It was morning.
Craig woke up and smiled at Crescent, still asleep. He formed his sword and instantly smiled. "Great." He said he jumped out of bed, sword still in his hand. "I'll name it the Stormcloud." He thought quickly. He walked to Lisia's room and opened the door.
She was still asleep on the bed, slightly drooling. Her Altaria was next to her, awake and looking around. It noticed Craig and it flew to him. It chirped something and Craig took a knee. He carefully rubbed Ali's head and it closed its eyes and smiled.
He stopped and looked at Lisia. "Let's wake her up." Craig said quietly. Ali nodded and Craig slowly crawled next to Lisia. "On the count of three." He mouted to Ali. It nodded and Craig slowly counted. "Three!" He shouted. He smashed his blade against the bed frame and a loud change sounded. At the same time Ali realeased a big pitch voice, disarming voice.
Lisia woke up with a yell and covered herself. Once Ali and Craig stopped Lisia peeked above the sheets. "Aww did you really have to do that!" She wined. Craig shrugged. "I'm sorry." He said nodding slightly at Ali. It nodded and said. "Alialialiali." Ali said.
Lisia seemed to calm down and understand. Craig made Stormcloud dissapear and it flashed away with a flurry of wind. He sat on the bed and Lisia sat up. "But are you alright?" He asked her. "What do you mean?" She asked curiously. She put her hair behind her ear. "About... Yesterday." He said.
"Oh... Yea, I'm fine." She said. "You sure?" Craig asked. Lisia pushed him lightly. "Cmon, you know I am." She said. Craig laughed and stretched. "Well... get ready, we start of at Santalune city." Craig said.
"Alright, I'm gonna get ready, I'll see you in a few minutes." Lisia said. Craig left her room and he shook crescent awake. Crescent looked at him and yawned. "Cmon girl, we have to get on the road." Craig said.
Crescent nodded and got up. She walked to the living room and sat down. Lisia then came out of her room and looked at Craig. "How do I look?" She asked. She wore a red skirt with a black and white top, showing her mid-section. Craig nodded and smiled at her. "Lookin' great!" Craig said.
Lisia smiled and did a peace sign with her fingers. "Ali Ali!" Ali said. Craig smiled and Crescent looked up at Lisia. "Ready to get on the road?" He asked. Lisia smiled. "Yeah, let's go." She said.
... On the Road ...
Craig and Lisia got on the road, letting their partners walk with them. Unfortunately for Lisia, a crowd gathered around her. "Lisia! Can I get your autograph!" Someone said. "Back off!" Craig shouted.
"Who are you to tell us that?" A man said. "My best friend." Lisia said. "And back off, I want a break from doing contests." She said. The crowd dispersed and Craig sighed.
"Are you used to this?" He asked. Lisia sighed and Ali dropped its head. "Yea, it's one the bad things about being popular, you barely get any personal space." Lisia said. Craig stepped back. "But you give me privacy at least." She said.
... Santalune City ...
The group has arrived at Santalune city. "We are here!" Craig said. He sat on the fountain and Crescent sat next to him. Lisia sat on his other side and Ali got on her lap and sat down.
"Alright, they have many things here... What should we do first?" Lisia said. A roller skates blazed past them. "How about roller skating?" Craig said. "I don't know how to." Lisia said. "I can teach you." Craig offered.
Lisia sighed. "I guess it's worth a try." She said. Craig smiled and looked around. "I believe there is a skating rink around here somewhere." He said. A girl walked up to them. "Skating rink?" She asked.
Craig nodded and the woman thought for a second. "The rink is down that road, turn a left and the rink should be first on the right." She said. Craig smiled and nodded. "Thank you, cmon Lisia." Craig said.
He and Crescent ran down a road. The girl stopped Lisia. "Hey, are you Lisia?" The girl asked. Lisia gulped and nodded. "Yes?" She said. "Nice to meet you, I hope you challenge my gym soon." The girl said.
Lisia blinked once and smiled. "I will, prepare to taste defeat." Lisia said. "I don't intend on losing." The girl said. They both laughed and Lisia followed Craig, waving good-bye to the girl.
Craig recalled Crescent and entered the rink. Lisia let her Altaria stay out. She then entered the rink and waved at Craig. He waved at her and got a pair of roller blades.
He gave one pair to Lisia and they put on the blades. But when Lisia stood up she tripped and Craig quickly caught her hand, standing on his added accessory, used to make sudden stops with easy balance.
"Gotcha." Craig said. He pulled her up and she stayed up for a little. Craig got on his wheels and skated back a little. "Cmon, you have to get on the rink, it will be great." Craig said. Lisia struggled to skate and Craig helped her.
He put a hand on her shoulder and led her inside the rink. He then let go and started to skate around the rink. When he turned he saw that she was on the ground and trying to get up, with Ali helping her.
Craig skated to her and helped her up. "Do you need help?" He asked. "Uh, yes?" She asked. Craig stepped back a little. "Cmon then, I might as well teach ya." Craig said. He led her to the center of the rink.
"Ok, to start you want to kick off your blades." He said. "Like this." He leaned his blades slightly and kicked off. "Now you try." Craig said. Lisia did so, though a little shaky. "Nice, you got it!" Craig said.
"Now, we have to work o turning, and that is the basics." Craig said. "I'm not sure I can..." Lisia said. Craig grabbed her hand and led her out of the middle. "Cmon, let me show you." He said.
He skated around the corner and put one foot in front of the other in a small circle. "See? Now you try it." Craig said. Lisia did it perfectly. "Wow, you are a fast learner." Craig said. "Ready to start skating for real?" He said.
"Yup, I'm ready." She said. "Alialiali!" Altaria said. They started to skate and Craig grinned. "My cue." He said. He started to speed up. "Hey wait up!" She called. "Ali?" Altaria said.
She started to speed up and she met his pace. "Impressive." He said. "Thanks." Lisia said. "Want something more challenging?" He asked. "Sure, bring on anything!" She called. "Altaria!" Ali said. "Alright, but I warned you!" He said. He skated faster and stopped at the control booth.
"Alright, Alright, time for the challenge course!" He said. A few cheers went around. He pressed a button and skated to Lisia. The course changed. Lisia dodged a raised bar.
"What did you do!" She yelled. "It's a kalos special, only kalos offers a rink in each gym that have a certain specialty course, this is the challenge course." Craig said. Lisia still looked undetermined.
"Cmon, it'll be fun!" Craig said. He grabbed her hand and turned around and started to skate backwards. "Trust me, you'll enjoy it!" He said. She looked in his eyes and nodded. "I'll give it a try." She said.
... A few hours later ...
Craig sat on a chair, exhausted. Lisia, however was still on the rink, enjoying the new course, the skater's course. "Cmon Lisia!" He called. "Alright, alright, I'm coming." She said.
Ali sat next to Craig, exhausted from flying. "Do you want anything to eat?" Craig asked. "No!" She said. "But we've been here for hours!" Craig said. "Alright, alright... Let's check out the door court." She said.
Craig let out Crescent and they walked to the court. "I would like a burger please." Craig said. "I would like an ice cream sundae!" Lisia said. "And some Pokemon food for our pokemon." They added.
They sat at a table and Craig put his head on the table. "You wanna get a room after we eat." He asked. Lisia was about to object before she realized she was tired. "Sure." She said.
As if on time, the food came. "Here you guys go." Craig said. He gave Crescent a bowl of food and Lisia had a bowl to Ali. They then looked at each other and started to eat their food.
They took q bite and smiled at each other. "Good huh?" Craig asked. "Mm hmmm!" Lisia said. They soon finished their food. Craig noticed Lisia's eyes started to droo.
"Tired huh?" Craig said. Lisia half-responded. "I'll take that as a yes, let's get a room." Craig said. "Ready to go guys?" Craig asked the pokemon. They nodded and the group left the rink.
Craig saw that Lisia was having a hard time standing up. "Here, lean on me, you look really tired." He said. "Yea... Thanks..." Lisia said. She leaned on Craig and smiled. Craig led her to a Pokemon center and got a room for the night.
He led Lisia into their room and led her to a bed. Lisia then got up. "Lemme change into my sleeping clothes..." She said with a strange note in her voice. "Alright." Craig said. She went into the bathroom and changed.
She walked out and Craig turne briefly red. She was wearing pajama pants and a bra. Craig led her to a bed and she layed down. "Thanks." She said. Ali then flew and layed next to her. "Good night." She said. "Good night." Craig said. Lisia then opened her eyes and sat up.
Craig led Crescent to a room and they layed down on a bed. Crescent sat at the foot of a bed and went to sleep fast. Craig layed down and tried to clear his mind and go to sleep.
But something bothered him, and he did not know what it was. He saw a radio and turned it on. He lowered the volume and smiled. He then heard a knock at his door. He got up and opened it.
It was Lisia. She tilted her head and smiled. "Can I come in?" She asked. Craig nodded and she walked in. She sat on a chair. "What are you listening too?" She asked.
"It's a song called Paradise." Craig said. Lisia nodded. "It's pretty nice." She said. "Um... Do you need something from me?" Craig asked. Lisia looked up. "Oh yeah, sit right here." She said.
Craig sat on a chair facing her. "I just wanted to say thank you, the journey is pretty fun so far." She said. "Ah, you are very welcome, and you seemed to enjoy skating." Craig said.
"Yea, I liked skating a lot, I'm almost better than you!" She said. "Hm, almost." Craig said. They looked at each other for a second then laughed. Lisia then yawned. "You should get some sleep, we are going to challenge the gym tommorrow." Craig said.
"Alright, but first." She said. Craig got up, confused. Lisia walked over and gave him a tight hug. Craig flared red and Lisia stopped. "See you tommorrow." She said. She turned her head and puffed her chest out, putting her hands back.
"See you tommorrow." Craig said. Lisia then walked to her room. She layed down on her bed and gigged, waking Ali. "Ali?" Ali said. "Don't worry, get some sleep." She said. Ali nodded and went back to sleep. "Thanks Craig!" She said.
Craig layed down and listened to the ending of paradise. He then turned off the radio and went to sleep, but he couldn't get the image of Lisia out of his mind.
