A new Shen Gong Wu activated.

The four dragons suited up and flew out on Dojo. Jaqulin followed on her motor-cycle-turned-four-wheeler; she fell behind, expected to, and when she caught up Jack and the Dragons just disappeared into their Showdown. Good; that gave her time to do what she needed. She stepped out on the battlefield, parts of Jackbots strewn across about an acre of land. It was surprising how much of the machines stayed in tact after practically exploding whenever they were 'defeated'. Judging by the amount of debris, she estimated that about five were destroyed before the showdown was initiated.

'Ooh, I found an integrated circuit.' She thought to herself before noticing an intact head. Carefully, she stepped around arms and sparking wires- a circular saw blade spun irregularly- the CPUs still trying to process the non-existant threat.

"Power down," she commanded. The machine powered off, following the protocols programmed inside its processor. She retrieved the head, checked the wires. "They're tore up, burnt a bit. As long as the motherboard is fine then it's nothing I can't replace." She tossed the head towards her vehicle. Twenty minutes passed and she managed to retrieve the parts required for half a functioning 'bot before thunder cracked the sky- signaling the Showdown was going to end any minute. Jaqulin quickly hurried to her vehicle and moved behind a tree. 'Out of sight, out of mind...'

The participants appeared: The Dragons were the victors. Cheering, they said their final taunts before flying back to the Temple. Jaqulin watched as Jack had his bots gather the remains of their fallen comrades. 'That's new. When did he start doing that?'

One of the bots approached Jack, who looked disappointed more than really upset, and reported that some of the parts were missing. His expression changed to annoyance.

"Check again. Double sweep the area, and check the treeline if you have to." His voice had changed during the time she was gone.

Jackbots scoured the area, and somehow managed to miss her hiding place. Until they double-backed to rescan everything. She cursed under her breath before holding it. If she was caught, it'd ruin her plans. So as quietly as she could, she dumped most of the parts- keeping the head, an arm, and one of the circuts she found on the ground. She decided it'd be easier to get away with a lighter load.

"Here comes the hard part," she whispered, putting her helmet on. The sound of the engine startled the machines and the Evil Genius, though the group recovered quicker than she hoped.

"Jackbots, attack!"

Her sudden movement popped her neck and nearly jerked the circutry out of its binding. She hit fourty mere seconds later, but by then the partol was already on her trail.

"Get back here!" he commanded. His voice scared her- if she was caught now her plans were going in the shredder. A glance behind her revealed him to be far closer than she had thought he'd be, hand outreached to grab her; she panicked and swerved, dodging his hand and a tree simultaneously. Jack hit the tree- she heard him cuss- and she managed to get away. As bad as she felt for him getting injured, she wasn't going to stop to render aid; that's what his machines were for.

She returned to the temple an hour later. The Xiaolin Dragons were in the dining hall, chowing down on lunch. She didn't bother to go eat with them.

She moved her four wheeler to the garage she had built for it and unloaded her cargo. She carried the machine parts to her room, retrieved her tools, and got to work. Hair tied back, uniform folded in the corner, she wore a simple t-shirt and jeans when she unscrewed the head of the bot. There wasn't any activity in the CPU- not that she expected any- but she checked nonetheless.

Over the last two months she had been scavenging through the piles of Jackbots, taking bits and pieces back to the temple in the hopes that she could build one of her own. All she needed was a head. Mostly, she was getting bubkus for parts- everything she had tried to salvage up to this point was unusable. Heads smashed to pieces, armor punched through, gears bent, wires tore. Everything she tried to save turned out to be junk later. The head she had retrieved, however, had a functioning CPU, the microphone in its 'ears' still worked, and it was able to take commands from her. That was a good thing. That meant she had something to work with. Before she could really get to work, unfortunately, she heard the Training Bell ring.

She set the head in the corner, covered it with a blanket, and dusted her hands off, "I'll deal with it later."
