Amy's POV

It's been 3 months later. Reproducing a lot harder than I thought. I never thought it would take this long! Sonic didn't really mind it, since his body wouldn't change. But mine...Mine would. We tried as much as we could. But we had to focus on work more and take care of Flash. I guess I could wait to have another child. I just jumped in. I should have just taken things slow. My eyes open and I looked at the clock.

"It's 4:03." I whispered.

"And I can't sleep..." Sonic mumbled hitting his hand on my leg. "With you talking..."

I laughed a little. Sonic turned on his side facing away from me. I starred at Sonic. I sat up and yawned. I turned around and flipped my pillow over. I laid my head on the cold surface. My eyes opened as I felt something strange though... I haven't had this feeling in forever.

"Pan!" I yelled sitting up.

Sonic opened his eyes straight away and got out of bed. Instead of running downstairs, Sonic ran into the bathroom. He brought the trash can to my side of the bed and held it over my mouth. I threw up right away I saw it. Sonic turned his head and held it up high. The smell was awful, trust me. I sat up and held the trash can in my lap. I was coughing and Sonic sat on the floor.

"Do you think you could... You know?" Sonic asked not wanting to say the word.

"Pregnant?" I asked looking down at him.

Sonic nodded his head. He rubbed his arms. My eye lids started to shut. My head leaned forward.

"Ames." Sonic said holding my head up.

Sonic moved the trash can on the floor. He sat on the bed and held my cheeks with his hands. His hands were cold. It felt nice. Sonic waited until I could open my eyes again. I slowly opened my eyes and looked into Sonic's eyes.

"I'm fine...Really." I said.

"Do you need anything? Want me to call Carter? Cream? Anyone?"

"No, I'll just take the day off." I said reaching for my phone.

I dialed my boss's phone number. It was off, but I left a voice mail. I set my phone down and looked at Sonic with a grin.

"Done." I said.

Sonic rolled over on his side of the bed. He got under the covers and kissed my cheek. He fell asleep, but I laid awake. Could I be pregnant? We had a good dinner last time. I wasn't stress. I wasn't sick. I wasn't tired. I was fine. I was myself... I had to take a test.

"I'm leaving!" Sonic said opening the front door. "I'll call you when I'm on my lunch break."

"Alright." I said from the living room. "Say goodbye to daddy, Flash."

"Ly." Flash said with his thumb in his mouth.

Sonic chuckled and left. He shut the door. It was only Flash and I now. Home alone. It was our chance to bond all day! But what do boys like to do at this age? I meet Sonic when we were in high school. Most high school boys liked to play games with girls. Girls would play back and then the boys would cheat and...

"Games!" I said snapping my fingers.

I carried Flash upstairs. We walked into Flash's room. I set Flash in his crib. I opened his dresser and pulled out some clothes. I changed him and then I had to get myself dressed. Once I was done, we went downstairs. I grabbed my car keys and put Flash in my car. I started the car. I backed out and we went to the store. I hope I don't see anyone I know... I look like a mess!

"What shall we get, Flash?" I asked pushing a cart around.

Flash looked around at all the colors games. I stopped and looked at everything. I knew Flash wasn't capable of playing a card game or board game. We had enough toys for him. I began to think.

"Maybe...Just maybe..." I said looking at Flash.

I shook of the thought. It's in the back of my mind. I got food for dinner tonight. Flash was falling asleep while I was shopping. I hurried with the shopping. I waited in line for check out.

"Ma." Flash said.

I smiled at Flash. I couldn't believe he was talking! I picked him up and we checked out. I put the grocery in my car and we went back home. It was already 3pm. I put the grocery away in the kitchen. I put a box I had in the living room. Flash looked at the box. I walked away for a moment and did something. I came back into the living room.

"FLASH!" I yelled covering my mouth.

Flash looked at me. He didn't know what was wrong. I slowly walked over to him and pulled out my phone. I stood on my knees and held my phone in front of my face. Flash saw my phone and he started to walked towards me. I started to record Flash...He was walking!

"That's it Flash! Come to mommy." I said.

Flash held out his arms and slowly walked towards me. This day was perfect. I hope Sonic comes home early tonight. I can't wait to till him what happened today! Flash made it to me. I put my phone down and picked up Flash. I laid on my back and lifted Flash in the air. He giggled and kicked his feet.

"You don't see that everyday..."

I looked up and saw Sonic. He walked over to the couch and sat down. He set his bag down and crossed his ankle over his knee. I sat up. I picked up my phone.

"Sonic I got-"

"I have to tell you something." Sonic said cutting me off.

"Oh ok..."

I stood up with Flash in my arms. Flash saw Sonic and he held out his arms towards Sonic. He grinned at Flash.

"Come here, Flash." Sonic said taking Flash.

Sonic held Flash and he patted a spot next to him on the couch. I sat down and looked at Sonic.

"What did you want to tell me?" I asked a little scared.

"It's about work..." Sonic said upset.

By the tone in Sonic's voice he didn't sound happy at all. I was worried now. What if Sonic got fired? What if Sonic quit? What if Sonic wasn't smart enough at work? No, Sonic's smart. I looked at Sonic.

"And...?" I asked.

"I got a promotion!" Sonic yelled.

I screamed and hugged Sonic. We kissed each other and then we kissed Flash. I got up from the couch and went somewhere for a moment. I came back and sat back on the couch.

"I-I took a test..." I began.

"What'd it say?" Sonic said putting Sonic on the floor.

"It's positive!"

Sonic put his hands on my waist and pulled me onto his lap. We kissed each other for a while.

"Ah!" Flash whined.

I pulled away and we both laughed. I got off of Sonic and picked up Flash. I bounced Flash up and down on my leg. Sonic saw a box laying in the middle of the living room floor.

"What's that?" Sonic said.

"You have to watch this video first." I said grabbing my phone.

Sonic watched the video of Flash walking. Sonic grinned as he watched the video. He set my phone down on the coffee table. He picked up the box and opened it.

"Hey! Running shoes!" Sonic said. "Did you get these for Flash?"

"Yea! You guys can go on runs together."

"Wanna go out to dinner tonight?" Sonic asked. "Since I'm getting paid more. We can invite Tails and Cream."

"Sure!"

Sonic, Flash, Tails, Cream, Miles, and I all went out to dinner. We sat in the back. It was really fancy. Sonic, Tails, and Miles all wore a tux. Cream and I wore dresses. I dressed Flash a white shirt with jeans. The workers didn't mind babies having to dress up.

"How's school, Miles?" I asked.

"Pretty good." Miles said. "I'm a senior."

Everyone started to laugh. Miles and Flash didn't know what was going on.

"I remember when we were seniors." Tails said wiping a tear from his eye.

"Did you go to parties or something?" Miles asked.

"Oh yea..." Sonic said. "No drugs though."

Cream and I made a 'really' face at Sonic. He shrugged and winked at Miles. Soon, we all order our dinner. This was a nice night.

"Oh! I almost forgot! We're expecting." I said.

Everyone got quite. But then Cream screamed and hugged me. Tails high fived Sonic.

"I hope it's a girl." Cream said putting her hand on my stomach.

"Boys are better." Sonic said.

"You wanna bet on that?" I asked.

"Sure!" Sonic said. "Miles, Tails? Are you in?"

"Yea!" Miles said.

"If it's a girl..." Cream began. "I don't really know... I would just rub it in your face."

"If it's a boy!" Tails said. "We get to do anything to you guys." Tails said.

"Fine." I said. "It's a girl." I said putting my hand on Cream's shoulder. "We get to spend over $100 rings at the spa."

Sonic and Tails both looked at each other.

"Did you get that, Miles?" Tails asked.

"Yep. You can shake on it."

I held on my hand and Sonic shook it. Tails and Cream also shook on it. It's a bet.
