Hi,

this is the second chapter. I hope you like it and leave a review if I should continue.

Disclaimer - I don't own Victorious.

Fortunately Vega is alone at home. Otherwise her parents would probably have killed me for ringing the doorbell at 2 am.

"I'm coming", I hear Vega calling from inside.
Someone sounds very pissed for being woken up like that.

Well her boyfriend didn't dump her in front of her friends - not that I'd consider all of them as such - so she shouldn't be complaining.

"What do you want, Jade?", she greets me as I push past her inside the warm house.

"I needed someone to talk", I admit, sitting on her sofa and kicking my shoes off. "So here I am. You know the rules if one word about this conversation leaves this place..."
"You are going to kill me", she finishs my sentence for me. "I remember. How could I not? I don't get threatened like that everyday."

"Stop that", I hiss at her, placing my feet on the coffeetable. "Make me some coffee with two sugar cubes."

"No I want to go back to bed", Vega whines but walks towards her kitchen anyway. "I'll fix some hot chocolate but no coffee."

"Fine", I roll my eyes annoyed, cuddling a pillow. It was the same that I smeared with mascara the last time Beck and I broke up.

She starts to fix our drinks and than comes back with two mugs, handing me one.

"So you said you wanted to talk to me", she mutters, sipping her hot chocolate.

"Beck dumped me", I start to cry again. I wish that whole crying thing would stop but I just can't hold my tears back.

"So it is really over between you two?", Vega frowns, looking really worried.

"Yes", I sob loudly. "You were all there. I can't believe he really broke up with me. I don't know what to do."
"So you came here because you need my help?", she raises an eyebrow, confused.

"Exactly", I nod, sipping my hot chocolate. "I want him back. Please help me."
"Did Jade West just say please?", she teases me, grinning.

"That's not funny, Vega", I call out, angry. "So will you help me or not?"

"I'll help you", she sighs. "You and Beck are my friends. I want my friends to be happy."

"I am not your friend", I protest loudly. "I only came to you because Cat would freak out and Andre is Becks best friend."
"I get it, Jade", Vega nods. "So I'd suggest you try to talk to him tomorrow after school."
"I was at his RV earlier but I just couldn't get out", I admit to her. "I was scared he'd reject me."

"I don't think he would do that. He had his hand on the doorknob. He seemed really torn between opening the door and letting you go. It wasn't an easy decision for him that's for sure", she tries to cheer me up. "I could call Andre and ask him to talk to Beck about arranging a date so you both can talk about it."

"Andre doesn't need to know I am here though", I tell her. "Make him think that it was your idea to arrange this date because you think Beck and I are the perfect couple."

"It kind of was my idea to arrange a date", she mutters, tired. "And I really think Beck and you are a great couple."
"Yeah sure as if", I hiss at her. "You want him all to yourself just admit it."

"I just said that I am going to help you get him back", she calls out desperate. "What about that makes you think I want to be with him."

"You kissed him on your first day here", I accuse her, angry.

She looks at me, frustrated. "I wanted to get even with you! You poured iced coffee all over my head!"

"You kissed my boyfriend that is something totally different", I call loudly.

"I apologized", she groans loudly obvious sick and tired of this conversation. "How often do you still want to hear it before you believe me?"

"As long as it takes you to persude me it's the truth", I shrug at her.

"You are so bitter sometimes", she mutters more to herself than me.

"That was one of the things Beck loved about me", I start to cry again. "He said that he loved it that I could be so bitter and sweet at the same time."
"You really love Beck, don't you?", Vega frowns, looking at me pitiful.
That was the stupidest thing she ever said and this really means a lot as everything she says is dumb.

"Of course I do", I snap at her, offended.

"Well you don't seem to sometimes", she admits, looking down.
I put my empty mug down. "Just because we fight at times?"
"You fight all the time, Jade", Vega mutters. "It is very hard for us to stand. I mean it is so bad that Cat faints because of it and Robbie starts crying."

"You sound just like Andre", I snort but feel kind of guilty at the same time. I don't want to make Cat sad, I know that her parents fight a lot too. It must be terrible for her to see Beck and me fight specially as she always told me how perfect Beck and I are for each other.

"He's right, Jade", she looks at me. "Everything he said is true. It wasn't right that we didn't invite you for our poker night but you would have just fought anyway."
"Now we are broken up", I mutter. "And it just sucks. I miss him, Vega."
"Do you want me to call Andre now?", she offers me. "So he persudes Beck in the morning to talk to you?"

"Yes", I nod, desperate.

She calls Andre and I watch her as she talks to him on her phone. After quiet a while she hangs up, looking at me.

"So are you staying here?", she asks me, sighing. "I can borrow you some of my clothes tomorrow."
"We'll just drive to my place before school tomorrow", I inform her as I follow her upstairs.

"Okay", she hands me some clothes I can sleep in.

I get ready for bed and than lie down on her sofa. "Thanks for letting me stay."

"So we are friends now?", she asks me through the dark.
"No but I might try to be a little bit nicer to you", I reply, shrugging eventhough she can't see me.

"Sounds okay for me", Vega answers. "I hope you and Beck get back together again."

"Yeah me too", I sigh, rolling onto my side. "I don't know what to do without him."

Tori doesn't reply so she's probably already asleep.

I eventually drift into a light sleep too.
