Jack placed trackers in all of his Jackbots when he noticed parts were coming up missing. One such tracker continued to project its location after a recent battle with the Monks. He traced it to the monk temple. A part of his brain imagined Kimiko tinkering with the Jackbot head, taking it apart to figure out how it worked. His hormones found that attractive, but his logic was a little peeved. That was his things that she was messing with!
He deployed a spybot (model: fly) to see what was going on; he hadn't expected to find what he did. Almost an entire Jackbot, minus the armaments and armor sat in the corner of a room he did not recognize. Papers were pinned up on the walls- schematics and blueprints mostly, but other drawings caught his attention...
Raimundo with bandages on his hands and face, talking to people out of frame... Omi and Clay, sparring without Shen Gong Wu... Kimiko with long blonde hair and her 'Ms. American' outfit...
"I liked her in that outfit, I wonder if she plans to wear that again..." he thought aloud as he moved to the next set of pictures.
Two nondescript people skating, well, one person skating and the other sitting down with their legs sprawled. Snow gently fell in frame and a familiar house sits in the background.
Two people sitting and eating breakfast- scrambled eggs it looked like. The female had an amused look while the male's face could clearly be described as the opposite.
A picture of a person standing in a cave of crystals, the size making the person seem small, and the end of what looked like a giant drill tip.
He knew who drew these pictures, but didn't know how to feel about it. Jaqulin was there? Why? How long? Long enough to rebuild a Jackbot, but not much else.
His timing couldn't have been more perfect, Jaq entered the room. He noticed she was limping, however, and wondered what caused it. The angle the Spybot sat didn't allow him to see her face well, but he had a feeling that with the way she walked straight to a mirror that it was swollen. Her eye on the left side seemed to be in a squint- it was bruised.
Kimiko walked in the room after her, looking perfect as always, her body language projected hostility. Jaqulin saw her through the mirror and spun around, narrowly avoiding a blow to her face. The mirror caught it instead- shattering. Because of the size of the spybot, audio was unavailable, but he imagined that Jaqulin was yelling something since her mouth moved and her body showed fear.
His eye caught something- the mirror was shattered, but there was no blood.
"That's not Kimiko."
He wanted to yell, tell her to run, but it was no use; the spybot was a one way video feed only. Instead, he sprinted out of his room to his jet, hoping that he'd make it to the Temple before Jaqulin was killed. He activated his Jackbots (2-X Series), gave them the coordinates, and threatened them with dismantling if they didn't keep her alive.
By the time he reached the temple, he couldn't find either of the fighters. His bots affirmed the two were not on the property, however the four wheeler wasn't either. Jack had the bots follow the tire tracks while he went to go look around the Temple for any Wu laying around (Old habits break hard after all). He took everything he found.
He received a transmission from his Jackbots that the vehicle and its occupant was found. The attacker was missing.
"Bring her home to be treated. The rest of you come get her things before the monks return."
He made his way home. First she'll be treated, then he'll get his answers.
