Hi everybody! I'm back from my trip! It was really fun, and it was great seeing my family and knowing that they're...you know..not dead :) Anyway, while I was there, I drafted out the next chapter, so I could post it ASAP.

Thank you again to 'theDreamCatcherxX' for editing the chapter, you're the best. And thank you for adding in the mention of a 'sparta kick' in the last chapter. I had a lot of fun with that. :)

And as always, I unfortunately don't own Percy Jackson OR Harry Potter...yet :). Now let the story commence!

Chapter Five

I jumped up and rushed to the door of the drawing room, only to be stopped by Mr. Weasley, who put a strong hand on my shoulder and pulled me back abruptly.

"I'd assume those are your, ah...demigod friends?" He asked nervously, saying the word 'demigod' as if it were a dangerous thing to say.

I nodded, "We usually call them half-bloods, and yeah, that's probably Percy and Annabeth."

George snorted slightly, half-glancing at his brother Percy, who had been silent until this time.

"What are you going to tell them?" Asked Ron,

"They can't know about the Wizarding World," said Charlie, "that's been kept a secret for...I dunno' how many years."

I bit my lip apprehensively, "I don't know. I really can't lie to them... Are you sure we can't just tell them? They can keep secrets, I swear!" I looked desperately from face to face, but Mrs. Weasley just shook her head sadly, and Bill sighed.

"I'm afraid that's out of the question." He said, "You're going to have to tell them something else." He said this with an air of finality, and I felt another panic attack coming on.

What would I tell them?! I couldn't just say I had told the Weasley's willingly, Annabeth would see right through my lie. And if they did believe me, they would hate me for spilling the secret. I might be banned from camp, or have the spirit of Delphi revoked...I couldn't let that happen. The knowledge of the Greek world was the only thing that kept me from going crazy from my father's constant orders and scolding, not to mention it was the only thing that kept me going at Clarion Ladies Academy.

I couldn't tell them the truth, the Weasley's wouldn't allow me to speak of the Wizarding World, and I respected my family's secrets.

I could tell them the Weasley's had forced me to talk, but no, Percy and Annabeth would hate the Weasley's for that, and who knew what could happen when two demigods attacked a family of wizards?

I gripped my face in my hands, and tried to hold back the forming tears. I was at my wits end; there wasn't anything I could do.

"Oh, poor dear." I heard Mrs. Weasley say. A pair of motherly arms gripped me as Mrs. Weasley hugged me tightly, and I smiled slightly, positive that I would never meet a more caring aunt. Or...not an aunt, a mother's half cousin...I shook my head. Better not to think of the technical terms. Mrs. Weasley was like an aunt, period.

As Mrs. Weasley released me, I took a deep breath, and stood up straight, steeling my nerves.

"I'll just have to tell them I can't say anything about what happened, and that everything is under control." I said, trying to keep sadness from creeping into my voice.

Ron snorted, "Mate, that's not gonna' work. They saw how panicked you were when you sent them that...weird rainbow thingy-"

"Iris message." I corrected,

"And they'll want to know what happened." Finished Ron.

I shrugged, "It's just a temporary fix, but it'll have to do for now."

"Rachel, knowing something is a secret will just make them more suspicious." Said Ginny.

"Well what else am I supposed to say"? I snapped, "I don't care how secret this is, I'm not going to lie to my friends!"

"I don't think-" Percy Weasley was cut off by the doorbell ringing again. This time, more urgently.

"It's the best I can do right now!" I said desperately, before running out of the room to answer the door before one of our maids did. Before I was halfway down the hallway, I heard the whole 'Weasley Clan' thundering after me, and I sighed. I hadn't wanted all of them to present when I explained to Percy and Annabeth that I couldn't say what was going on. That would just make them suspicious.

"Hey Rachel." Said George suddenly, rushing to catch up with me on the stairs, "Your half-blood friends don't, uh, glow, or anything, do they?"

I snorted, "Glow?! Of course they-why would they glow?"

George's ear turned red, "Sorry, I just thought...since these fellows are half god and all, they might..."

I rolled my eyes, "No, George, Percy and Annabeth don't glow." I said, stifling a giggle. But my moment of humor was short-lived as I stopped by the front door, replaced by waves of anxiety. I gulped hard, trying to swallow my nervous feelings. Ginny put an arm around my shoulder.

"It'll be alright, they'll understand." She said, flashing me a reassuring smile. I forced a weak smile back.

"Y-yeah. I know that." I said, feigning confidence, but Ginny just rolled her eyes.

"Rachel, you do realize you're white as chalk, right?"

"I am?" I asked. Well, it made sense. Taking a deep breath, I slowly reached out a hand and swung the front door open.

Let's just say what happened next, I take full responsibility of.

As soon as I opened the door, I barely had time to register Percy and Annabeth standing there before something kicked me hard, square in the face. White-hot pain erupted in my nose, and I yelped, stumbling backwards and clutching my face. My vision blurred, and I could feel warm blood on my fingers.

The small part of my mind that wasn't reeling from pain faintly registered that Percy had been trying to kick down the door, and instead, kicked me.

As I stumbled backwards, Mrs. Weasley shrieked and grabbed me before I fell. Her warm, motherly arms closed around me and dragged me back. She whipped out her wand, and I heard her mutter, "Muffliato".

I could hear shouting from the door.

"Bloody hell!"

"Are you mad?!"

"What the Hades?!"

"Oh my gods, Rachel! I didn't mean to- oh my gods!"

By the time I had pried myself out of Mrs. Weasley's protective arms, Bill, Charlie, George, Ron, and Ginny had formed a semi-circle around me, their wands were drawn while Mr. Weasley tried fruitlessly to calm his children down. Percy Weasley stood behind his father, glaring disapprovingly at Percy and Annabeth.

Percy and Annabeth still stood outside the door. Percy was holding riptide (in its pen form), and Annabeth's hand was reaching for her concealed dagger. Percy's expression looked horror struck, staring at my bloody face with a mixture of shock and guilt on his features.

"Rachel, I was trying to- I didn't mean to-" he stuttered, not finishing his sentence. I hastily placed a hand over my aching nose.

"I-it's not as bad as it seems." I said weakly, "I'm fine."

"What in the world did you think you were doing?!" Mrs. Weasley suddenly shrieked, her face turning bright red, making her hair look like fire. Her eyes gleamed with an anger I had never expected to see in them.

"The poor dear was already emotionally stressed, what did you that for?! Why?! I will personally make sure you will never hurt the poor dear-"

"Molly"! Arthur shouted over his wife's shrieks, "Look at the boy's face! It was an accident!"

Indeed, Percy's face was now chalk-white, and his mouth was slightly open. This seemed to snap Molly back to her senses, and she took a deep breath.

"Uh, Rachel? Are these the…friends you invited over?" asked Ginny cautiously, her hand gripping her outstretched wand tightly.

I pinched my nose to stop the bleeding. "Yeah. And uh…Percy doesn't usually kick people as a greeting." I smiled slightly at the irony of this statement. The first time I had ever seen Percy, he had tried to kill me when I was blowing my nose. Good times.

"It was an accident!" stuttered Percy "I was just trying to kick down the-"

"Just trying to kick down the door?" finished Ginny incredulously, "Oh, of course, that makes everything perfectly alright!"

"Rachel was in trouble!" said Annabeth, her eyes wide.

"Rubbish, Rachel was fine, until you kicked her." retorted George. Percy's eyes widened as he saw George's missing ear.

"Come dear, let me take care of that for you." Said Mrs. Weasley suddenly. I didn't object as she steered me away from the front door and into the parlor, where we couldn't be seen.

"Episky" she said, pointing her wand at my nose. A sharp pain went through my nose, then, the white-hot agony disappeared, replaced by a dull throb. I gingerly touched my nose, to find the bones newly-mended.

"Wow…t-thank you!" I said, smiling at Mrs. Weasley.

"Oh, it's nothing dear." She said kindly, pulling out a handkerchief from her pocket, and wiping the blood off my face.

"They'll notice my nose is mended." I suddenly realized, "They'll want to know how you managed to heal me!"

"Well it's well worth that risk!" said Mrs. Weasley, as if it were obvious. "I wasn't going to sit there while you had a broken bone!"

I smiled a bit wider; Molly seemed to have appointed herself my second mother. Then, I hurried past Mrs. Weasley back to the front door.

Mr. Weasley seemed to have managed to calm all his children down a bit, all the Weasleys had put away their wands, but they were still glaring daggers at Percy and Annabeth. Annabeth's fierce, gray, calculating eyes were scanning all the redheads, taking in all presented information. I could practically see the wheels turning in her head as she saw George's missing ear and Bill's scars, trying to figure out how the two boys had gotten them.

I pushed past my many relatives, followed by Mrs. Weasley, until I managed to get face-to-face with Percy and Annabeth.

"Rachel, how much do they know?" asked Annabeth immediately.

"Um…everything." I muttered, "You guys should come inside." I stepped away from the door, and the couple walked inside, greeted by several glares from the Weasleys.

"Rachel, your nose!" Annabeth suddenly said.

I winced. I knew she would notice. "Um…what about it?"

"It's not broken!" said Percy, his brow furrowing.

"I-well, um…" I took a deep breath. This was the moment to decide. Would I tell them the truth, or keep my family's secret? I looked from the Weasleys to Percy and Annabeth. The redheads were looking at me with wide eyes, and made up my mind.

"I-it was never broken." I lied, "It just started to bleed, but it looked much worse than it was. Mrs. Weasley cleaned it up for me."

Annabeth's eyes narrowed, she didn't believe me. But a look of relief came over Percy's face, and I thanked the gods that he wasn't...er, the brightest guy.

"Thank gods." He muttered, "So…" he glanced uneasily at the Weasleys.

"Um, let's go into another room." I said quickly, "I'll explain everything." I motioned for Percy and Annabeth to follow me into the living room, and shut the door quietly behind me.

"Rachel, what's going on?" asked Annabeth as soon as we were behind a closed door.

"How did they find out?"

"You didn't tell them on purpose, did you?"

"Should we have someone from the Hypnos cabin modify their memories?"

"Guys, I…" I took a deep breath, trying to collect my scattered thoughts. "They know…everything."

"How?" asked Percy and Annabeth at the same time.

I shook my head, "But…that's the thing though. I can't tell you."

For a moment, there was utter silence in the room.

"Rachel, you…why can't you tell us?" asked Annabeth, confused.

"If it's because they threatened you, we can take them easily." Added Percy.

I shook my head, "No, it-it's not that." I said weakly, slumping down in an armchair. "You see…" I took a deep breath. "It's my fault…the Weasleys…when I first saw them, I got suspicious. They didn't seem like a normal family."

Percy nodded, "That one guy, he was missing an ear!"

"That's George." I said.

"Not to mention one of the other boys had a ton of scars on his face, and most likely, his body."

I nodded again. I should have known Annabeth's keen eyes would notice the scars Charlie had gotten from training dragons.

"I noticed all of that too." I continued, choosing my words carefully, trying not to give away too much information. "So I got nosey. I started poking around their personal information, and then, I had an oracle dream. When I told them about what I had seen in the dream, they got…alarmed. They thought I could be a threat, and there was a big misunderstanding. Then the whole secret kind of spilled out…"

Annabeth frowned, processing the information, "If they jumped to the conclusion that you were a threat so easily, it's most likely because they've been through something terrible, and they still have their guard up because of that. Whatever threat they faced must have been recent, otherwise they wouldn't have thought you were dangerous so quickly."

I sighed; Annabeth was already solving the mystery. The child of Athena had already figured out that the family had been through a hard time while the Wizarding War with Lord Voldemort was going on. How much more information could I give away without: A) Risking Annabeth figuring out, or B) flat out lying to her and Percy?

"Did they mention anything about a hard time in their lives?" continued Annabeth, "An attack, or a war?"

She was definitely going to figure it out. "Well…Mr. and Mrs. Weasley did have another son, named Fred." I said slowly, "He was killed very recently, and that might be why they jumped to conclusions about me so quickly."

I felt bad, stretching the truth like this, but it was either that, or letting the secret of the Wizarding World spill.

Percy shook his head, "That wouldn't be enough to make them force the truth out of you. They know you didn't have anything to do with this guy's death."

Annabeth raised her eyebrows, "Seaweed Brain actually said something intelligent!" she said, with a surprised tone.

"Shut up, Wise Girl." Said Percy lightly, punching his girlfriend's arm. I felt a twinge of jealousy, Percy had always loved Annabeth, and I had always just been…well…there. I could never beat Annabeth for Percy's attention; she was beautiful, smart…

Stop it, Rachel! I mentally scolded myself, snapping myself out of romantic thoughts, Percy's with Annabeth, and now that you're the oracle, you can't date! Besides, there are more important matters to deal with right now.

I cleared my throat, "The point is, I got nosey, they got scared, and it was a big misunderstanding. But we've sorted it out, they can keep our secret." I said, with an air of finality. They can keep our secret, and I can keep theirs.

"Rachel…what makes you so sure they'll keep it a secret"? Said Percy, his eyebrows knitting together, "For all we know, they could just go and tell the whole world tomorrow."

I snorted, "First of all, no one would believe them. And secondly…" I trailed off. I had been about to say that they had experience keeping secrets, but that would just make Percy and Annabeth more suspicious than they already were.

"So…it's under control then?" Asked Percy slowly. I nodded, with relief.

"I'll make them swear to River Styx that they won't tell." I said firmly. Annabeth sighed with relief; an oath on River Styx could not be broken.

"So I guess it's alright-"

I didn't finish my sentence, because of an earsplitting scream from outside, followed by a shout from at least five other people.

"Dementors!

Hehehehe, are you dying of cliff hanger disease yet? For some reason, whenever I see a review complaining about a cliffy or begging for me to stop the cliff hangers, it make me feel happy...Oh gods, I'm turning into Rick. Anyway, I hope you liked the chapter, and I hope it made you laugh! I'll try to update soon, promise.
