Sadie slammed her book closed and threw it onto the coffee table. She was trying to work on a book report but the beeps and hisses from Jack's machine's were driving her crazy. She picked the book back up and ran upstairs. She was sick of having a cripple for a brother. She hated that one of her parents had to stay home with him because Jack couldn't handle large crowds or being around too many germs. His seizures and medical crisis's always came at the worst time possible and it was humiliating that her parents had to bring diapers for her eleven year old brother.

"Sadie don't slam the door you could wake Jack." Tony warned.

"His stupid machines are making it impossible for me to study!" Sadie yelled.

"You cannot hear the machines from up here." Tony reminded.

"I was trying to study downstairs but I could not." Sadie explained.

"Well at least you can study up here." Tony replied.

"Yes but what about when we can't hear the TV? What about when my friends sleep over and nobody can sleep because of his machines. When my sleepovers don't get canceled because Jack has to go to the hospital. What about Ziva missing all my soccer games and you missing my debates?" Sadie asked.

"Sadie I know that Jack's disability and health problems have been hard on you. Trust me but there is not much we can do about it." Tony explained.

"Why can't you just put him in a home?" Sadie asked.

"We thought about it but there is nowhere close enough to us that will take a teenager. They are all elderly and adults. We would have to drive six hours and when we do have to put him in a home it won't be cheap." Tony explained.

"See he is ruining your life too!" Sadie snapped.

"Sadie Christina Gibbs, your brother is not ruining anybody's lives!" Tony warned.

"Yes he is! He is nothing but a burden and I wish that he would just die already! So that we can finally be a normal family!" Sadie yelled turning into her room and slamming the door behind her.

While Sadie was sulking she got a text from Ivy asking if she was still coming out that weekend. She angrily texted back that she doubted it. Ivy had moved Tacoma Park and they rarely got to see each other anymore. It was only a little over half an hour away but it was far enough they were in a completely different school district and they had to coordinate visits. Ivy's mom was usually free but she hated driving and Tony or Ziva worked most weekends and whoever wasn't working had to care for Jack. This weekend was one of the rare occasions where both parents were off but the last time that happened Jack had a seizure and ended up in the ER. She heard the doorbell ring and a few minutes later a knock on her door.

"Come in!" Sadie called.

"Can you please tell your dad that Junior Autopsy Gremlin was cute when we were little but it is kind of gross now?" Emma asked.

"Why is it gross?" Sadie asked.

"Because I know what an autopsy is now!" Emma yelled.

"I will talk to him." Sadie agreed.

"Great do you want to go shopping with me and my dad?" Emma asked.

"What kind of shopping?" Sadie asked.

"We are going shopping for Alison's baby shower." Emma explained.

"Oh that's this weekend!" Sadie cried.

"Yeah but aren't you going to see Ivy?" Emma asked.

"Probably not, Jack is going to get sick again. I tell you Emma I really hope that your little sister is normal." Sadie explained.

"Yeah me too I mean I will love Samantha no matter what but I don't want her to be sick or anything. My dad is already still depressed about Breena and she died years ago." Emma explained.

"I am just sick of everything always revolving around Jack and his disability." Sadie replied.

"That would be frustrating but you really should be nicer." Emma replied.

"Fine mom I will be nicer to my brother. Now let's go before your dad gets angry." Sadie replied.

Sadie followed Emma out to Jimmy's car. The two teenagers slid into the backseat and started talking about Alison's baby shower and all the things they could teach Samantha. They drove to the local baby store and bought bags of clothes, pacifiers and toys. Jimmy purchased a new stroller for the baby as well as a car-seat. The drive home was uncomfortable to say the least. Finally two miles from the Gibbs's house. Sadie and Emma convinced Jimmy that they could walk the rest of the way home. As the girls rounded the corner they were taken aback. They noticed flashing lights coming from down the street. They clutched their purses close to their chests and ran towards Sadie's house. It was an ambulance right outside of Sadie's house. Jimmy was standing on the lawn trying to comfort a hysterical Ziva and Gibbs was consoling Tony on the porch. Sadie ran closer to her house. She studied the crowd again Jimmy, both her parents, and Gibbs. Amira wasn't with the crowd but she wouldn't be she was away at college. That only left Jack

"Ziva, dad what's going on?" Sadie asked.

"Oh Sadie!" Ziva cried running up and embracing her daughter.

"What's going on? Why are the paramedics here?" Sadie asked.

"Jack started having a seizure about an hour ago. The paramedics are working on him but he hasn't come out of it yet." Ziva explained.

"He'll be OK right?" Sadie asked.

"I don't know. He has never taken this long to stabilize." Ziva replied.

Sadie didn't make a sound the entire time that Gibbs drove her to the hospital. Tony had gotten in the ambulance with Jack and Ziva was following behind a break neck speeds. Jimmy and Emma would come by later after they picked up Alison and dropped the gifts off. Gibbs drove painfully slow clutching the wheel and starring straight ahead. Sadie could not believe that she had said such hurtful things about her brother. Yes his disability was an inconvenience for her but it's not like he could help it and he didn't want it that way. She loved Jack and even though it wasn't easy. She could not imagine the world without him. Gibbs parked the car outside the hospital. Sadie jumped out of the car and ran inside while Gibbs was still climbing out of the car. She burst though the sliding doors and found her parents standing in the back of the room clinging to each other for dear life.

"How is Jack? Where is he?" Sadie asked.

"Oh baby girl! Noooo! Why!" Ziva cried.

"Ziva?" Sadie asked.

"Jack died in the ambulance Sadie. They tried to bring him back but his heart wasn't strong enough. I am sorry." Tony explained.

"Jack's dead?" Sadie asked.

"I am afraid so." Tony replied.

"No! This isn't happening! Jack I am so sorry Jack!" Sadie cried falling down on her knees.

A/N: I know that I am going to get a lot of hate for this but I had planned it for a while. Next chapter will be the days after Jack's death and prompt Ziva to make a major decision that will further change the Gibbs's forever. New chapter will be up soon. Please review and thanks for reading.
