This Chapter has some violence in it so if that's not your thing you may wanna sit this one out but then again it's a Sons fic, so violence and Kurts boys go hand in hand.

Gunpowder & Lead

Dropping her duffle bag onto the motel room floor Lenny sat on the desk in the corner whilst Tig brought the rest of their stuff up as Jax and Bobby paid for the rooms down at reception.

"Travelling light, Princess?" Tig crossed his arms as he placed the last bag on the bed. Lenny was usually so fully of life but the girl was so lifeless lately. He appreciated how fucked up the situation was for her but this was business as usual for SAMCRO. As the Sergeant of Arms of the Club he had a vague idea of how this trip would go, if it was a success then Gina would back at home before tomorrow was out if it wasn't a success then SAMCRO would be calling on SAMTAZ to help them wager a war.

"Think we got the necessary, don't you?" She reasoned regarding the bag of ammo resting so casually on the bed.

"Look, Lenny, I'm gonna be real honest with you cause I think you can take it," Tig scratched at his beard as he decided to commit to the idea of not holding back even though Jax and Bobby would have his head ," this run, it ain't gonna go smooth. We're basically going into battle blind and I don't mind cause it's for my boys family," Lenny was glaring at Tig by this point, he needed to make his point quickly before her thin patience snapped, " But I need you to pull your shit together. Jax has upset a few brothers by bringing you along but I get it. I do. I just need to know you're here, like mentally not emotionally, you know,"

Lenny could see Tig was uncomfortable with his admission but she had to appreciate his refreshing honesty, "Tig, I know it's not club protocol to bring an old lady on this kind of run but I'm not just Jax's woman. I'm the woman who has the most to lose if this run goes south. So you can be assured if I need to pull a bullet for you then I'll be emptying my clip into whoever's head, you know,"

Tig slowly nodded, that was the most spunk he had been slung from Lenny in a while and he was happy to take it. Their girl was still in there, she just needed pulling to the surface.

Bobby and Jax came into the room and the group sat around on the bed discussing how the run would pan out, if all went well. By the time they had hashed out the details they had been feed by their brothers across state it was so fair assumption that David had Jen and Gina in an abandoned warehouse that the Lobos Sonora used to store their goods to avoid ATF detection, it was located by the docks which Lenny was familiar with from her teenage years. The room had slowly filled with smoke from their cigarettes so Lenny excused her self for some fresh air whilst the guys sorted transport and back up, should they need it.

Out of habit Lenny lit up another cigarette, the cherry was one of the only sources of light out on the boards of the raised walkway leading to the cheap motel rooms. As she inhaled the sweet nicotine she thought about how much had changed these last months, any normal sane woman would have ran away from SAMCRO and the plan they had hatched in that motel room but Lenny could feel her adrenaline spiking. She lived for the thrill of it. The need to save her mother was her focus right now, anyone who got taken down in the process was just collateral damage.

"You ready for this babe?" Jax quietly pulled the door shut behind him as he approached Lenny to stand by her looking down at the practically empty parking lot.

Lenny nodded as she handed him the cigarette to toke on, " Yeah, I am Jax. Once we get my Mom back we can get back to Charming and start living again."

Jax took in the woman before him, how he thought he could forget about her after meeting her that summer was beyond him. Lenny-Ray Sawyer was like his oxygen and he'd been breathing smog in her absence, even though he hadn't known it he had loved her. Loved how she didn't need the Club to define her, loved how she had embraced his life without judgement and adored her for standing toe to toe with him against everything." Lenny, I love you so much," He pulled her into a protective embrace and planted a kiss to her forehead as they just stood out in the cold . He could feel Lenny holding onto him as she whispered that she loved him too.

They only parted when Bobby came out to inform them the call had been received from the SAMTAZ boys, the four of them needed to make a move. It was now or never.

They all travelled separately, the guys on their bikes and Lenny drove the van towards the docks. The dock was empty , Hayes had obviously been dropped off or had travelled on foot.

The plan was get in and out with Gina and spill as little blood as they could seeing as they hadn't come equipped to deal with a backlash. Jax was to lead the formation with Lenny and Bobby ending with Tig following the behind. Each of them had guns with extra rounds and the Sons had their uniform knives attached to their waists, as always. Their foot steps echoed softly amidst the silence of the dock, they closed in on the warehouse and Lenny pointed up at an operational turbine signalling they were in the right place. They crept closer and were almost there when Tig knocked a resting cargo box over that lay haphazardly at his feet, the noise echoed out across the entire warehouse, Hayes and who ever was here knew they had company now.

"Who the fucks out there?" The females voice cut into the night, right when Lenny was about to shout out Jax smothered her mouth with his hand to silence her. They needed to know how many people were on look out before they attacked.

"That was Eden, right?"Bobby shuffled over to the couple who were crouching behind framework.

"Yeah I'd recognize her holler in the night anywhere," Tig shook his head almost upset she had strayed to enemy territory.

"That bitch is dead as of tonight, I don't care who does it but I want her blood on this floor," Lenny demanded just a a gun shoot rang out.

"OVER HERE!" Eden's shrill voice cut into the silence of their hiding.

Without a seconds hesitation each of the four had broke apart making it more difficult for Eden to know who to shoot at, "David, we got company,"

Lenny watched Tig and Bobby run for the door that Eden was stood in charge of, with Eden more preoccupied with shooting out at Lenny they managed to slip through. Eden walked along the raised bridge above where Lenny was dodging bullets, a smug smile on her face. Eden had wanted to put a bullet in that stupid brunettes head the very night she arrived in Charming but she had her instructions from David and he was not a man you messed with. She couldn't see Lenny anymore, nor could she hear her boots slamming into the dock floor so she took the opportunity to reload her gun.

Lenny silently climbed up the make shift mountain of boxes and hauled herself up onto the bridge, glancing around she could see Jax creeping up the stairs after sweeping the ground floor for David. He was gonna walk right into Eden's range and even though Lenny was certain Eden wouldn't shoot Jax she didn't want to take the risk, creeping out from behind the barrels she held a finger to her lips signalling for him to remain silent.

"Jackson, long time no see. Missing me in Charming?' Eden spurred as she raised her gun to Jax.

"Like a hole in the head, Eden," Jax was furious he had ran into the blonde so blindly, he needed to focus. " When you turn traitor? Or where you always just spying for the Lobos?"

Eden sighed," Jackson , I came to Charming to find my Prince. You know that, don't you," Lenny pushed the bile that rose from that comment back down, this bimbo was just trying to rattle cages and she needed to keep her cool. " I though maybe I'd found him in between your sheets, all those long sleepless nights,"

Lenny just glared as she tightened the grip on her gun, waiting for the right moment to intervene.

" But then Lenny-Ray Sawyer returned. Tara told me all about your history with Lenny, how she was worried that singing slut would ruin things between you both," Eden knew which buttons to push to get a rise.

"Tara and I were over long before Lenny came into Charming, you made sure of that Eden!"

" hmmm I did, didn't I. So you can imagine just how I pissed I was when little Lenny showed up like a pathetic damsel in distress, undoing all my hard work of securing my place in SAMCRO. She just ripped it out from under me. So I reached out to my friends in Arizona to find out more about Lenny-Ray Sawyer. Her friend Jennifer was really quite helpful , for the right amount of blow," Eden was revealing just how she had contacted David after Jenny told her about how Lenny killed Nate and they realised they both had a shared interest, getting rid of Lenny-Ray Sawyer. Permanently.

Lenny could take no more and showed her face shooting in Eden's direction, " you got pretty high ambitions for a whore that tends bar , Eden,"

"You little bitch," Eden spun to face Lenny before she ran in her direction.

"Jax go help Tig and Bobby!"Lenny had seen they had found her mother and were moving her to the van but she was sure David wasn't too hot from their heels.

"I'll be fine!" She assured him before he reluctantly left.

Eden took a swipe at Lenny who stepped back before delivering a strong right hook to the blondes face, she felt the bones of her nose give way before she heard the scream. Before Eden could regain composure Lenny lifted her knee to her stomach several times rendering her opponent breathless gasping on the floor as blood poured from her nose.

The rage took over as Lenny grabbed Edens hair keeping her on the floor, " Did you seriously think you were gonna pull all this off and then expect Jax to just fall at your feet and SAMCRO welcome back like nothing happened?"

Eden was sobbing at this point, " I didn't know David was gonna take your Mom. I thought he just wanted you!"

" Then you're even dumber than I thought! I should put a bullet in your head Eden," Lenny dropped her hair and stood above her, her decision was made. " if you step within 50feet of any one I care about I will find you and put that bullet in your head," Lenny stepped over the sobbing Eden to go help with her mother, running down the stairs and towards the van she could see her mother was unharmed and broke into a sprint.

She couldn't see Jax with Tig and Bobby who was checking his sister over for any wounds .

"Where's Jax?" She panted catching her breath.

"He's in there with Hayes, stay here with your mother I'm going back in," Tig pushed past Lenny.

"Like hell you're going alone, Bobby get my Mom outta here," Lenny quickly kissed both their cheeks leaving no time for a debate before running after Tig.
