Last Time on Iron Heart Alchemist
"What'cha talking about Sannin?" Naruto said as he raised an eyebrow.
"Naruto, I'm the woman you were looking for. My first name is Riza. When I went to met you at Pinako's, Winry handed me a letter with my name on it. It's how I figured out you were Minato's son."
"Of course she did." Naruto said as he sat back down on the couch.
"Now that the mushy stuff is over. For your mission, Iron Heart, you're going back."

"Back, back where? Dublith? Resembol? You need to be a little clearer." Naruto said looking at the raven haired man.
"To Konoha." The three adults in the room said at the same time. At this, Naruto started to laugh.
"Oh, you were serious." Naruto said when he caught the look on their faces. He then started to laugh harder.
"I don't see what's so funny." Roy said looking at Naruto.
"Let me fill you in, first all the villagers would give me hateful looks, and I didn't know why. I was looked down upon like I wasn't even worth people's time. Most thought I wasn't. I only had one friend. I was miserable there and you want me to go back?" Naruto said as he looked at Roy.
"What about what you said in the interview? You said you would follow orders. Well this is an order." Roy said as he looked at the younger male.
"That was before I knew you were going to send to Konoha."
"It shouldn't matter where it is I'm sending you."
"You're right, it doesn't matter, because the night I left I was told I could never come back. So how do you suppose I get in?"
"Though the front gate as Naruto Uzumaki."
"Not possible."
"Actually it is. Here is a letter to from the Hokage stating that your name is clear of any and all charges." Jiraiya said as he handed the paper over to Roy.
"Charges, what charges?" Hawkeye said as she took the paper.
"One count of tempering of evidence, one count of murder, 36 counts of vandalism, 102 counts of breaking and entering. What's with the 36 counts vandalism? And, why is the breaking and entering three times as high as the vandalism?" Jiraiya said from memory.
"A third of it was for research, and a third was the prank it's self."
"And the last third?" Roy asked looking over Hawkeye's shoulder.
"That friend I mentioned, he was from a huge family. They didn't like the fact we were friends. Every time one of them saw me, they would call the cops, and I would flee. Only his older brother liked that we were friends. In fact sometimes he would cover for him so we could meet."
"With murder on the list, and you're worried about the B&E!" Hawkeye shouted at the males.
"Wait, there was murder on that list! Give me that!" Naruto said as he grabbed the paper in Hawkeye's hands. "Who's murder?"
"Um well, you see..."
"Who did they think I killed?"
"Uchiha."
"A member from Sasuke's family. Which one?"
"Naruto..."
"Which one?"
"Sasuke"
"That's bull shit and you know it!" Naruto shouted as he pointed at the white haired man. He sat down back
"Naruto calm down. Now, who's Sasuke?" Hawkeye said as she gotten down to Naruto's level.
"Sasuke was the friend I was talking about. Why would … who would …. damn it all!" Naruto said he pushed Hawkeye aside and grabbed the folder with his mission in it, he made to leave the room.
"And where do you thing you're going?" Roy said as he stood up.
"To get some answers! Is there more, or can I leave now, sir?" Naruto said as he opened the door.
"Just read what's in that folder." Roy said as Naruto walked out without a second look. Naruto got to the lobby where his brother were waiting for him. It was Al who saw him first.
"Hey Nar, where are you headed?" He asked when he saw him.
"You don't want to know." Naruto said as he waited for his brothers to stand so they could leave.
"And why is that?" Ed said looking at the folder in Naruto's hands.
"Because he can't say. Who is the tin man, and the pipsqueak?" Jiraiya said as he walked up behind Naruto.
"Who are you calling so tiny that he need not fear being crushed by a boot because he fits so easily between the grooves of the sole?" Ed shouted at the stranger.
"Ed, shut the hell up! This is not the time or place." Naruto said in a calm voice.
"Who's this?" Al asked looking at the white haired man.
"His name is Jiraiya, and he was just leaving." Naruto said as he looked at Jiraiya.
"He's right, Naruto we must be off. We are headed to Konoha." Jiraiya said as he walked past the brothers, and out the door. Leaving the boys to follow after him. Once they got to the train station, the boys found out that the train to Resembol, and The Boarder were on the same train.
"When the train stops at Resembol I'm getting off with my brothers." Naruto said looking the the white hair male.
"No." Jiraiya asked looking out the window
"There is nothing you can do or say that is going to change my mind."
"Why do you stop there so badly?"
"I need to see my automail mechanic." Naruto said as he put on a pair of black gloves.
"No."
"I need to go."
"Why?" Jiraiya asked as he looked at the blonde boys.
"Because, she is someone I have to see. I have to tell her that I will be gone for a while. So she won't worry about me."
"She? So your mechanic is a female. OK we'll get off." Jiraiya said looking at Ed. Ed, after seeing Naruto, put on his own white gloves.
"That's it? You find out that our automail mechanic is a female and now it's OK to stop." Naruto said looking out the window.
Smack him if he says that he is doing for research.
Why? What's so bad about research?
It's not really research.
Then what is it?
Think about it, your a smart kid.
Oh, OH, that's just wrong!
"-search. I can't wait to meet her."
"Listen here you dirty old man. If you ever touch, peek, breath, or even think about doing any of the following, not only I, but my brothers will beat you down, Alchemist style. I don't even want you speaking to her." Naruto said to Jiraiya. Naruto then pointed to Ed who was seating across from him. Ed had his hands in a fist and was ready to jump on Jiraiya. (Naruto and Jiraiya were sharing a seat while Ed and Al were sitting across from them.) Jiraiya looked at Naruto and he could have swore that he saw his eyes flash red.
Two Days Later in Resembool
The three boys and Jiraiya got to Rockbell automail. At the sound of the four coming up to the house, Den started to bark. At the sound of the noise, Pinako came out to see what he was barking at.
"Winry, They're back, and they brought a guess with them." Pinako yelled in to the house as Den ran to Ed and knocked him down. Winry came running out of the house and jumped on Naruto. At that moment the phone in the house. Pinako left the kids to answer the phone.
"So, how did the two of you do?" Winry said as she got off of Naruto and helped him up.
"Win, how many times have to tell you not to do that?" Naruto said as he dusted himself off. At the same moment Al was pushing Den off of Ed.
"And how many times do I have to tell you, you have no say in the matter. As long as you life is mine, I can do as I please. Just answer the question mister gloom and doom." Winry said looking at the blond boy who gave her an amused grin. He just held up his watch and she tried to make a grab for it.
"Don't even think about it gear head. This thing cost more then my life." Naruto said as he put the watch in his pocket.
"Isn't the saying 'cost more then your life'?"
"That's what I said, cost more then my life."
"No you alchemist freak its-"
"Well aren't you two close." Jiraiya said making the kids remember he was there. "And what was the bit about you life being hers?"
"The day we met he almost drowned, I saved his life. He owes me, and Ed, a life debt." Winry said as Pinako came back outside.
"Ed, the phone is for you." The elderly said as she looked at the white haired man. After hearing that Ed ran inside. "Hello Jiraiya, it's been a while."
"Hello Pinako. How is your son?" Jiraiya asked once he saw the looks on the group, he knew. "Oh, sorry. How did it happen?"
"My parents died doing what they loved. But, how do you two know each other?" Winry said as she took in the sight of the white hair man.
"Pinako, Hohenheim, and myself were drinking buddies. I met them when I picked up a child from this side." Jiraiya said looking at the group.
"You know my father?" Al asked.
"Don't let Ed find out. You'll be on his shit list for sure." Naruto said as Ed came out the door. "Speak of the devil."
"Hey Al, we have a mission. We're heading to Youswell in the morning." Ed said looking at the youngest boy.
"I guess we all be leaving tomorrow." Jiraiya said looking at the group.
"Wait you're leaving again?" Winry asked looking at the males.
"Yeah, Jiraiya and myself weren't suppose to get off the train. But, I had to come and tell you that I will be leaving for a while." Naruto said looking at his mechanic.
"Oh, well were are you heading?"
"The other side." Naruto said in a low voice, not daring to look at anyone.
"Naruto." Winry "Look at me Naruto." Naruto lifted his head to meet her blue eyes. "How long?" Naruto made a mumbled something. "I can't hear you."
"I said, I don't know."
"Oh." was all Winry said as she walked backed into the house.
"That went well." Jiraiya said
"Come on Jiraiya, I'll show you where you sleep to night, oh and Den will be on you like white on rice. Oh, and boys, I'll be making stew tonight." Pinako said as the two went inside, leaving the brothers alone.
"So tonight is going to our last night together." Ed said as he looked at his brothers.
"Yeah, so lets enjoy it, K" Al said looking at Ed.
"But first, can we go visit mom?" Naruto asked looking past the house.
"Yeah." Ed and Al said at the same time. With that they headed off.
Later That Night After The Sun Set
Naruto had shuck out of his room and walked down to his old house. He walked in and went straight to Hohenheim's study. Someone had cleaned up the mess that fateful night.
What are we doing here Kit?
Something that mom told us once got me thinking that's all.
It's about that door, isn't it?
Yes, I wonder why she didn't want us to go into that room.
So you're going to break in to find out why.

Naruto walked to the door that was always locked. He added some chakra to his foot and kicked it down. Inside was just a normal closest. The only in the closet was a brief case on the top self. Naruto took it to the desk and opened it. Inside it was a small journal. Once he opened it he saw the words 'To my beloved sons' flipping though it, Naruto saw that they were research papers.
"Still sneaking out at night. I thought you outgrew that." a voice said behind Naruto. He turned around to see Ed and Al standing in the doorway.
"And I thought you two outgrew following me." Naruto said with a small smile on his face.
"So is that why mom never let us open that door?" Al said pointing to the book in Naruto's hands.
"Yeah and it's addressed to the two of you." Naruto said as he handed it to Ed. Ed took one look at it, thew it into the trash can. He then started looking through the desk. Once he found what he was looking for he walked back to the trash can.
"Ed, what are you doing?" Naruto said trying to see what Ed was holding.
"I don't need it." Ed said as he sowed his brothers the book of matches he found in the desk.
"And either do I." Al said as he grabbed the matches, lit one, and threw into the trash can with the journal.
"What the hell is the matter with the two of you?" Naruto asked as he made a grab for the burning book. Instead he knocked over the trash can, causing the near by chair to catch fire.
"Nice going going Nar." Ed said as he looked at the burning chair.
"Me, it's because the two of you that this happened in the first place." Naruto said looking at Ed
"Can we just but it out, please." Al said looking for some to dose the flames.
"I've got a better idea." Ed said as he grabbed a leg of the burning chair and held it like a torch.
"What are you doing?" Al asked looking at the home made torch.
"Something we should have done the day we left with teacher. Are you thinking what I'm thinking?" Ed said looking at Naruto. Naruto grabbed a different leg.
"Oh yeah." Both boys took off running though the house setting it ablaze. Al shrugged his shoulders, grabbed his own chair leg, and went to help his brothers.
Five minutes later the whole house was on fire, and the three boys just watching it burn. Once the building was nothing more then a pile of ashes the boys returned to the Rockbell household. Once they got back they found Jiraiya sitting in the kitchen drinking coffee.
"Did you three have fun last night?" Jiraiya asked
The three looked at each other the turned back to Jiraiya. "Yeah." They all said at the same time.
"Well, get cleaned up we leave in an hour." Jiraiya said as he placed his, now empty, cup in the sink and left the room. An hour later the four were in the porch and headed to the station, when Winry running out of the house.
"Wait!" She shout as she ran up to them. "Here, these are for you." She said as she handed over two folded up cloths. Unfolding them, the boys saw that they were traveling cloaks. The one she handed Ed was red, while the one Naruto was handed was orange. "Turn them over." Doing what she said they saw a Flamel. Both boys smiled and put them on.
"Just like teachers." Al said as he looked at the two cloaks.
"I stayed up all night making these for you. I would have made one for you too Al, but well. By the time you get back, I'll have your's made." Winry rubbing the back of her neck.
"Don't go to any trouble on my part." Al said
"It won't be any trouble at all." Winry said. Once all the goodbyes were done, they headed out. At the train station, the boys stood between two trains.
"So, this is it huh." Naruto said looking at Ed.
"Yep." Ed said
"Hey brother, don't forget us." Al said looking at Naruto.
"I could never forget you, not even if I wanted to. You guys are my brothers from another mother. Look Winry wasn't the only one with a good bye gift. Here." Naruto said as he handed Ed a small brown book. He handed Al a larger black book. Al opened his and saw a bunch of pictures. The pictures ranged from the three of them to everyone they knew.
"Great minds think alike." Ed said as he and Al handed him the very same items. At that time the whistle blew.
"Al, keep an eye on Ed. Ed, for the love of Pete don't always explode when someone mentions your height." Naruto said
"Naruto, try to be nice." Al said looking at him
"That's not going to happen." Naruto said
"I said try."
"Brothers?" Ed said as he extended his hand.
"Always, and forever." Naruto said as he took Ed's hand.
"Come on Naruto, or the train will leave with out us." Jiraiya said as he walked to the train and got on it.
"Good bye Na-
"This is not good bye. Good bye is permanent. We will see each other again. So this is see you later." Naruto said as he too got on the train. Once Naruto found where Jiraiya and sat across from him.
"Did you read what was inside that folder?" Jiraiya asked
"Yes, I needed the info."
"Good."
"So how are we getting to Konoha? It's not exactly turn right at the end of the road." Naruto said as he crossed his arms.
"I can't tell you."
"What do you mean you can't tell me?"
"Sorry about this Naruto." Jiraiya said as he put a seal on Naruto's head. The second the seal hit his head, Naruto passed out.
Sometime Later in Konoha
Jiraiya walked into the Hokage's office with a passed out Naruto over his shoulder.
"Jiraiya, did you really need to knock him out?" The third asked as Naruto got placed in a chair.
"Yes." Jiraiya said as he removed the seal from Naruto's head. A few seconds Naruto woke up.
"The fuck did you do to me?" Naruto said as he jumped out of the seat.
"Hello Naruto. Welcome home." The third said looking at the blond.
