I'm back with a new chapter! Hope I'm not too late. I finished exams already so I got the time to write. To those that already read my story before this, I changed the title of the story. My story was called 'How I Met You' before and now I changed it to 'Falling In Love With You', as you can see for yourself. And also I changed my username. My username was amutoluverforever before and now it's amutoluver4ever. It's just a slight change. Chapter 10: What's this feeling? Love?
1 week later
Amu's POV
"Amu, can you get table 8?" my colleague, Aiko asked to me.
"Sure," I replied her.
I walked over to table 8. Seated there were a group of guys. There were three of them and they looked around my age or a little older.
"Hey cutie," one of them said with a wink. I rolled my eyes while took out my pen and notebook to take down their order.
I don't get why guys always flirt with me. It gets really annoying. I complained to Aiko once. She said guys do flirt with her too and it's good because we can get tips. I don't really like it though. But I usually just play along.
"Hi, what would you guys like to order?" I asked, faking a smile.
"I'll have coffee," said one of them said then wink at me.
"Vanilla ice-blended for me," another guy said, smiling at me.
"Let's see," the last guy said, looking at the menu. He was the guy who called me 'cutie'. "I'll have chocolate milkshake with you on top," he concluded with a playful smirk.
I rolled my eyes as I wrote down their orders. Of course, leaving out the last part, the last guy said. Guys like this are so ridiculous.
"So, one coffee, one vanilla ice-blended and one chocolate milkshake. Correct?" I read out the orders just to be sure. I always do that.
"Ah ah... You missed out something," the last guy said. "You."
I just ignored him and left the table. I gave the orders to the person in charge of making them and saw Aiko clearing a table and went to her.
"Hey Aiko, do you mind helping me take the orders the guys at table 8 ordered?" I asked. I really didn't want to go back there.
"Erm... Why?"
"Those guys creep me out. Especially one of them."
"Lemme guess. Someone ordered you again." She must have known. Most of the time when someone does what the guy did just now, I always ask her to help me.
I just nodded.
"Ok," she replied.
"Thank you, Aiko. I'll help you get the orders for your table," I said with a smile. I don't know what I'll do without her.
Ikuto's POV
Here we are again. Yoshida Café. From what I heard from Amu, Yoshida is the chef's name and also the owner of the café. We go there a lot. And we meaning - you know our gang - Utau, Rima, Yaya, Kukai, Nagi, Kairi and me. Amu isn't here because she is working. And where is she working? Right here. Yoshida Café.
We walked in and found a table big enough for all of us. It had a little number 10 at the side. Must be the table number.
I already knew what I want to order. I always order the same thing. Milk. They should really have strawberry milk though. I guess strawberry reminds me of Amu.
Amu. I'm still confuse about my feelings towards her but I know I will know my true feelings. Just whether it's sooner or later.
While the rest were looking at the menu, - though I don't really get why they look at it, they always order the same thing - I saw Amu. She was taking order from a table with a group of guys.
I suddenly felt jealous when one of them wink at her. That guy must have called her something like 'babe' or 'cutie' or something because she rolled her eyes. I don't know why I feel this way. Maybe this shows how I feel towards her or maybe it's all just confusing me even more.
One of the waitress came to take our orders. I think it's Amu's colleague that she talked about before. Ai-something. I didn't pay much attention. I was still looking at Amu's direction.
The rest of them ordered already except me. They asked me what I wanted. Didn't they know what I want?
"Milk," I said to the waitress. She wrote it down and left.
I continue to look at Amu. I slammed my fist on the table. Those guys were flirting with her.
"Woah!" Kukai exclaimed. "You ok?"
"Hmm?" I wasn't really paying attention to him too. "Not really."
"Why?"
"Those guys are flirting with Amu," I didn't really think. I just said it out.
"Since when you cared?" Rima asked. Even though I wasn't looking at her, I had a feeling she was raising her eyebrow.
I didn't reply her. I just continue to look at that direction.
"You like her, don't you?" Utau spoke up now.
Amu finally left the table. I turn back to them. "I... I don't know..."
"So you're confuse about your feelings towards her?" Nagi asked. Why does he have to be right?
"Maybe..."
"Woah... Tsukiyomi is falling in love?" Kukai teased. I didn't even do anything to stop him.
"Ikuto-kun is falling in love? Ikuto-kun never falls in love," Yaya gasped.
"Yaya, people do change you know," Kairi told her.
"Ok," she said. "So Ikuto-kun is changing. He is liking Amu."
"Hey guys, don't conclude anything so fast. I don't even know for myself. And please don't say anything to Amu," I said ending the conversation.
I looked around the café and saw Amu walking towards our table with a tray in her hands. The food must be ours. She looked so cute in her uniform. She was wearing a skirt that stopped just above her knees and a simple white blouse. It was simple yet nice and it looked comfortable for them to work in.
I was right that the food is ours. She must have asked her colleague for help with the other table which is a good thing.
Amu's POV
The orders for table 10 - the table Aiko took order from - were already ready.
I put all the food and drinks nicely in a tray. As I was walking to table 10, I can't help but notice the food looked familiar. Like this group of people always orders.
There was a cup of coffee, a slice of chocolate cake on a plate and 2 cans of soda. There was also a cup of tea with whipped cream on top, a cup of green tea and finally a cup of milk.
All these seem to match up. A cup of coffee for Kairi. Yaya always liked something sweet so the slice of chocolate cake is hers. The 2 cans of soda is for Utau and Kukai. Most of the time Utau follows what Kukai orders or sometimes the other way around. Those 2 are weird. The cup of tea with whipped cream on top is for Rima and the cup of green tea for Nagi. Lastly, Ikuto always order a cup of milk.
I reached table 10 and was not really surprise to see my group of friends sitting there. I knew it!
"Hi Amu-chi!" Yaya was the first to great me.
"Hi guys," I said with a smile. "I knew it was you guys."
"How'd you know?" Kukai asked with a cheeky smile. He had his arms wrapped around Utau's shoulders.
"The food you guys always order is the same."
"Yeah... I just realized that." Utau said looking at the food.
"Haha ok... Cup of coffee for Kairi and chocolate cake for Yaya." I said, passing it to them.
"Yay! Chocolate cake!" Yaya shouted excitedly causing a few heads to turn.
"Thank you, Hinamori Amu-chan."
I smiled back at them. Kairi was bring to formal. He calls me with my full name and a 'chan' at the back.
"Ok, soda for the couple. Tea with whipped cream for you, Rima. Green tea for you, Nagi." I carefully passed it to them as it was hot.
"Thanks, Hinamori."
"Thank you, Amu-chan."
"Thanks Amu."
"Last but not least, your milk." I took the milk and gave it to him.
"Thank you, strawberry." Ikuto said with a smirk. "You know, you should tell your boss that some customers suggest strawberry milk."
"Don't call me strawberry. And it's not some customers, it's a customer asked for strawberry milk. So just maybe, Ikuto."
"But strawberry milk is nice."
"Yeah whatever. I gotta go back to work."
"Hey wait!" Ikuto called. "Can you sing a song?"
"Heh? Why?"
"Come on. You can't turn down a customers request."
I sighed. We can't refuse a customers request. Sometimes customers request workers to sing or play the piano.
"What song?"
"Anything."
I went up the stage. I decided to play the piano and sing at the same time. I just sang a song that came in my mind.

I finished singing and there were clapping everywhere. I stood up and bow in front of the crowd. I came down of the stage and continue working.
It was already night time. Just about 2 more hours and I finish for the day.
I went to clear up tables, take down peoples orders and taking food to tables.
After 1 and a half hour later, my group of friends decided to go back to school. They sure can stay and chat for long.
"Hey Amu, we're going back first," Utau told me on their way out. "We'll see you later. You only have half an hour left right?"
"Yep," I replied.
"Ok. The guys are probably going to hang out in our room since we don't have classes tomorrow."
"Ok. I'll see you guys later."
I went back to cleaning the tables when I felt a presence behind me. I turn around to see Ikuto standing there.
"Hey, aren't you going back with the rest of them?" I asked.
"Well yeah... But I thought maybe I could wait for you."
"Wait for me?" I raised an eyebrow.
"Yeah... It's pretty late and you walked here, right? So maybe I can give you a ride back."
"Well, that's really nice of you but I think I'll be fine."
"You sure?"
"Yeah..."
"Ok. Give me call if anything happens."
"Ok. Thanks Ikuto."
He didn't say anything else and just left.
People all started to leave. After the last customer left, my colleagues and I cleaned up.
One by one my colleagues left. Now it's just Aiko and me.
"Hey Amu, I'm done. You want me to wait for you?" She already changed out of her uniform and her bag was sling on her shoulder.
"Nah... You can go home first. This is my last already." I was cleaning my last table.
"You sure? You're the last you know. Though the chef Yoshida is still in the kitchen. He'll lock up the café."
"Don't worry. I'm fine. You should go home and rest."
"Ok. I'll see you tomorrow. Bye," she waved her hands.
"Bye," I waved back.
I cleaned finished the last table and went to the back room where all if the workers keep our stuff. The room had table in the middle for us to eat lunch or dinner and there was lockers to put our bags and clothes. There was also a toilet attached to the room that is only for workers. The customers use the toilet outside.
I went in the toilet and change out of my uniform. I took my bag and went to the kitchen. I saw the chef Yoshida almost done with cleaning up.
"Chef Yoshida, I'll be going now." I called from the kitchen door.
He turned around and saw me. "Oh Amu, you're the last?"
"Yep."
"Ok then, you go back and rest. See you tomorrow."
"Bye. See you tomorrow."
I left the café and walk slowly. I wasn't in a rush and I was tired. I decided to take a short cut which had to go through the alley way. I went through there before. It's a little scary but that way was shorter.
I walked in the alley way. When I was half way through, I saw two dark figures. The closer I get, the more detailed the figures get. The two figures was two men. They look drunk. I'm quite sure they are. One of them was holding a beer bottle.
I just quietly walked pass them.
"Hey there!" One of them called out. I just ignored and continue walking.
The man grab my wrist and turn me around. "You sure are a cute one."
I started to panic. "Let go of me!"
Of course, he didn't. Instead, he pinned me to the wall of the alley way. I screamed for help but the man covered my mouth with his hands. I was struggling to free myself.
"There's no point pretty girl. I'm much stronger than you."
The other man was coming towards me. I was so scared. Someone help me!
Help me!
Ikutos POV
It's pass 10 minutes since the time Amu was suppose to be back. I was getting worried. I know it's only 10 minutes but a lot can happen in 10 minutes.
The rest of them was playing cards on the bed. They didn't even care.
"Hey guys, Amu's not back yet."
"So?" Rima replied. She always had that bored tone.
"What do you mean so? Maybe something happened to her."
"It's only 10 minutes later. She'll be back soon," Utau said
"A lot can happen in 10 minutes you know."
"Yeah sure," Utau said.
"I'm serious!"
"Relax, Tsukiyomi. We know you like Amu but don't worry, she'll be fine," Kukai said with a grin.
"Shut up, Kukai!"
"Just relax ok? Amu will be back soon. Join us," Utau said.
"No, thank you."
I sat down on the bed. Maybe nothing wrong will happen. I mean what are the possibilities that something bad will happen? Maybe she went a little window shopping. Maybe she decided to take a scroll in the park. Or maybe some drunk guy tries to rape her!
I couldn't just sit there. I got up and took my jacket and wore it over my t-shirt. I also took my handphone and wallet.
"Yo, where you going?" Kukai asked as I was heading out.
"I'm not going to just sit here and do nothing. I'm going to look for Amu."
"Uh ok..." Kukai replied and went back to the game.
I went out the dorm and heard Nagi called out, "be careful!".
I quickly took my car and the first place I drove to was the café. The café was already closed. I started from there and drove along the route Amu takes to walk back. There was no sign of her.
Then the thought struck me. Maybe she took the alley way as a short cut. That place is pretty dangerous. It's dark and no one really goes there. I headed to the alley way.
Once reached the front of the alley way, I parked my car and quickly got out. It was dark and I couldn't see anything. I started to walk in until I started hearing whimpering sounds. The deeper I went in, the whimpering sounds got louder.
I went closer and the whimpering sounds just got louder. I saw two men. One of them was holding a knife and the other was pinning someone against the wall. I squinted my eyes to look at the person. Suddenly, I saw a flash of pink. That could only be one thing, Amu. Even if it's not, I can't just leave whoever it is there.
The man that was holding the knife was blocking me from clearly seeing the person. I grab his shoulder causing him to turn around. I could see the person now. It was Amu. Her shirt was torn almost exposing her breast. The man was about to say something when I punched him. He fell to the ground causing the other man to look down and see what happened.
"Let her go," I shouted. Since the other man look down to see, I got the chance to punch him. He too fell to the ground.
"I-Ikuto!" Amu was shivering. She must be so scared.
"Hey, it's ok. I'm here." I said. I was about to take out my jacket for her when she yelled at me.
"Ikuto, watch out!" But it was too late. The first guy I punched got up and hit me. I fell to the ground.
"Ikuto!" Amu yelled.
I used all my strength to get up. I stood up to see the two men standing in front of me.
"You think you can beat us?" One of them asked.
"Why not?" I replied.
"We'll see about that." The other one answered and lunged forward to punch me but I swiftly dodged it. He ended up falling to the ground.
The other guy did the same and I caught his fist before he could hit me. I pushed his fist - the one that I caught - and he too fell to the ground.
The first guy that fell was getting up. While he didn't see me, I just punched him and he fell to the ground again. I did the same to the other guy which also cause the same thing.
I went over to Amu and took out my jacket. I put it over her, covering her up. I carried her bridal style and ran out of the alley way before the two men could get up again.
I ran to my car and put Amu down on the backseat, letting her lay down.
I rushed back to school and went to Amu's dorm room. Everyone looked shocked to see me carrying Amu.
"What the-" Kukai managed to say.
"OH MY GOSH! What happened?!" Utau asked. Can't they help Amu first?!
"Can you help her first?!" I shouted. I was pretty angry they weren't doing anything to help.
"Right... Sorry!" Utau said while rushing to clear the bed. I lay Amu down. Her eyes were closed. She must have fainted.
"You guys go out. We'll change her," Rima said while getting a small bucket of water and a cloth to clean her up.
We got out of the room and waited outside until Utau called us back in. Amu looked better and she was covered with her blanket.
We all sat on the other bed except Utau which sat next to Amu.
"So what happened?" The usually happy and hyper Yaya asked softly, almost like a whisper.
I took a deep breath and started telling them what happen. "I went to look for her and found her in the alley way."
"You mean the one that is like a short cut?" Nagi asked.
"Yeah, that one," I replied.
"That alley way is scary! It's so dark," Yaya said as she hid behind Kairi a little.
"Why would Hinamori Amu-chan be there?"
"I think she was using that as a short cut."
"Ok guys, stop asking questions. I want to hear what happened." Kukai said. He was always pretty impatient.
I continued telling them. "I found Amu was pinned by a man and another one man next to her holding a knife. Her clothes were already torn up when I found her."
"You mean like they were trying to rape her?!" Utau asked. She was really shocked.
"Looks that way," I said. She was trembling a little.
"What did you do?" Rima asked. She was shocked too. Heck, everyone was shocked even me!
"I beat them up and brought her back here." I took a glance at Amu. "Do you think she needs to go to the hospital?"
"I don't know. She have cuts but they're not very deep. I think she just needs to rest. We'll see what happens tomorrow," Rima told me.
"I can't believe that happened," Utau said. She was still recovering from the state of shock.
"Yeah... And you said nothing will happen, that she is fine."
"I didn't know, ok?!"
"Ok, but we can't be so sure next time."
"I think we should let Amu rest," Nagi said.
We all agreed and went back to our dorms. We all got ready and was now lying in bed.
I couldn't sleep. I kept thinking about what happen. It was scary. I couldn't think of how Amu must be feeling. She must have been so scared. I was so scared that she would have gotten hurt. I couldn't bear it.
At that moment, it hit me. I love her. I love Amu. I want to protect her. I don't want her to get hurt. And what happen just now... I couldn't bear to think of it. What if she got hurt? What if she was raped? Or what if those men took her away? What would happen if she was gone? I really couldn't bear it. I finally realize I love her. My real feelings for her is love.
