Gibbs felt like his heart was going to jump out of his chest. Where had Amira gone? Had she run away? Or worse kidnapped? He should have made her come home with him the night before. He was just starting to get her to calm down the night before when McGee called freaking out about having to rush Sadie to the hospital. If he had just come back last night or earlier today, this wouldn't have happened. What if something terrible had happened to her? How would he tell Leyla that her daughter was dead? When she was lying in a hospital bed dying from cancer. Would he even tell her?

"I called the police and gave a description of Amira. They have alerted all units to be on the look out and are sending officers over." Judy told him.

"I have to find her." Gibbs replied.

Amira ducked around the corner. She remembered what her mom had told her about looking for a police officer if she ever got lost but she didn't want to be found. She wanted to go away. She wasn't sure where. She just knew she didn't want to go with Gibbs. He was the reason her mom was dying. She just knew it. Her mom had been just fine, sure she got a lot of headaches but she was OK. She still got her fed and made sure she went so school every day in clean clothes every day. Then she goes off with Gibbs and ends up staying in the hospital overnight. Then the next day Gibbs shows up and tells her that her mom had cancer.

"Hey little girl! What you doin out here?" A man's voice called.

"I am..." Amira started before remembering her mom's words about never under any circumstances talking to strangers. That would make her plans to runaway harder but eventually she would find somebody she knew that she could trust.

"You what?! Why you not answerin me?!" The man demanded.

Amira tried to run but the man chased after her. She kept running as fast as she could. Maybe Gibbs wasn't so bad after all. He had made her mom sick but at least he would always keep her safe from bad guys.

Tony stood at the kitchen counter preparing a sun-butter and jelly sandwich he was preparing for Sadie's lunch. The doctors wanted Sadie to take it easy that day and stay home from daycare. So Tony was taking the day off to take care of his girls. Sun-butter was a nut free peanut butter substitute Tony had read about on the internet when he was still unable to sleep the night before. Even after his conversation with Gibbs, he was still stressed out about what he had learned about his daughter the day before. So he ended up spending most of the night sitting up in bed on his laptop researching food allergies and substitutes for nut based foods that Sadie could eat. At least with strawberries he could just replace it with grapes or another type of berries. He had also researched what foods had nuts and strawberries hidden in them. He was in the middle of cutting the crust off when McGee burst through the front door. Causing Tony to drop the knife and cut his hand.

"Jesus Christ!" Tony cried out.

"Tony!" McGee cried tearing into the room.

"What is it Probie?" Tony asked, holding his bleeding hand.

"Aw shit Tony what happened?" McGee asked, handing Tony a dish towel.

"I cut my hand when you broke in." Tony replied.

"I am sorry." McGee apologized.

"It's OK as long as you have a good reason." Tony replied.

"I do, Gibbs just called the office. Amira ran away." McGee replied.

"No! I have to find her!" Tony cried.

"Tony you are losing a lot of blood. I think you need stitches." McGee replied.

"I am fine Probie!" Tony snapped.

"Come on at least let Ducky check you out. He is on his way to stay with Sadie and Ziva." McGee begged.

"Fine" Tony sighed.

"Come on Tony you are really pale, you need to sit down." McGee replied putting his hand on Tony's back and leading him to the couch.

Amira looked over her shoulder as she ran. The man was still chasing after her. Why had she run away from Judy's? Gibbs may be evil but Judy and her husband Pat were nice enough. In fact they would probably be the ones to raise her if Gibbs gave up on her and made another girl's mom sick or went to jail for making Leyla sick. She tripped on a curb and fell hard on to a wooden deck. She pulled herself back up and looked around. She had nowhere to go. She couldn't turn around and anything in the opposite directions was eventually water. Except for a small warehouse that was probably locked. She decided to risk it and run for the water. She wasn't the strongest swimmer but at least if she was dead. She would be with her mom and not forced to live with evil Gibbs.

Tony's hand was still bleeding and Ducky had agreed with McGee that he needed stitches. So McGee was taking him to Bethesda and another team was handling the search for Amira. Tony stared out the window of McGee's, Prius. He knew that he wouldn't be much help to the search if he was bleeding all over the place but he would still hate himself if Amira ended up dead because of him. Something caught his eye as McGee drove past the docks. He used his good hand to open the door of the still moving car and took off running towards the water.

"Tony! What are you doing?!" McGee cried parking the car and chasing after his partner.

"Amira! Amira!" Tony cried as he ran.

"I know Tony but Ducky said you need stitches." McGee replied.

Tony ignored his partner's comment about needing stitches and continued to run towards the water yelling the little girl's name. For the second time in his life he dove into the cold harbor after somebody he truly cared for. Except this time instead of his boss and Maddie Tyler, Kelly's best friend. It was little Amira, the grand-daughter of Mike Franks and instead of being trapped in a car she had chosen to dive in and was now drowning. Tony swam out to the little girl and grabbed her. Struggling to carry her and swim back with one of his hands bleeding. McGee was waiting at the dock and took Amira from him before pulling him up out of the water. Tony was shivering and the water and stress to his hand only made the bleeding worse. He was trying to hide his distress from McGee. So they could get Amira back to Gibbs where she belonged. A he failed to suppress a single cough and the next thing he knew McGee was standing beside him, making him sit down on the dock and calling for an ambulance.
