To recap on what happened on the last chapter, Don fought his brothers.

This chapter is when Don will fight Master Splinter. Please, no flames.

So without further ado, here is chapter 10 of 'I Can't See'.

Previously

"Very good Donatello, you have improved greatly with battling multiple opponents, even though they attacked separately, you still accomplished your training effectively and quick. But not quick enough, and during that battle, you left a few open spots for your brothers to attack on you." Master Splinter stated, but was still very proud of his blind son. "Now can you go and de-paralyse Michelangelo please and thank you. Once you come back you will battle me."

Now

"I have de-paralysed Mikey like you asked Master, now what way will I be fighting you?" Don asked, wanting to be prepared, but he knew he most likely won't get lucky.

"You will have to figure that out for yourself my son, now get ready." Master Splinter commanded and waited for his intelligent son to get ready, once he was, Master Splinter would attack.

'Since I'm blind, I'll have to wait for sensei to start or else I won't be able to focus properly, which I would seriously need if I even want to get a strike on him before I get beat up too badly.' Don thought while getting ready. Once he was, Master Splinter attacked.

Master Splinter started with simple attacks so the fight would last longer and warm the both of them up. But as two minutes progressed by with nothing happening Master Splinter attacked with a whole lot focus and precision and got a few hits in, but not enough to hinder Donatello's progress of dodging and waiting for the right moment to attack. Don knew he probably wouldn't get that good of a hit in, but if he could just enough of a pause, he would make a comeback, but for now he stuck to dodging.

While this was happening, the rest of the brothers watched intently, all for different purposes. Leo watched for a couple of reasons, one was because it was respectful to watch what your brother and sensei were doing, but the main was to see how his brother went along with this, and possibly get a hit in. Mikey watched just because he was bored and agitated, sure he liked to battle, but that was because he was able to move, but he had to sit still now, which took his focus away from the battle at hand. So he decided to bet with Raph. Raph was watching because he was betting with Mikey on who was winning, how long it'll take, and who will be victorious.

But what all three were surprised when Don was able to hit Master Splinter with his Bo, sure it was just a nick off of his arm, but that was surprising in itself since nobody was able to come even close to hitting Master Splinter.

This went back and forth with Don getting close or getting an actual hit and needing to dodge Master Splinter. The battle ended when Master Splinter tripped Don with his tail, but not before Don was able to get a hit on Master Splinter in the neck. 'That'll cause a bruise.' All three of the watching turtles thought while running up too their brother and sensei.

After Don got up, he swore he heard something like 'come on, cough up five bucks, then you owe me a foot massage' but he ignored that. Right now he was more focused on trying to find his Bo which got knocked out of hand when he fell. When his brothers saw that, they got up and gave their brother his Bo back and congratulated him for the good fight.

"Donatello, may I see you in my room after you are done with your brothers? I need to talk about something with you. There is something I wish to give to give to you also." Master Splinter said, leaving the dojo for his room and wait for his son.

"You wanted me Master?" Don asked after he was finally able to wrestle his way out of his brother's congratulations.

"Yes my son, now come and sit." Master Splinter replied, and then waited for his son to get comfortable before continuing. "These past months I have seen you greatly improve in battle, especially against me. But that is not the only reason I called you here. I have done this with all of your brothers, but I have not given them anything but advice because I had to wait and talk with you before I decided who to give this too. After much consideration, and process of elimination, I have finally come to a conclusion."

"This has been in my master's family for generations, but after he was killed by the shredder and was mutated with you and your brothers, I went back and got it. This is a charm necklace that you must always wear, no matter what happens. But I cannot give it to you just yet because I have to wait until you turn seventeen in two months. You will get it then." Master Splinter concluded, then got up with his son and went to get dinner which was making the whole lair smell like the time they went to Japan.

Yay, I completed my tenth chapter. Now by now I shouldn't have to say this but please review. I take all of your comments to heart and try to put your reviews in my story, one chapter or another. And yes, I know that every chapter has the same A/n's, but that's just because that is the way I role.

P.S – it has been two months and eight days since Don has been blind just so you know if anybody out there got confused.
