Sonic's POV
Ok. Nothing bad happened last night. That is a good thing! Shadow and Jasmine snuck out of the house in the morning. I guess they didn't want to wake us up. I woke up first. I sat up slowly. I lifted my arms slowly up but then pulled my right arm back down. I groaned a little in pain. I looked at my arm. I forgot that I cut my arm last night... Oh no! My office! I crawled out of bed and notice something at the edge of the bed. It was a picture of Amy, Flash, and I sleeping in bed. It was cute. I bet Jasmine took a picture of us as Shadow and her left the house.
I walked downstairs. My feet were still in pain from last night. It's a good thing I didn't have to go into work today cause of the storm. The roads were still bad, but not bad like last night. I walked down the hallway. I notice my dry blood on the ground. I didn't worry about that. I was more worried about the damage to our house! Please don't let it be bad. Please don't let it be bad. Please! That's all I'm asking. I reached my office. I closed my eyes and poked my head through the door. I opened my eyes and saw the damage.
"Shit..." I whispered.
My office was a wreck! I notice glass was everywhere! A tree branch broke my window! Oh come on! I didn't even see that last night?! Are my eyes that bad? Wait... The rain... The branch must have fall from the tree and broke my fucking window. Great! I'm going have to call Tails or someone to help me with this! The dresser was on the floor instead of in front of the window. My desk was knocked over and my papers and folders everywhere!
"This is a mess!" I said walking in. "And it's going to take forever to clean up!"
I walked out of my office and down the hallway. I rubbed the back of my neck as I thought for a moment. I turned right and walked down the other hallway. I walked outside and notice the tree branch. My hands were in my pocket and I starred at the tree with rage. That tree needs to be cut down. I don't want anymore damage to the house because of that fucking tree!
"You're going down buddy." I said looking at the tree. "You cost me my office. Now it's time to pay the price."
I didn't care that I was talking to a tree. I crossed my arms and starred at the tree for a second. I shook my head and walked back inside. I checked the rest of the house. Everything was perfect expect for my office. The one thing that I wished wasn't fucked up and it ends up getting fucked. I walked upstairs and turned right. I walked into the last room. Lilly's room. I opened the door. I grinned at the sight. I leaned against the door way.
"You'll be here soon." I said to myself. "I can't wait for you."
"That's the nicest thing you've ever said."
I turned around and saw Amy behind me. I started to get a little red. She walked closer to me and held her arms out. She hugged me...Kinda. Her stomach made it hard to hug each other. She couldn't even wrap her arms around my waist because of her stomach. I don't dare say that to her, but she knew it too.
"Here." I said getting down my knees.
I wrapped my arms around her. My ear was pressed up to her stomach. Amy patted my head. I stood up and rubbed my nose.
"So, my office is fucked." I said.
"Oh no. I'm sorry, Sonic."
"Wanna see it?"
"I don't know if I can."
"It's not that bad."
I took Amy's hand. We walked downstairs. Amy pulled her hand away at the bottom of the stairs. I looked back at her.
"What?"
"There's blood everywhere!"
"It's dry though." I said stepping on the blood. "See?"
"I'm gonna throw up. That's so gross!"
"I would pick you but you're- Never mind."
"Thank you."
Amy followed me down the hallway. She was careful not to step on the dry blood. She looked into the office. She gasped at the sight. It was really bad. I took a picture of it and sent it to Tails. I wonder how he's holding up with his house. Ah, I'll have to worry about that later. Amy walked in to get a closer look at the damage.
"Careful. There's glass." I said putting a hand in front of Amy.
"Yea, yea, yea. I'm going to call a repair company."
"Wait! Maybe Tails could fix this."
"Tails makes planes. Not windows."
Amy did have a point there. Tails couldn't fix this. Maybe he could, but it would be really hard for him. Anyways, Amy called a repair company and talked to them. She told them what happened. She walked out of my office and into the living room. She kept looking at the dry blood.
"Alright. Thank you so much." Amy said hanging up.
Amy set her phone down on the couch and walked over to me. I was starring into my office. Why did this have to happen!? Amy tapped me on the shoulder and I looked at her. She hugged my arm and pulled me away from my office.
"We have to get rid of that fucking tree." I said in anger.
"What do you want for breakfast?" Amy asked.
"Just get me coffee please."
Stupid tree. I hate trees. Trees are bad! They wreck your fucking things! It's a good thing I saved some of my things last night. I still remember the day when I first met Amy and there were wolfs and she screamed and lost her voice when we were in a tree. Fucking trees. I swear, I'm taking that tree out today! No matter what! I'll even get Knuckles to help me since he strong. Maybe he could just pull it out from the ground.
Amy poured me a cup of coffee. She walked past me, patting my back. She went upstairs and I could hear her talking to Flash. I drank my coffee. I put the cup in the dish washer and walked out of the kitchen. Amy walked down the stairs holding Flash.
"Can you watch Flash? I have to pee and that's going to take forever."
"Yea...I know you and your pregnant ways."
I took Flash from Amy and she walked upstairs. Flash and I walked down the second hallway. I stopped at the closet and opened it. I got out my coat and Flash's coat. I put on rain boots for Flash, but I stuck with my same old awesome shoes. I opened the back door and walked outside.
"The smell of rain..." I said breathing in the moist air.
I carried Flash to the middle of the yard. I set Flash down on his feet. Flash fell over put her caught himself with his hands. I walked 5 steps away of him. I squatted down and reached out my arms towards him.
"Come here, Flash!" I said. "Walk to daddy!"
Flash dropped to his knees and started to crawl. I ran over to him and picked him up. He got mud all over his pants!
"Doing this in mud wasn't such a great idea."
Flash hit me on the cheek. But... He had a handful on mud! I starred at Flash with my death look. Flash giggled and clapped his hands together. I shook my head trying not to laugh at Flash.
"You think that's funny? Fine."
I set Flash down in the pile of mud. He started to flap his arms up and down hitting the mud. It went everywhere! It got on Flash and I! Ok. Amy was so going to get mad at us, but this was actually pretty fun! I got down on my knees and put my hands in the mud. I put some in Flash's quills and he did the same thing with me. I grinned as the sight. Mud dripped on my nose. Ok, now it's time to stop.
"Come on buddy. Time to wash up."
I picked up Flash and we headed to the door. I took off my shoes and Flash's shoes. I undressed Flash and got some of the mud off of him. I took off my shirt, but not my pants. We walked inside and headed upstairs. I notice that the bathroom was shut. Amy still must be in there. God she takes forever! But I shouldn't blame her.
"Alright. Time to use your bathroom." I said to Flash.
We got to Flash's bathroom. Well, I guess it would be Lilly's bathroom now too. I turned on the shower and filled the bath tub up. I made sure it was warm. The mud on my pants were dry so I didn't have to worry about that getting everywhere. I set Flash in. The water was half up his body. I walked over to the sink and open the bottom drawer. I pulled out a small bucket and soap. I went back over to the tub and Flash was playing in the water.
"Time to get all clean." I said filling the bucket with water.
I slowly poured the water on Flash. He moved his head back and forth not wanting to get all wet. The mud was starting to come out of his quills. I took the soap and pour some into my hands. I washed his quills which he didn't like at all! I had to get the mud out and he didn't like the feeling of my hands on his head. I made Flash stand up and I cleaned the rest of his body. I had to get between his legs too... Ugh. I took a scrubby and put soap on it. I gently scrubbed between his legs. Flash screamed and closed his legs and I pulled back from him.
"Alright. I'm done." I said draining the tub.
I got a towel and wrapped Flash in it. I stood up and picked him up. I held him close to me hoping he would dry faster.
"That's was so cute." Amy said crying.
"Yea well...You were taking forever in our bathroom."
"Maybe that was a good thing."
I grinned once Amy said that. She starred at us. But then... The door bell rang. Her eyes got big and she smiled at us. She headed downstairs and I followed her. I didn't care that I was only wearing pants. She opened the front door and about 10 people walked in.
"It's in here." Amy said walking towards my office.
Amy walked into my office. I walked past the other guys and stood next to Amy. I made sure Flash was still covered with the towel.
"Ouch. That's bad." The head worker said.
"I know... How much is all this going to cost?" I asked holding Flash.
The worker went over to the window. The tree branch was still hanging inside.
"I also want that tree removed." I said in a tone.
"Sonic." Amy said.
"It would cost about 5,599.99. Rings for the window and the tree branch." The worker said.
I sighed and looked at Amy. She shrugged and looked at the window. We had to get it fix today! If we left it anyone could sneak inside our house.
"How long will this take?" Amy asked.
"All day."
"Alright... I guess we'll just stay out of your way."
Amy grabbed my hand and left my office. We went upstairs. Amy walked into the closet and started to get dress.
"Where are we going?" I asked.
"Anywhere beside here."
"What if they steal stuff?"
"Sonic don't be silly. Now get dressed."
I set Flash on the bed and walked into the closet. It was kinda hard since Amy was taking up all the space in here! We both finished at the same time and walked out of the same time as Amy did... But we got stuck in the doorway.
"Move your butt!" I said.
"I could if I would!"
I got out first. Amy tripped as I got out of the closet, but I caught her. She gained her balance and I let go of her. Amy took Flash into his room and changed him. Soon, we were all ready to go. I hated leaving the house when there were people in our house! I swear if they steal anything I'm going to-
"We should go out for breakfast!" Amy said.
"If you want too. Might make time go by faster."
We all got in the car and left the house ALL day! It was nuts! But, Amy and I are mostly out of the house all day due to work. I didn't mind working, but if I had to wait for people to fix my office window I didn't want it to take all fucking day! We went over to Silver and Blaze's house once we were done eating breakfast. It was a pretty laid back day. Which was nice.
"Alright, we can go home." Amy said getting in the car.
"Finally!" I said starting the car.
It was 7pm! Crazy right!? I drove a little fast. Amy was falling asleep in the car so I could drive faster and she wouldn't yell at me. Flash was knocked out in the back seat. We reached the house. The company was still here. I swear if they are still working I'm going to punch the wall. Wait, then they would have to stay longer and fix that. I'll just get my anger so other way so they don't have to stay any longer.
"Ames. Wake up." I said unbuckling her seat belt.
"Mmmm..."
"I'll met you inside. I have Flash."
I carried Flash with one arm. I walked into my office. Wow! It was nice in here! Everyone was putting their tools away! The window looked brand new! Like the day Amy and I bought this house! I felt someone's hand on my shoulder. It was only Amy. The tree was gone too! AH! Bye you little fucker. I won't miss ya at all!
"This is wonderful!" Amy said. "Thank you so much!"
"I'll write the check." I said.
I went to get my check book. But instead I went upstairs and quickly put Flash to bed first. I came back with my check book. I wrote down the amount of money. It was a little hard to do that thought... So much money. Bye money. I'll earn you back one day! I promise. I handed them the check and they left within a few seconds!
"Finally." I said. "Oh! Where's all the stuff I had your dry last night?"
"Under the bed."
I ran upstairs and grabbed all the things. I set everything back were it was. I stepped back and grinned. Everything was perfect now. Amy crossed her arms and starred at me as I was looking at my new office. I notice a picture frame fell over. I walked over to my desk and set it back up. It was a picture of Flash. I grinned at it.
"Sonic." Amy said.
"Huh?"
"I'm sorry to say this but... My water just broke."
I held my breath as I heard Amy say that. Wait, her water broke in my new officer!? No, don't worry about that now. Worry about Amy. I turned around and she was holding her stomach. She could still stand, but not for long. I walked over to Amy and we locked arms.
"C-Can you make it to the car?" I asked.
She nodded her head but didn't say anything. I could tell the pain was starting to kick in. We slowly walked down the hallway. I opened the car door and Amy sat down. She screamed as she sat down. I'm forgetting something... Flash!
"Get in the car. I'm getting Flash." I said rushing back into the house.
I ran upstairs. I opened Flash's bedroom door. The door slammed as it hit the wall. Flash's eyes shot opened with the sudden noise. He turned his head and he relaxed once he knew it was me.
"Sorry Flash. But we gotta go." I said rushing back downstairs.
I locked the house and turned off all the lights. I grabbed a few things just in case something bad would happen. I put Flash in his car seat. Amy was fully in the car. She was bending over with her hands on the dash board.
"I need you buckled Amy." I said starting the car.
"Fuck that! Just drive!"
I don't dare argue with Amy right now. That's the last thing we needed to do. I started to back out. The car hit the street and I put it in drive. I guess it's a good thing Amy was wearing a dress today. Amy leaned back in the seat and slid down.
"I'm bleeding, Sonic!" Amy yelled.
"I know. I know. Hang on we're almost there."
"You said that 5 seconds ago!"
Ok. It's been a while. I didn't know how to calm Amy down. I'm rusty with this. I was really nervous. I don't know why. I was nervous with Flash, but this one is different. Well, we are having a girl this time. Maybe that's why I'm acting all weird. Anyways, we finally made it to the hospital. I took out the keys, grabbed Flash, and ran inside the hospital. I could hear Amy screaming as I ran inside. I got some people and they brought out a wheel chair. I showed them the car and opened the door.
"I thought you left me!" Amy said as a nurse helped her out of the car.
"Nah, not yet." I teased.
Amy punched me in the arm as we went into the hospital. She was put in a room on the first floor. Wait... Our friends!? Should I call them or tell them tomorrow.
"Do you want me to call everyone?" I asked pulling out my phone.
"I-If you want t-t-to. OW!" Amy yelled lifting her chest up.
Her legs were apart. Flash was sitting in my lap. I looked at my phone for a second and put it back in my pocket. A doctor showed up. He had his white gloves on and a mask on. Oh great... It's already time to start pushing. I hated this part, but I know it was worst for Amy. Ok. Ok. Here comes the pain. I held out my hand and Amy grabbed my hand. I started to sweat a little. She was going to break my hand again! I know it! Just wait!
"She's already crowning." The doctor said.
"When can I push!?" Amy yelled.
"Right now."
Amy started to push. My eyes went wide and my ears went up. Her grip on my hand got tighter and tighter. Flash laughed a little cause he saw that I was in pain. I tried not to say anything because I know Amy would stop if she heard me. 10 seconds went by and Amy laid her head on the pillow. She was sweating and breathing so hard!
"You can do it Amy!" Cream yelled through the door.
Amy was shocked once she heard Cream's voice. Soon, everyone started to talk at the same time. Amy let go of my hand so I could get up. I cracked the door and poked my head out. Flash poked his head out too. I gave them a weird smile.
"Can you watch Flash?" I asked holding Flash out.
"Sure!" Tikal said taking Flash.
I shut the door and went back to Amy. Her hand was already out waiting for mine. I sat back and my hand shook as I reached Amy's hand.
"Shoulders are always the hardest part." I said kissing Amy's hand.
Amy nodded and grinned at me. Her hair was in her face. I moved her hair away from her face so she wouldn't get too hot. We both looked at the doctor. Ready for round two. The doctor nodded at Amy and she pushed again. Her screams were so loud! Amy laid her head down again and gasped for air. She groaned and let go of my hand. Her hands fell to her side. She didn't die like she did in my dream because I could see her chest rise and fall. Wait, is she done pushing? I didn't hear any crying. My stomach started to hurt a little now. Please, just please...
"Why isn't she crying?" Amy asked.
The doctor didn't answer Amy. We both looked at each other with worried eyes. Oh no... Please tell me we didn't lose another baby! The doctor took a pair of scissor and looked at me. He held out the pair of scissor and smiled at me. My eyes filled with tears as I heard our daughter crying.
"Go cut the cord, Sonikku." Amy said with a smile.
I got up from the seat and walked over the doctor. I took the pair of scissors and cut the cord. The doctor handed me Lilly. She was wrapped in a towel. She was light blue. She was perfect. The doctor left so he could give us time alone. I could only stare at her. She opened her eyes and starred up at me. I smiled at her. I couldn't believe this. My heart was beating so fast because of her.
"Beautiful." I whispered.
I walked back to the seat and sat next to Amy. She smiled and held out her hands. I handed her Lilly. Amy started to cry so hard. She did this when Flash was born.
"She's perfect!" Amy said.
Amy gave her tons of kisses. Why didn't I get any kisses? I'm kidding. I smiled at the sight. Lilly the Hedgehog. I rubbed my hands as I watched Amy and Lilly. Amy looked at me. She nodded her head towards the door. I got up and opened the door. Everyone rushed in. I grabbed Flash from Tikal and showed him Lilly.
"She's so small!" Blaze said.
"She's Sonic's fur color but not as dark." Silver said.
"No shit, Silver." Shadow said.
"What's her name again?" Carter asked.
"Lilly." Flash said.
Everyone gasped and looked at Flash. He looked confused that everyone was starring at him. But,Flash talked again and he said her name right! This day was the best day ever! Well, should I say this is the best night ever!
"Now you'll understand what I went through with my daughter." Knuckles said patting my back.
I can already feel it kicking in. If anyone hurts her they're going down. I would hate to see Lilly get hurt or Flash get hurt too. That's the last thing I would want to happened to them. Soon, everyone left since they knew it has been a long day and night for us. Amy and Lilly crashed right away once everyone left. Flash and I were still awake though.
"Well Flash... You're a big brother now." I said leaning back in the seat.
Flash didn't say anything. I looked down at him and his eyes were closed. His thumb was in his mouth. I guess since everyone is going to sleep I should get some shut eye too. I wrapped my arms around Flash and closed my eyes.
"Goodnight, Amy, Flash, and Lilly." I said.
