And therefore is winged Cupid painted blind."

The Rewritten
"Found you."
His eyes were hungry. He grabbed her hands, pushing her against the wall as he pressed his lips against hers. Raeyna stood, numb. Terrified and enraged, she bit down on his lip with all her force. Tom yelped in pain as he stepped away from her, blood dripping down his lips. He smiled coldly. "I won't tolerate your behaviour as of late. I'm afraid I'm going to have to punish you." He unraveled his fist, revealing a box cutter. "Come here." he ordered, as he pulled her forcefully towards him. She whimpered and cowered away from him in fear, tears streaming down her face. "Hand." he whispered tickling the inside of her ear. She extended her hand, pleading and apologising, but to no avail. "Tsk, tsk. I have no choice now, perhaps you should have learned your place beforehand."
Closing her eyes, she feels the cold blade slice across her skin. For every cut she sheds a single tear - five, six… ten… She has lost count. Darkness is closing in around her. "Don't worry, there won't be any scars. I'll heal them, just like I did the last time." he murmurs, gently kissing her forehead. "I always take good care of what is mine."
"Mommy, Daddy! Please you have to believe me! He touches me in weird places and he hurts me! He hits me and cuts me and smacks me and kicks me and throws stuff at me and he chokes me and drowns me, because he says it's my fault and that I have to take responsibility for what I've done! But I'm really scared! I don't know! I can't remember what I've done!"
A girl stands in a dark and empty hallway. She looks at the paintings on the wall, admiring them with teary eyes. She stares at each of them and wishes that she too were one, cold, lifeless and devoid of a conscience. This is the ultimate fate, she thinks, for when you die, you are nothing more then the remains of your bones and maggot infested flesh.
She awoke with a jolt. The harsh winds had misted the compartment windows, hiding whatever lay before her. Her eyes flicked to her right and she was met with a pair of cold, blue eyes, staring unrelentingly into her own. "You're awake." he drawled, rolling his eyes skyward. She tilted her head in response. Memories of the past hour played in her conscience. Raeyna cowered away, hiding her frightened expression beneath a curtain of full, red locks. "I had no choice." he muttered, glimpsing her trembling lip, "You left me no choice." Out of the corner of her eye, the girl witnessed, very briefly, a look of what she suspected to be remorse, flashing across Tom's face. But it was gone just as soon as it had appeared, and he was left yet again, stony faced and unfeeling. A world of silence emerged between the two, absorbing them in it. After what had seemed like an hour, Raeyna began to speak. "Why do you heal them then? Wouldn't it be greater a punishment to leave them to be noticed? For me to be humiliated?"
He stared at her, awestruck. "Of course not," he scoffed, "they would just send you to a nasty place, far away from me, and I won't let anyone take you away." The girl mulled over his words, the sentiment had been sweet but the context in which it had been said, was crude and possessive. "So…. You forbid me from talking to the boy I met?" she questioned, her eyes full of longing. A kind of longing to which she just recently been exposed to, the longing for a friend. Tom was not her friend, no she had known this for a while, she was his doll. His to play with, to share, to spoil, to hide, to dress, to hurt and to worst of all…. Break. It was a game of dress ups. He would hurt her, and then mask her pain and scars with dresses and gowns. Yet once he had became bored, there would be no more dresses and no more gowns. Nothing but her humiliation, shame and scars, umasked and left for all to see.
Tom cleared his throat to break the girl out of her momentary daze. "You cannot see him, I forbid it. He's not good for you anyways. You have me mon cherie, I am all you need." Hiding her disappointment, she forced a smile, "Of course." And inside, shielded by her iron rib cage, her little doll-like heart, began to crack…
The rest of the train ride was dull and uneventful. Raeyna avoided contact with the boy, tracing the outline on her wrist, where her scars would have been. "I-I have to go put on my school attire, I promise I won't be long Tommy!" she remarked, grimacing at the sickeningly sweet and familiar nickname. He brushed her away, wordlessly excusing her, wholly immersed in his muggle novel. She slid the compartment door open and made her way to an empty one to change in. The school attire had already crumpled slightly in the duffel bag she had been given, so she pressed her palms against the fabric in a vain attempt to smooth it out. But the fabric persisted to wrinkle even as her palms turned bright red from the friction. It was to no avail. She clenched her fist in fury and beat the compartment door in blind rage, tears streaming down her flaming cheeks. "I'm not a doll! Why can he not understand this? Can he even feel guilt or remorse or any emotion at all? He's not even human, he's an animal! A horrible, monstrous animal!" she wailed, pulling at her hair in frustration. "Why did I e-" she paused mid-sentence, apparently recalling her surroundings.
Red-faced and shameful, she slid quietly out of the compartment, hoping to walk back to Tom's compartment unnoticed. Sadly, she realised, today was not her day. Two boys emerged from a compartment, both alike in stature - tall and lithe, with their noses upturned in pride. The taller of the two, bore baby blond locks which swayed at his slim waist and a somewhat albino complexion. The other boy was completely dissimilar in colouring, his bronze hair curling under his ear and his skin a rich coffee colour. Eyes wide, Raeyna buried her face in her duffel bag, avoiding their somewhat unnerving gaze and any further contact. They brushed past without a word, murmuring to one another as they continued down the seemingly endless corridor. Once they were out of sight, Raeyna unfroze herself and raced down the corridor. Clutching her breast and panting heavily, she slid the door open, slamming it in her wake. She sank with a sigh of relief onto the bench, unaware of Tom's unexpressive gaze. "You took your time." he observed, not unkindly. Raeyna stared at the wooden planks beneath her feet and swallowed. "I'm sorry, I lost track of time…" They sat there in silence, neither of them willing to break it. All of a sudden, the silence was broken not with the voice but with a single touch. Tom's hand rested on the crown of Raeyna's head, gently ruffling it. The girl froze beneath his touch, shocked to the core. Slowly, her shoulders sank and she relaxed beneath his touch. "I'm… I apologise, I overdid it…" he admitted, glancing away. "Y-You cut me… I was so afraid… Why? Tom, please, don't hurt me anymore." she whispered, her voice trembling as tears clouded her vision.
He removed his hand from her hair and looked away into the distance. "I won't. I was testing out this theory I had in relation to scarring. I apologise, I lost my temper and ended up hurting you." he relented his eyes pleading for her forgiveness. Regaining her composure, she shook her fiery red mane. "I can't trust you, I'm sorry. There's something almost inhumane in the way you behave. You bloody cut me Tom! Saying sorry cannot make me forget! The deed has been done before. Why do you insist on breaking me?" she raged, pointing at his chest, with newly found confidence. Tom merely watched, as she stared at him, her eyes morphing into a shocking red. "You'd believed that I'd forgive you? Then you're more ignorant then I gave you credit for!" she lunged at him, her fingers curled in a claw-like position. He restrained her as they both toppled onto the compartment floor, she on top of him. Ice blue eyes met warm chocolate brown ones. Flushed and fully aware that they were in an awkward position, Raeyna attempted to scramble back onto the bench. Tom reached out, pulling her back towards him by the wrist. Taking advantage of her momentary shock, he quickly brought his lips to her's. Mumbling her protests against his lips, she closed her eyes and kissed him back. Something wet ran down her cheeks as they kissed, and once they had broken apart, Raeyna froze. They were not her tears, but Tom's. He stared at her, his eyes emotionless, but the tears were nonetheless - his.
The boy cleared his throat, looking away awkwardly. With a certain sort of resignation, Raeyna realised that this would be the closest she would ever get to see Tom being remorseful. She cupped his smooth cheek and turned his face to her's. "I can't forget… But I can forgive…" she murmured, biting her lip.
This a most ugly love. They are both aware of it's hideousness. An ugly love can only have an ugly ending.
The girl's red hair whips past her smirking face. "Little bitch wants to play hide and seek. I call it." She reaches out into what lies beyond the open window as goosebumps stretch across her pale skin. Her palms sweaty, she flicks the wand nervously, in her fingers. "Redemption…" she mutters over and over again, as if it is a prayer.
Well, how was that for a rebound? I know you guys are probably like what the heck what is she thinking, let me explain. These are two bad people. It's not just one bad person in this case, Tom. She herself also has a taste for blood and gore, don't forget that. However, she is bad by circumstance, unlike Tom who is probably better defined as bad by nature or choice. So essentially these are two young children who are seriously unstable. But as the story progresses they'll become more hinged XD So no worries, Raeyna is a sweet girl at heart, she'll get better ^-^
Love, Helerine~
