Tony made arrangements to take a couple of hours off a couple of hours early from work. So he could be there for Ziva at her doctor's appointment. She had been up most of the night before worrying. She had just gone two weeks ago after being released from the hospital but due to the high risk of the pregnancy they wanted to see her every other week. She would only have the standard amount of ultrasounds unless the doctor wasn't getting a heat-beat or suspected something was wrong. She would just have the baby's heart-beat checked and get her blood drawn. Tony wished that she wasn't so afraid and could be alone when they did the blood-work. He was terrified of needles and it was even worse when he saw somebody getting injected. He would never admit this to Ziva because he was supposed to be the brave one but this whole ordeal was scaring him to death. The idea that his baby could just be gone, this far into the pregnancy, terrified him. He hated not knowing what was going to happen and only having a slim chance of having a healthy and strong full-term baby. He had been so blessed with Sadie but he had also missed the first two years of her life and Ziva wasn't her mother. He wanted a child he could raise from infant-hood who would be his and Ziva's. He tried to be optimistic that morning while he was giving Ziva her breakfast and helping her to the shower. After Ziva was taken care of he woke Sadie up and got her ready for daycare before carrying her downstairs.

"Morning Tony, Morning Sadie." Gibbs greeted.

"Morning Boss." Tony replied.

"Morning Gibbs!" Sadie cried.

"Are you going to need me to pick Sadie up from daycare today?" Gibbs asked.

"No, Ziva's appointment is at four but McGee and Delilah are going to look after her. So unless we get a case I should be home on time." Tony replied.

"OK well just call me if you do. I will probably be out all day so call my cell." Gibbs replied.

"What do you have planned for today?" Tony asked.

"House hunting in the morning, then going to visit Leyla and this afternoon I have to go over and tell Amira about her mom." Gibbs replied.

"Are you bringing Amira home with you?" Tony asked.

"I think so." Gibbs replied.

"I can move Sadie in with Ziva and I. If you want." Tony offered.

"Thanks it should only be for a couple of days. There is a house for sale down the street that I really like. Two bedroom, two bath, and a den that sine it's just me and Amira I may convert into a room for Sadie and the babies to stay in if I ever need to baby-sit." Gibbs explained.

"That's nice but does it have anywhere to do wood working?" Tony asked.

"The basement is slightly smaller but it has an outbuilding I can use for a wood-shop as well. Though I don;t think I will be building many more boats or another cabin if I have a kid to look after." Gibbs replied.

"What about your cabin?" Tony asked.

"Going to fix it up a bit. Don't think I will have electricity in there but I am going to put in plumbing. It's easier with kids if you have a working bathroom." Gibbs explained.

"Can I help?" Tony asked.

"Sure I was actually going to ask you, Abby, and McGee to help but then Jackie and Eli got killed and it became a healing project for us." Gibbs explained.

"I understand." Tony replied.

"Can I help too?" Sadie asked.

"This isn't really a project for a little kid but it is a little drab but I think some of your art-work will make it a lot more homey." Gibbs replied.

"I can do that." Sadie replied.

"That's my girl, now come on or we are going to be late for daycare." Tony replied picking Sadie up and carrying her back upstairs to brush her teeth and finish getting her ready to go.

Gibbs wished that he could be anywhere else but where he was. The only place worse than sitting on Leyla's neighbor's couch waiting for Amira to come home. Was the hospital by Leyla's bedside. She had turned down treatment. The cancer was too advanced and she was simply too weak to fight and endure the torture of chemo therapy. So there he sat waiting to tell an innocent six-year-old that her mother was dying of cancer and would be gone in less than a month. Now that Tony wasn't around with his sensitive soul. He could say this but he wished that he could trade places with Leyla.

"Judy! I'm home!" Amira called bursting through the door.

"Judy's out back but I am here." Gibbs replied.

"Gibbsy what are you doing here?" Amira asked.

"We need to talk come here." Gibbs replied patting his leg.

"What's going on? Is my mom going to have to stay in the hospital overnight again?" Amira asked.

"Yes" Gibbs replied.

"When is she going to get better? I miss her?" Amira asked.

"Amira I really hate to tell you this but your mom is really sick and she isn't going to get better." Gibbs replied.

"What do you mean?" Amira asked.

"Do you remember the disease your grandpa Mike had?" Gibbs asked.

"Cancer?" Amira questioned.

"Yes" Gibbs replied.

"Why?" Amira asked.

"Your mom has cancer in her brain, she is really sick, too sick to get any medicine to make her better. She only has a few weeks left." Gibbs explained.

"Will I ever see her again?" Amira asked.

"Once they get her moved into a special room where she can rest and get the medicine she needs to help her not hurt so much and she can have all the visitors she wants. You may see her." Gibbs explained.

"No I mean after she dies?" Amira asked.

"Yes but not for a long time." Gibbs replied.

"Where am I going to live now?" Amira asked.

"With me." Gibbs replied.

"NO! I knew it! You made her sick so you could have a little girl again! I hate you!" Amira cried jumping up and running from the room.

With Tony and Ziva at the doctors and Gibbs dealing with Amira. It was up to McGee and Delilah to baby-sit Sadie. It had been arranged for several days but McGee was hoping Gibbs would insist on doing it instead or Jimmy would offer so Sadie could play with Emma. He didn't mind little kids but he was always nervous around Sadie. She was Tony's daughter and what if she had his tendency to get in trouble. Delilah kept assuring him that he was worried for nothing but he just knew that something was going to go wrong. Tony and Ziva were due back anytime and him and Delilah were sitting on the back porch watching Sadie play. Gibbs's back door wasn't wheel-chair accessible but McGee had carried her out and set her in one of the lawn chairs. McGee was eating a package of Nutter Butters and Delilah was thumbing through magazine. When Sadie ran up to them and grabbed the box of cookies.

"Hey! I was eating that!" McGee cried.

"Oh come on Timmy you've eaten half the box already let her have a couple." Delilah warned.

"Fine but only two, I don't want to get in trouble for letting you spoil your appetite." McGee told Sadie.

"Thanks Uncle Timmy!" Sadie cried shoving a cookie in her mouth. She chewed for a few seconds then suddenly the box fell to the ground.

"Hey!" Timmy cried not realizing that Sadie was holding her throat and her tongue was sticking out.

"Timmy I think she's having an allergic reaction." Delilah replied nervously.

"Oh shit!" McGee cried jumping up and grabbing his niece on one arm and Delilah in the other. Before racing into the house. Stopping only to let Delilah get into her chair. He dropped Sadie in Delilah's lap and raced out to the car. He flung the girls in the car and tossed the chair in the trunk before speeding towards the hospital. "Tony is going to kill me." He thought the whole time.

A/N: Sadie will be OK but will Tony? Will Amira realize that Gibbs really had nothing to do with her mother's illness? New chapter will be up soon. Please review and thanks for reading.
