"Great." Steve said, getting very tired of what little they had to go on disappearing right before their eyes. He sighed. "Kono, after you call Koga, cross reference the name Brian Hall with all the people hired by the stadium, and the band manager." he continued. "While you're at it, check his company to see if they can give us anything. We may get an I.D. from them, a staff photo or something."

She nodded. Meanwhile, he turned to Chin. "Did you get anything out of the girls at the concert?"

"They didn't see a body or anyone around, but they did say they saw a dark coloured, large model car parked down the street from the back entrance. It started, and that spooked them so they abandoned their plan to get autographs and headed back to the front."

"So that could've been our getaway vehicle." Steve reasoned. "Did any vehicles show up on the cameras?" he asked, which made him think about his sister again.

"No," Chin shook his head. "So they must've known that, and parked down the street to conceal themselves.

"Okay, this had to be premeditated," Steve sighed. "Whoever's behind this had to have it all planned out, there's no other way." He turned to Chin. "Can you set the tape up here?" he motioned to the smart table. Chin nodded and started typing on the smart table.

"Okay, what are we doing about Dr. Billings?" Danny asked.

Steve looked at the youngest member of their team. "Kono, run all the background you can on her. She's got to have some other connection to Hall, but we don't know what, so we need anything that might give us a clue." She nodded and started typing furiously on her tablet as she headed for her office. "If we find something, we'll get her brought back here, but until then, we can't do much." He barely took a breath before turning to Chin. "Okay, you have the tapes set up. Let's get this over with."

Seeing how frazzled the SEAL was becoming, Danny finally spoke up about it. "Steve, you gotta take a breather, buddy." Danny advised his friend. "You can't go full steam ahead on this case, and on finding your sister, okay."

"What are you trying to say, Danny?" the SEAL stood with his back slightly arched, arms crossed in front of his chest.

Like an animal ready to attack, thought Danny. "Don't go all defensive mode on me, Steve. I'm just saying, maybe you 're spreading yourself a little too thin, is all." He continued, even though he could tell he was already digging himself into a deep, deep hole. "Look, we're all getting a little impatient trying to catch a break in this case, but you also have Mary to worry about, and you can't tell me something isn't going on with Catherine, and even though you are too bullheaded to acknowledge it, you are worried abou-"

"Don't start with that again, Danny!" Steve almost yelled. "I am fine, okay?! Now I'd like to figure out what is going on with Mary, but I can't do that if you're standing here, trying to stick your nose into my personal business. So if you're done, I'd like to get back to finding my sister, okay?"

Danny didn't have the chance to say anything before Steve turned away from him. "Chin, you find her yet?" Steve hardly took a breath in his entire rant, even though he was really letting his frustration of the situation get the better of him.

"Yeah," Chin nodded as he tapped away on the table computer. "We don't see Mary til about the seven o'clock mark, so I'll fast forward until then."

Steve took a deep breath in. He did not want to see his sister on this security footage, but nonetheless, he was prepared. He stayed silent while he watched who was definitely his little sister appear on the screen. "I'm sorry, man." he felt Danny's hand on his shoulder, and he knew his partner wasn't just talking about discovering that Mary was involved in bad business again.

Mary Ann McGarrett appeared around the back of one of the trailers, looking around to see if anyone else was around. She took her phone out and looked at the screen before climbing the stairs that led to the door into the theatre. She looked in the window, and then as if something startled her, she ran away from the window and hid behind some large crates. After a few minutes of being hunched over, and checking her phone multiple times, Mary moved out from behind the crate. As if something caught her eye by the door once again, Mary quickly disappeared around the corner of the building, and unfortunately, off camera.

Chin tapped the table to stop the video. "That's it." was all he said. "The feed goes on for another ten minutes, but there was no sign of Mary. Then there was a malfunction with the cameras, and we lose the feed altogether. So no other sightings of anyone in, or around that area." he explained.

"Well, the good news is, we see she was gone long before there was a body there, so that greatly lowers her chances of being involved, right?" Danny said, trying to comfort his friend, who was still very, very silent.

"And we know she has a phone of some kind, so I'll work on finding that number, if we still can't get her on the number we already have." Chin stated, tapping the table a bunch more.

Danny looked at his partner. Steve, however, still did not move in the slightest. "Buddy, I know strong and silent usually works for you, but I have to say you're freaking me out a little bit here."

"She was looking for someone." was all he said, before turning and walking with a serious conviction into his office.

Danny threw his hands in the air. "Well, that's helpful." he let out a large sigh as he looked at Steve sitting in his office. "What is he doing? Does he have something?"

"You got me, brah." Chin replied, shrugging his shoulders. "But you know McGarrett, if he's got something, he's got something."

"Yeah, let's hope his streak doesn't break now." Danny added as Steve burst out of his office as quickly as he had entered barely a minute earlier.

"Chin, call TSA and find out when Mary landed on the island, at least we'll have a starting point as to her whereabouts. And then see what else you can find out about Brian Hall. His family, anything that'll give us a clue."

"You got it. Do you think that's who Mary was meeting back there?" Chin asked.

"I don't know, but for now, he's the only one we can prove was back there, so we have to start there." Chin nodded in agreement and started typing on the table.

He turned to Danny. "You and I are going to go talk to Vincent Philips." Steve said as he walked towards their headquarters door. Realizing his partner wasn't behind him after a few seconds, Steve stopped and looked back at the smart table.

"Danny, what are you waiting for? We've still got almost nothing on this case, and time is not on our side, so let's go!" He again raised his voice slightly.

Danny let out a sigh and followed suit. He still felt that Steve was spreading himself too thin, but he also knew that was how his partner dealt with stuff like this. He submersed himself so deep in whatever work was there, he couldn't process whatever it was he was trying to get away from. It perpetually frustrated Danny, but at the same time, he realized that he couldn't blame Steve, after everything he'd been through in his thirty odd years of life.

As the men approached the interrogation room door, Danny stopped his partner. "Okay, Steven, just listen to me for a minute, would you?" he tried to say as calmly as possible, which really was saying something for the hot tempered Jersey native.

Steve already had his hand on the door handle, but let go when he realized just how much Danny was trying to tame his temper to reason with him. "Okay." he replied, showing his master control ability too.

Danny let out a heavy sigh. "We don't have anything solid yet, so we need to tread carefully, here."

"We don't have time to tread carefully, Danny," Steve raised his voice slightly. "We need-"

"You need to hear me out, for once!" Danny was barely short of yelling now, having long forgotten about trying to keep his cool. "You keep telling us there's more to this guy than we're seeing, right?" he knew acknowledging McGarrett was right about something would help calm his rage. "We know he got one of his people to threaten Denning, right? So chances are pretty good that he also knows they were successful. Which means, he knows-"

"He knows that if he taunts us long enough, we'll have to let him go." Steve finished.

"Exactly," Danny nodded. "Which means, we have to tread carefully to get what we want out of him."

Steve rubbed his hands over his face for a second. "Okay, we just need to be smarter than him, that's all." He looked at his partner. "And you're off to a pretty good start, I'd say." he couldn't quite bare to smile, but he knew Danny had gotten his message.

Danny looked at his partner. He knew that was Steve's way of apologizing, and he happily took it and gave Steve a small pat on the back as he opened the interrogation room door.

After fifteen minutes of getting nowhere with their suspect, Steve was getting more than a little tired. "So you're telling me, you have no idea who Brian Hall is?" He held the photo of their victim in front of the band manager's face. They still didn't know whether that was Brian Hall or not, but their guy didn't need to know that. "You're going to sit here and tell us you didn't hire Brian Hall to play around with some of your equipment?"

"You know, for a navy SEAL you sure aren't all that quick in the head, are you?" the manager replied. "Did you get in under some sort of special favour to your boy scout leader or something, McGarrett?" he grinned.

The two Americans exchanged glances. "That wasn't a no." Steve replied, trying to ignore the obvious ways the man was trying to stall them. "So the way I see it, you keep giving us suspicious answers, we'll keep working on making sure you go back to your country in cuffs and an orange jump suit." he threatened, coolly.

Mr. Philips smiled at Steve. "Wrong again! Men in prison in England don't wear orange. I would've thought you would know that, Commander. Unless you have never been to her majesty's fine land? It truly is beautiful. And, isn't that one of your service's mottos?" he just kept talking, letting the blood of the two men continue to boil. "Join the army, see the world? We'll, I'm not positive, but I'm sure it's something like that, anyway." He looked up directly at Steve, smiled, and then let it turn to a frown. "Boy, it's really sounding like you got a raw deal with your service to your country, Commander. No seeing the world, no sharp intelligence training. It's a shame, really. " he shook his head, waiting for Steve to take his bait.

Steve wasn't having it, though. He knew men in prison in England wore mostly green and yellow jumpsuits, and the last straw broke when he started talking like the army and the SEALS were just a bunch of average guys who wore camouflage and swam for something to do. "Listen to me, you pompous, entitled little bastard, it's time to cut the crap." he put his hands firmly down on the man's, and pushed his weight into them so that the Brit's hands were being forced into the cold, hard metal arm rest of the chair. "We know you panicked and called in your favours to get yourself out of this, so we know you're hiding something. The faster you tell us what that is, the less damage I do to your cheque writing abilities. And from what I can tell, you write a lot of big cheques."

That finally acheived a look of surprise from Philips.

"Oh, didn't think we knew about that, huh?" Danny asked rhetorically, just asked Kono came into the room.

"Steve." was all she said.

He looked at Danny. "Go, I've got this." his friend and partner assured him.

Steve gave Danny a quick look that implied he needed to go with.

Steve gave Vincent Philips one final ice cold glance before him and Danny followed Kono out of the room.

"This guy is definitely hiding something." He stood with his hands on his hips. "He's really getting on my nerves, Danny."

"Yeah, I know. You go deal with your stuff, and I've got him, don't worry about it."

Steve didn't move, staring into the door's small window at their suspect. "He got to Denning, and he knew I served. He's one step ahead of us, and we need to stop that."

Danny sighed. "I know, I know. I promise, I'll shake him down and make you proud while I do it."

Steve gave his friend an approving nod, knowing he was basically saying he'd do whatever it took to get the information they needed out of the their suspect.

He turned to Kono as Danny re-entered the interrogation room. "Where's Mary?" he asked shortly as they walked towards their offices.

"We still don't know, exactly, but Chin found out she got here yesterday afternoon." Kono replied as they walked down the hall.

"She's been here since yesterday?" Steve repeated, digesting the information.

"Yeah." she confirmed. "And there's more."

"Great." Steve replied, not sure how many more of these revelations he could take as they walked into the bullpen.
