"Let go of me!" Yugi kept squirming in Bear's grasp but still to no avail as Yugi was still so little compared to the beast that was carrying him.
"Stop it unless you want another thump on the head!"
Yugi's head throbbed from remembering the first blow he got back at the cave and laid limp in his carrier's grasp. He could hear a snicker coming from Bear as reassurance that he won't get hit. Bear continued down the hall until he came to an abrupt stop in front of a door and then entered through it. Yugi looked around the room and could see that it was like any other room, there were nicely painted walls, carpet and grand windows that shone the beautiful sunlight through. The room was basically bare except for a bed which just so happens to be the object that Bear was approaching. He swings Yugi over off his shoulder and plonked him onto the bed. Yugi tried getting up but was pushed back into the mattress by Bear's hands.
"Let's get one thing straight here. You are not leaving here, you're our prisoner and we've gone through all the extra measures to ensure that escape is futile. So don't bother otherwise we'll hold you in a cold hard cell instead of this soft warm room," Yugi nods, "Good".
Bear flips Yugi onto his stomach and yanks him closer to the bed head. He reaches to the side and picks up an object that is connected to the post. It rattles under his grip and Yugi realises what it was. They were cuffs. Bear latched one of the cuffs onto Yugi's wrist and secured it tightly. Yugi yelped in pain but all Bear did was do the cuff tighter. After Bear was sure that the cuff was secure, he started to untie the binds that were binding Yugi. After the ropes were removed, he flipped Yugi back onto his back and reached for the cuff hanging on the other post.
"I THINK ONE IS ENOUGH! DON'T YOU?" the screeching voice of Rebecca could be heard. Yugi and Bear both look towards the door and could see Miss Hawkins, hands on hips with that infamous scowl on her face.
"I'm only doing what I was told miss."
"I don't care, I am telling you the one is enough. He can't go anywhere, the door is always locked, there are armed soldiers stationed all around and thirdly, he would never want to leave this place now he knows that I'm here."
"Yes ma'am, I'll be off now."
Bear got up and made his way out the door, leaving Rebecca and Yugi, who is cuffed to the bed, alone in the one room. Yugi was feeling very uncomfortable as Rebecca eyed him up and down from the doorway and then slowly approaches the cuffed Yugi. Yugi sits straight up on the bed and tries to wiggle his wrist out. He was unsuccessful.
"Oh Yugi, I'm so glad you are here now we can spend even more time together!" squealed Rebecca as she climbed onto the bed. Yugi tries to nudge over on the other side of the bed as far as the cuff would let him but that doesn't stop Rebecca. She climbs on top of Yugi and saddles him while giggling like a school girl.
"Rebecca, what are you doing?"
"Just spending some quality time with my schmoofy."
"Well, uh, Rebecca, that's sweet and all but you see…"
"Shhh…." Rebecca silences Yugi with a finger on his lips. "You don't need to confess your feelings, I already know what you're going to say." She then wraps her arms around him and starts to nuzzle on his neck like before.
"No, Rebecca that's not what I mean…"
Rebecca slowly pulls away and eyes Yugi's lips. She's wanted to do this for so long and now she finally gets the chance. She grasps onto Yugi's face and starts to bring her lips closer to his. Yugi tries to pull his head back but can't go very far because of the bed head. Their lips were mere centimetres away.
"Rebecca that's ENOUGH!"
Rebecca whipped her head around to see her furious grandfather at the door. She slowly climbs off of Yugi and plants both feet back on to the floor.
"You remember my plan right?"
"Yes grandpa"
"And you know that nothing can happen to Yugi for when his friends get here right?"
"Yes grandpa"
"Then why are you ruining your grandfather's plans of world domination?! Do you want this to fail? Do you want to go to jail for kidnapping and murder?" (Yugi's POV: WAIT MURDER)
"I…I…gra…nd..pa…I" Rebecca starts to sob but her grandfather doesn't flinch with emotions.
"Wolf!" the professor yells out and in a few short seconds Wolf appears next to him, "Please take my granddaughter to her room and make sure she stays there. She obviously can't control her urges. With that being said, Rebecca goes out into the hallway with Wolf following her. Once they were a fair distance away, the professor comes into the room and closes the door behind him.
"My apologies for that Yugi, you know how girls are. Anyway, how are you feeling?"
"HOW AM I FEELING?! Well how would you feel if you were kidnapped, knocked around like a rag doll, been seduced by a sadistic girl, find out that your friends are seeking for world domination and that your best friend may be in serious trouble when he comes to your rescue?!"
"Well, I don't know because I'm not you." The professor snickers at his remark. "Now don't get too comfortable Yugi because when you're friends get here, that's when the real fun begins."
"What do you want with the Pharaoh?"
"You'll have to see in due time Yugi, all in due time"
Yugi was glaring back at the professor and couldn't believe what he was hearing. A person who he considered as a friend has ordered his kidnapping and plans on world domination. It is just so hard to believe. He is more worried on the fact that once his friends get here it's all over, he has to figure a way out and fast so he can get to his friends first before they get to him.
"Well I'll leave you to you and your thoughts cause very soon you may not have that opportunity. Ta-ta"
"Wait! Stop! What do you mean?"
There was no reply from the professor but rather a thud of the door and then Yugi realises he is by himself in his confined room. Though, lucky for Yugi no one noticed what he did when Rebecca was on top of him. Yugi reaches underneath himself and pulls out a set of keys, keys that he hopes unlock his cuff.
"I hope this works" Yugi said aloud. He starts fiddling around with they keys and seeing if any would fit in the hole. One by one none would work and just when Yugi was about to give up, a key finally fit and Yugi was rubbing his now free wrist.
He got up off the bed and started looking around hoping that there is a phone. None. He revisits all the events that happened today in his mind, from the duel to now and becomes saddened.
"Ugh, pull yourself together Yugi, this is no time to be sad you have to find a way out of here, now let's see" Yugi walks towards one of the windows and looks at what is outside. A thought suddenly hit him when he saw what was outside. Back in the cave, he can vaguely recall one of the goons telling the pharaoh that if he wants to see him again, he is to go to the three pyramids by midnight or else. But looking outside, Yugi can tell that they are not at the three pyramids or anywhere near them, in fact, he can tell that he is in Domino City. He can tell because from the window height, he can see the game shop a few blocks away.
What's going on here. Did they lie to the Pharaoh? Do they purposely not want the items by midnight? Anyway I have to get out of here.
Yugi opens the window and looks down, he smiles as he can see that a few flights down there is a ledge that he can reach to get out of here but how. He looks around the room and it hits him. He rushes to the bed and starts to pull all of the sheets off and tying the ends together to make a giant rope. Once he believed his 'rope' was safe enough and attached to something sturdy, he starts to climb out of the window gripping tightly otherwise he would fall to his doom.
Slowly but surely, Yugi slowly makes his way down, each step made with careful consideration but at one point his foot slips and ends up dangling for dear life. During this terror, Yugi for some reason looks up at a sign on the building and somethings start to make sense to him.
The goons weren't lying about where to meet in fact they were telling the truth but we all just made assumptions about the three pyramids. They didn't say to meet at the the three pyramids of Egypt but rather the three pyramids office building in Domino city.
Back inside the room, Wolf and Eagle come into the room with a tray full of food but they realise that Yugi is no longer cuffed on the bed but rather escaping through the window. They drop the food and rush to grab the rope sheet and start to pull Yugi back inside the building.
Great, I was too slow! I can't go back in but I'm too far away for a safe landing on the ledge. PHARAOH PLEASE HELP ME! IM IN DOMINO CITY AND I DON'T FEEL SAFE! I HAVE A FEELING THAT SOMETHING TERRIBLE IS GOING TO HAPPEN!
"Quickly you fools bring him back up, I need him!" the professor has also returned to the bedroom when he found Wolf and Eagle pulling Yugi back into the room.
"Nice try you little runt" Eagle grunted as they hoisted Yugi back into the room and held him down tightly on the ground.
"I guess you can't be left alone in this room, oh well, I tried to be civilised and offer you my hospitality but you went ahead and threw it in my face. Well no more mister nice guy. Boys bring him to my office, I know he'll won't be able to escape there." The professor exits the room and when the boys were sure he was gone, Wold grabbed a bottle and cloth out. He soaked the cloth with the bottle's liquid and shoved the fabric to Yugi's face. Yugi tried to wriggle his head away free but soon succumbed to the oncoming darkness that is surrounding him as he realises that the contents of the bottle are in fact chloroform.
Pharaoh, please…
Yugi completely blacked out, and Wolf carries Yugi out towards their boss's office, towards the impending doom.
