Tony scanned his boss's empty bedroom. It was still before sunrise and Gibbs and Amira were downstairs helping load things onto the moving truck. He had offered to help out as well but Gibbs had vetoed it. Claiming that "knowing you, you would get something closed on the door to the van or slip off the ramp and bust your head open." Sometimes Gibbs could be more than a little over dramatic. So instead he stood upstairs and trued to figure out what to do with what was now his room. Gibbs had bought a new bed but Tony didn't want to share with Ziva the bed that Gibbs had shared with Shannon and three other woman. He had purchased his own from a local furniture store. Every other piece of bedroom furniture was safe though. Since it was all built after Gibbs's divorce from Stephanie. Apparently the night she left Gibbs went a little crazy with the bourbon and a sledge hammer. Tony was relieved that while his boss still had a deadly temper and tendency to drink when the going got tough. He wasn't the violent alcoholic he had been in the past. OK may alcoholic was over exaggerating but he knew that if Gibbs still lead that lifestyle. He would have lost NCIS years ago and if that didn't kill him losing Amira now would for sure. Tony took one more look around the room. Next weekend Jimmy was taking Sadie for a day out with Emma. So Tony would be free to paint the bedroom. He had selected lavender which was Ziva's favorite color and one of the many that she looked stunning in. He would prefer Ohio State red or a nice light blue but he would paint the room and everything in it hot pink if it meant he got to wake up beside Ziva Elizabeth David every morning for the rest of his life.

"Trucks loaded! Amira and I are going to get a few more hours sleep then move on! You get to work Mr. Team Lead." Gibbs called.

"OK" Tony replied.

"Thinking about what you are gonna do up here?" Gibbs asked.

"Yeah I am painting it lavender and the bed will arrive today after work." Tony explained.

"Ziver is a lucky woman." Gibbs commented.

"Thanks but I am the lucky one." Tony corrected.

"You both lucked out if you ask me." Gibbs replied.

"Sorry you lost all this." Tony apologized.

"Rule Six, Tony! Never apologized." Gibbs reminded.

"So would Shannon be OK with what I am doing to the room?" Tony asked.

"Yes but it doesn't matter. Since you can't really have a say in what the new owners do with the house unless you charge them rent." Gibbs explained.

"About that you sure you don't want to charge me anything?" Tony asked.

"One you are family, two I am set financially and if I ever need cash I can sell my woodworking or do handy man work, three I don't want to keep track of charging anybody rent for the rest of my life. Got it?" Gibbs asked.

"Got it" Tony agreed.

"Hey you want me to take Sadie to daycare? Amira is going to try going back today." Gibbs asked.

"If you feel up to it." Tony replied.

"It's dropping a kid off. It will be fine." Gibbs replied.

"Thanks dad. I'm gonna go say goodbye to my ladies then head off to work." Tony replied.

Tony looked at his computer and scowled. It was five o'clock and he should be at the daycare center picking Sadie up right now. Instead he was stuck at the office, chained to his desk. All because some jackass had opened fire at a restaurant on Quantico. Thank God the shooter was apprehended quickly and only five people were shot. Two were killed, one was critically injured, one had more minor injuries, and another was treated and released. Even so the shooting required the attention of the Major Case Response Team. Because somebody saw another person speed off in a get away car and he or she needed to be caught. Which meant that Tony was probably going to end up work all night and unable to see his girls. Luckily he had Gibbs to pick Sadie up and bring her home. He looked at the picture Gibbs had taken when Ziva first came back. Sadie was sitting on Ziva's knee, out on Gibbs's porch. Both were grinning from ear to ear. Those two had bonded almost instantly and the thought of it always brought a tear to his eyes. The elevator dinged, Tony's head shot up confused. Everybody was up here and Abby and Ducky had already given their reports.

"Daddy!" Sadie cried running over to him.

"Sadie Bear what are you doing here?" Tony asked.

"Gibbs brought me." Sadie replied.

"She begged me and I thought it would be nice to drop by." Gibbs explained.

"OK! She saw her daddy! Let's go!" Amira snapped.

"Amira, just a minute OK?' Gibbs asked.

"Fine!" Amira scoffed.

"Hi, Amira I have a candy bar if you want it." Tony offered.

"No thank you!" Amira hissed.

"She's not doing well today is she?" Tony whispered to Gibbs.

"No she couldn't even walk in the school building. I don/t blame her. I thought it was a little soon but she insisted she was ready to try last night." Gibbs explained.

"Understandable" Tony replied.

"I missed you daddy!" Sadie cried.

"I miss you too baby girl but I have to catch the bad guys." Tony explained.

"I know" Sadie sighed.

"At least he'll be back in a few hours my dad is dead! My mom too!" Amira snapped.

"Daddy?" Sadie asked.

"Come on Amira let's go say hi to Abby." Gibbs suggested.

"Fine!" Amira yelled.

"Why is Amira so mean?" Sadie asked.

"She is really sad, honey." Tony explained.

"How can I make her feel better?" Sadie asked.

"You can't really honey. I am so sorry." Tony replied.
