Amy's POV

It's the weekend. I had to take a few days off of work. I had morning sickness. That's the worst part of being pregnant. It was Saturday and I was thinking that it's time to tell everyone about our second child. I didn't have my baby bump yet, but I will soon. I was so excited. I had that joyful feeling running inside of me.

"Sonikku." I called out.

"What!? Anything wrong!?" Sonic asked running into our room.

"N-No... I was just wondering if we could go out to dinner with our friends."

"Sure! Are you going to tell them about the baby?"

I nodded my head and smiled. Sonic grinned and walked towards me. He sat on his side of the bed and pulled out his phone. He dialed a number and put the phone up to his ear.

"Hey Tails! How would you like to go out to dinner tonight?" Sonic asked over the phone. "Great! See you there!"

Sonic hung up and looked behind me. He turned back around and dialed more numbers. Soon, Sonic put his phone and sat on the bed.

"Looks like we're going to dinner!"

Sonic turned on his side and looked at me. He lifted up my shirt and put his hand on my stomach. I notice Sonic wasn't taking his eyes off of my stomach. I was about to say something, but then the baby monitor went off. Sonic pulled his hand away.

"I'll get him."

Sonic ran into Flash's room. He came back with Flash in his arms. Sonic set Flash down on the bed. Sonic took the clothes off of Flash.

"I hate doing this." Sonic said.

I laughed a little. Sonic changed Flash's diaper. Sonic was a good parents. I wonder why he didn't want to have another child. He's the best father I know! Sonic put Flash's clothes back on and lifted him into the air.

"There we go!" Sonic said.

"You're a great father, Sonic."

"Thanks and you were great giving birth."

Sonic, Flash, and I all took a shower. I gave Flash a bath in the sink. While I did that Sonic took a shower. I couldn't help but look in the mirror and watch Sonic. I dried off Flash and put his clothes on.

"Alright, you have two hours." Sonic said wrapping a towel around his waist.

"I don't take that long." I said taking off my clothes.

Sonic took Flash and held him in his arms. He turned Flash away from me as I took off my clothes.

"I wish you weren't pregnant." Sonic said.

"Well in 9 months I won't be."

I took off my underwear. I wagged my tail at Sonic got jumped in the shower. Sonic turned around and put Flash on the bed. He turned on the TV and Flash's eyes were glued to the TV.

Soon, it was dinner time. All of our friends were there waiting for us. Sonic drove a little slow cause I got a little car sick. He parked the car. I got Flash out of the car and we walked towards the building.

"Hedgehog." Sonic said at the front desk.

"Right this way."

We followed the lady. Everyone was glad we made it. We took our seats.

"We order your drinks." Cream said.

"Thanks!" Amy said putting Flash in a high chair.

Everyone talked and we order our food. It was a long wait for our food since there were a lot of us. We talked on and on. Our lives were so different. Everything was changing between us. We had to get together more often.

"Guys... I have to tell you something." I said.

Everyone quite downed and looked at me. They all had smiles on their faces.

"I'm pregnant." I said.

Everyone gasped at what they heard. They all started to talk at the same time. Sonic calmed everyone down.

"Way to knock her up again!" Knuckles said.

"Knuckles! There are kids here." Tikal said.

Emerald and Miles both looked at Knuckles. They laughed at what Knuckles had just said.

"Wow dad." Emerald said.

"Time for the talk." Carter whispered.

"Food!" Silver yelled.

Everyone moved things out of the way for their plates. Everyone got their orders.

"Amy, that's wonderful! I can't wait to meet them!" Jasmine said.

"Thanks. I can't wait." I said.

"That's reminds me!" Blaze said. "Silver and I are-"

"Pregnant! Oh Blaze!" Cream said.

"N-No." Silver said. "We're going to adopt a child."

"Dude! That's awesome!" Sonic said high fiving Silver.

Everybody started to talk about the two new family members. Everyone knew it was about time for Silver and Blaze to have kids come into their lives. Flash didn't understand what was going on with the family. A new family member. I hope Flash doesn't get jealous about the new baby. Sonic and I would have to focus on two kids instead of one. Now I'm getting nervous. Now I know how Sonic felt!

1 month later (Amy's POV)

It's been a month later. I got my baby bump! Every other morning I would be stuck in the bathroom throwing up. I knew it was coming this time though. At first Sonic was freaking out, but then he knew what to do. He would always pull my hair back and make sure I was alright before taking Flash over to Silver and Blaze's house and going to work. I knew this was all part of the process, but something just felt different. Maybe I was going to give birth to a girl! I wouldn't mind another son though.

"Thanks again Silver! Here." Sonic said pulling money out of his pocket.

"Oh no! No money! This is free!" Silver said.

"But you and Blaze have been watching Flash for the past-"

"No, now go. I don't want your dirty money."

Silver turned Sonic around and pushed him away from his house. Sonic carried Flash in his arms and they got in the car. Sonic put Flash in his car seat and got in the driver's seat. Sonic waved to Silver through the window and backed up. Once they were in the streets, Sonic began to drive home.

"So Flash... A new baby... Are you excited?" Sonic asked.

Flash didn't say anything. He just starred at Sonic with his big eyes. Sonic looked in the rearview mirror at Flash. He shook his head.

"What am I doing? I'm talking to my son who can't talk yet. Mommy and daddy are having another child, Flash." Sonic said in a baby voice. "That baby voice!"

"B-Babby..." Flash stuttered.

Sonic stopped the car and looked back at Flash.

"You talked!" Sonic said reaching to pat Flash's head. "We gotta get home and tell mommy!"

Sonic pushed on the gas petal and drove home. Once they were home Sonic grabbed Flash and ran inside. They heard the TV on in the living room. Sonic ran into the living room and notice I was sleeping on the couch.

"Amy! Guess what!?" Sonic yelled waking Amy up.

"W-What?" I asked sitting up.

"Flash talked in the car! He said 'babby'."

"Oh Flash!" Amy said grabbing Flash from Sonic. "Mommy is so proud of you!"

"Babby.." Flash said sticking his tongue out.

I hugged Flash. I was so proud of him! I picked up him and sit him on my lap. I poked his nose.

"They grow up so fast!" I said.

"Yea... Just wait for those teenage years." Sonic said sitting next to me.

"Oh yea! That will be fun... Not!"

Sonic and I both laughed. Flash laughed with us even though he didn't know what was so funny. Anyways, once that was done, Sonic and Flash played in the living room together. I made dinner. My stomach was hurting a little, but I didn't let it get to me. Soon, dinner was ready and we ate at the table.

"So, how was your day?" I asked feeding Flash.

"Good. One of my runners had a child."

"Aw, that's sweet!"

Sonic grinned and poked his front into his food. Sonic couldn't stop thinking about their second child. He started to develop 'what if' questions. What if the baby becomes a twin? What if the baby doesn't like him? What if the baby can't talk? What if the baby comes late? What if the baby comes out to early!? All these questions were giving Sonic a headache. He pushed away his plate.

"I gonna do some work." Sonic said leaving the table.

Sonic left and I cocked her head. I didn't know what was up with Sonic. I left it, knowing he didn't want to talk about it. Once I was done feeding Flash I washed all the dishes. I carried Flash upstairs and gave him a bath. He liked water better than Sonic did.

"Good night, Flash. I love you." I said kissing Flash goodnight.

I turned on his night light and cracked his door. I walked downstairs and went into Sonic's office. I knocked on the door as I walked into the room. Sonic was typing on his laptop.

"I'm going to bed. Flash is already sleeping." I said.

"I'm coming right now." Sonic said closing his laptop.

Sonic took off his black glasses and rubbed his eyes. He pushed back his chair and stood up. Together, Sonic and I walked upstairs. We kiss each other goodnight and fall asleep.

A few hours pass by. It was a good nights sleep. I woke up feeling wet between my legs. This used to happen when I was pregnant with Flash. I turned, making sure Sonic was sleeping. I crawled out of bed. I grabbed my stomach once I stood up. There was so much pain. I rushed into the bathroom closing the door. I pull down my pants and my eyes wide.

"AHHHH!" I screamed.

Sonic sits up fast from hearing the scream. A flash of lighting goes by as Sonic opens his eyes. The baby monitor starts to go off. Sonic grabs the monitor and shut it off. He runs out of the room and gets Flash. He brings Flash into his room and notice Amy isn't in bed. Sonic hold Flash close to him and pats his back. Sonic walks towards the bathroom and he opens the door.

"Ames? What's wrong?" Sonic asked seeing me crying.

I didn't answer Sonic. I couldn't talk at all. I was sitting on the toilet. Sonic walked over to the bathtub and set Flash in it so he couldn't get away. Sonic walked over to me and bent down. He puts one of his hands on my knee.

"Ames, what's wrong?" Sonic asked.

"I-I need to go to the hospital!" I said crying.

Sonic was about to say something, but I stopped him. I opened my legs. My legs were shaking. I couldn't believe this was even happening right now! Sonic covered his mouth as he saw blood in the toilet. Sonic knew I couldn't be on my period because I was pregnant. Sonic left and went to get me new clothes.

"Here, we're going right now!" Sonic said.

I changed my clothes. We got in the car and went to the hospital. Right away we got moved into a room. A nurse took off my pants and I had to open my legs again. Flash was trying to make me smile, but nothing worked. I didn't know what was happening to my body. Sonic held my hand as the nurses worked down there. Soon, the doctor came in and notice everything that was happening.

"I'll be back." The doctor said leaving the room.

I cried again. I hit my head on the pillow. I didn't have my legs open anymore, which was good. Tears were rolling down my cheeks. Sonic wiped them away. Sonic set Flash in my lap. I grinned and hugged Flash.

"Alright Amy." The doctor said.

"What happened to our baby?" I asked.

"I'm sorry but, the baby died." The doctor said. "I don't know what it died from, but they didn't have enough energy."

"Thank you." Sonic said.

The doctor nodded his head and left the room. I set Flash in front of me. I cried even harder now. I put my hands on my stomach. I thought I was doing everything right! I don't know what happened!?

"Well... Now you don't have to worry about another child." I said to Sonic looking down.

"Ames, I was happy to have another baby!"

I didn't say anything. I was so upset. I felt Sonic put his hands on my cheek. I turned my towards Sonic. We made eyes contact. I could see myself in Sonic's eyes.

"We will try again." Sonic said kissing me.
