Hey guys, you will need to stick with me this week, call it a filler chapter if you will. Time is going to fly (we have literally only been in this story for less than a month) November has given into December, and now the fun can start. For my little readers, I will warn you right now that things will be getting hot and heavy within the next few weeks so if you are under 17 I need to tell you to look away when you come to those scenes. LOOOKKKKK AAAAWWWWAAAAYYYYY! I won't dare tell you little ones to stop reading, because in a sense I'm writing this specifically for you.
(Even if it is an M rated fic)
Love, real world love, is the reason for the pace. It takes time to surrender your heart completely, to break down the walls, to build that trust.
I trust you all will heed my advice, *stared pointedly at the under 17s currently reading* I'm a mom... don't make me pull that hat out on here.
Well then, lets get to it!
My bag was packed and placed next to my knee high hiking boots by the front door; everything was prepared for my trip back to Fairy Tail, that is everything except me.
"I have to leave at some point, Rogue." I still couldn't believe three days had passed by so quickly, it felt like just a moment ago I was sitting on Rogue's bed agreeing to make our relationship a romantic one.
It still felt surreal, like I was trapped in one of my fantasies, one of my beautiful and steamy fantasies.
A part of me wondered when the alarm clock was going to wake me from my slumber, bringing the real world back down on me with the crushing weight that I had become accustom to.
Nothing in my life had ever felt this good, I had never felt this good.
At the end of the day I really didn't mind if it was a dream, for the simple fact that when I opened my eyes Rogue was still standing there with the kind of smile that made the rest of the world disappear.
I never wanted to wake up from this dream, not when the intensity of such simple things as his smile or the way he held my hand made my heart race. Rogue was becoming my favorite addiction, and leaving him was proving to be one of the hardest challenges I had faced in years.
We spent as much time together as we could over those three days, most of it was heavily laced with heated kisses and small bits of exploration. It was important to me now, to memorize as much of him as I could possibly bring my innocent self to do. Even in sleep, he held onto my hand, or stroked his fingers through my hair with such tenderness that it made me want to let things progress further. It was only my rational mind that saved me for jumping off that ledge, reminding me that once I crossed that bridge there was absolutely no way back.
My bravery extended as far as to ask that we take things slowly.
Rogue had laughed at my distress, and assured me that he would do whatever I need him to.
The choice to move forward was left entirely in my hands; Rogue would not press me to do anything I didn't ask for.
It was just one more thing about Rogue that made me want to stay by his side, to slowly break through the last barrier of my father's iron will.
I had cast off the shackles of high society a very long time ago, and it was high time I started playing by my own rules.
That all had to wait however, since it was time for me to head back to Fairy Tail.
I was less than twenty steps from the front door, but I couldn't make myself leave the warm embrace of the man who was sliding his soft lips up the line of my neck to my ear. The fact that I was still standing at all, was completely a victory on my part, but if he didn't stop, there was no way I was ever going to leave.
"It's insane how much I'm going to miss you." It wasn't helping my case that he kept whispering sweet things like that to me when he knew I needed to leave.
"I won't be that far, and you can call whenever you want." Hesitantly I pulled my hand up to run through his hair one last time, knowing how much I was going to miss feeling the inky black silk slip through my finger. "If I have a job that will keep me from talking, I'll call you before hand so neither of us will be blindsided."
"Do you really have to leave today, can't you wait just a little longer?" I shivered as his warm breath caressed my neck, just before his lips worked on the sensitive skin again. It was a delicious offer, and I really wanted to take him up on it, but I had made a promise.
"H-Happy is waiting, I can't disappoint him." It shouldn't have been so hard to say, but with the rough texture of his warm hands running along the flat plain of my stomach, I found my brain was starting to shut off. "I really have to go soon." It was nothing more than a whimpered plea, but it garnered the desired results. Rogue reluctantly pulled away, desire darkening his eyes to smoldering rubies. I wanted more than anything to lose myself in that gaze, but I knew I had to leave.
"Master Sting is fully intending on dumping a heap of work on me the second you leave; he's still pissed off about the broken nose." His hand slowly made its was down my arm so our fingers were laced together. "When I can get away I'll come to Fairy Tail."
"I like that idea." Without letting his hand go I walked over to the front hall, intent on getting my boots. "We could take turns, that might make it a little easier."
"Do you really have to go?" This time I had to laugh at how much he sounded like a little boy, disappointment laced through every word.
"Hell week is starting, so jobs are going to be hard to come by. I need to get back before all the decent paying ones are gone." After I had finished lacing up my boots I turned and reached up to smooth the crease in his brow with the tips of my fingers.
"Hell week doesn't sound like a pleasant event."
"The promotion exam is right around the corner, so everyone is trying to make themselves look worthy in the new Guild Master's eyes. Except me of course, I don't think I'm ready for responsibility like that." Rogue's lips pulled into a frown, as he gave me a very serious look.
"Something is missing." He tilted his head to the side, inspecting me for a long moment, eventually a smirk worked it's way onto his mouth. "Stay right here, don't leave till I come back." I nodded to let him know I would listen, and watched him head up the stairs as I reached for my jacket.
Winter was going to be harsh this year, I could feel it in my bones: the ache where they had once been broken always meant large storms.
I shifted uncomfortably at the thought of getting caught in a blizzard on my way back, but I knew I would make it so long as I had my trusty boots (and if worse came to worse I had Horologium).
How had December crept up on me so quickly anyway? It seemed like it was only yesterday that we were holding the Fantasia parade, and then I had shut myself away for roughly a month. Every day had felt so long while I was all alone, but here with Rogue, it was like time had been set to fast forward steadily slipping through my fingers.
"Come here." Rogue's voice pulled me back to the present; offering a soft smile I did as he asked. "Close your eyes." A light giggle bubbled up as I obeyed the command.
A moment passed, then I felt something soft and warm brush against my cheeks as a light weight settling on my shoulders. The strong aroma that clung to the man who had placed it there engulfed my senses. I didn't wait for him to tell me it was alright as I let my eyes open, taking in the rich red fabric that was wrapped up to my nose.
Rogue looked rather pleased with himself as he admired the scarf, or was it me that he was admiring?
"I have a scarf in my bag." I tilted my head giving him an innocent smile.
"What's your point?" Rouge raised an eyebrow in amusement.
"You don't need to give up your scarf, I have my own." He tapped his chin for a moment, and then a grin spread across his face. I watched as he swept past me and rummaged through my bag till he produced the scarf and wrapped it around his own neck.
"Now we're even." His grin made my knees buckle, but I fought it off.
"I can't argue with that logic." Playfully, I pulled the ends of the white scarf till he was close enough to give one last kiss. "Now I have to go or it will get dark before I get home."
Rogue leaded forward and kissed me again, a deep and full kiss that promised many more to come.
With one last embrace I walked out the door.
Anxiety was something I didn't enjoy associating with entering the Fairy Tail Guild hall.
My palms were slick from sweat, my pulse quickening as I imagined the possible confrontation that might take place, my mouth was dry enough to reduce my tongue to sandpaper that scratched the roof of my mouth uncomfortably.
I was terrified of seeing Natsu, completely terrified.
"Dammit Lucy, why are you being such a wuss?" I scolded myself. "You can do this, you can totally do this." The little pep talk did nothing to calm the sense of dread that had started to creep into my empty stomach. I have to get this over with, I have to face my fear and walk in there with my head held high. Screw Natsu and anything he might say to me; I can just ignore him. I can absolutely just ignore him!
I felt like an idiot for convincing Laxus to have Freed remove the collar, but I knew it was time. Fairy Tail was as much his home as it was mine. Natsu deserved to move forward as much as I did, and that could never happen if I allowed the rest of the guild to continue punishing him for something that was a personal matter between the two of us.
"Are you just going to stand there all day, or are you going to come in and have a drink?" There was a glint of humor in Cana's narrowed brown eyes as she slung an arm around my shoulders. "Welcome home."
"You know Cana, I really could use a drink right about now." Internally flinching at the nervous trill that worked its way into my voice, I nodded to her suggestion. I ignored the excitement that sparked to life in her big brown eyes, as she steered me to the main doors, glad to have an excuse to throw back at least one teeny tiny bottle of rum to ease the tension.
Natsu would seek me out at some point, it was going to happen, I just hoped it wouldn't be today.
"Hey guys, look what the cat dragged in!" I couldn't help but forget my nervousness as I entered the hall; a cry of 'Welcome back!' filled the empty space between my friends and myself, it was a feeling that I didn't even realize that I had missed.
Comfort and warmth washed over me in waves as Wendy and Levy rushed over to wrap me up in a tight group hug.
"I'm home."
"How long are you going to make us wait Lucy?" I had been back for less than a full week, and I had already gone on enough jobs to secure my rent for half a year.
Happy was extremely impressed with the vast improvement to the alternate magics I had been studying. I assured him that I had taken full advantage of his absense, focusing on studying while indulging on bon bons. He snickered at the small hint of embarrassment in my admission, and claimed that he now understood why I was so much heavier. That was the cause of a mini fight before we both dissolved into a fit of exhausting laughter.
I hadn't realized it before, but the heart ache had driven me to study harder than I would have under normal circumstances, and I had become more proficient than I had even first believed. It added to my growing list of good things that had come out of my messy break with Natsu.
It was something special to hear my little partner tell me how much he thought my skills had improved over such a short amount of time. Confidence I had only just begun to recover was boiling to the surface once more, making my smile brighter, and even my mood stayed more cheerful.
I had been able to dodge the questioning glares from the gang of women that wanted nothing more than to live vicariously through me, but it would seem that my run was finally over...
"Wait for what exactly?" I played it innocent as always, hoping that my female friends would forget there was a scoop to be had.
"DETAILS!" Mira whined as she set a plate of food in front of me. "You slept in his house for two weeks! Give me details, now!"
"His guest room was really nice. The kitchen was clean. He has a nice collection of book. There you have details." I gave Mira a bright smile as she rolled her eyes at me.
"Lucy, you need to at least tell us how the date went." Erza kept a steady voice, but her cheeks were as red as her hair.
"Yeah, at least tell us about the date." Levy pipped up.
"It really wasn't anything special, just coffee and cake." I decided that it was the most innocent of the several dates we had gone on after his return, and as such was safe to discuss with them. Erza's head would have exploded if she found out just how close Rogue and I had become over such a short period of time.
Just thinking about him made me instinctively bury my face into the soft folds of the scarf around my neck, longing for his scent.
"Nothing special my ass, you are practically steaming from the blush on your cheeks." Cana was getting serious, because she abandoned her barrel of wine, and it wasn't even close to being empty. "Stop trying to be coy and tell us what else happened."
"There might have been a kiss... or two." I said the second part a little more quietly Or a thousand, I lost count when we made it official. An involuntary sigh was all it took to get the girls to latch onto my statement like a dog with his bone.
"Hold it, what kind of kiss are we talking here? More of the cutesie peck on the cheek from the Master's Ceremony or did we breach into the full on make out zone?" Levy raised an eyebrow as I buried myself even deeper into the scarf.
"Holy hell, you actually got some didn't you?" Cana's eyes narrowed as she regarded me with suspicion.
"N-n-no, just kissing." I had turned every shade of red known to man kind, mortified that they were even discussing this at the guild.
The interrogation went on for three hours, and probably would have gone on much longer if it weren't for Master Laxus calling our attention.
The time had finally come to announce the candidates for the promotion exam.
It was the first time since I came back that I actually saw Natsu, and I really wished that I hadn't looked over at all. His expression was sour, his eyes locked onto the conversation I had been having with my friends before The S-class mages had been summoned to the stage. Instantly I knew that he had heard it all, and he was judging me, every detail of my outings with Rogue were getting scrutinized behind that steeled gaze.
The shadows under his hard forest green eyes made my blood run cold, knowing that he hadn't been sleeping.
I couldn't help feeling sorry for him, knowing that things could have been so very different had he chosen a different path. Those feelings evaporated quickly though, and were replaced with a gratitude that I would never openly express to him. If it weren't for the rejection, the pain and the misery, I might never have let Rogue in.
You could say that my relationship with Rogue was all thanks to Natsu.
Did that count as irony?
"One of you will be getting promoted this year since, not two like the past two years." Laxus looked out over the crowd of anxious mages, and I turned back to my warm tea with a soft smile. Our S-class mages were no joke, and I was certain I didn't even come close enough to those monsters to have my name on the list of people who were about to fight to join them.
"This year our nominees are as follows: Gray Fullbuster, Freed Justine, Elfman Strauss, Wendy Marvell, Laki Olietta, Levy McGarden, Max Alors, and Lucy Heartfilia."
"I really don't want to do this! I don't see why Laxus even picked me!" I pulled at my hair as I watched Rogue give me a soft smile through the lycrima.
"You'll be fine." I wished I could have been folded into his arms while he comforted me, but he was off somewhere near Bosco taking care of a job that would have him away till nearly the end of the month. "Give yourself a little credit, Lucy."
"I know, I'm just really hoping I don't have to face Natsu." He had been promoted the year before; his shift in personality after the games had made him more dependable than ever, and the constant vigilance he kept over me made him even more focused and dangerous if he wanted to be. "I would rather stand against Gildarts and instantly forfeit than face Natsu in a fight."
"I'm not going to pretend that the idea of you fighting against him doesn't scares the hell out of me." He ran a hand through his hair, his eyes flashing with shared anxiety. "It's just a test, you'll be alright so long as you keep your cool. I've seen you fight enough times to know that you can outsmart that imbecile if you focus."
"Keep your fingers crossed that I don't have to fight at all!" I giggled, feeling better after the little pep talk. "I won't be able to talk to you for a little while, I'm going to take this week of training super seriously. I should be back by the sixteenth if all goes well."
"What ever you need, good luck Lucy."
"Bye!" I let the connection cut off and rolled onto my back, a deep sigh of relief escaping me.
"Welcome Back!" I turned to Mira with curiosity; she had the biggest smile on her face as she waved toward the door. Confusion filled me; no one was out on a job yet since we had been celebrating the completion of the exams until the night before (most of the participants were still passed out around the guild hall). I let go of the tack that held the job flyer on the request board fully turning so I could inspect who was visiting.
The whole world seemed to slow down as I turned to see who had come in, half aware of the low growl emitting from my ex-partner (who had been trying to approach me for a third time that morning). It took all of two seconds to recognize the dark silhouette that was brushing fresh snow off his shoulders as the doors closed behind him.
My feet were moving before I found my voice, carrying me across the distance in record time.
I threw my arms around his shoulders, burying my face into his neck.
It had been the longest two weeks of my life, even if we stayed in touch for the most part, and having his scent fresh in my nose made all the tension in me evaporate.
"I've missed you, Rogue."
"I missed you, too." It was whispered against my hair as his arms closed around me in a quick hug.
"Fro wants to see Lucy now!" The little green exceed popped out from under Rogue's cloak right in between us, instantly burying his face in my chest.
"Hello Frosh." His warm purrs brought a giggle out of me as I patted the back of his head. "What happened to the job you were supposed to be on?" Rogue's eyes shifted to the side as he led us into the guild and right up to the bar where he wasted no time ordering a coffee for himself.
"Tell me how the exams went." The corner of his mouth twitched, and I knew something was up.
"Don't change the subject." I folded my arms over my chest, once Frosh was safe on the bar top.
"We finished up early, right Frosh?" I raised an eyebrow at the blatant use of the cute exceed to divert my attention.
"Fro wanted to surprise Lucy!" Frosh agreed as he nodded his head. "Rufus said girls like surprises."
"Rufus was right, girls do like surprise, and this one is the best." I patted his head affectionately again before turning back to Rogue. "I'm really glad I haven't left for a job yet; I was just trying to decide which one to take." Rogue shifted uncomfortably before taking a sip of the coffee Lisanna placed in front of him. "Was there something else you wanted to tell me?" He let out a slightly nervous laugh and an apologetic smile.
"The Moron and the Brat got into it pretty bad yesterday, apparently you spoiled him too much." I really didn't like the frown that was pulling at his deliciously tempting mouth like that. "Needless to say she is annoyed with you for it."
"I did no such thing." I shook my head vehemently, knowing that Sting's continual presence during Rogue's absence had been a very sensitive subject. "I was just being a good friend."
"I know you were, but Sting is a self centered bastard, who takes what he wants without thinking of the consequences. His new found obsession with you is getting on my last nerve, too." He ran a hand through his loose hair before turning a small smile on me. "He deserved that broken nose, and he'll get it broken again if he doesn't knock it off." I sighed, knowing that wasn't the best idea.
"Maybe it would be better to have Mira tutor Yukino. If she could just handle his apatite, I'm sure there wouldn't be a need for this displaced affection he has for me."
"Wait a minute here, what exactly am I 'tutoring' Yukino in?" Mira looked disturbed, her big blue eyes narrowed in distaste. She had been listening intently the whole time of course, she was Mira after all, and she was still hoping to get more details about the relationship between Rogue and myself.
"Cooking." Rogue and I both said at the same time.
Mira's cheeks grew pink, a sight that was extremely rare. Something was off in that mind of hers, and it must have been related to what I had said. I took a second to go back over my statement, then my eyes went wide with horror.
"Really, Mira?! Never in a million year! Don't even think it ever again!" Rogue was bristling as he put the pieces together, and he let off a low growl at Mira's assumption that I would do anything with Sting.
"So, Yukino needs a cooking class? I think that can be arranged." Mira looked toward the ceiling, completely avoiding looking at either one of us, before rushing off toward the back room. Rogue and I both shook our heads as Lisanna started to laugh and chase after her sister.
"Now, tell me how the exam went."
"It wasn't as bad as last year." Gray slipped into the seat next to me with an easy grin. "Lucy nearly got me in the last round, but brute force won in the end." He gave me a smug smile.
"It was a lucky shot, Gray." I leaned into Rogue's hand as he patted my head affectionately, trying my best not to fall off my chair as he pulled it away.
"Whatever you say Lucy, the point is, I'm S-class and you aren't." He stuck his tongue out at me. "I tried not to hurt her too badly." Gray added, addressing Rogue.
"Honestly, I'm sure Lucy would be insulted if you went easy on her." Discreetly his hand moved over to lace his fingers with mine.
"Don't worry, Gray came at me with everything from the beginning hoping he could knock me out quickly." I punched Gray in the shoulder. "He was an ass for assuming I was an easy target."
"Is that what you thought?" Gray raised an eyebrow at me, gently massaging the area I had hit. "There is nothing easy about you, Lucy."
"On that note." Rogue rolled his eye as I punched Gray again. "Look what I picked up on our way here." A copy of Sorcerer Weekly was dropped on the bar in front of me.
"I forgot it was getting released this week." Mira had finally come back, to clean her already sparkling bar top, the corner of her mouth twitching as she fought off a laugh. "The cover turned out really nice." I finished my appraisal, trying not to focus on the fact that I was on said cover.
"Open it to the center, Gray." Rogue looked rather smug for some reason, and I found myself captivated by the rustle of turning pages.
"Wow." I flushed to my toes as Gray unfolded the center section, revealing a horribly revealing picture of me. "Just, wow."
"I dare say this is one of your best, Lucy!" Mira chirped happily. "That's the second center fold this year, I am so proud of you!"
Rogue squeezed my hand gently as I pulled the magazine closer, intent on reading the little blurb at the bottom of the page where I expected my personal information to be listed. I bit my lip and looked out of the corner of my eye to see the grin on Rogue's face break into a full blown toothy smile.
So much for keeping our relationship private.
"This right here is worth a whole damn country filled with sadistic carnivorous plants that like to toy with their prey, Rogue." He laughed openly at our inside joke. "Goddamn gossips."
"At least we know why they were stalking you now." Rogue reached over and turned the page to show me what he meant. "Or I should say us."
I took a minute to inspect the sketchy pictures that were faded behind the words of the article boldly entitled 'Scandalous affairs of our Sweet Celestial Mage'. Jenny and Sherry were sandbagging my career as a model, using my relationship with Rogue as ammunition. My ears had taken on a hue of red that I didn't even know existed when I read the quotation of the remark I had made about my career being over. It was implied that Rogue and I weren't just starting to date, but that we were carrying on a secret affair while poor Natsu got left in the dark. Poor brokenhearted Natsu had lost a duel where I was the spoils, and Rogue whisked me away intent on having me join Sabertooth.
"I amend my statement, I'd take them all on bare handed. So much for keeping things low key." I heaved a deep sigh. "I never thought those evil women would stoop to such a level just for gossip's sake."
"I can't say I mind, other than the implication that Sabertooth needs to steal you." I rolled my eyes and playfully squeezed his hand. "It saves me a fair amount of trouble actually."
"I don't like that it's advertised so publicly, but I guess that's something I should have expected."
"What are you two talking about?" Gray raised an eyebrow, as I slide the article over to him. He scanned the page, then burst out laughing. "I knew there was a reason I liked you, Rogue."
"Do you mind sharing with the rest of the class?" Lisanna had an eyebrow of her own raised as she set a tray of empty mugs on the bar top.
"Let's take your stuff back to my place; then we can go do something fun." I ignored the others as I pulled myself off the chair, releasing Rogue's hand so that I could put on my jacket. "Happy, we'll go on a job another day!" I called up to the rafters where the cat had been watching the whole time.
"I'll come by for dinner!" Happy called back. "Make fish soup tonight for Frosh, he'll love it!" I threw him a soft smile, and a nod.
"Be home by seven or Frosh will get all of it."
December flew by in the blink of an eye; I couldn't believe it was already Christmas eve. Rogue and I sat cuddled up on my couch as I read through a book Levy had insisted I read, and he took a small nap. It had to be the most comfortable silence I'd ever experienced before, and I couldn't help but snuggle into his shoulder for extra warmth.
Frosh and Happy were both napping on the cushion that lay in front of my wood stove, their soft purrs only adding to the ambiance.
Life was perfect in that moment, everything was where it should be, and I was the happiest I could ever remember being.
Rogue shifted in his sleep, his arms snaking around my waist to pull me into a tight hug. I closed my book, and fully turned to enjoy the feeling of his warm, rough hands against the bare skin of me torso, pressing small kisses against every inch of his nearly bare chest that I could reach. He opened one eye, and then the other; I saw a glitter of amusement in their crimson depth before he shifted, pinning me under him on the couch.
"It's hard to sleep when you do that." He pressed his forehead against mine, his long bangs tickling my cheek.
"You needed to get up anyway, the Christmas party is in an hour." I giggled as he started kissing various parts of my face, working his way to my ear.
"We don't have to go if you want to stay in tonight." His words brought a brilliant blush to my cheeks, as a mix between excitement and anxiety fluttered like butterfly wings in my stomach.
"Erza would come drag us to the guild if we don't go on our own." I let my hands work over the surface of his shoulders, gliding down the sharp angles of the tense muscles along his back. "Trust me, she wouldn't even give it a second thought."
"Do I at least get you to myself tomorrow?" His kisses moved along the sides of my throat toward the center of my chest as his hands slipped up my shirt, his fingers blazing a dangerous trail of fire to the undersides of my breasts.
"Y-yes." I sucked in a breath as the warmth of his palm brushed over the thin material of my lace bra. It was only the second time he had done this, so the tingling sensation as my nipples constricted pulled a gasp out of me. Rogue's mouth stilled for a second, as a proud smirk rose up. My eyes went wide as he brushed his palm across the sensitive skin again, sending a pulse of heat through my body.
Oh my Star! Is he trying to drive me insane?
"Can I try something?" Words failed me at that point so I simply nodded my head, biting my bottom lip in anticipation.
His eyes turned back down to my breasts, his brow creased in concentration as his hands slipped behind me. Heat was already pooling in my lower region, every little innocent brush of his thighs against mine making the throbbing sensation more intense. I willingly moved to allow Rogue to pull my shirt over my head, so that he could get a better grip on his true objective.
If it weren't so alluring, I might have laughed at the small slue of curses he was directing at the clasp, or the small cheer when it finally came undone. My cheeks flushed as he slowly worked the straps down my arms, letting the full weight of my exposed flesh free. It was the first time I was allowing anyone to see me like this (by choice of course) and it brought up my insecurities about how far he had gone in the one and only relationship he had admitted to being in before this.
A sound I had never made before escaped through my parted lips as his warm, soft lips descended on the place no one but Rogue was allowed to touch. He shifted, his hands moving my legs so that they were wrapped around his waist. The pressure of his weight against the apex of my thighs was making it hard to stay still as his tongue and hands explored every inch of bare skin.
He is trying to drive me insane!
I had never experience something like that before, the sensation that he was trying to devours my essence, to drive me into a heated madness that wouldn't ever leave me in peace again. My body was moving on it's own, responding to the demands of his mouth, and the pressure of his stomach against my nether region. My back arched, and a moan that was husky and lush spilled out of me. A groan pushed his warm breath forcefully across the inflamed skin he had been suckling, causing my body to roll my hips.
My response brought his lips up to capture mine, his body sliding against mine till I could feel the curves of his hips pressed against mine. The throbbing increased as I felt the evidence of his own arousal press up against me. I hadn't planned for this when I picked my outfit earlier in the day, my skirt left me with no barrier other than the thin red lace of my panties and his own pants. Panic and excitement mixed into a tendril of confusion. My body wanted this, want to have the barriers removed, to have all of him against all of me, but my mind was screaming that I needed to stop this before it got too far.
Reluctantly I broke away from the kiss, gasping as his hips rolled into mine. I had to fight to get my wits about me before I could speak again.
"Shower." I was breathless as he let his mouth travel down my body again. "We - need to - go - to - the guild." It wasn't fair that he could do that to me, make my mind nearly shut off like that. I suppose he was experiencing something similar because he took a shaking breath before breaking away.
"I'll go first." I swallowed hard as I watched him go.
And there you have some steamy RoLu! I hope you liked it! Thank the ladies of CFLA for being my dirty inspiration! Next week will be even more fun, as I will be releasing a one-shot for our group V-day project (meaning you get your Wednesday chapter and a Saturday one-shot!). No, it's not going to be RoLu, but I hope you all read it anyway! Until next week! Supreme Leader Chrys Stone bids you good day!
