Sonic's POV

It was just another day. I went work and well worked. Time went by super fast though. It's not like that at all. Something was different. I just didn't know what is it. Maybe it's because I didn't say 'I love you' to Amy last night. Maybe that was it. I should be saying that to her everyday. I would have to worry about that later.

"Faster!" I yelled at the runners. "If you want this you have to earn it!"

Espio wasn't here so I had to take over at work. I was being really demanding with theses guys. I was unsympathetic. I yelled and yelled at them. They worked harder and harder. My throat started to hurt from all the yelling. I put my hand on my throat. Yea, it was starting to hurt. I checked the time and everyone was slowing down.

"Alright! Take a short water break." I said.

Everyone stopped right away. They all went to get their water bottles. I starred at the track. I didn't take my eyes off of it. My arms were crossed over my chest. I puffed out some air. Why was I so fucking stressed!? Maybe it's because Espio isn't here. That has to be it.

"Back to work!" I yelled.

I watched them as they ran. I ran to but not for long. My throat still burned a little. I drank some water hoping that would help, but nothing worked. I looked back at the time and it was already time to leave.

"Alright. Pack up! Good work today." I said writing stuff down.

Everyone mumble as they heard me talk. I knew they hated me today. But this is my job! I can't help it! If you don't like your job then fucking quit it! Why am I acting like this!? I'm better than this.

"On second thought." I said as everyone froze. "Tomorrow come in at noon instead of 9. You guys need the rest."

Everyone smiled and they left. I put my stuff away in my locker and went home. I opened the door. Cinnamon burst into my nose. I couldn't get enough of it. Amy must be home with a candle lit or something! I followed the smell all the way upstairs. I made it Flash's room. I slowly open the door.

"Hey." I said. "Where's mommy?" I asked picking up Flash.

My nose twitched a little. The smell was coming from Flash. I smelled the top of his head. He smelled like cinnamon. Amy must have given him a bath. Or put perfume on him.

"Ames!?" I called out.

I waited for an answer. My ears went up as I heard something. I walked out of Flash's room and called Amy's name again. Flash yawned and pulled on my fur.

"I'm so happy for you, Jasmine!" Amy said.

Wait? Jasmine is here? I didn't even hear the door bell ring. Maybe she came in through the back yard. I walked downstairs with Flash. I notice Amy sitting on the couch. Amy hung up the phone and stood up.

"I'll have to tell Sonic." Amy said.

"Tell me what?" I asked.

Amy jumped a little and she turned around. Her body was so... So... Not pregnant! Amy was back to normal! She was thin. She was strong. She was... Perfect! She looked like she did back in high school. I blinked and couldn't open my eyes again.

"G-Get up."

"Wha..."

My eyes slowly opened. I was laying on the floor. I turned my head to the right and I was at the bottom the stairs. Did I fall down the stairs or something? Amy held an ice pack up to Flash's head. She looked really worried. I sat up straight and looked at Amy. My eyes ran up and down her body.

"You're pregnant again!" I said.

"Yes and it's thanks to you."

"But you... I saw-"

"Poor baby. You hit your head... Along with Flash's head." Amy said in a tone.

"What happened?"

"You passed out and dropped Flash!"

"I'm sorry, Flash!" I said rubbing Flash's arm.

He didn't pull away which was a good sign. I got up and pain hit my head. I pressed my palm to be forehead. It was throbbing like crazy! Amy handed me an ice pack and I put it on my head. I forgot what I was going to say.

"I thought I heard Jasmine." I said looking into the living room.

"Oh y-yea! We have to go see her right now."

"Right n-now? What time is it? How long was out?"

I went into the living room and checked the hanging clock. It was already 9pm! How long was I out!? Was Flash out for this long too? No, he couldn't have. He was awake when Amy woke me up. Time goes by so fast! I felt a tug on my pants. I looked down and Flash was pulling on my pants.

"Gah." Flash said.

"I'm know. I'll get you a toy when your mother is out of the house." I said picking up Flash.

"Get your ass in the car!" Amy yelling honking the horn.

"Girls. I hope your sister doesn't act like Amy."

Why did say that!? I loved Amy! I mean I love Amy! And Flash. And the next baby. I've been acting all weird. I shook my head and went into the car. Flash sat in the back seat and Amy was driving. I sat down and waited for Amy to start driving.

"You can go." I said.

"Oh. Sorry." Amy said. "I'm a little foggy."

"Maybe I should drive." I said reaching for the keys.

"NO!" Amy yelled grabbing my hand tight. "S-Sorry." She said letting go.

I didn't say anything. This is so strange. Everyone of us were acting different. I don't know why. It must be because of stress or something. I don't know what, but I will find out. Maybe Tails could help us. Hopefully he isn't in a bad mood.

Anyways, Amy, Flash, and I made it somewhere. I had no idea where Amy was taking us. It was so dark outside. I looked up from the window and there were no stars out. That's crazy!? Was the world ending and I didn't know about it? I looked behind me and I saw Flash was gone.

"STOP!" I yelled.

Amy hit the brakes real hard. My head almost hits the dash board. My head started throbbing again. I grunted from the pain as I held my head.

"What!? Did I hit someone!?" Amy asked looking out her window.

"No, Flash is-" I began turning around. "Gone..."

Amy turned around and Flash was right there. He was chewing on his hand. Amy looked at me with a confused looked.

"It's a good thing I'm driving." Amy said as she drove again.

"Where are we going?"

"The hospital."

"W-Why?"

"Jasmine is there."

"Why?"

"You'll see. Shadow and Jasmine's brother Justin are there."

"I didn't know-"

"We're fucking here!"

I can't believe Amy just said the F word with Flash in the car. She did an awful parking job. I got out and looked at the car. She took up to spots! Amy got out and grabbed Flash. She started walking towards the hospital.

"Your parking sucks Ames."

"Oh please."

Flash hand his arms hanging over Amy's shoulder. He looked at me and raised his hand. I smiled but my smile went away when I saw Flash holding up the middle finger. With his other hand he pulled down on his bottom eye lid and stuck his tongue out! What is this!? What the hell is going on!?

"Flash!" I yelled.

Flash whined a little and Amy lifted him in the air.

"Do you want your daddy?" Amy asked.

"Y-You can hold him." I said running across the parking lot and through the doors.

Finally after what felt like an hour Amy and Flash walked into the hospital. She began to walk away from me. I notice and fast walked up to her. She looked at all the doors. Wait! I still don't understand why we're here. If Jasmine's brother was here why did we have to met him in the hospital? Everything smelled like death. I didn't like it. That awful thought popped in my head again. Shadow wished that Amy would die during child birth. I kept looking over my shoulder hoping Shadow wasn't there. I bumped into something and looked forward.

"This is it." Amy said not even noticing that I bumped into her.

Amy was about to open the door when it burst open! I pulled Amy in case a hole bunch of nurses would come bailing out. But it was just Shadow and Justin.

"Fuck off! She's my wife!" Shadow yelled.

"She's my fucking sister! We're closer than ever! I know how to take care of her!"

"Yea right! You're always gone! I'm always here for everyone!"

"I beg to differ." I said holding up a finger.

Shadow slapped me and turned back to Justin.

"I'm going to kill you! She'll be happy once you're gone!" Justin yelled.

"Boys. Shut it." Amy said. "No one is in the mood."

Amy walked between the boys. Amy walked into the room. Shadow and Justin looked at me. I shrugged and followed Amy, but Shadow pulled me back.

"What?" I asked.

"I wouldn't go in there."

"W-Why?"

"Child birth."

"Oh! You're becoming a grandpa!? AH! You're old!"

"No you dummy." Justin said.

Justin pulled me down so my ear was close to his mouth. He whispered something. I looked at Shadow and winked. You son of a gun. Justin pulled away and then flicked my ear. I got the shivers. I hate when people flick my hear. I didn't even know this dude too! We can't touch each other! Maybe he's gay... I don't know. I walked slowly towards the door. I popped my head in and Amy was sitting on the other bed. She was breathing really hard and holding her stomach.

"Ames what's wrong!?" I asked rushing over to her.

"I-I think the baby is coming."

"Alright 2 child births." I said. "How you doing Jasmine?"

"What do you think you blue rat!?" Jasmine yelled.

Shadow and Justin ran in. Everyone is being such a bitch now! I know child birth it hard, but she doesn't have to be so mean about it. Just crush Shadow's hand I'm you're good to go. Two doctors rushed in. Amy gave Flash to me. He drooled all over my shoulder. Ew, it was so warm and gross. I wanted to throw up so bad right now. But I couldn't. I couldn't drop Flash again.

"We usually don't have two people in here but it'll have to do." The doctor said sitting in front of Amy's leg.

I held Amy's hand and Shadow's held Jasmine's hand. Justin took her other hand and glared at Shadow. I looked down at Justin's pocket. I noticed something. It had an ID to be in the army. Huh. That's why Shadow must not like him cause Justin gets paid more than Shadow. AH! I get paid more than Shadow.

"SONIC!"

"I'm here!" I said looking around the room.

I didn't know who just yelled my voice. I looked at Amy. Her eyes were closed and she looked really weak. Did the baby already come out. The doctor held the baby and looked at me with sadness in his eyes. I was really confused now.

"I-I'm sorry, Sonic." The doctor said.

"The baby died!? C-Can't you save her!?" I asked.

"N-No. But you're wife didn't make it."

My eyes went wide as I heard the news. I looked at Amy. She wasn't there in bed. Instead there was tomb stone that said her name on the pillow.

Sweating. I'm sweating right now. My heart rate was up. My throat was dry. My body was all tense. I couldn't cool down. I'm still sweating. I'm breathing hard. My hand sunk into the bed sheets.

"Dreams... It was just a dream!" I said looking at Amy who was fast asleep. "Fuck yes." I whispered.

"Yea. You kept kicking me." Amy said with her eyes closed.

"S-Sorry. I had a nightmare."

"Mmmm... About?"

"You dying when you gave birth to the baby."

Amy didn't say anything once I said that. I got a little worried. What if she just died right in bed!?

"Ames!" I said poking her.

"I'm sleeping! Go back to bed."

"But-"

"Sonic."

Amy began to sit up. She eyes never opened. She placed her hand on top of my hand. She rubbed my hand making sure I was still ok.

"It's just a dream." Amy said finally opening her eyes.

"I know but still."

"I love you." I said kissing my cheek.

"Love you too. Wait."

"Ugh, what?" Amy whined.

"Does Jasmine have a brother?"

"Yea. He's in the army. But he's not here. Maybe one day he'll come back."

I really hope not. I would like to meet him but not while Amy is pregnant. Having that dream made me think differently of Amy. If she dies during child birth... Oh god I don't even want to think about it! I looked back at who was already falling asleep again. My hands were sweating. my breathing got softer but I couldn't stop thinking about the dream. What if Amy goes into early labor and she's dies!? What if the baby is too big to come out her you-know-what. What if the baby dies!? I couldn't handle that again. We already lost one and I'm not losing another one. I'll do whatever it takes to keep Amy full term.
