A/N Hey, I think it's been over a year since I updated which is madness! Sorry everyone! But I got a new laptop now and I'm determined to finish this thing. I am considered starting other fics on here, but I wanted to have a clean slate first. So look forward to the end of this story, though if you've been with it from the start you probably won't remember the beginning (even I had to reread it before I wrote this). Hopefully it's worth the wait, leave me a review and let me know!

I'd been so absorbed that I didn't even notice the reactions my song was getting, more focused on containing the tears steadily gathering in my eyes. As I pressed the final piano key, I blinked them away and looked out at the small audience, mentally steadying myself for André's reaction. Though search as I might, he was nowhere to be seen, clearly it was bad enough that he left. As I trudged back to my seat, Cat patted me on the back and I even saw Robbie wiping a tear from his eyes. Jade just smirked.
"Ok, well that was… Depressing. Up next: André!" Sikowitz declared with a flourish. I opened my mouth to say he had left, but the door opened at the same time and André strode in and past me without so much as a glance. I steeled myself for what was to come.
"So I had another song prepared but, I just got… inspired for this. Hope you enjoy it." He sounded completely natural. My apology hadn't worked. Why would it? I rejected his kiss then kissed another guy.
I kept my face steadily pointed at my lap as he began to sing.
"All this time I was wasting
Hoping you would come around
I've been giving out chances every time
And all you do is let me down
And it's taking me this long
Baby but I figured you out
And you're thinking we'll be fine again
But not this time around
You don't have to call anymore
I won't pick up the phone
This is the last straw
Don't wanna hurt anymore
And you can tell me that you're sorry
But I don't believe you baby
Like I did before
You're not sorry, no, no, no, no
Looking so innocent
I might believe you if I didn't know
Could've loved you all my life
If you hadn't left me waiting in the cold
And you got your share of secrets
And I'm tired of being last to know
And now you're asking me to listen
Cause it's worked each time before
But you don't have to call anymore
I won't pick up the phone
This is the last straw
Don't wanna hurt anymore
And you can tell me that you're sorry
But I don't believe you baby
Like I did before
You're not sorry, no, no, oh
You're not sorry, no, no, oh
You had me falling for you honey
And it never would've gone away, no
You used to shine so bright
But I watched all of it fade
So you don't have to call anymore
I won't pick up the phone
This is the last straw
There's nothing left to beg for
And you can tell me that you're sorry
But I don't believe you baby
Like I did before
You're not sorry, no, no, oh
You're not sorry, no, no, oh
No, oh, no, oh, no oh
Whoa, no, no"
It had soul. As much as I tried to block him out, each word rang through me, his conviction was clear even without looking at him. He didn't think I was sorry, but he had to. I was more sorry than I'd ever been and I had to prove that. I could feel the eyes of the class burning into my back, all caught on and enthralled by the drama taking place. I took a deep breath and stood up, hearing a ripple of gasps run through the classroom as my eyes met his.
