The boat ride was smooth and the waves were calm. The boat docked and Tenzin climbed off the boat, three little kids flew by on gliders.
"DAD!" they all cried with cheer as they hugged him. Tenzin, while trapped by his kids, managed to turn to Jason.
"These are my kids, Jason, they will show you to the training area, and get you an airbender's traditional outfit."
"Outfit?"
"Yes! I thought I should put something special on mine, like find something shiny, or something amazing!" yelled the younger girl. The older girl face palmed.
"Does everyone in this family face palm themselves?" asked Percy
"Yes, by the way I'm Jinora, here is my sister Ikki, and my brother Meelo, and Jason, I can show you where you room is and where airbenders train and all that other stuff."
"THERE IS ANOTHER AIRBENDER ON THE ISLAND!" screamed Ikki.
"Ikki, what did I tell you about yelling at guests?"
"Sorry, Dad," Ikki smiled.
"I'm really excited! There is another airbender!"
"I thought there were a lot of airbenders. Why is it a big deal I'm here?" Jason asked, looking at the airbending master.
Tenzin sighed, "There was a great war where almost all airbenders were defeated however one survived. He was the avatar. That airbender was my father. I'll tell you more about it later, but for now, Jinora, take them to their rooms."
"Yes Dad," Jinora replied as she walked to the temple with the others following behind her. She guided them to their rooms helped them settle in. She showed up at Jason's room with an orange and yellow robe for his training, after settling them all in.
"Dad, I mean, Master Tenzin, wants you in the dining hall after lunch."
"Okay Jinora, I'll see you there."
As Jinora walked down the hallway, Jason stood there, wondering what it meant to be an airbender.
*At The Noodle Shop*
"Wow, these noodles are great!" cried Leo, pumping both of his fists in the air.
"I told you they would!" Bolin cheered. Leo stuffed his face with more noodles.
"So, Bolin, I wanted to ask you, where did you come from?"
"Oh, Mako and I were orphaned when our parents were killed by a firebender," Bolin sighed looking down at his noodles.
"Oh, I'm so sorry. I lost my mom when I was younger."
"So, we have some things in common."
"Yeah, we both have the power of jokes and being awesome on our side," Leo said, trying to lighten the mood.
"You know what?" Bolin asked, looking up from his noodles.
"What?"
"I think we are going to be Best Buds."
"Yeah, I think so too," Leo replied as a grin broke out on his face
* Air Temple Island Training Area*
"Isn't it amazing Frank?" Hazel asked, looking at the sunset.
"It sure is Hazel, it sure is."
"Oh and Frank I was wondering, why did you pick earthbending? I mean you could pick any element you wanted but you picked Earth."
"Oh, I picked Earth because it seemed to fit me. Water was letting emotions flow, Fire is still one of my fears, I still need to get used to it, and I couldn't see myself doing that for Air," he said pointing at Jason as he was getting smashed out of an ancient spinning gate area.
"Good point, but what do you think Piper and Percy are doing?"
"Percy is helping her learn how to bend Water."
"Why did she take Water?"
"No idea."
*Air Temple Island Dock*
"AH!" screamed Piper as she was blasted into the bay again. Percy was dying of laughter as she climbed out.
"Come on, if I understand the whole emotions thing, you're not exactly letting them flow."
"Sorry, something is on my mind."
"Talk to me about it, maybe that would help."
"Okay then, do you know Pema?" Piper blasted a wave of water at Percy, only for him to block it.
"Yeah, why?" Percy asked. Piper dodged two of three jet streams of water Percy sent toward her but was blasted by the last one, sweeping her off her feet.
"She is an Air Acolyte and anyone can become one, and I thought about it," she recovered and blocked a whip of water.
"That seems cool!"
"Yeah, but I don't know if I want to do it exactly."
"Do what you think it right," Percy said as he let his guard down and Piper grinned a mischievous smile.
"Thanks Percy." She launched water at him and knocked him into the water. Laughing, she started to walk away. What she didn't expect was Percy to ride on a wave and tackle her into the water.
*Future Industries*
"And done!" gasped Annabeth as she wiped grease off her forehead. Asami walked over.
"How do you know how to fix a biplane?" Asami looked at the biplane.
"It was nothing; I studied an image of it in case I ever built some sort of car or plane or design something."
"Wow, you might not be good enough for a huge job here, if it requires building, but you could help me design road systems and all of that stuff."
"Good," sighed Annabeth picking up a book next to her on the floor.
"Where did you get that book?"
"The Spirit World"
"That's amazing! You were in the Spirit World!"
"Yeah, I was able to pick any element I wanted."
"That is cool, so which one did you pick?"
"None."
"What?"
"You heard me; I didn't take any bending powers."
