A/N Thank you for the reviews, faves and follows! It's great to see that you guys actually enjoy this fanfic, and hopefully you still will :) As much as I love coming up with new ideas and ways to evolve my stories, I'd love to hear what direction you'd like to see this go! So just post a review or PM me if you like. Any way, enough babbling, here's chapter 2, enjoy!

I wake up. The digital alarm clock by my bed glows a vibrant electric blew, alerting me that it is 4:20am. I can't sleep, so I decide to go down and get a glass of water.

As I reach the dining room to enter the kitchen, I notice the kitchen light beaming through cracks of the door. As I walk closer I can hear muffled sobs from behind the closed door. I listen intensely, they're obviously female meaning whoever it is must Elsa or Mum.

Suddenly I hear a chair scrape across the tiled floor and footsteps begin to pace, making me jump a little and bump into Mum's favourite vase behind me. I quickly grab it and stop it from shaking before turning my attention back to the door. It's gone silent now. Too silent. I take my chances, open the door and enter the room to find Elsa, hunched over the kitchen sink. Her platinum hair is tangled and knotted in a loosely braided plait. She sniffles, before turning around.

"A-Anna!" She gasps, startled. Her widened eyes are blood-shocked and her cheeks are tear stained.

"Elsa..." I trail off, staring at her. I just don't understand. What on earth could have provoked my sister to leave her in such a state.

"What...What happened?" I manage to say.

"Nothing." She replies sharply. "I'm fine."

"But you-"

"I said I'm fine!" She snaps.

We stand in silence for a moment, before she heaves a deep breath and walks past me, avoiding eye contact, and retreats back upstairs. I pour a glass of water and go back to bed.

I wake up again at half ten. I rub the sleep from my eyes and head downstairs. As I approach the hallway, I can hear Mum and Dad's voices. Mum sounds raged but frightened, whilst Dad is trying to calm her down.

"But she never misses breakfast Adgar! What if something's happened!" Mum yells.

"I'm telling you Idun, she'll have gone skiing!" Dad tries to reassure her, but it seems to make her worse.

"YOU AND THESE COMPETITIONS! SHE'S A GIRL, NOT A ROBOT! SHE CAN'T BE SKIING ALL THE TIME ADGAR, SHE NEEDS A BREAK!" Mum bellows which makes me flinch as I sit on the bottom stair. I saw this as my time to leave, I'd have my breakfast elsewhere, perhaps at Kristoff's Aunt's, but not here. I quickly get changed and scribble a note to tell them where I'd be, and with that, I leave.

As I walk through the snow, I look up at the higher mountain peaks, Where really is Elsa? I ask in my mind, Has she really gone skiing so early? Why was she so upset last ni- Oof! I walk into someone.

"Sorry." I mumble, barely audible, keeping my head down.

"Abby?" I hear the person question. It's a familiar male voice. I look up to see Hans looking down at me. I suddenly feel nervous and bashful.

"Abby isn't it? Elsa's sister?" He repeats.

"It's...It's Anna, actually." I say breathlessly, tucking a loose strand of hair behind my ear.

"Oh, sorry, Anna." He corrects himself, "Err, have you seen Elsa? She was supposed to be at practice ten minutes ago."

His words make me panic inside. If Elsa wasn't home, she was at practice. But if she wasn't there...

"She should be on her way, she was running a little late this morning." I say in an attempt to try and reassure him, and to try and reassure myself.

"Alright then, thanks." He smiles. It's such a charming smile, it makes me feel warm all over.

"See you later." He says, as he walks past me.

"Bye!" I call after him, a little too chirpy and enthusiastically.

I then realise what has happened.

Elsa wasn't at home this morning, she had missed breakfast and she never misses breakfast. At first I had taken Dad's assumption that she had gone out practicing, but she wasn't their either.

If my sister is missing, I've got to find her, I think to myself, With a little help, of course.
