AN: I'm sorry this is such a short chapter, particularly after such a long break in posting. I'm really hoping that the next chapter will be ready in the next couple of days (and be much longer), but I have finals coming so no promises.

Still in the Forbidden Forest

Before they had gone much further, they heard something following them. The friends subconsciously moved closer together just before the wolves ran off, disappearing further into the forest. Moments later, Hagrid came through the trees, followed by Percy. "Tonks, what have I told you about leading first years inta the Forest?" Hagrid asked, glaring at the Hufflepuff.

"I know, I'm not supposed to. But Charlie had Quidditch practice, so I can't show them around the castle!" Tonks protested, pouting.

"That's no excuse. I ought to write yer mother about this," Hagrid scolded, waving his umbrella around. It was around this time that he noticed Angel. "Oh, so you're goin' here now? Didn't realize it had been that long. I remember when you were just a little baby, no bigger than my hand. Have ya been livin' with your da all this time? Didn't think yer ma had told him 'bout ya yet…"

The group of students stared at Hagrid, bewildered. "You know Angel?" Fred said, interrupting Hagrid. "What? That's not Angel, that's…" Hagrid looked as though he were trying to finish the sentence, but couldn't. "Bugger, they musta done a Fidelius. Suppose Angel's a good enough name for now. Well, come on, let's get out of the Forest. Won't turn you in to any of the teachers, since classes haven't even started yet, but I will if I have to chase you lot out of the Forest again."

The group obediently followed Hagrid out of the Forest, still stunned by the fact that Hagrid knew Angel. Angel didn't seem to remember him, but it was still a start.

AN: Review? Please? I don't know how to improve my writing if you don't tell me.
