Sonic's POV

Amy. Oh my god Amy. It's almost time. I just know it. I have a weird feeling in my stomach. I'm so stressed out. This day wasn't going well. I just know Amy is going to go into labor. The day seemed fine in the morning, but when I checked the weather there IS going to be a dreadful storm! Amy is at work at she's now 8 months pregnant! I guess she was full term but Lilly was still cooking.

"Don't panic. Everything is going to be fine. Right Flash?" Sonic asked as he drove to work.

"Dab." Flash replied.

"I'm taking that as a no."

Flash played with his shoe as I drove. I looked at the time at it noon. It was already starting to rain a little. Just little drops of rain. I hate water. I hate getting wet. I know Flash didn't mind it, but I mind it! I parked the car real close. I unbuckled and reached back and unbuckled Flash. I picked him up and wrapped my arms around him.

"Ready Flash?"

Flash looked outside. I ran into the building. My quills weren't that wet. My hair didn't get mess up, but my shoes were slippery. I could barely walk! I had to walk slow because I couldn't drop Flash. I saw everyone waiting on the track. Espio was on a phone call.

"How's everyone today?" I asked.

"There's going to be flood." One runner said.

"A F-F-Flood?" I stuttered.

"Yea! It's going to be huge!"

Flash and I both looked at each other. What if Amy got stuck in her office and she drowned!? What if her office window breaks open because of the rain!? What if plug something in the power goes out and she can't see and she falls and she gets stabbed in the stomach!? No! Stop thinking like that! None of that is going to happen. Just focus on work. Maybe the rain will lighten up as we all run.

"Alright. Due to the storm we're only going to be here for 3 hours." Espio said hanging up his phone.

I heard faint cheers and sighs from the runners. I was kinda glad that we got to leave early. Maybe this storm wasn't such a bad storm after all.

"Ok. Let's work on muscles today." I said. "We can't always do cardio. Everyone upstairs!"

Everyone walked up the stairs. All the equipment was upstairs. The tracks and the field were all downstairs. Everyone lines up and I held Flash. I bit my lower lip for a second.

"The right half." I said pointing. "You just have to walk or jog up and down any set of stairs. While the left side can use any equipment that works their legs."

I clapped breaking the groups. I heard squeaking everywhere! Everyone's shoes were all wet from the rain! Flash was fussing now. He kicked and hit me trying to cover his ears. Even Espio hated the noise.

"STOP!" Espio yelled.

Just as he yelled that there was a flash of lighting! A roar of thunder cracked through the sky. I covered Flash's ears, hoping he wouldn't start crying. We all looked at the windows and the rain was pouring now! I ran downstairs (still holding Flash) and looked at the roads. A flood was happening!

"Espio! You might want to take a look at this." I called out from downstairs.

Espio ran down the stairs in a hurry. He stood next to me and his eyes went wide. All the runners ran downstairs and stood behind us. Flash was holding onto me real tight. I felt his breathing get hard and short.

"Everyone go home. It's not safe here." Espio said. "NOW!"

Everyone scattered and go their belonging. I held Flash closer hoping he wouldn't fuss with me. Espio and I made sure everyone was gone.

"You gonna be alright?" I asked Espio.

"I'll be fine. Drive safe."

"I will."

I left. I felt bad just leaving Espio there. He wasn't moving at all. It seems like he didn't care at all. But I couldn't think about him at the moment. I had to focus on Flash and I. Drive save. Drive save. Drive fucking save! If I crash the car who knows what could happen. If I ran my feet would slide everywhere and I could drop Flash. Both ways of getting home were deadly...Not deadly but... Oh never mind.

"I wonder if Amy is alright." I said using the wind shied wipers.

Flash was shaking in the back of the car. I kept looking in my rear view mirror. I didn't starred though cause I had to focus on the road. I drive nice and slow. I hated going slow but it was for Flash and myself. It took us an hour to get home!

"Alright. We made it home." I said.

I walked upstairs with Flash in my arms. He was still shaking. I went into my room and into the bathroom. I shut the door and grabbed my towel. I walked back out and set Flash on the bed. I took off his clothes and wrapped him in my towel. He was soaking wet. I was too, but I didn't mind it.

"We both need a shower." I said. "But I'll let Amy clean you. She's better at it."

I rubbed Flash's back as we headed downstairs. I got out some milk for Flash. This always seems to calm him down. I heated up the bottle and held it close to his mouth. His hand stuck out of the towel and reached for the bottle. He pulled it close to his mouth and began to suck on it.

"While you're doing that. I can call Amy." I said walking into the office.

I sat down setting Flash in my lap. I pulled out my phone, which was a little wet but nothing too bad. I dialed Amy's number and held it close to my ear.

Beep

"Oh great! Stupid storm." I said slamming my phone on my desk.

Normal POV

Downtown wasn't pouring at all. It was windy though. The wind could be heard from inside any building. The leaves on trees would fall off from the force, but it was nothing to worry about...Yet.

Amy was in her office. She was working on her computer. She never got the call from Sonic. Her phone never even went off. She thought everything was fine where she lived. Her office door was crack opened a little. Her boss slowly opened the door.

"Amy."

"Hang on." Amy said finishing typing. "What is it?" Amy asked.

"There's a bad storm coming. A flood and I'm asking everyone to leave."

"Oh...Thank you!"

Her boss left and Amy gathered her things. She put her purse over her shoulder and turned off her computer. Her computer shocked her a little on the finger as she hit the off button.

"Ow!" Amy said holding her throat. "My voice box..."

Amy shook off the feeling. It was just pain. She closed her door and locked it. She gets into her car and started to drive home. She notice tons of accidents on the side of the road. Cars were pulled over and in ditches.

"I hope that doesn't happen to me. I have to get home to Sonic and Flash."

Amy drove carefully. Her throat tickled from time to time from the shock, but she didn't worry about it. She's been stuck in the car for the past 2 hours. Everything was slower as she got into town. The roads were flooding and cops were everywhere. She pulled into the drive way.

"Ok... Ready to get soaking wet?" She asked herself as she opened the car door.

She quickly grabbed her things. She shut her door and locked it. She ran into the house. She slammed the door shut and her back was pressed to it. She was soaking wet now. Her took off her shoes and set them aside at the front door. Amy started to walk upstairs. Half way up the stairs she looks back. There is a trail of dirt behind her.

"Ugh! I just cleaned!" Amy yelled walking up the rest of the stairs.

Amy walked into her room. Sonic saw her and smiles at her. He started to laugh at the way Amy looks right now. She rolled her eyes and walked into the bathroom. She shuts the door and takes off her clothes. Sonic gets up from the bed and walked into their closet. He pulls out some nice, clean, and warm clothes for Amy.

"I'm glad you made it home. I was starting to worry." Sonic said opening the bathroom door.

"Don't you ever knock?" Amy's voice cracked a little.

Sonic handed her the clothes. Amy got undress and put on the clothes. She grabbed her towel and wrapped it around her hair. She walked past Sonic and sat on the bed. Flash was laying on his stomach watching TV. It was the weather channel, but Flash didn't care. All her saw where different colors on the TV.

"Aw are you protecting daddy from the storm, Flash?" Amy asked rubber his back.

"More like I'm protecting him."

Sonic crosses his arms and pouts a little. Amy grins and lays down next to Flash on her stomach. They watch the TV together while Sonic is playing on his phone.

"I'm gonna go downstairs." Sonic said.

"What? Why?"

"Just in case something bad happens. Like the power goes out of something."

Sonic got off the bed and went downstairs. Amy was a little worried, but it wasn't like the whole house was going to flood down right now. Sonic gathered some items from downstairs. As Sonic walks upstairs the power goes out. A flash of lighting goes by just as this happens.

"AHHH!"

"Oh please Amy." Sonic said walking into the bedroom.

"That was Flash."

Sonic held something in his hands. He pointed it at Amy and Flash and turned it on. A bright light flashed in their eyes. Amy covered Flash's eyes from the bright light.

"Flash light." Sonic said. "Come on."

"Where are we going?" Amy asked picking Flash up and following Sonic downstairs.

"Basement."

Sonic opened the basement door and they walked in. Sonic went over to the power box and opened it up. He turned the power back on. Amy smiled and bumped her hip into Sonic's hip.

"Nice job." Amy said walking back upstairs.

BANG

Amy stops walking up the stairs. Sonic runs pass her and into the hallway. His ear twitches down the hallway. He turns his head towards his office. He slowly walks down the hallway. Amy follows him and hold Flash close to him. Sonic pokes his head into the room and Amy pokes her head under Sonic's head.

"Get back!" Sonic said pulling Amy and Flash away. "Go upstairs."

"But-"

"No buts Ames. I can't let you or Flash get hurt."

Amy couldn't argue with Sonic. Amy started to walk away. At the end of the hallway she saw Sonic go into his office. The cold air whirled around the house. Amy's fur went up from being so cold. She ran back upstairs with Flash.

"It's going to be alright. Daddy will be back." Amy said sitting on the bed.

Back with Sonic. He was in his office and his window was broken. Rain was gushing into the office. Sonic was getting all wet. He scans the room and see's what's important and what's not. He takes all of his important things and runs upstairs with them. He throws them on the bed.

"Dry these." Sonic said before leaving the room.

Amy was going to say something, but Sonic was alright gone. Amy got more towels. She played with Flash as she dried everything. Keeping Flash right now was the best she could do. Sometimes a pound of thunder would come around and Flash would hid under the covers of the bed.

"Alright...I need help." Sonic said with his back against the wall.

Sonic pulled out his phone and dialed a number. He waited for a moment.

"Hello."

"Tails! Buddy! I need your help!"

"I'm having my own troubles Sonic." Tails said. "Miles I need that bowl!"

"My office window just broke! What do I do!?"

"Move you dresser in front of the window...That should help get-"

Sonic couldn't hear Tails anymore. They lost their connection. Sonic groans a little and looks at the dresser. Sonic walks over to it and gets behind it. He lightly trips it over just enough for everything to fall out. Once everything falls out Sonic pushes it towards the broken window.

"Alright..." Sonic said putting the dresser in front of the window. "That should help a little."

Sonic backs up looking at the window. But what Sonic didn't know what that pieces of glass were everywhere! Sonic steps on a piece. He lifts his foot up but the losing his balance. He falls down and gets cuts by the glass. Sonic gets out his office and slowly walks down the hallway. He looks behind him and there is a trail of blood.

"Fuck." Sonic said slowly walking upstairs. "Fuck...Fuck...Fuck..."

Sonic gets all the way upstairs. Pain is rushing up and down his body. Sonic gets into their bedroom. Amy had finished drying everything Sonic gave her. She placed them under the bed just as Sonic walked in.

"My god, Sonic!" Amy said looking at all the blood "What happened!?"

Before Sonic could answer their door bell rang. Amy walked past Sonic and went to answer the door.

"He's got glass in his arm!" Amy yelled walking upstairs.

"And foot!" Sonic yells hearing Amy.

Sonic sits on the bed and looks at his arm. Amy walks into the room along with Shadow and Jasmine. Flash sees Shadow and smiles at Shadow.

"Badow!" Flash said lifting his arms up.

Shadow grins and pats Flash in the head. Sonic see's this and grins at them. Jasmine walks over to Sonic. She looks at his arms and feet.

"It's damn good thing I'm here!" Jasmine said walking into the bathroom.

"Oh god...It hurts!" Sonic yells hitting his head on his pillow.

"Baby." Shadow said.

"Shut the fuck up!"

"Why don't you make me!?"

"STOP IT!" Amy yelled. "Sonic! Be nice! And Shadow! Just play with Flash and be quite."

The boys both put their heads down. Jasmine walks over to Amy and high five her.

"Amy? Do you have anything that can help me pull the glass out?" Jasmine asked.

"Whoa! Whoa! What?" Sonic said sitting up.

"You'll be fine." Amy said. "Follow me."

The girls went into the bathroom. Sonic's heart started to race. He was already in pain! He didn't want to be in even more pain! He didn't sign up for this! This is all Tails' fault!

"Alright. Let's go this." Jasmine said sitting in front of Sonic on the bed.

Jasmine had Amy's eyebrow tweezers. Jasmine gently takes Sonic's arm. Sonic looks away as he feels the cold tweezers hit his arm. He tries to pull away, but Jasmine wouldn't let him.

"See. That wasn't so bad." Jasmine said.

Sonic looks at his arm. The glass was gone!

"Geez! Thanks Jasmine!" Sonic said waving his arm around.

"Now it's time for your feet."

Sonic's eyes went wide as Amy pushes him down. Amy runs her hair through his quills. Jasmine does his right foot first. Sonic's toes curl up as he feels pain again. Shadow is slightly laughing in the background. Sonic can hear this.

"Be quite, Faker!" Sonic yells. "OW!" Sonic yelled looking at Jasmine.

"Sorry."

Jasmine moves to the other side. She looks at his foot.

"This one is really deep in there." Jasmine said.

"Please don't say that..." Sonic said covering his eyes with his arm.

Sonic was breathing a little hard. He hated this! But at least it was him and not Amy. It would have been awful if this was Amy!

"OW!" Sonic yelled at Jasmine pulls the glass out.

"All done! I would wrap this up."

"Can't you do it?"

"She's not slave." Shadow said.

"Oh my god. I'll do it." Amy said walking into the bathroom.

"Hey! Can we sleep over?" Shadow blurted out.

"Shadow! You don't ask like that!" Jasmine said. "Would it be ok if we spend the night here?" Jasmine asked to Amy.

"Sure!"

"Guest room is down the hall." Sonic said. "Get out."

"Don't mind him." Amy said.

Amy showed Shadow and Jasmine the guest room and the bathroom. They spent the night there. Amy walked back into their room. Sonic had finished wrapping up his cuts. Sonic stands up and Amy see's blood on the bed sheets.

"Don't worry about it. I'll clean everything tomorrow." Amy said.

Sonic goes at gets more clean covers. The 3 hedgehogs got into bed and covered themselves up. Flash was in the middle. Amy put her arm over Flash and Sonic did the same thing. They couple was laying on their side facing each other.

"Goodnight, Sonic. Goodnight, Flash." Amy said.

"Goodnight. I love you both." Sonic said.

"We love you too."

The storm went on all night. Flash could sleep through it along with Amy. She was out like a light because she was so tired from work. Sonic, however, couldn't sleep at all. He was so worried that Amy would go into labor during the storm and they would have to do a water birth at home. At least like have Jasmine in their house tonight. But, nothing happened through out the night, which was a good thing.
