This is the 12th chapter of "Career, Love, and Family" so.. let's say the first arc is over which was the Akatsuki arc (maybe) and now we move to the next arc which is the Ruka arc (maybe I should used a different name in naming the arcs XD). Anyways, I hope that you guys will like it just like the other chapters of this story of mine.

A little FLUFF coming up!

It had been a week ever since that small incident with the 'past' happened. Kaname had thought it over so many times but of course he wouldn't bring the topic back up to Zero in fear of having the said silverette break down again. It took Kaname a while to continue his comforting of the silverette. Over the past days Kaname would wake up to find the silverette curled up in the corner crying again despite them actually starting to reciprocate each others feelings. Yes, Zero confessed that he liked Kaname but the pure blood guessed that Zero is still trying to accept that his first love was gone. It was a long process of forgetting and renewing after all. Thankfully though, the silverette had started to smile more, and it was all thanks to the Kuran.

"Hey Zero, do you want to go to the cinemas and watch that movie you wanted to watch? It's airing now anyway." Kaname asked out of the blue. Currently, the two were lounging at the living room's couch and watching t.v. together. Zero turned his head towards the pure blood with lit eyes.

"Can we?" Zero asked. There was a hint of excitement in the silverette's voice which relieved the brunette. It didn't seem like Zero was still depressed about you-know-who so the pure blood took it as a very good sign.

"Of course we can. I practically have all the time in the world so, I want to spend it with you." Kaname said slickly. Zero eyed him suspiciously before lifting a hand up and pinching the pure blood's cheek.

"Don't exaggerate. I know that you are a very busy actor. Besides, you're acting like a flirt, stop it." Zero chuckled as Kaname rubbed the spot where he pinched after letting go.

"I wasn't exaggerating because I was serious." Kaname clarified. Before the silverette could protest though, Kaname had circled one of his arms around the silverette's waist and brought him closer until Zero was on his lap with his back on Kaname's chest. The pure blood placed his other arm around the silverette before hugging him tightly. "I want to spend every second with you and make you happy. I don't want to see you cry anymore." That had hit a cord in Zero's chest. His eyes went soft.

Zero pried Kaname's arms off of him which left the pure blood to feel rejected but then, Zero stood up, turned around, and hugged Kaname's head, bringing it to his chest. "Thank you.." In came the soft whisper from Zero before pulling away and placing a chaste kiss on the pure blood's forehead. "I'd gladly go and watch that movie with you, Kaname." Zero smiled.

"Alright then."

"Kaname, I thought that we were going to the cinema?" Zero asked as he was dragged by the brunette to an expensive looking store. They had gotten halfway into the city but stopped before they could even see a cinema. Then, here they were, standing at the entrance of a shop that he wasn't supposed to be in. "Kaname, seriously-"

A shop attendant had approached them with eyes on both the beautiful men. She smiled. Kaname knew that the woman knew who he was because he was a regular at this shop after all.

"Kuran-sama, it is great to see you shopping at our store again." The shop attendant said, greeting the pure blood before turning to Zero and bowing slightly. "Kuran-sama's guest, welcome as well. Is there anything I can help you out with?"

"Ah yes, can you please get this gentleman here into clothes that would portray the most of his beauty?" Zero blushed at the word Kaname used on him. 'Beauty' wasn't supposed a thing that men a re proud of but then again there are those people who care about it after all.

"Right away sir." The shop attendant bowed. "Kuran-sama's guest, please follow me."

"Uhh, okay?"

During the short wait, Kaname had took it upon himself to sit at the comfy couches of shop's waiting area. Yes they have fancy couches that are meant to be seated by customers who would wait for their requested clothes. Well, what can you expect from a first class clothing center anyway?

"Kuran-sama, thank you so much for waiting. Kuran-sama's guest's look is now ready to be judged upon." The shop attendant came with Zero covered by her form. He was just behind her.

"Well then, let me see." Kaname said, excitement filling him at seeing how Zero would look like in first class clothes. With his order given, the shop attendant nodded and stepped aside to reveal the silverette. "Wow.." Kaname was at a loss for words at how much the silverette looked like a rising star. Zero was wearing a black t-shirt topped with a sleeveless denim jacket, black jeans that hugged to the silverette's skin giving out more of the slender look, and a pair of branded rubber shoes, giving him the so-called stylish delinquent kind of look.

"H-how does it look?" Zero hesitated to ask but did so anyway. To that, Kaname just whistled.

"You look stunning." Kaname said before standing up, taking the clipboard the shop attendant gave him, and scribbled something down. After that, he grabbed Zero's hand and led him out of the shop.

"W-wait! What about my other clothes?" Zero asked in a panic.

"I'll have them send it to your apartment this evening." came Kaname's reply.

"B-but did you even pay for what I'm wearing?!" Zero asked again, still panicking like hell.

"I'm a regular at that place Zero, I can just give them my signature and everything will be fine."

"Eh?! How is that even called paying?!"

Kaname did not reply to that anymore but instead just went back to the car the pure blood used to drive them to the store.

"Now, for that date." Kaname grinned to himself.

'He called it a 'date'!' Zero blushed before sitting in the passenger's seat and hooking the seat belt over him.
