Hello guys… I know that you all hate me with every cell and fiber of yours but trust me… A lot has happened in my life. I just got separated from my beloved sister… People! She is very much alive but has headed off to college in another city and I will be telling a big lie if I say that I am not missing her… I am very sad and lonely. I have messed up my life big time and have been taking classes for medical right from 2 in the afternoon to 8 at night and then I have to give atleast 5 hours to self study and it's a miracle that I am able to pen down this chapter… I am sleeping at 4 in the morning almost every day and yea, I celebrated my birth day on 21 August! I am officially 16 people! Cool, no?
Okay before moving on, I would like to thank all of you for your continuous support and reviews and I am extremely sorry for not being a regular updater…! Hope you forgive me… Moving on, I can't pinpoint a single reviewer alone, so my heartfelt thanks to all those who have reviewed, followed and favorite my story.! Chapter 10: Fight, Karaoke and… Arian?PREVIOUSLY:
APOV:
He kissed me like anything. It was a very emotional kiss… He was such a damn good kisser and if possible, I think I am way too addicted to his kisses. The kiss felt like it had lasted for a good few hours but sadly it was just a few minutes. He raised his head and looked me straight in the eye.
"Ayano Kannagi… I love you, princess…"
"I love you too…" I replied as tears fell down my eyes. With that he again leaned in and kissed me.
I woke up the next morning to someone's humming… I slowly opened my eyes and my crimson eyes met Kazuma's chocolate brown ones. I blushed a deep red as I noticed my entire body entangled with Kazuma's body. I tried pushing back but that only seemed to challenge Kazuma into gripping me more firmly. His signature smirk was back on his face and for a moment I got lost in the beauty of his face and smile before I was shaken out of it by Kazuma's words…
"Why are you pushing me away, princess? Don't you remember anything of yesterday?"
"Huh?" Was my brilliant reply.
'Great! Now what the hell happened between us yesterday? Oh my God! He is talking about our confession of internal love, isn't he?'
I blushed crimson as that thought stuck me.
"Oh so you do remember that, huh? You moan quite loudly princess… I am sure that by now the entire Kannagi household knows of our love making! The wind finally tames the fire!" Kazuma replied with a laugh.
"So what if I moan loudly while we're kissing? It's like you don't moan out at all!" I replied with a huff.
"Princess, I was talking about love making and not making out with our tongues… Love making as sleeping in a bed without wearing any…"
"WHAT?!" I shouted as his words seeped in.
"No way! I don't remember sleeping naked with you! How is this possible?"
"How is what possible?" He asked with a raised eyebrow
"Sleeping and making out with you and not remembering it! Its something that I wouldn't have forgotten even if I was having a severe case of Alzheimer!" I shouted and as soon as the words left my mouth, I covered my mouth and blushed 10 shades of red. Kazuma burst out laughing and then leaned in and whispered…
"If you want I can make you relive the moment again?"
I turned beetroot and he simply closed the distance between our lips and kissed me. Without wasting a moment I deepened our kiss when suddenly someone cleared their throat. We instantly jumped apart and I looked up to see my dad standing there at my room door, trying pretty hard but failing to stifle a chuckle.
"I must stop catching you both while you are sharing a moment!" Jugo said with a small smile.
"Dad! Its nothing like that…" I replied as I hid my face in Kazuma's well built but bare chest. Kazuma burst out laughing and replied.
"Sure as hell Jugo, I am ready to bet that you were eavesdropping on us from behind the door! Anyways, we'll be in the meeting room in 10 minutes maximum!"
"I doubt that but still I'll be waiting… and yeah, Kazuma, you make me sound like some old man who is making sure that her daughter is having the time of her life with the man she loves!"
"Dad! What has gotten into you today?" I roared. Jugo simply chuckled and waved good bye to them before exiting Ayano's room.
"Sometimes dad can go as insane as Jack Sparrow in The Pirates of Caribbean!" (A/N: No offense Mr. Jonny Depp, I must confess that I am a very big fan of you and your big eyes… They are mesmerizing!)
"Hahahahahaha! Madness does run in your family, princess!" Kazuma retorted before rushing off and shutting the bathroom door leaving an angry and fuming Ayano cursing out loud at him and giving some very vulgar but hair raising death threats to the contractor and the man she loves!
They reached the meeting room after about half an hour with Kazuma and Ayano in a heated and angry discussion… Sorry… With Kazuma wearing his signature smirk and Ayano in her signature angry mood with a flailing Enraiha being used to burn Kazuma.
"What happened, Ayano?" Jugo asked with a sigh
"Father! Kazuma is saying that we both made love yesterday night but I don't remember a thing…" Ayano replied with her hands curled into fists.
"Ayano… This is something I can't help you with… I am sorry but Kazuma can only answer this question…"
"You too are betraying me, Father?"
"It's not about betrayal, Ayano but it's about something much deeper and meaningful than that… Anyway I have a job for you two…"
"What is it, father? You look worried…"
"Oh nothing like that… It's just that our close family friends are coming tonight with their son who is soon going to be the future head… And Ayano I have some job to complete. So, I want you to entertain and accompany him everywhere…"
"A few details will help me make a the correct decision, father." I replied as I bit my lip.
"Okay… Their family belongs to the water magic user, they are from Italy and their son is roughly around Kazuma's age. And his name is Arian."
"Okay father… I will accompany Arian wherever I can and father, do I have to give him company alone or is Kazuma on this job with me?"
"…hmmm… It's up to Kazuma. If he wants to accompany you then I have no objection. What say, Kazuma?"
"Sure, Jugo… But about payment…"
"Why should we pay you Kazuma? This is your choice and not ours, so you won't be making out a penny from this job!" I shouted.
"Princess… You don't get my point, do you? You are a disaster magnet and I am sure that by the end of the day it will be me saving you from the clutches of an evil youma or something along those lines…" Kazuma swiftly got up and ran towards the door. Ayano screamed at top of her lungs before running behind him with her flailing Enraiha.
LATER…
"That idiot will never grow a brain. I wonder how he survives without a brain! And I am going to make him pay for what he has done… Argh! I am almost an hour behind the schedule… Because of him I couldn't even go to the airport to pick up Arian and his family! What will they think of us and our hospitability skills and manners?! You will pay, Kazuma!" I growled when suddenly I heard laughter from the guest room and immediately knew that the family has arrived. I quickly applied gloss before rechecking my look in the mirror and finally left my room to greet the guests.
As soon as I entered the room I was hit by the sweet fragrance of an unidentifiable perfume… The fragrance was overwhelming and I just wanted to moan out loud but I constricted myself with a lot of self control. I finally faced the family and was astounded by their beauty. I stopped gawking and quickly bowed to hide my blush.
"Ahh princess… So, you finally arrive! You took quite a time pampering yourself and getting dressed! I was thinking of breaking down that room door of yours and kidnapping you…" Kazuma replied, I saw red as soon as I heard Kazuma's insulting words. I quickly looked up and gave Kazuma a death glare… We did have some old scores to settle…
"KAZUMA! I swear if you utter another word, I am going to burn that face of yours!" I threatened him.
"C'mon princess! Don't you get tired of making such useless hollow threats and then chasing me afterwards but always grabbing disappointment? Even I am bored of it now!" Kazuma replied with a yawn
"You bastard! I swear I am going to settle all our old scores right now, right this minute, you freaking pig head and asshole!" With that I summoned my Enraiha and charged towards him.
He dodged all my attacks and I screamed out in frustration and then with a sigh, I dismissed my Enraiha. I hung my head down and was waiting for the time when Kazuma would near me, then using the old Karate trick I would take him by surprise and fling him some 10 feet or so and then attack him with my fire blade and burn off a few parts of his body… This was a perfect plan!
I heard footsteps and as soon as, the supposed he, placed his hand on my shoulder, I flung him off the ground and then I quickly materialized my Enraiha and placed the edge of the sword on his throat but to my surprise it was Arian's throat and not Kazuma's! Suddenly Kazuma's laughter filled my ears and I looked up and I glared daggers at him… If looks could kill!
I quickly dismissed my Enraiha and bent down to get a good look at Arian's burnt throat.
Arian had killer looks! He had black hair and startling green eyes. He had quite a build and was around 6'3''. He had a charm of his own and his looks could melt anyone.
I brushed my fingers lightly over the burnt flesh and then without wasting a beat, I leaned forward and blew a little on his throat before kissing it… Realizing what I had done, I quickly stood up and hid my face in my hands!
'Great idiot! Way to make an entry and make a guy feel comfortable! I am sure he must be feeling sexually threatened right now! Argh! This is all Kazuma's fault!'
I looked at Kazuma and saw him glaring at me and that guy! Great! I put a glare of my own and this seemed to piss off Kazuma even more.
"Ayano can we talk for a minute please…" Kazuma growled
"No way, you jerk… I'd rather apply some ointment on Arian's burnt throat than talk to you!" I screeched
"Ayano Kannagi, I demand a short talk with you right now!"
"I am not your slave!"
"Ayano! I never said you were… Princess please… I… Fine its up to you… You wanna talk then come else…"
"Else what?" I asked with a raised eyebrow
"Whatever!" With that Kazuma walked away…After Kazuma walked away, I helped Arian up and applied some ointment on his burnt skin.. I even apologized to him but he dismissed it away with a wave of his hand. We both walked towards the karaoke bar and by the time we reached there, I had told him everything that had till now happened between me and Kazuma… Strangely I trusted him a lot…
"Ayano, how do you feel about this?" He asked taking a sip of his coke
"About what?" I asked with a confused look
"About Kazuma…" I gave him a long look before opening my mouth to answer
"Honestly, I… don't know!... I love him… But he always finds a reason to get on my nerves… He irritates me to no end and… and I… He embarrasses me all the time."
"Ayano, Kazuma just wants your attention and he is equally in love with you…"
"How can you say so?"
"Well for starters he confessed his love to you…"
"As if that was helpful! He is a player, Arian…"
"Ayano, Kazuma is not the kind of guy who will confess his love to anyone until or unless he certainly feels that way…" Arian said with a serious tone
"You barely know him, Arian…"
"Some things us guys share in common, Ayano!"
"Give me some other believable reason…"
"Okay… You saw how angry he got when you gave me a peck? No guy gets angry until or unless the topic includes something about his girl or… his favorite team losing the match…" He replied with a smile
"So, you think Kazuma was angry because I pecked your neck?"
"Silly Ayano! I am shocked that you hadn't figured that out by now!"
"Hey! I had that known I was just…"
I was cut in by an announcement by the all too familiar voice…

I didn't wait for him to come down from the stage, Arian gave me a simple nod and with a tear stained face, I ran towards on stage and without wasting a moment, I slapped Kazuma hard and the slap echoed for a few seconds before I pulled his face in a kiss… A hot kiss and to say that he did nothing would be dumb… He responded as passionately… I pulled back and muttered…
"That was sooo unlike Kazuma…"
"I know… But I just figured that being the old jerk self pushes you away from me… So, I was trying a new me…"
"So, do you love it? I mean love the new you…?"
"Honestly… I am gonna miss your running behind me with your Enraiha and curses and threats…"
"So, I should take it as a yes."
"Whatever you wish it to be, love."
"hmm… Are you sure you are Kazuma?"
"I can prove it to you in a bed!" I blushed a deep red and pushed him back but he steadied himself and with a playful growl attacked me and my lips…
It was going to be an interesting evening…!
Arian's POV:
It is going to be an interesting night… Jugo will be quite pleased...
APOV:
Kazuma is acting way too weird today! He just doesn't sound himself anymore!
So, guys… How was it? I know my writing has gotten a little raw and rough but that's how it is. I know I made you wait for a long time but trust me, it was completely unintentional… A split second decision got me stranded on an island filled with piles of books and medical terms and to be honest… I am not enjoying that at all… I just feel like leaving everything behind and starting afresh but that's wishful thinking. Sometimes depressing thoughts fill my mind and I feel like fainting but now I have made myself somewhat resistant to them… So, I hope you understand and don't pick on me… I know I am worthless!

Also you know… A classmate of mine has started stalking me! He is a complete pervert and I seriously wanna kill him! He is a total… he… argh! How do I explain you all! He has made my life hell!
