Updates will be slow cause I'm going to AZ again for spring break! I will try to work on as many chapters as I can! Enjoy this chapter!

Sonic's POV

It's been 3 months later. All of my friends were happy that Amy and I are going to have another child. Amy was still sick, but she pushed through it. I had my morning too... Well, just holding her hair up. Flash used to cry when he heard Amy screaming, but he got used to it. I kept telling him that he's going to become a big brother.

"I love you both." Amy said grabbing her car keys.

"Love you too." I said holding Flash in my arms.

Amy left and went to work. I had to be at work in a couple of hours. I was feeding Flash his breakfast. I was also watching tv. Once Flash was done I made Flash stand up on my legs. One foot on each leg. I put my hands under his arm pits. I starred at Flash and lifted him up in the air.

"You like that?" I asked lifting Flash higher into the air.

"Ya!" Flash said.

Flash kicked his feet when he was in the air. I looked past Flash and at the tv. I kept lifting Flash up and down. I was having fun with this. Flash was having fun with this. I wonder if Amy does this to Flash. I looked back at Flash and his head was hanging low.

"Flash?" I asked worried.

Flash threw up on my lap. It was all liquid. Nothing solid. It was so gross. It was warm too. I still had Flash standing up on my legs. I whipped his mouth and he seemed happy again. I looked down at my lap and so did Flash.

"Good thing Amy isn't here!" I said setting Flash to my side.

Flash clapped his hand and he spit a little. I had think of how I had to clean this up. It was soaking into my shorts. I had no other choice. I stood up and the liquid fell down onto the floor. I'll just clean it up later. I took off my shorts and I was in my boxers now. I stepped over my shorts and picked up Flash. We headed upstairs to change.

"Note to self don't ever lift Flash after he has eaten." I said walking into my bedroom.

I set Flash on the bed and walked into the closet. I put some new clothes on. I put on running shorts and a red shirt. I picked Flash up and spun him around, but only once. We headed downstairs. I carried Flash in my arms and we walked into my office. I made sure everything was off and unplugged. I nodded and shut the office doors. We walked down the hall way. I thought of something.

"We'll run to work." I said looking at Flash.

He smiled at me. I walked out the front door and locked the door. Flash crawled over my shoulder. He reached his hand out towards the house and whined a little. I chuckled and patted his back.

"We'll be back." I said walking the end of the drive way.

I looked back at the house. It's a good thing the sun was out. At night every house looked haunted. Well, Cream would say that to Tails. Their such babies, but you gotten love them anyways! I held Flash close to me and ran to work. As I ran to work I notice Flash had his eyes closed and he seemed relaxed. Running always makes me relax.

"Wait! You're new shoes!" I said stopping in my tracks and running backwards back home.

It's a good thing I can run fast. I was in and out of the house in a flash. Get it? Flash? No, alright then. Anyways, I started to run again and Flash was enjoying it. It's a good thing he didn't throw up on me. I wouldn't have had time to come back and change... Wait, I'm the fastest thing alive! Fuck that I could have 1 minute to be at work and I'd still make it! Unlike Amy who drove a boring car!

"We're here." I said stopping in front of a gym. "Trust me you'll get used to the smell of sweat." I said opening the doors.

The smell of sweat hit Flash real hard. Flash kept shaking his head back and forth trying to shake the smell out of his nose. I grinned at the sight. I grabbed what I needed. A water bottle, running shoes, my papers, and most of all Flash. I went to the track and walked over to Espio. He was biting his pencil and watching everyone.

"Hey Espio." I said standing next to him.

"Where have you- Oh! Is the Flash!?" Espio said looking at Flash.

"Yea. I promise he won't get in the way."

"Oh no it's fine! Bring him whenever! Hey you there!" Espio said walking on the track.

I looked at Flash and shrugged. I set Flash down on the field. I checked who was here and who wasn't. After I was done I started to think. Flash has never been here before. Everyone was so big and strong. I looked down at Flash, who was watching the other people. I set my clipboard down on a bench.

"We can practice your walking." I said sitting on my knees facing Flash.

Flash saw me out of the corners of his eyes. He looked at me for a second and turned his head. He wouldn't take his eyes off of all the runners! They were hot glued! I gently held Flash's face and turned his head so he was facing me.

"You wanna try that, Flash?" I asked.

Flash nodded his head. He put his arms up and I held his hands. He stood up and I gently held his hands. Flash put one foot in front of the other. He put right foot in front and then his right foot again.

"Other foot, Flash." I said.

Flash looked down and he moved his foot. But it was still his right foot. A runner pasted by. We both starred at him. I looked back at Flash and Flash was starred at his with big eyes.

"See Flash. He puts one foot in front of the other." I said.

Flash looked down and he moved his left foot right in front of his right foot.

"No, Flash. Like that." I said pointing the runners.

Flash looked again. Flash looked down at his feet. I starred at the runners. I had to focus on two things at the same time. My work is important and so is Flash.

"Watch it! Watch your head! SONIC!" Espio yelled laying on his stomach.

I turned my head. Why was Espio on the floor. Everyone was started to dunk and covered their heads. Was it hailing or something. I didn't feel Flash anymore. My eyes widen and I looked down. Flash was gone! I stood up and ran over to Espio. I laid down in front of Espio.

"Where's Flash!?" I asked.

"He's running around! Don't you see the blue line!?" Espio said pointing.

I looked where Espio was pointing. He was right! There was a blue line! It looked just like mine only it was smaller! I got up and followed the blue line. I saw Flash running around the track.

"Flash! Stop!" I yelled seeing Flash.

Wait! Flash didn't know how to stop! If he just stopped running he would fall and hurt himself. I ran faster and faster. I could tell Flash was trying to figure out how to stop. I couldn't let him get hurt. Amy would kill me! I reached my arm out. I was so close to Flash.

"Spin dash!" I said rolling into a ball.

I rolled into a ball and that made me go faster. I grabbed Flash and started running again. I halted once I was right in front of Espio. His arms were covering his head. I tapped my foot and he opened one eye. He looked up at me. He got up and brushed himself off along with the other runners.

"He has your speed." Espio said shaking.

Amy's POV

"I'm really worried Amy!"

"Don't worry Jasmine. Shadow is smart enough. If Sonic ever did that I don't know what I would do."

"It's a motorcycle though! Two wheels not four."

"You're smart to worry but I'm sure he's great at it! Hey, I have to go. My lunch break is over."

"Oh alright. Have fun at work!"

"I'll try."

I hung up and put my phone on my desk. I rubbed my eyes and turned towards my computer. Who was at my 1 o clock? I grinned at the screen and got up. I went to the waiting room. It's was Cody. I've been seeing him a lot now. He seemed happy about something. We got to my room and I shut the door. I sat down and looked at him with a smile.

"What's new?" I asked.

"I-I made a new friend at school."

"And who is that?"

"This dude named Miles. I don't know his last name. But his parents are different."

"Different how?"

"It's a fox and a bunny."

"Ah. A-Are you getting along." I asked playing with my hands.

"Yea. He saved me from being yelled by my coach."

Cody and I talked for a while. I never knew Cody went to the same school as Miles. I wonder if they were in the same grade. I'll just have to ask Cream about it later tonight. Once my hour was up with Cody I walked him out. I walked back into my room and sat down in my chair. I sighed and hung my head over the chair. It was such a long day. I wonder how Sonic and Flash are doing. I hope Flash is having a good time with Sonic. I hope they don't do anything stupid.

Sonic's POV

"That is so stupid!" Espio yelled.

"You're stupid." I said.

"You wanna get fired?"

"Sure!"

"Nah, you're too good of a worker."

Espio and I both laughed at each other. We loved making jokes about quitting. I held Flash in my arms. I looked at the clock and it was already 7pm! Man, time went by fast. Epsio and I said our goodbyes. I could tell Flash was getting tired. I walked outside (still holding Flash) and the cold air hit us both. Flash started to shiver and I held him close. I ran home really fast. I couldn't let Flash get a cold from the cold weather.

"We're home." I said walking to the front door.

I reached for the door knob. But it turned and the door flung open. Amy was breathing hard and she had her phone in her hands. Her cheeks had tear stains on them. I gave her a weird looked and tears started to fall down from her eyes. Oh no. Please tell me we didn't lose anything baby!

"Shadow's in the hospital!" Amy yelled.

My eyes went wide and my mouth dropped. Amy let me in and we sat down on the couch and she told me the whole story.
