My Word: I'm sorry it's taken so long for an update, things have been crazy, I work at night now, for five days a week, so I have been sleeping a lot lately. It took me a long time to get this job, so, hopefully I can update a little more and get things going again. And yet, I've been there for a few months now, and this was supposed to be out a long time ago. I also thing I might be changing jobs soon because they're screwing my shift over bad with a ton of changes… Anyway! Hope you enjoy this one, I kinda hit a wall but managed to give you something.

Devan's leg wouldn't stop bouncing as she sat in the front row of bleachers of the gym, holding tight to Dorinda's hand as she watched the principal and started to chew on her lip. This was not the moment that she was looking forward too, and she was seriously nervous about it because it meant that she was going to be losing her girlfriends presence at school. She took in a slow breath and winced when she was finally called up to stage and they slowly made an approach to the stage, but ultimately she was the one standing up there alone. Nervous beyond anything she'd ever felt before. She shook a little as she adjusted the microphone, letting out a nervous laugh that echoed out. "Uh… So, I should be used to being on a stage." She said, her voice squeaking and cracking. She winced, running a hand through her hair. "I'm just going to spit out; because I can't stand being up here longer then I have too. I am used to having my group with me. Uh, my best friend Dakota figured it out, because he's brilliant like that. Anyway, my name isn't Ally. I'm Devan Keller, and this is Dorinda. I'm sure you know who we are. And yes, well Dorinda has already finished school, I have not. She will leave, I won't. I'm gonna tough this one out. I am going to stay at my best friend's side, I am going to graduate. And no, I won't be making any more friends, so don't even try. I'm not into gold diggers." She told them all before she was walking off the stage into a group of security guards with Do, and then out of the school for the rest of the day so they could all get most of the shock and everything out of their system.

Devi was sprawled out in the grass under the tree at school, groaning because it had become this constant thing where people were taking photos of her while she was at school. It was becoming a tedious thing because it had been over a month now. She had an arm over her eyes "Are they gone yet?" she asked Dakota, who had his nose in a book. "Hmm?" he asked, very slowly looking up and away. "Oh… Wow there's tons of them… What did you ask?"

"You just answered my question." She said as she slowly sat up. "Hey, you wanna make them flip out?" she asked, texting as she asked it. She smiled and laughed at her text response, tucking her phone away before she looked over at him. "Um, what're you planning?" he asked, looking at her very cautiously. "Kiss me." She said as she looked at him with her best wanting look. His eyes quickly went wide in shock, making an uncharacteristic giggle come out of her. "Oh come on man, not even a fake one? They've been doing this for a month, let's set them on a frenzy." She told him with a laugh before she was leaning over very slowly in front of him, close enough to make it look like she was making out with him.

There were tons of flashes, the press and tabloid cameras going crazy before they were all taking off to put it into a story. She laughed as she leaned back, the last large van peeling away from the school curb "They should stay away for like a week, well maybe a few days." She told him, patting his shoulder affectionately before she popped up off the ground to her feet. She extended a hand down to him "Come on, we have science next and you get to ogle your crush. Mister Running Back." She told him with a grin, laughing as he swatted her hand away and got up quickly on his own, glaring at her as he stormed off ahead of her. "Hey, come on Kota! It was all fake! Do didn't object!" she hollered after him as she grabbed their bags and ran off after him.

What neither of them say, was the one camera sticking out of the bush, the one that had been close enough to catch what Devan had been texting and that her kiss had been fake. But he didn't leave. He waited for that bell before he was walking off the property to walk three blocks away and into his vehicle to use a wireless connection to set up his blog that promised pictures when the next tabloids were on the shelves.

Devan was laughing at the backlash she was getting on the internet and talk shows. She was scheduled to be on one that very afternoon, it was a lesser known show, but everyone wanted to talk to her and Dorinda, and this was one of the few shows that they could both attend, because they were in the same place at the same time. Devi actually had Do pinned to a wall back stage, one hand on the wall, bodies pressed tight together and holding tight to her hip as she kissing her deep and loving, but slowly getting deeper as the tips of her fingers grazed skin.

"Whoa! Okay…" a female stage hand had been sent for them, her clipboard going up to shield her eyes and she cleared her throat. "Uh, excuse me, Miss Keller you're up first." She told her, waiting for the sound of kissing to stop, a groan caused her lower her clip board for a peek and she sighed when she saw that the younger girl was leaning away and easily fixing her clothing. "Lead the way, or killer of joy." She told her with a gesture of her hand as the stage hand was quick to lead her away.

After ten minutes of being in the chair beside the desk by the interviewer, he finally asked the question, but it wasn't the one she'd really been expecting. "So, we have pictures of your kiss with your best friend, from a different angle, care to explain these ones?" he had asked, and the shock on her face when they were on the screen behind them, was proof that she was at a loss for words. "Uh… Well… Um… Shit." She said, leaning back heavily.

"Time to come clean honey." Dorinda said as she walked onto the stage unannounced and straight over to squeeze into the chair beside her girlfriend. They shared a tender kiss before a sigh came out of the younger girl, holding tight to her girlfriend as she looked back to the interviewer and shifted to pull out her cell phone. "I have the text messages on here still, from that day. Give me a minute to scroll back and find them." She said as she kept going. "I mean, they have photos of me texting before I lean over to him, and I mean, if they stayed long enough like that guy seemed to have, they would have seen how very angry he was at me for that. He still barely talks to me." She said, finally finding what she was looking for and turning to show it to the interviewer before it was being shown to the camera, which they had some difficulty showing it on the screens, but the couple was finally coming clean on their little plan. "It was a game I wanted to play, and Do's a sweet enough girlfriend to know that it was going to mean nothing and she let me do it. Where's the fun in being in the press unless you can be a little bad in the process. I was always the bad girl for them, even though I'm in love with a beautiful woman now, why can't I still be a little bad? I'm sure that's part of why she loved me anyway." She said as she turned her attention up to the blonde.

The look on Dorinda's face gave away that she hadn't been expecting the confession of love, and she just looked at her in silent surprise. "I… You love me?" she asked, and the way Devan's face fell gave away that she hadn't been aware that she had even said it until that moment. Everyone was silent, just letting them work it out. "Devi, sweetheart, speak to me. I want to hear you say it again, to me this time."

"I love you." Devan said, looking up at her as she looked into her eyes. "I didn't plan on saying it here, or anytime soon, but I do. I love you." She told her and pulled her down into a deep kiss. "I love you, I love you, I love you." She said, pulling her into another kiss as she completely forgot about where they were. The interviewer clapped his hands to get their attention. "Alright, shall we continue?"

"Shush, my turn." Dorinda said, shifting to straddle her girlfriend as she looked down into her eyes. They were quiet as they stared at each other, and the auburn haired girl was on a bit of an edge, she looked like she was about to say something. "I um… I love you too, so much." She told her, leaning down to give her a passionate kiss before they were being broken up by the announcer that was really loud. "Okay, time for a commercial! Someone, get them apart!"

"I can't believe I did that! On live TV! I… You!" she turned to point at Devan, whose hands flew up fast as if she was trying to defend herself. "You, little miss bad girl of the press, you have been a rather bad influence on me, no more of that, do you understand?" she told her as she walked over to her, and grabbed her shirt. Devan smirked at her, grabbing her hips quickly as she pulled her tight against her and kissed her deeply for a minute as she turned to pin her to the wall. "Yes, ma'am, no more bad stuff." Devan said before she was kissing her again, sliding her hands up her sides beneath her shirt. She knew where she wanted this to go because she could get away with so much now, knowing just how much they loved each other.
