Honestly, I am so sorry it took me to upload this! I have had like zero time to work on any of my fanfictions! Working full time, being in the hospital, and family obligations kind of took over for a while... Well, remember when I said maybe if I work with someone who reminds me of Labyrinth, I might be inspired to write more? Well, I do... And this is going to come out kind of mean, but I definitely don't mean it in a mean way. BUT, I work with someone who looks like the junkyard lady. Do you realize how hard it was to work that day with her? My god, I was reciting Labyrinth all day in my head. It even slipped out of my mouth every once in a while. She was nice however. :) So, you might see a chapter soon with some other Labyrinth characters.

And as ALWAYS, Labyrinth does NOT belong to me. Although, I really wish it did. Happy reading! You might or might not like this chapter. Hoping you do. :)

sheniyag- You'll find out in this chapter. ;)

excentricaluli- It's finally up!

Honoria Granger- You'll find out now. :)

Buggus264- Lmao, your review made me laugh.. Well, the last part anyways. :)

I just want to thank you all for the reviews. Hopefully you didn't abandon me for taking so long.

And lastly, ENJOY!

And I know that this is REALLY short, and I'm sorry. Next one will hopefully be longer.

"How did this happen?" Jareth had thrown his thone around the throne room well over thirty times since hearing the news. Sarah was amazed that he hadn't broke it yet. "This is impossible! Who would have killed her? Darin is dead, so that counts him out."

Sarah wanted to fix all of this. She wanted to take Jareth's pain away. Not even Valentina was helping with Jareth's mood. "Jareth, you need to calm down." Sarah looked over at Valentina who was still sleeping peacefully in her crib. "You're going to wake Valentina up. You of all people know that she needs her sleep."

Jareth rolled his eyes. "She's a baby, and will be a baby for quite a while. She will have plenty of time to sleep!" Sarah jumped at his booming voice. Even though Jareth was still fuming over the death, he walked over to Valentina's crib and started caressing her head. "Valentina, my darling, I will never allow anyone to touch you in this kingdom. I'm not sure how someone found their way into our kingdom without being noticed, but we shall figure it out. I will protect you with every fiber of my being."

Sarah went to say something to Jareth, but he stopped her. "There is nothing that you can say that will make me forget that my mother was murdered!"

No one had bothered to remember that Artemis was still there after he had said that Esmerald was dead. That all changed though after he spoke up. "I never said she was murdered."

Jareth turned his head towards to Artemis, "What do you mean? You just told me that she was dead!" The anger was coming off of Jareth in spades. It was almost like you could see it rising off of his body.

Artemis raised a finger up and wagged it. "I said she was dead, not murdered." Jareth gave him a look of confusion. The only way the Fae died was by being murdered, or by being so heartbroken that their hearts literally broke into pieces. Artemis could see the light bulb go off in Jareth's head. "Do you get it now?"

"It does not make it easier to accept it."

Sarah was looking between the two men confused. "I'm glad you understand it. Will someone tell me what's going on?"

Jareth simply nodded and told her the two ways that the Fae could die. It was all so confusing to Sarah. There was only two ways to die? Being murdered or being so heartbroken that it was almost like you were murdered? "So basically you're telling me that I won't ever die unless I'm murdered or heartbroken?" Jareth nodded ever so slightly. "Woah, I-"

Sarah stopped short. What was she going to say? That she hadn't signed up for this? Because, of course she had. When she said her vows and ate the peach, she welcomed this life with open arms. It wasn't that she didn't want to be with Jareth, but forever was a really, really, really long time. On the other hand, this definitely gave her more time to spend with her daughter. Their daughter. Sarah looked up at Jareth. "Maybe, maybe you should go see your father. He must be upset."

Jareth shook his head no. "By now, my father has probably already died of a broken heart also. My mother was his one true love."

Sarah rubbed Jareth's back. "Even more reason to go see him. Just in case he hasn't died. Maybe you can console him somehow."

"May I take Valentina with me? I'm sure that will make my father happy."

"She's your daughter also. You can take her with you." Sarah smiled and kissed Jareth. "Now, go check on him and get back here so we can tell Rowanda together."

With a curt nod, Jareth was gone with Valentina.

Jareth found himself looking around the throne room of his mother and father's castle. Not one thing was out of place. He couldn't understand why his father wouldn't have trashed the place as he did his. "Father! Where are you?" Nothing but silence ensued. "Father, I've brought Valentina with me for you to meet her. She is your granddaughter you know."

Jareth was just about to leave when Esmerald came out rubbing her eyes. "What are you yelling about?"

Jareth had to blink a few times to make sure he was really seeing his mother standing in front of him. How could this be? Artemis had said that she was dead. Why would he lie? "Mother?"

"Yes. That's who I am. Glad to see you still have some of your senses. Now, why did you bring this precious little baby out at this time of night? Not that I mind. I finally get to meet my grandchild."

Jareth handed Valentina over to his mother as she smiled. "I was told you were dead."

Esmerald snapped her head up. "Clearly I'm not. Why would someone tell you that I was dead? That's a horrible joke to play on someone."

King Abott finally came out and walked over to where Esmerald was holding Valentina. "Is this our granddaughter?" Esmerald nodded with a wide smile. "She's so precious. May I hold her?" Esmerald laughed and handed Valentina over. "My first grandchild. What brought on this visit so late at night?"

Jareth recounted how he was told his mother was dead. "Father, why would Artemis play such a cruel joke? Doesn't he know that I can be cruel. Much more cruel than he?" All of a sudden, Jareth felt a pull to go back home. Something made him want to run back and protect Sarah with all of his might. "Will you both watch Valentina while I go check on Sarah? Something doesn't seem right. I need you to protect her with your lives. Get extra protection for the castle and don't trust anyone. Even if it is family. I have a feeling something horrible is about to happen."

Before King Abott and Esmerald could answer, Jareth vanished and left King Abott and Esmerald enjoying time with their granddaughter all the while being worried about Jareth and Sarah.

Jareth made it back to his throne room in record time. Or so he thought. When he got back, Rowanda was binded to Sarah's throne. "What happened here?" Jareth screamed. He looked around to see if Sarah was anywhere in sight, when he saw that she wasn't, he ran and grabbed Rowanda's face. "I said, what happened here?"

Tears were streaking down Rowanda's face. "He's not dead!"

"Of course Darin is dead. Artemis killed him!"

Rowanda shook her head feverishly. "No, dear brother. That's not what happened."

Jareth started to unbind Rowanda. "Then what did?"

"Darin had put a spell on Artemis to act like him, and then he made Artemis look like him, and himself look like Artemis. So when he killed Darin, he actually killed Artemis. Artemis is Darin."

This was unbelievable. Jareth felt like he should have known what was going on in the first place. He should have been there to protect Sarah and Rowanda. "Where is Sarah? Please tell me she's fine."

Rowanda pointed to a table in the corner of the room. Jareth couldn't see Sarah. The one thing he did see was the ring Sarah had been wearing to protect her from Darin.
