The sunlight shone right through Mabel's window. Her eyes cracked open and she saw herself in a comfy bed.

"Oh man that was a good night." Mabel stretched and went downstairs to see everyone eating Stan cakes. Memories entered and she shuddered when she ate one and somehow found a skunk tail in there. Stan saw her and gave her a silent gesture that Dipper wasn't down here. Mabel gave a nod and went upstairs. Finding Dipper's door she opened it and saw Dipper lying down on a pile of his clothes. This gave her an idea and she slowly walked towards him.

Dipper didn't show any sign of waking up, so Mabel quickly jabbed her fingers into his side. The boy gave a yelp/laughing hybrid as he fell on the ground. Dipper was on floor clutching his side and trying to breath.

Mabel tried holding in her laughter, but couldn't. Dipper usually stopped her and she always failed to catch him off guard. Meanwhile the younger sibling shot a deadly glare. The blood in Mabel's face drained as she saw Dipper get really mad.

Running with all her might Mabel retreated from her twin's wrath and was soon followed by several items that would hurt. When she got back downstairs everyone was staring at her. And before she could say a word Dipper was already walking down the stairs fully dressed.

"Good morning everyone." Dipper said. Normally Mabel was the twin that no one could understand, but when Dipper wants to he can be even more complicated than him.

"Morning kid. Hey we saved you some Stan Cakes." Robbie said.

"Oh that's okay we don't want any." Mabel said. Dipper nodded in agreement.

Stan looked insulted and pulled up Wendy. "I didn't make it you brats. Wendy, being the nice girl she is, made the Stan Cakes. Which are similar to the one I gave everyone else except there isn't any thing from my body in there."

Tambry, Robbie, Nate, Lee, and Thompson slowly looked down at the food they ate and then began chugging all their orange juice. Stan's face took an annoyed expression as they continuously chugged down glass after glass. The twins simply smiled and thanked Wendy for making the pancakes. After everyone drained over two cartons of orange juice, Stan decided to go over the schedule.

"Well since you're here today's plans are simple. Today we're going to introduce you to the dueling club's systems. Dipper told me he always wanted to learn about and if I know you two then I know that Mabel's going to join. But, first we gotta take care of the Shack you must decide. However since I got nothing left for you guys: Which one wants to put signs in town and which one post signs in the really dark, spooky forest?" Stan said.

Dipper and Mabel quickly took one glance at each other before entering a game of rock, paper, scissors, lizard, Spock with a best two out of three.

Dipper: Spock

Mabel: Lizard

Dipper: Scissors

Mabel: Lizard

The two readied their final attacks and Dipper's scissors lost to Mabel's rock. Stan laughed as he saw Dipper groan. Robbie went over to him and dropped a box of nails, a hammer, and 16 signs. Dipper sighed and walked outside. He looked back and saw Mabel waving bye. Dipper gave a weak smile and continued his walk, but then he heard footsteps and saw Tambry running towards him.

"Hey Dipper do you even know where to put those signs?" Tambry asked as she soon came to a walk. Dipper smacked his head as she was right. All he knew was that he had to post the signs. Not where. Tambry giggled at his expense.

"Alright let me show you something here." Tambry said as she rolled up her sleeve. Dipper looked confused at her tattoo until she pressed it down. Soon a bolt of lightning hit the ground and Dipper covered his eyes. When the light faded Dipper opened his eyes to see a mechanical bird twice the size of him. It had black and silver plates with purple eyes that show his reflection.

"Meet my mechanical bird. I call him Meta." Tambry said. Dipper looked in amazement at the creature and reached out to pet it. Meta pulled back and Tambry had him fly.

Dipper kept watching it and Tambry patted his back. "Don't worry once we're done we can see the other monsters the rest of the gang has. Here let's go. Meta: pinpoint all locations in the dark, spooky part of the forest." meta began scanning the area and immediately sent the locations to Tambry. She grabbed Dipper's hand and they began posting those signs. And during their time doing it, Dipper's been asking a lot of questions about it.

"Alright I'll summarize for you. We have monsters sealed within our bodies and we also gain a sweet tattoo the wrist. And since we discovered our natural affinities we can have them applied to our monsters. Like mine is electricity or Wendy's is ice and so forth. Don't worry you'll learn plenty more when we start training for this year's tournament. Alright last tree. Nail the final sign and I'll have Meta give us a ride to the others. Hey I'm going near the stream, give me a yell when you're done." Tambry said.

Dipper nodded and began nailing the sign.

Cling. Dipper looked confused and hit it again. The same sound echoed and knocked several paint chips off. The young boy placed his hand on it and felt the familiar feeling of cool metal against his skin. His fingers quickly scrambled and found a thin slip between the metal plate. Pulling it, Dipper found a small control panel with several switches on it. He pushed and Dipper heard a small hissing sound.

Slowly turning around he saw where the signs would be if it wasn't for a square hole in the ground. Quickly he ran to the hole and found the signs in there. Dipper picked up the signs and cuts his finger on one of the signs. Once he got the final sign out he found a dark maroon journal covered in dust and cobwebs. Dipper's curiosity grew and moved his hands for him. Picking up the book Dipper wiped away the dust and saw the same symbol of his house. It had 6 fingers and had a big 3 in the middle.

'It's probably an old school manual.' Dipper opened and spilled some of his blood on gold and Dipper almost yelped when the blood vaporized. As soon as it did red and blue light began glowing out of the three and many images of the world flashed before his eyes. Then it expanded into a column of color and consumed Dipper.

"AHHH!" He screamed as everything went white.

Dipper continued to scream as he felt his body stretch and compress while he was freezing in the blazing heat. Suddenly he opened his eyes to see a realm where the blue sky was being overshadowed by the night and two people were standing in the middle. Their faces weren't seen, but Dipper saw one of them in a black trench coat, a green necklace, and a suit that was ripped in some places. The other had a blue collared shirt on with black sleeves with scorch marks on it. While their faces weren't shown their eyes pierced through the shadows showing both having their pupils replaced with slits, but one had red eyes while the other had blue.

"St'i emit emoc! S'tel hsinif tahw ew detrats evif ainellim oga." One of them said. Their backs glew certain shapes, but Dipper couldn't see it. Two large roars were heard and Dipper saw an armored snake take on a something covered in trees.

"Emoc yrt ot taeb em! Wohs em!" The other yelled. The two monsters collided and the light blinded Dipper. Before he managed to get his thoughts together he felt something burning in his skin. He looked behind him and saw a mark of a Pine Tree on his back glowing dark blue.

Strange black lines began crossing his body and Dipper tried screaming only he couldn't. Looking across he saw himself in a mirror that was slowly breaking.

The mirror shattered and Dipper watched his body break down like glass. It was obvious it was vision, but Dipper was trying to hold on to what's left of his sanity. There was a strange silence that followed that was followed by a high pitch laughter. Even with his body in pieces his eyes were the only things not broken. Looking up he saw a wheel with various symbols and shadows representing that symbols.

Slowly, but surely Dipper's began reforming and he found himself taller and stronger. Then he felt the strength fade away just as fast. Looking down he saw himself an old man slowly going through the ages. Finally all his strength left him and Dipper fell on the floor again.

"Haha. I'm not surprised. Anyone going through that is definitely going to be exhausted." A girl's voice said. Dipper looked up and found himself in a dark area with a 14 year old girl with short blonde hair, dark blue eyes, in a gold dress.

"Why hello Pine Tree or do you prefer Dipper? I mean no one calls you your real name." The girl said. Dipper was mostly confused.

"Wh-where am I?" Dipper asked.

"Really? And I thought I had to prepare myself for a lot more questions. Then again you left your sense of curiosity and bravery for a stoic expression and a cool facade. But other than that you're relatively the same person I've been expecting for over I don't know maybe 3-5 thousand years? Anyways I'm…" She paused.

Dipper looked at her for a second until she started laughing.

"I'm Bill. Sorry for the pause, but I wanted to build tension." Bill said as she pulled Dipper up. Dipper, confused, tried to say something.

"Don't try say anything yet. I'm still repairing your mind after that little party trick. You see I normally have thieves take the book. So a friend of mine, who wrote said book, decided to hide them and with me as defense mechanism." Bill said.

"I-I saw some-something."

"Course you have. I showed you adult you, old you, and dead you along with shattering your mind like a mirror. It was actually kinda funny to see you scre-" She said until she looked behind him.

Dipper didn't know what she was doing until he felt electricity travel through his body. He fell on the floor and Dipper looked behind her to see the face of the blonde. Before he could say anything she quickly rolled his sleeve and saw a strange pattern on him. It was in the shape of a leaf.

"Oh my me!"

"Don't you mean God?"

"You worship your entity I'll worship mine." Bill said.

She started to poke the mark and got really close to Dipper. He blushed slightly when her chest was against his arms and technically this was the first girl that had this type of contact with him.

"Quit blushing. I'm sure you face this everyday with that pink and purple headed chick."

"Tambry? What does this have to do with her?" Dipper asked. Bill resisted the urge to laugh and continue poking his wrist.

"Oh nothing. Now tell me what did you see before you faced the cute ol' me." Dipper gave a look of doubt, but told her his vision.

Bill nodded and began walking around thinking about it.

Once Dipper was done, Bill rolled down his sleeve after putting several bandage wraps around his back.

"Interesting. Are you sure you never saw their faces?" Bill asked. Dipper nodded.

"Dang it now I'll have to…" She stopped herself and looked at Dipper who was looking at his wrist. She got up and held out her hand. Dipper saw it and pulled himself up.

"Hey kid would you like to strike a deal?"

"Well you seem like a reasonable demon to do that. Afterall you crushed my mind, made witness a vision that my mind can't comprehend, and I got something seared into my flesh all because of you. So sure I would like to strike a deal with you." Dipper said sarcastically.

Bill smirked and grabbed his hands. Then the images from before began flooding his mind again and Dipper fell on the floor again trying to breath.

"Don't give me sass. Now if you don't want another mind trip then I suggest you look at me and listen." Dipper nodded and he stood up.

Bill then began explaining her deal and after a few minutes Dipper nodded. Bill held out her hand and the two shook hands. Yellow and blue light flooded the pair with Bill turning into a glowing gold triangle.

"All right kid I'll see you around!" Bill said. And soon Dipper woke up on the forest floor with Tambry shaking him. He looked around and saw no metal tree door or a square hole in the ground.

"Oh thank god you're awake. What happened to you!" Tambry said.

Dipper snapped and he sat up.

"Are you okay?" Tambry said. Dipper continued to look blank until he found the red journal right next to him with no blood smear on it.

Shaking his head he put on a fake smile and wrapped his arms around Tambry.

"Don't worry I'm fine. I just had this crazy dream that I...N

never mind it was probably something else. What happened?" Dipper asked soothingly. Tambry pushed him away and looked at him like he was crazy.

"You were nailing a sign and the next thing I hear is you screaming like you were being attacked!" Tambry said.

"Look I just saw something weird and I screamed that's all."

"And this dream you were having?"

"What dream?"

Tambry just shook her head and summoned Meta. Dipper looked down and saw the journal.

'Yeah just a dream. Wait, what?!' When he reached for the book his eyes widened when he sees what's on his palm.

A green tree leaf inside a yellow triangle.
