Hi,

there is the next chapter. I hope you like it.

Disclaimer - I don't own Victorious.

The next morning I have to get Amelie ready for kindergarden as our dad left for a business trip yesterday and won't return until late this evening.
It was very stressful to get ready with a little kid that's always very moody in the morning.

So it's no wonder that I am totally pissed off when I arrive at school without any coffee.

"Hey Jadey", greets Cat me, hugging me tightly. "What have you planned for tonight?"

"Not much", I shrug, looking down at her. "Why are you asking?"

"I have to babysit the dog of my mum's boss", she announces. "Would you like to come with me?"

"I can't", I yawn, tired. "My dad is not home so I have to watch Amelie."

"Why don't you ask Beck to watch her?", she asks me, innocently. "I am sure he'd love to."

"No", I tell her firmly. "Forget it!"

"Why not? He's her..", I slap my hand over her mouth to stop her from speaking.
"Shut up", I hiss at her, quietly. "You promised to never talk about it."

She tries to say something but can't through my hand. "You are never going to finish this sentence or I am going to seriously hurt you."

Cat nods, quickly so I take my hand off her mouth. "I still think you should ask him."

"I'll think about it, okay?", I give in, opening my locker.

"Okay", she giggles.
"Hey you both", Robbie smiles at us as he opens his own locker that's unfortunately next to mine. "Did you hear that Beck's sister is back? She'll start as a teacher here today."

"Yeah", I nod. "Amelie and her son had a playdate yesterday."

"So you already met her?", Rex asks. "Rumor has it her boyfriend dumped her because their son is such a brat."

"I met her once when Beck and I started dating four years ago", I shrug. "Beck came over with his nephew."
"So you and Beck had a date too?", Cat giggles, excited.

"No", I snap at her. "I had no idea that Jake is his nephew. I didn't even know his sister is back and has a kid."
"Beck never told you?", Robbie asks me, confused.

"No", I hiss at him. "In case you forgot, we aren't a couple anymore. And as you may have noticed our relationship hasn't been working for a while."

"Still you must have known he has a nephew", Rex says. "Or where you too busy hooking up to talk?"

"Actually I simply didn't care about his stupid family", I tell him, frustrated.

I than slam my locker shut and stomp away, going to get some coffee.

On my way to the Asphalt Café my phone starts ringing.
"Who is it?", I snap in a terrible mood.

"It's your father", my dad greets me.
"What do you want?", I groan.

This morning really couldn't get worse well I hope at least. Usually my dad only calls me if it is about Amelie.

"It turned out that I won't be able to make it home before monday evening", he informs me coldly.

"You can't stay any longer", I frown at the phone. "I got detention tomorrow. Who is supposed to watch Amelie?"
"What about that boyfriend of yours?", he replies. "He should take over some responsibility anyway."

"He's got detention with me", I snap at him. "What should I do in your opinion now?"

"Amelie is your responsibility so figure something out yourself", he tells me coldly. "You wouldn't be in this situation if you qui..."
I hang up before he can finish his sentence. "Fuck this!", I shout out frustrated, pushing a student that's in my way.

I had no idea what I should do now. Helen sure wouldn't let me miss detention just because I had nobody to babysit.

I try to make up my mind but the only option is to ask Andre if he could watch Amelie. I left her with Cat once and it was just terrible. When I returned home from my date with Beck they were both completly hyper as they ate some bibbles and I had a hard time to get them to bed.

I get a coffee and than go to find Andre what wasn't very hard as he was on his locker, talking to Tori.

"Andre", I interrupt them rudely. "You need to watch Amelie tomorrow morning."

"Who's Amelie?", Tori asks me, curious.
"That's none of your business", I hiss at her. "I wasn't speaking to you."
"Sorry, Jade", Andre sighs, looking at me uncomfortable. "I have to take my grandma to the doctor's. Why don't you ask Beck?"

"I would have but he has got detention with me", I roll my eyes. "What am I supposed to do now? I can't leave my three years old little sister alone at home."

"I could watch her", Tori offers me quickly. "If that's okay for you."
"No", I shake my head, immediately. "I am not leaving Amelie with a stranger."
"What's wrong?", Beck walks over to us.
"Jade doesn't want Tori to watch Amelie tomorrow", Andre tells him.

"Why didn't you ask me?", Beck glares at me, mad.

"You got detention too", I tell him as if it's obvious.

"You could ask Karen to watch her", he suggests, relaxing. "I am sure Jake would love to see Amelie again."
"I am sure not leaving her alone with your family!", I hiss at him.
"I think you forgot an important detail about your sister", he spits the last word at me.

"Your mother wouldn't allow it anyway", I shrug. "So go on, ask your sister."

"Why should Beck ask his sister?", Tori wants to know confused. "I thought Amelie's your sister."

"Stay out of this", I glare at Vega. "It's none of your business!"

"Sorry, no offense", she takes a step back.
Beck grabs my wrist. "We are going to ask her right now."

"I'd rather have Vega watch her than knowing your bitch of a mother somewhere near her", I glare at him, angry. "You know that."

"I know", he drags me through the hallways anyway. "Karen and Jake are having their own appartement a few blocks away from my parent's house. They won't see her."

He pushs me in the blackbox theater as I keep screaming in protest. "Let go off me! I am not okay with that! Beck I am warning you!"

"Shut up", he hisses at me as he drags me to the young tall woman who was obvious very busy fixing her first lesson. "Karen do you have a second?"

"Of course", she turns towards us, smiling brightly. I forgot how pretty she was back than and she got even more beautiful over the past four years. "You know I always have time for my favorite brother."
"I am your only one", he laughs, tightening his grip on my wrist. I stop struggling as I just glare at him.
"I know", she chuckles and than turns towards me. "How can I help you two?"

"This is Jade West", he introduces me. "You two met four years ago. She was my girlfriend."
"Jade West?", she raises an eyebrow, confused. "Is it possible that we were talking on the phone yesterday?"

"Yes", I nod, shortly. "That was me. I didn't know it was you either."

"Thank you again for letting Jake come over", she smiles at me, brightly. "He really likes your sister. He wouldn't stop talking about her."
"About that", Beck answers before I get the chance to. "Jade wanted to ask you something."
"Sure what is it?", Karen asks me.
"You know this wasn't my idea", I tell her, simply. "As your mother can't stand me for being with her precious little baby boy."
"Jade stop it", Beck squeezes my wrist. "Just ask her before I do it."
"Stop telling me what to do", I hiss at him. "You dumped me in case you forgot. You have no right to tell me what to do anymore."

"This is not about you, Jade but Amelie", he glares at me. "So ask her!"
"Fine!", I snap at him, pushing his hand of my wrist before turning towards Karen who watchs us confused. "Could you please watch Amelie tomorrow morning?"

"Of course", she smiles. "I'd love to meet Jakes friend. When will you bring her over or do you want me to pick her up?"
"I'll bring her to your place at nine thirty", I sigh gently. "I need you to promise me that you won't tell your mum about it though. She won't approve of it and it would be a shame to ruin the friendship of two little kids, wouldn't it?"

"I promise, Jade", Karen nods. "I know how my mother can be when it comes to Beck."

"Thank you", I thank her politly. "That's very kind of you."
"You're welcome", she smiles and than goes back to preparing her lesson.

The bell rings and I turn towards Beck. "What are your plans for tonight?"

"Robbie is coming over", he shrugs. "We are going to play video games."
"You can watch Amelie if you want", I sigh, looking at my feet. "I was kind of harsh to you yesterday. I can't image how you must be feeling about the situation now that we're not together anymore."
"I'd love to watch her", he smiles, hugging me tightly. "Thank you, Jade."

"It's your responsibility too", I mutter, not returning the hug. "As my dad always loves to remind me."

"Well he's right", Beck pulls away from me as students walk in. "I have to go now though. I'll pick her up from kindergarden okay?"

"Yeah I'll bring over her stuff later", I nod as I sit down.

"See you", he tells me before leaving.
Cat comes in, grinning and sits besides me. "Are you two together again? Beck seems so happy."
"No we are not", I groan putting my head in my hands. "Stop asking that all the time. You're going to be the first one who knows it when we get back together. He's just so happy because I apologized and let him watch Amelie tonight."

"Really?", she smiles, happily. "So you are coming to dogsit with me?"

"Yes", I nod, leaning back in my seat. "I'll pick you up. We'll go check on Amelie and bring her some stuff first though."

"Okay be at my place at seven pm?", she grins at me.
"I'll be there", I nod at her.

Karen than asks us to be quiet and introduces herself to us.

She is a really great teacher. I think I am going to like her not as much as Sikowitz but comparable.

After her lesson it's lunch time so I walk to the Asphalt Cafe with Cat. We sit with our friends at the table.

"Hey Robbie", Beck looks at him as he sits down with his puppet. "Amelie is coming over tonight too."
"Really?", he grins excited. "That's great. It's been a long time since I last saw her."
"That has a good reason", I tell him, still angry. "Rex almost scared her to death. She wasn't able to sleep for days."

"I am sorry", Robbie frowns. "Rex has a date tonight so he won't come with me."
"Yeah mama bear", Rex laughs. "I got better things to do than scare your little kitten."

I glare at him, furious. "Good. I don't want you anywhere near her."
"Jade", Beck rolls his eyes. "It's fine. I'll take care that neither Robbie nor Rex will do something creepy."

"You better will", I tell him.

"Am I the only one that doesn't know what you are talking about?", Tori frowns, looking between the five of us.

"They are talking about Amelie Jade's little sister", Andre tells her.

"Oh okay", she nods, obvious not really buying it. "Why is Beck watching her tonight?"

"I am busy", I shrug. "Cat is a terrible babysitter. Andre is going to his weird girlfriends birthday. I would never trust Robbie with a small child so why not Beck?"

"I don't know", Vega shrugs. "It's just you two are fighting all the time. I didn't think you'd trust him with your sister."
"Well I've known her sister ever since she's been born", he glares at Tori again almost spitting out the word sister.

"Amelie has nothing to do with our fights", I tell her. "I'd never let her get involved in the problems Beck and I have."
"Will I meet her one day?", Vega asks me, courious.
"No", I shake my head instantly.

"Sure", Beck smiles at her.

I turn towards him angry as our friends groan, quickly gathering her stuff.

"What's going on guys?", Tori looking at them, confused.
"You better run", Rex tells her. "Mama bear and papa bear are going to fight over their kitten now."
"Do I have to understand that?", Vega asks irritated.

"How often do I still have to tell you that you have no right to decide what's good for Amelie?", I scream at Beck.

"I have just the same rights to do so as you", he growls at me.

"No you don't!", I jump at him, angry.
He pushes me away from him, harshly sending me falling backwards on the asphalt.

"Fuck Jade I am so sorry!", Beck frowns.
My vision gets cloudly as I feel the back of my head get wet. I try to get up but it doesn't really work and than everything turns black.
