Midnight's POV

I sighed, and I adjusted myself in his arms. I felt something wet hit my arm, and I touched the wet spot. I pulled my hand back, and I stiffened. Purple blood stained my hand. It was Sirius' blood.

"I need to bandage this before it gets out of hand." I said referring to his wound. He looked down at me and blinked. He looked away, and he just kept on walking. I frowned.

"I need to bandage this now!"

He looked down at me, and I felt his chest rumble slightly. He stopped, and he set me on the grass as he sat down. I bit into my sleeves, and I ripped each one off. I crawled to his arm, and I flinched at the wound. It would need stitches when we got back home. Steve would need his nose popped back in place, and a couple health potions too. Not to mention my broken leg. I tightly wrapped the torn sleeves on his wound, and I nodded my head.

He stood up and gently picked me up. He began to walk, and I stifled a groan. I felt hot and humid air slap me in my face.

I was curled up against Sirius' chest because of the cold air. I hate these bipolar biomes. He was almost carrying me like one would carry a baby. That thought nearly made me blush with embarrassment. I buried my face in his chest, earning a very light chuckle. If I wasn't pressed against his chest, I would have never known.

After a while he shifted my weight on one arm, and he brushed my hair out of my face, to get a good look at me. He peered down at me, and I smiled. He smiled in return. He lightly traced my cheek bone with his large finger tips, touching me like someone would a porcelain doll. I blushed, and he chuckled again. He pointed ahead, and I looked in the direction. I nearly squealed, and I smiled broadly. Home. Finally, I made it back home.

BARK! BARK BARK!

I smiled when Frosty's head popped up in the window. Sirius opened the front door.

"BARK BARK BARK! ROOF!" Frosty greeted us.

I smiled, and Sirius rested me down on the bed.

"Ah!" I yelped when Frosty attacked me with her tongue. I bursted into a fit of giggles. Sirius made a bubbling noise, and gently shooed her away. She hopped off the bed with a whine. Sirius propped me up against the wall, and slid a pillow between me and the wall. He immediately appeared at my leg. I hissed in agony as he removed the screwed up cast. Sirius' eyes widened, and his jaw hung open slightly. I gasped.

My broken bone was poking out of my dark purple skin a bit. Not much, but it still hurt like heck! An acidy taste filled my mouth, and I hurled the contents of my stomach on the floor. I shivered

"Ohh . . . " I moaned. I heard a bubbling noise, and I focused my attention to Sirius. He nodded his head, and I nodded mine in return. I took a deep breath.

CRAA-AACK!

A high pitched, shrill scream erupted from my mouth. I broke out in sweat, and tears streamed down my face. I opened my eyes. Shiz! The bone was under the skin, but my leg was still crooked.

CRACK!

Another shrill scream erupted from me, and I managed to crack open my eyes. My leg was strait, but it was bleeding. Sirius tightly wrapped a bandage over the bleeding wound. He arranged the two wooden splints, and wrapped them tightly also. He neatly tied it off. I breathed a sigh of relief. Finally, it was over.

Sirius walked over, and he gently wiped away my tears. He smiled, and I weakly smiled back.

"Thank you." I mumbled, earning a bubble from Sirius. I slowly turned around, and I grabbed my pickaxe. I stood up and I leaned on it.

"Here Porky!" I called. Porky hurried over with a snort. I looked at Steve, and he was still out cold. His face looked like a cut grape, and his nose was twisted to an unnatural angle. I cringed, and I made Porky stand against my bed. Sirius stepped in, and untied Steve, and he laid him on the bed, instead of me attempting to do so. I sat next to him, and I felt around his nose. Thankfully, my mother taught me lots of stuff when I was little. Well, before she got killed that is.

I opened up my drawers next to my bed, and I pulled out some clean wool swabs.

CRACK!

I shuddered after I place Steve's nose back in position. His nose was now symmetrical. I stood, up, and I looked down at my pile of- I dumbly blinked. The vomit was gone. I mentally groaned.

"Thank you . . . " I sighed to Sirius, wherever he was. I hobbled to my bathroom, to find my surgical sewing kit. I creaked it open, and I snatched it.

"Sirius?" I called out. "Sirius!" I sighed. I hobbled to the kitchen, to sit down. I gasped when Sirius magically appeared in front of me.

"I swear you like to scare the tar out of me." I joked. I opened the kit, and a needle was missing. I looked at Sirius' arm, and it was stitched up. He handed me a clean needle.

"I must be slower than I thought." I sighed as I yawned. Today was already a long, tiring day. I could only imagine how tired Sirius was, carrying me around all day. It was already dark; we must have got home around sunset for it to be dark already. I stretched my back, and my arms. I opened my eyes, and Sirius disappeared again. Sometimes I wish he couldn't teleport, at least then I know where the hell he was going. I sighed as I leaned onto the back of the chair, and I closed my eyes.

I yawned as I gently uncovered myself. I blinked, and I looked at the purple covers. Where in the heck did I get a purple blanket?! I looked around the room, and I must have been up in my unfurnished upper rooms. Then it clicked. Sirius was out, building me a bed to sleep in. That is why he kept on disappearing.

I spotted a sleeping Sirius camping out on the floor in my room. He lifted his head up and smiled. I smiled back, and he vanished, again! He poofed back with some eggs and some steak. Freshly cooked. He handed me the single plate. He vanished once again, and he reappeared with his own plate. He sat down cross-legged on the wooden floor.

"I feel like a royal something." I joked. "Thank you very much." I said earnestly. His eyes lit up, and he smiled broadly. I smiled back, and then I bit into a juicy, medium rare steak. It seemed to melt on my tongue, drizzling its way across every crevice of my mouth. I swallowed and I bit into it again.

I finally finished and I smiled again.

"I appreciate this."

He responded with a bubbling noise. I heard moaning down stairs. Oh, I forgot about poor Steve! I looked around for my pickaxe. None. I checked the opposite side of my bed, and I found a pair of crudely make crutches. They would work fine, but not 'expertly' done. Heck, just 'cause something is not smooth and flawless doesn't mean that they don't work. I snatched the crutches, and I balanced myself, and I hobbled out the door. I came around the corner, and I inwardly groaned. I glared at the stairs. I took a deep breathe, and I started at the first step.

I finally made it down the stairs next to his bed, to see Steve shift to get up.

"Hey." I called to him. He rubbed the sleep out of his eyes, and he mumbled something. His eyes jolted open, and he took in his surroundings. His face turned a paler shade of purple, and his eyes looked like a pair of fried eggs. I nearly laughed, but I managed to keep my mouth shut.

"Get behind me!" he yelped. I looked at him weirdly.

"Ack!" I yelped as he yanked me behind him, practically throwing me on the bed. I glared at Steve. I looked in the direction Steve was looking, and I sighed. Sirius and Steve were glaring daggers at each other.

"Ya'll better cool off!" I exclaimed, "we are all allies here." That earned both glares directed to me. I would have hated to see the looks of them if I said 'friends'.

"Steve, this here is Sirius."

Steve looked at me like a third eyeball sprouted on my forehead.

"That thing has a name?! What is it, your pet?!" I glared at Steve.

"No, in matter of fact, he is my friend." I hissed. He glanced at a completely pissed off Sirius, and then at me.

"What?!" he hissed. "Are you kidding me?!" he nearly yelled.

I heard deep growling and I looked up to see Sirius towering over Steve with clenched fist. Steve's eyes darted up, and he coward from Sirius.

"By the way, he happened to save your life too." I stated. Steve directed his attention to me.

"What?! He tried to kill me! Then he turns around and saves my life!" Steve threw his arms in the air with frustration, "how does that make sense!?"

"FYI, I asked him to save you." I hissed. Steve is beginning to piss me off. Scratch that, he already has. I couldn't help but imagine my hands wrapping around his neck, and shaking him like a rag doll. I knew Sirius was thinking the same exact thing.

Steve dumbly blinked. "Oh . . . " was the only thing he could think to say. I rolled my eyes at him.

"He saved you out of your burning house- "

"WHAT?!" I cringed at Steve's outburst.

"Yes, my crutch got in the furnace, and it lit your whole house on fire." Steve's jaw hung open.

"SQUEEE!" Porky shrieked as he tackled after Steve, knocking him off the opposite side of the bed. I looked up at Sirius, and he shook his head with a smirk on his face. I realized I was smiling too.
