" Kusa grimaced as he sensed the boy's strength amazingly matching his own as his arm was finally pushed away from the boy's gut. "Let's test your limits. Feel… the… burn, Bullwinkle!" Xander growled as he gripped Kusa's arm tightly making the demon wince as Xander then used his energy to set the demon's arm on fire as he used Tora's immolation attack.

"AAAAIIIIIEEEE!" Kusa cried out in pain, making Xander smirk as the demon literally screamed like a little girl as his arm was consumed in a halo of blue flame leaving a blackened stump of smouldering flesh. As Kusa cradled his new stump, he looked at Xander and for the first time in his long life, he truly felt fear. And it was all because of a mortal.

Xander was about to deliver the final blow to the Great Bull, enjoying the mounting fear that he could see in Kusa's eyes; Tora's memories flashed idly in the back of his mind as he could remember the Saiyan enjoying the same sensations as he and his teammates wiped out entire planets of life for Frieza's Planet trade. For a moment Xander smiled widely at the demon as Kusa backed off, preparing to run. The Saiyan teen raised his arm and gathered Ki in the palm of his hand, a bluish glow surrounded his arm as he primed himself to fire.

"Where d'you think you're going?!" Xander called out as the blue glow surrounding his arm had gotten brighter. "You're going nowhere except straight to Hell!" He shouted as he roared out and fired his attack towards Kusa's fleeing form. The Great Bull turned his head and saw the giant blue blast of energy coming straight toward him, sweat covered his bovine shaped brow as he tried to ignore the pain the stump gave him and summon his magic to protect him from the boy's attack.

He couldn't do it though, the pain was just too great and as Xander's attack finally closed the gap between it and its target, Kusa knew that he was going to die as he knew that his healing magic couldn't heal lost limbs. "AAAARRRRGGGGHHHH!" The blast hit Kusa in the stomach, the force of the attack pushing him further and further away as it burned right through the demon's body, obliterating its abdominal organs as it ripped right through and blasted out the back of the demon and as it did the life faded from the Great Bull's eyes as it fell towards the desert, dead.

SG – 1

Carter and Daniel approached from behind O'Neill as he, Carter, Bra'tac and Daniel observed the storm from their current position high above the Earth. "Carter, what d'you make of that?"

"Sir?" The Captain asked as she turned to her CO before she looked out the window and her eyes grew wide. She peered closer and looked out the window; a second later something had broken through the storm cloud shooting high into the planets mesosphere. "What was that?"

Bra'tac looked out of the window. "I was hoping you knew." The old Jaffa master replied as his sight allowed him to see the shape of the object thanks to his Symbiote. "Whatever that is, it is not human." He finished, drawing the attention of SG – 1.

"What?!" Daniel exclaimed. "What was that?"

"I said that it is not human." Bra'tac repeated as he operated the controls and the ship moved towards Earth.

"Look…" Carter said pointing at the cloud as another small object broke through the massive storm cloud and sped toward the first; as the Tel'tak neared Earth, the two objects got bigger until SG – 1, Bra'tac and his co – pilot looked with wide eyes that it was Celeria, surrounded by her Ki field and she was fighting a big lizard with four arms and the head of an eagle.

"What the hell?!" O'Neill asked as he watched Celeria crash into the weird looking thing and then hit it with a right hook to its face followed by a left and then an uppercut; Ugallu was knocked further up above the planet's mesosphere. Jenny looked up and fired a barrage of Ki blasts at the demon, Ugallu swatted the blast aside before he threw out his arms and moved them, making a complex pattern in front of his body. The Saiyan woman watched as Ugallu became surrounded with a red aura and miniature sparks of lightning arcing around its body.

As the Tel'tak drew near, the thing glanced at them and they could see it smirk before it looked back at the woman; neither one made for a moment but the crew of the Tel'tak could tell see that whatever that thing was, it was speaking to the woman. They saw Celeria turn around and look at them and they saw her actually rolling her eyes as she must've realised they had been watching the fight before she turned back to the demon, only to get a blast of magic in the face throwing her across the wide expanse above the planets Thermosphere as Ugallu chased after her.

"Ouch." O'Neill said. "That had to hurt." The Colonel turned towards his team members. "Okay, someone wanna tell me what the hell that… thing is? Anyone?"

He really didn't expect them to know the answer. "Mysteries of the universe…" Jack muttered. "… Right… Bra'tac, this ship have any weapons?"

Bra'tac was about to answer before a flare of light quickly regained their attention; as one SG – 1 turned back towards the fight that was happening outside the ship, and O'Neill thought again for a second time that he was living in a comic book. Celeria had apparently recovered and started to deliver another round of hurt on whatever it was she was fighting, the woman grabbed one of the creature's arms and started to spin the creature around her, they watched her go faster and faster, becoming a blur of centrifugal motion before she eventually released the creature and let it fly as she then stretched out her arm and fired a huge blast of energy at the being.

"Bra'tac, this ship has sensors right?" O'Neill started.

"Yes. I took the liberty of setting the sensors to record this battle." The Jaffa master said as his Chal'tii student looked at the fight with eyes filled with awe. Even the old man had to admit that this was the stuff of legends unfolding right before his eyes.

"What about weapons?" O'Neill repeated. Bra'tac answered in the negative.

"SG – 1, come in." General Hammond's voice called out over the Tel'taks' speaker.

"General Hammond, sir. You're not going to believe what we're seeing up here, sir…!" O'Neill replied.

"Believe me, Colonel, I already do." Hammond responded. "The Hubble is transmitting everything. We're also receiving satellite imagery and telemetry… Jack, what am I seeing, here? Is that a Goa'uld weapon? Is the storm a result of a Goa'uld weapon?"

Good questions, O'Neill thought. The Colonel looked to Bra'tac. "It is not Goa'uld, human. To my knowledge, they do not possess the technology to create a creature such as this. Weather manipulation on the other hand is child's play to them. But neither Apophis, nor Klorel were responsible for this." The old man finished.

SG – 1 watched as the creature fired another blast of magic, it quickly closed the distance as it and the woman's blast collided with one another and fought for dominance over the other.

Ugallu drew upon more of his magic in an attempt to completely overpower the woman's blast; he was still surrounded by the aura he had summoned earlier and SG – 1 watched as the aura began flare intensely as the creature's blast started to push the woman's blast back towards her. Then, they saw Celeria mirror the creature as her Ki field aura flared brightly before she raised her other arm up and joined it with the other one and fired another blast of energy from it strengthening the beam.

The woman's blast managed to push the creatures back towards it as the duel continued to the amazement of SG – 1 and the Jaffa. "Whoa… they're certainly giving it their all."

"Indeed." Bra'tac replied as he wondered if the woman, Celeria and her two friends would ally themselves with him in an effort to defeat the Goa'uld. As the blast duel waged on, SG – 1's attention was suddenly drawn to the storm. They could see brief flashes of light coming from within the storm clouds; at first, Captain Carter thought that it was lightning flashes at first, but when a bright blast of energy burst through the thick cloud layer, she quickly amended that thought.

Dawn

Dimmu and Dawn flew at each other; collided on the desert ground in a flurry of attacks powerful to topple buildings with one hit. Dawn's fist collided with Dimmu's face, crumpling its nose and breaking it; Dimmu roared in pain, threw a punch at Dawn's face in retaliation and then smacked Dawn's head around twice with a double hammer blow making her spin. Dawn whirled around, jumped and spun in mid – air and kicked Dimmu in the right side of his face. The demon went flying, Dawn's kick making it travel at speed of a bullet being fired from a 9mm before Dimmu finally crashed into the ground ripping up the desert.

The demon rolled and tumbled along the floor before he forced himself to come to a stop; digging the claws of his right arm into the ripped up dirt and sand, Dimmu jumped up, turned and faced Dawn as the Saiyan teen flew right at him, leading with a raised knee that crashed into the demon's hastily raised arm, blocking the attack. "I'LL KILL YOU!" Dimmu roared as he swept his arm and Dawn's knee aside and then drove a heavy fist into the girl's stomach and then he returned Dawn's earlier kick to his face with one of his own to hers.

Dawn went flying like Dimmu had, the demon chased after her and as Dawn quickly recovered in motion, the two continued trading blows. Dawn and her opponent threw a barrage of attacks at each other. Dawn hit the demon in the face, the chest, she kicked out into the demon's kidneys and stomach, a left hook from Dimmu rocked Dawn's head back before she retaliated with an elbow strike to Dimmu's solar plexus followed by an uppercut to the chin. "Really?"

"YES!" Angered, Dimmu ripped his robe from his body as he roared out and surrounded himself in a field of pure magical energy; the backlash pushed Dawn away. The last thing she saw was Dimmu summoning a big ball of elemental fire in his hand before the demon threw it at her. The ball of fire flew towards its target, Dimmu used his magic to guide it towards the girl he now hated with a passion.

The fireball inched ever closer to Dawn, when she had finally regained control of her momentum, she strengthened her Ki field and roared. "KIAI!" Dawn threw out both of her arms and used her Ki to hold the fireball in place. Dimmu stared wide – eyed as his control over his attack was overridden so suddenly. The fireball hung in the air like a miniature sun as two opposing forces vied for control of it; Dimmu used his magic and pushed, trying to break Dawn's control over the fireball but Dawn pushed as well when she felt her Ki being pushed back by Dimmu's magic keeping the fireball in place.

"How… are… you… doing this!?" Dimmu gritted as Dawn pushed out with her Ki, sending the fireball back to its original owner, Dimmu tried to push back, he tried with all of his magical might, but in the end it was pointless as the fireball, being propelled by Dawn's power overrode the demon's magic and shot back towards Dimmu.

"I'm stronger, that's how!" Dawn roared back, Dimmu's control broke and the fireball sped up faster towards him, he barely had enough time to dodge the attack as he rolled to the right as the fireball sailed past him.

The demon refused to accept it, he couldn't accept it, he wouldn't! He was a child of Tiamat, he was thousands of years old and she was only a mortal, changed or not. There was no way she could beat him. No way!

"BITCH! YOU'RE NOT STRONGER THAN ME!" The demon roared, enraged. Dimmu charged the girl's position, as he reached her he kicked out, aiming for the arrogant smirk on her face with the intent of wiping that smirk off of it. Dawn blocked it, kicked out her right leg which Dimmu pushed aside and then she received a punch to the face from the demon before he punched her again and again, his fist blurring as he used his magic to increase his speed and power. "You're not stronger than me."

And to prove him wrong, Dawn grabbed Dimmu's fist stopping the next punch. Dimmu looked at Dawn, there was a thin line of blood from the corner of her mouth as Dawn applied pressure on the demon's fist and squeezed. "Wanna bet your hand on that?!" Dawn hissed before the pressure she applied increased and the Saiyan teen crushed Dimmu's hand.

"AAAAHHHH!" Dimmu screamed as the bones fractured and splintered, breaking through its flesh as black blood dripped from multiple breaks in the skin. The demon tried to pull his arm back from the Saiyan's grip but Dawn would not let go, he pulled and pulled with what was left of his physical strength but still, Dawn did not let go. Then he punched her with his free hand, Dawn's head rocked back and returned to look at him and still she held on. He punched her again and again and the result was the same, Dawn would not let go.

"I think it's safe to say you lost that bet, don't you?" Dawn asked before she reached out and grabbed Dimmu's other hand and crushed that one as well, making the monster cry out once more; but this time it was a scream of equal parts fear and rage as Dimmu jumped and kicked out with both feet into Dawn's face making her head snap back, hoping that the girl would let go of his crushed hands.

He hoped in vain though as Dawn remained where she was as her head turned back to the monster, her black eyes burned with the rage of a thousand suns and a still grieving sister, Dimmu involuntarily stepped back from her, Dawn's eyes, the look in them, it told Dimmu that the girl was done with him.

'There's no way she… she could be this powerful!' He told himself as he saw Dawn's gaze narrow and a snarl escape from her lips. Dawn dropped the demon's mess of his right hand, a tight grip still holding the left, she pointed her index and middle fingers at the demon, gathered Ki at the tips and smirked. Dimmu felt a trickle of icy cold fear run down his spine as his eyes focused on the tiny ball of energy the girl generated.

"Say hello to your brother's for me."

And then she fired. Point blank and Dimmu's head exploded.

Dawn let out a breath, allowing her a moment's respite when suddenly there was a flash of light from above, looking up Dawn saw that Xander had finished fighting Kusa, she watched as the demon fell to the ground dead with a gaping hole in its chest as Xander turned his attention towards the demon, Umū. She looked around the area for Jenny as well, but Dawn couldn't her, wondering where her friend was Dawn activated her scouter, amazed that the small device had withstood the battle she had with the two demons.

She looked around, Xander's fight with Umū – dabrūtu registering on the devices tiny sensors as the device registered her friend's power level at 5200 as he fired a blast of energy at the demon. Then, the device registered a slow climbing power level high up above the cloud bank; the scouter read 3900 then quickly passed the 4000 mark just before there was a small flare of light from above the clouds and then there was something rocketing down towards the surface and Dawn for moment thought that she heard the wail of a dying scream.

She felt torn, there was still a fight going on and her blood was raging, coursing through her veins yearning to keep fighting, she really wanted to go fight that four – armed bastard with Xander, but she also wanted to go save her sister. She was getting a bad feeling…

"Jenny?" Dawn called as she activated her scouter's transceiver.

"hah… hah… Dawn…what?!" Jenny's laboured voice replied as she waited for the young girl's voice to respond.

"I've killed the two demons I was fighting; Xander's dealing with the four – armed beak freak…"

"Right… then it's safe to say that we're almost done. Go get Buffy's body, we've got this. Besides, I'm not alone up here." Jenny said, Dawn wondered what she meant before she heard Jenny's voice again. "The humans we met on the ship, they're in a ship orbiting Earth and they saw my fight with the demon."

"Well… crap!" Dawn said, putting it succinctly. The last thing they needed right now was Earth's military finding out about the supernatural.

"Exactly. Go, I'm gonna go and help Xander -" Jenny started.

"I don't need help!" Xander's voice shouted through their Scouters as they realised their friend had his communications channel open. "I've got this! Dawn, go save Buffy! Jenny, go with her! Tell the guys what's been going on!" He finished as the two girls heard the demon screaming in the background.

"Xan, are you - " Dawn started to ask.

"Go!" Xander shouted as Dawn could hear her friend and crush tearing something apart followed by the inhuman screams of pain that came over the comms channel and what she heard above her. I told you that I'd rip those arms off and beat you to death with them. One down…" Trusting that their friend had the last demon handled, Dawn willed her Ki field into being around her and took off for Sunnydale at top speed.

"Dawn, I'm on my way! I'll meet you there. I'm gonna smoke these guys!" Jenny replied as the Saiyan teacher responded.

"…Three to go." Xander said to the demon. Umū stared at the arm, at the gaping hole where the arm came from and then back at the arm once more. Shock registered on his demonic features, then anger followed by rage as the demon conjured three bolts of lightning again and threw them at Xander. Xander smirked as he kept hold of the arm, dodging the lightning bolts the Saiyan dove straight for the demon and when he was within reach, Xander swung the arm towards Umū and smacked him right in the monster's beak before he swung the arm and into its gut.

"AAAAHHH!" Umū cried out as Xander grinned then kicked the demon in the face, knocking him straight up, further into the sky before he threw the arm away. Xander chased the demon as Umū passed into the cloud bank, Xander entered the cloud bank, his body being buffeted by high winds and rain, Umū looked up and into the sadistic gaze Xander gifted him before the Saiyan reached out and ripped off another of the demon's arms. "That's two!"

"AAAAIIIIEEEE!" Umū screamed louder as the pain built upon itself as the demon nearly blacked out from it. Umū looked at Xander as he reared his arm back and swung again, this time Umū ducked but Xander quickly brought the arm around and swung down Umū's head. The demon crashed down towards the desert and Xander followed again.

Seconds later, Umū crashed into the ground kicking up dust and sand upon impact, Xander landed beside the creature and Umū turned to stare at him. "Shall we go for three?" Xander asked, grinning maliciously.

"Mer - mercy… please…" Umū coughed out as blood bubbled up from his lungs and up out of his beak.

"Sorry, all fresh out of mercy." Xander said as he walked towards the demon and reached for the third arm.

"PLEASE!" Umū cried out.

Xander stopped and looked at him. "You tried to stop my friend from saving her sister! Why should I spare you?!" The Saiyan teen hissed at the bloody demon.

"We – we were – cough – instructed to… by – by the Powers. The – the Balance… in danger…" Umū started.

"What balance?"

"Everything – cough, cough – the Balance. Good, evil, light, dark… the darkness, it is returning… the Powers feared… the Slayer is the key… mustn't bring her back. Mustn't…"

Xander reached down at grabbed the demon by the neck, Umū felt himself being lifted off of the ground before he stared into the black eyes of his soon – to – be killer. "Do you think we care about the Powers and their Balance?!" Xander asked snarling, his face a rictus of anger, he shook the demon before he pulled it closer to himself.

"Foo – Fools! The darkness…!" The demon tried to speak, Xander clamped his hand further cutting the demon off.

"You think we care? You got in my friend's way…" He said before he raised his arm towards Umū's chest. "… die!" Xander fired a Ki blast at the demon, Umū's eyes went wide with pain as the blast punctured through his body and out the other side; the demon's eyes grew cold and lifeless as its head fell forward, blood dripping from its beak onto Xander's arm before he dropped the body.

"Guys." He called out into his scouter. "It's over."
