Ruby and Blake

Another day came around, but this time, there was something special. It was Blake's birthday. She started her day early, but was immediately disappointed. Ruby continued her search, but nothing proved to be helpful. She kept on going until she ran into Team JNPR. They noticed her strange behavior and decided to stop her and talk.

"Wait, today's her birthday?"

"Yeah, did she not tell her?" Ruby quickly retreated to her thoughts. She was trying to think if she did tell her. She probably did, just knowing Ruby, she probably forgot. "Don't tell me you guys forgot?" Ruby jumped away and with a nervous look on her face.

"Pfft, we didn't forget." Nora gave Ruby a snarky look.

"You forgot."

"Whatever, I don't need your help." Without saying anything else, Ruby ran off to find Blake. She repeated what she did early. She went to every spot that Blake was fond of, but she still wasn't there. Ruby was running out of options. She didn't know where to search. She asked around the school, but no one knew where she was. Ruby was almost about to cry. She didn't want Blake to be alone on her birthday, but she had no idea where to find her. Suddenly, she realized she could call her with her scroll. She reached for her belt when she realized she left it in her room. Without wasting any more time, she ran as fast as she could until she arrived at her room. When she got there, she nearly busted down the door to see Blake reading a book on her bed. "Blake, what… what are you doing here?"

"I'm reading a book. Where have you been?" A tear rolled down Ruby's face as she leapt into the air and landed right on top of Blake's body. "What are you doing?"
