Tony and Ziva could not believe that their baby girl was about to graduate the fifth grade. It seemed like just yesterday Tony was struggling to drop her off on her first day of kindergarten. Now she was on the way to middle school. Everybody knew it was coming but Tony was still in denial until the day that Sadie came home from school.

"Abba! Ima! I'm home!" Sadie called.

"Did you thank Uncle Jimmy?" Ziva asked.

"Of course I did." Sadie replied.

"That's my girl, anything interesting happen today?" Tony asked.

"We got our graduation announcement." Sadie replied handing her parents the sheet of paper.

"It's only three weeks away." Tony commented.

"We will be there and if one of us can't Grandpa Gibbs will be there." Ziva replied.

"Maybe McUncle could record it?" Tony offered.

"Only immediate family is allowed to attend but I am sure Jimmy will do it." Sadie replied.

"I bet he will but don't stress too much. I am sure we will be able to take a couple of hours off to attend." Tony assured.

"Is there anything you need for the ceremony?" Ziva asked.

"Just a side dish or desert for the banquet afterwards and a baby picture for the slide show." Sadie explained.

"I will make my famous cup cakes." Tony replied.

"Abba we all know you stole the recipe from Grandpa Gibbs." Sadie laughed.

"Well I am still making them and I will get the photo albums down later." Tony explained.

"Thank you Abba." Sadie replied before turning to go up to her room.

Sadie placed the box of photographs down on the coffee-table. It was late at night. Well late for a ten year old. Her mom had gone out for drinks with Abby. Neil and Tyler were on a camping trip for the weekend and her dad was down in the basement. When Gibbs lived there it had been a workshop but Tony had turned it into a man cave. She heard Jack's machines beeping and hissing through the thin wall that divided the living room. She looked through the pictures school portraits from kindergarten up to this year. The picture from her first communion in the second grade. She finally got down to her toddler years. Third birthday, her with Jack for the first time, her and Ziva, her at her parents wedding and a few others from her second year of life. She went back through pictures from her school years and from two to four but nothing before two. She knew that Ziva was not her real mom and that her birth mother lived somewhere out west but that didn't explain why she had no baby pictures. Granted he had been sick and not supposed to survive but why was there a whole box of just his baby pictures but hers started at two? She had seen the photo-boxes. Two labeled Jack but only one labeled Sadie. She shoved the pictures in the box and slammed the lid on top. Before running down towards the basement.

"ABBA! ABBA!" Sadie yelled.

"What is it Sadie? Are you hurt? Is something wrong with Jack?" Tony asked.

"I was looking at my pictures!" Sadie sobbed.

"And what happened?" Tony asked.

"Why are there no pictures of me before I was two?" Sadie asked.

"Well you know that Ziva isn't your mom." Tony started.

"Yes you got married when I was three but the first pictures I was two." Sadie replied.

"There weren't any. You mom didn't take any of you." Tony explained.

"So? Why didn't you take pictures of me?" Sadie asked.

"Here's the thing I didn't know about you until you were two." Tony explained.

"What?!" Sadie snapped.

"Your mom was a short and disastrous relationship. I had and she lied to me and said that you were another man's." Tony explained.

"You know I knew you had made mistakes sleeping around but I thought you outgrew that before I came around! Now I know I am just a mistake! Would you still be sleeping around now if it weren't for me?! Are Ima and Jack just further affects of your mistake?!" Sadie demanded.

"No Sadie it's not like that I..." Tony started.

"What? You wanted Jack but I am a mistake?!" Sadie cried.

"No" Tony argued.

"No I get it Jack is the golden child and I am just a mistake!" Sadie cried.

Sadie ran up stairs into her room and slammed the door. She couldn't believe it. Her dad hadn't even bothered to meet her until she was two and her mom was just a mistake he had made. Which meant that she was just a mistake he had made. Jack was the child he had wanted with the woman he loved and she was nothing. She wondered if her dad even cared about her at all and what had happened to her mom? Why did she leave? Were there really no baby pictures of her or did her dad just not bother to look? Was she only live him and not her real mom because that was the only way he could ever get Ziva back? And get the family he really wanted?

"Sadie?" Tony asked.

"Go away!" Sadie yelled.

"Look Sadie I am sorry if I upset you. Your mother was a mistake. You were not. You were the best thing that ever happened to me." Tony explained.

"Then why did you not find me until I was two?" Sadie asked.

"The l last time I saw your mom she told me that she was expecting another man's child and then she walked out of my life." Tony explained.

"How did you meet me then?" Sadie asked.

"You had surgery to put tubes in your ears and they discovered you had a different blood type than the man your mom said was your father. She was lying to get his money. She contacted me and told me I was the father. I got Abby to run a DNA test and sure enough I was your father. I picked you up that afternoon." Tony explained.

"Where was my mom?" Sadie asked.

"She left you alone in a closet and went out for drinks. She was arrested and in jail for four years. She got out when you were six. I tried to find her see if she had changed at all. All McUncle could find was that she was somewhere out West." Tony explained.

"What was her name?" Sadie asked.

"Sherry Greenberg" Tony replied.

"Can I meet her?" Sadie asked.

"I will have McGee try to find her again but be warned I doubt he has changed." Tony replied.
