CHAPTER 9

CHLOE'S POV

Today I woke up at Beca's, but she wasn't really feeling good so I left her alone and went and laid on my couch. I was being nice and lazy so when I heard someone knock at the door I called for Aubrey.

"Seriously, Chlo?" she groans, glaring at me as she walks to get the door.

"Haha sorry Bree!" I pop up to see who is at the door. Its some kid I've never seen before.

The poor kid just kinda stands there looking at Aubrey. He must be afraid of her, (everyone is, but she's really not all that scary), so I get up and go stand next to her. He seems to relax a bit, not that much though.

"Hey dude, are you okay?" I saw as sweetly as I can, reaching out and putting my hand on his shoulder.

"Yeah, yeah, I'm okay I just didn't know Aubrey would answer the door. I need to talk to you since I'm not sure where Beca stays.."

"Is everything okay?" Aubrey asks him obviously concerned about her friend. Hopefully her talking to him will make him calm down a lot more.

"Oh, yeah everything is okay. Well, for now it is, I hope. Look, I was sharing a dorm with Jesse.. You k now.. Jesse." He looks at Aubrey, obviously knowing Aubrey knocked his ass out with a bat a few days ago.

"Maybe you should come in and sit down, what's your name?" Aubrey ask pulling him in the dorm gently.

"I'm Benji." He says with smile.

BENJI'S POV

I knew I needed to tell Beca or Chloe about what Jesse had said. I don't have a clue where to find either of these girls though. Maybe I can find out from someone around campus.

Okay, so nobody knows where Beca stays, but people know where Chloe stays. Unfortunately, she stays with Aubrey, and honestly, that girl scares the hell out of me. Especially after what I heard she did to Jesse the day he attacked Beca. Guess I should over to their dorm now, hopefully I can get some luck and Chloe will open the door not Aubrey.

No luck today, and I'm just standing here looking like an idiot. I'm so afraid of her, and here she is. What should I say, or do? Uh…

"Hey dude, are you okay?" oh thank god there is Chloe.

Maybe Aubrey isn't so bad, she keeps talking to me as we wait for Beca to get over here so I don't have to repeat this twice. She's actually kind of nice. Pretty too..

BECA'S POV

I just want to sleep, but my phone decides to go off just as I'm about to fall completely.

Chloe: You need to come over to my dorm. Now. Jesse's roommate is here.

What the.. And I m out the door in a matter of seconds running to Chloe's dorm. All the while praying Jesse's didn't put this kid up to messing with Chloe. Ill kill them both if he did. I swear I will.

I round the corner on Chloe's floor, and bust through the door. Forget knocking and waiting in case something is wrong. I look absolutely crazy standing there a little out of breath while the three of them just stare at me.

"Okay…so…what is…it?" I huff between breaths. Chloe pats the seat next to her so I walk over and sit down and look at the boy sitting across from me.
