I do not own The Vampire Diaries

The only sound in that basement was pages being turned, and if anyone walked in, they wouldn't think twice. All they could see was a handsome man and a beautiful women, both concentrating on the task at hand. That was the surface.

Inside, Caroline's mind was running wild and she couldn't concentrate. Not only was she thinking about Bonnie, and Elijah bringing Rebekah back, but her mind was also on Klaus and the way he was acting. She knew this was the last thing she should be stressing about, after all, they all had an Original psychopath after them, but she couldn't help herself. Why wasn't he mad? Or why didn't he show it? She could talk all she wanted, but in a way she did betray him, and she knew that that was his number one pet peeve. So why wasn't he reacting?

Caroline made a low sound in her throat and stood up and made her way to the stack of books and started tossing several aside. Her mind wasn't in this. She didn't want to find this spell, she wanted Klaus, and she hated herself for that. She picked a random book and turned around only to have Klaus grab her hips and rush her to the nearest wall, pressing her against it. She stared at him, waiting for his next move. Maybe this was where he showed her just how upset he really was. A part of her hoped he would hit her and show her just how upset he was. Make her feel the pain he felt. She her what it was like to have your heart ripped out. Instead, he kissed her.

His lips moved roughly over hers while his hands travelled all over her body, leaving a fire in its wake. His lips felt so good on hers, they felt so right. It was all she wanted, all she could think about as late. So why did she pull away?

He didn't let it discourage him, instead he took the opportunity to kiss down her neck and suck on her pulse point. She leant back, and laid her head against the wall. Whether it was to get away from him or to give him better accesses, even she wasn't sure. All she knew was that she had to stop it.

"What are you doing?" She asked.

"Having my way with you," He purred along her skin as his hands slipped around her shirt and stroked the smooth skin on her stomach.

"Why?" She managed.

"I want you."

She closed her eyes and felt her lips on hers once again, and this time, she kissed him back, groaning at the contact. She missed his lips on hers, and wanted him as well, but not here like this.

"Stop," She said, turning her head. He ignored her wished, and slid his hands along her bra, teasing the little bit a flesh that he could touch. "Klaus," She pleaded. "I don't want this."

He parted her lips with his knee and pressed against her sex, causing her to gasp. "I think you're lying love," He whispered in her ear. His hands abandoned her breast and moved down her stomach once more and slipped his hand through her leggings, sliding his finger above her panties. "I wonder if I touch you here how wet you'll be?"

She tried to keep her breathing normal and not show any emotion, but it wasn't working. His hand moved further down and there was no denying it now.

"You know," He rasped, "for someone who doesn't want this, you sure all wet."

She closed her eyes and gave into the feelings he was causing. This was wrong, she knew it, but she also knew she deserved this. She deserved this, so she fully gave in and allowed him to take everything she had to give him.

Mikael's P.O.V.

He hummed to himself as he walked through the hallway towards his bedroom. All was well. He had rid the world of another vampire and was on his way of ridding the world of all vampires. It was 1,000 years in the making, but it had been worth it.

Sure, his other children would be upset with what he had done, but soon they would be dead and none of it would matter.

He closed the door behind him and loosened his tye and cuffs. Sun would set soon and he had to lock up.

"Father."

"Yes dear?" He asked, turning around.

"Please," Rebekah whimpered.

"Use your words dear," He sighed.

"I need blood," She whispered.

"Of course you so. After all, I did inturupt your last meal. Tell me Rebekah, did you plac on sleeping with him?"

"Please," Rebekah said, closing her eyes.

"Answer me Rebekah."

"Yes," She whimpered, tears rolling down her cheeks.

"I figured. That's not like you, whoring yourself out. What would your mother say?"

"I don't know, she's dead," Rebekah snapped, glaring at him.

"I blame this on Niklaus. His ways have rubbed off on you."

"Stop blaming Nik! He has been the only person in my life that hasn't left me."

"And that's the problem. He is no good Rebekah, he deserved death."

"No," Rebekah sobbed.

"Yes, and he will receive it."

"I thought you loved your children," Rebekah said.

"Niklaus isn't my child, now is he?" Mikael questioned.

Bonnie had tried walking back upstairs, but of course, Kol wouldn't allow that. He insisted on carrying her and truth be told, she didn't want to argue. Not only didn't she have the strength, but she enjoyed having him carry her.

He set her on the bed and she pulled the blankets over herself and settled back. She looked at him in confusion when he just stood there and starred at her.

"What?" She frowned.

"Did I say anything?" He shot back.

Her eyes narrowed and started to give him a headache, but realized she didn't have enough strength. "You're lucky I don't have enough energy," She muttered.

"I know," He said.

Bonnie closed her eyes and shifted in her bed, trying desperately to ignore the ache in her body. Caroline's blood was strong, but it couldn't hold back the pain forever, and she was starting to feel it.

This didn't go unnoticed by Kol, who frowned in confusion. From the grimace on her face, it became clear that she was in pain. "How did you get it to stop last time?" He asked quietly.

"Get what to stop?" Bonnie asked, opening her eyes.

"Just because I'm insanely good looking doesn't mean I'm stupid," Kol said, glaring at Bonnie.

"Could have fooled me," Bonnie muttered, laughing at the look he gave her.

"How did you stop the pain?"

"Caroline gave me her blood."

Kol thought for merely a second before he climbed in bed next to her and bit his wrist. "Here," He said, offering it to her.

"I can't drink that," Bonnie said, backing away.

"Why not? I thought you said it stopped the pain," Kol frowned.

"Caroline's blood, yeah," Bonnie said.

"Vampire blood is vampire blood Bonnie."

"No. Your blood is your blood, Caroline's blood is Caroline's blood."

"What's so special about Caroline's blood?"

"Well what's so special about your blood?"

"The fact that it has a gorgeous blood to run through it."

"I prefer Caroline's blood."

"So you prefer females?"

"That's not what I mean and you know it."

"No, I actually didn't. So are you drinking my blood or not?"

"No."

"Well why the hell not?"

"It's not Caroline's."

Kol narrowed his eyes, starring down at her, waiting for her to tell him she was joking, or at least show some sign. She didn't, and Kol could have laughed, instead, he probably did the most dangerous thing you could do to a witch, especially a Bennett.

He grabbed her arm and dragged her closer to him and straddled her waist.

"What the hell!" She yelled, but shut up when he re-bit his wrist and shoved it in her mouth. She struggled, but he grabbed her wrist with his free hands and kept her still, not moving until he was sure his blood had gotten in her mouth.

"I'm going to let go. When I do, I suggest you don't attack me." She stopped moving and glared up at him, and he saw it in her eyes that she was going to attack him no matter what. "I'll kiss you if you do," He added.

Her eyes widened and he removed his hands from all parts of her body, holding them up in defense.

"Get off me," She ordered.

"I'm quite comfortable actually-"

She brought her knee up and hit him in a place no man wanted to be hit. He groaned in pain, and instead of moving off her like she wanted him too, he moved more on her. He had one hand on the other side of her head and used that to keep himself up.

Bonnie leaned as far as she could into the mattress and tried to get as far away as she could. His body was practically touching hers, and his face was just about her breasts.

After a few, long awkward seconds for Bonnie, he spoke. "I want to be upset, but you have to look at this from my point of view," He said.

"Oh my God," Bonnie muttered, shoving his head away.

He finally got off her and settle on his back, next to her.

"Are you going to move?" She asked.

"I'm too injured," He said, opening his eyes to look at her, smirking. "You could always kiss and make it better."

"Leave."

"Don't be like that Bonnie."

"Leave."

"Come on Bonnie. Blood sharing is intimate, we practically had sex already!"

Bonnie closed her eyes and sighed lightly. This was going to be a long night.

"Why do you look like shit?"

"Why thank you Kol, good to see you to," Caroline sighed.

"Whatever. Do I want to know what you did last night?" Kol frowned.

"Do I want to know what you did last night? Bonnie looks pretty tired herself, and so do you," Caroline challenged.

"Caroline!" Bonnie exclaimed.

"Well you do," She shrugged.

"I'm tired because I was up all night in pain and Kol helped me. While you were here doing God knows what," Bonnie said.

"The better term is who," Klaus said, smirking.

"Oh great," Bonnie said, throwing her hands up. "I was up all night in pain while you were having sex with someone."

"Are you done?" Caroline asked quietly.

"No, I'm actually not. You show up whenever you want and always expect me to do some kind of spell for you and never take me or my feelings into consideration. I'm getting sick of i!" Bonnie yelled.

"Oh are you?" Caroline asked.

"Yes," Bonnie said.

"Too bad."

"Excuse me?"

"To bad. I have too much on my plate to deal with your feelings, but I can do that do that Bonnie. I'm the one that keeps you and your bloodline alive, so I can do whatever the hell I want, and what I want, is for you, and everyone else to shut the hell up about their feelings and how horrible I am. I want to find this spell, and I want Mikael dead. So grab a book, and get started,, because as far as I'm concerned, all of our lives our on the line right now, and I'm dying for slackers," Caroline snapped. Sure, she was being a bit harsh, but it had to be said. They had to know where she stood.

Everyone was now quick, and grabbed a book and started looking. Alex stood next to her at the table and placed his hand on top of hers. She closed her eyes before glancing up at him.

"You may be able to push them all away, but I'm always going to be here," he said, before grabbing a book and moving away.

Caroline took a seat on the floor, and once again, struggling to pay attention. Her mind kept going back to what happened last night. She let Klaus use her, and no matter how much she deserved it, she still felt wrong. She felt dirty. The way he touched her, the way he took her, she knew it was just sex to him. To her, it was so much more.

On top of that, and everyone upsetting her, it made her react the only way she knew. She pushed them away. Everyone else bought it, except Alex. He always saw straight through her and for once, she was glad. She needed someone who truly got her, not the Mikaelsons who knew her as the vampire they met in Georgia, and not the leading hero the Salvatore's and Bonnie knew, just herself.

A phone went off and Caroline looked up to find Stefan frowning down at his phone.

"Leaving brother?" Damon asked.

"Yeah, Elena needs me," He said, glancing in Caroline's direction.

"When are you going to bring her around Stefan?" Caroline asked.

"I'll see you later," Stefan said to Damon, glaring at Caroline.

"He really doesn't like you," Damon chuckled.

"He won't like you when he finds out about your dirty little secret," Caroline said.

"What?" Damon frowned.

"Denial doesn't suit you darling," Caroline said.

"Look," Damon began.

"You're going to tear his heart out Damon. He cares about Elena," Caroline said.

"Well so do I," Damon snapped, standing up and leaving.

"Damn Potrova doppelgangers," Caroline muttered. They always had to ruin people's lives.

The witch had told him this was where Rebekah was last. She must have been wrong. The hotel bar was closed due to police, and it seemed like a crime scene. Rebekah wouldn't do that. Normally it was Niklaus or Kol that did things like this, Rebekah was more subtle. He had to know more to be sure.

He walked under the police tape and examined the room in front of him. He could smell the blood, the dead bodies, and he could smell the fear. Sure, the blood was dried, the bodies were gone, and no one was alive to be afraid, but he could sense it. It filled his senses and nearly overwhelmed him. Whatever happened here, there was no doubting that it was bloody and cruel. Whoever did it was evil, heartless, soulless, and he knew it couldn't have been Rebekah. He only knew a select few who could do this, all of them, except one, was back in Mystic Falls. The other one was someone he was trying to avoid. Someone he was trying to keep Rebekah from.

He pulled out his phone call to his family to tell then of his discover, and if he were to encounter this person, to tell them goodbye for good.

"I need to go lie down," Bonnie said, standing up.

"Are you okay?" Caroline frowned.

"I need to go lie down," She repeated.

"Okay, give me a second," Caroline began.

"Kol's taking me," Bonnie interrupted.

"I am?" Kol asked with raised eyebrows.

"Yes, I'm sure Caroline has more important things to do," Bonnie said, causing Caroline to sigh.

"And I don't?" Kol asked.

"Not anymore. Let's go," Bonnie said, heading up the stairs.

"Be careful," Caroline said, giving Kol a pointed look.

"Don't look at me like that," Kol snapped.

"Take care of her," Caroline ordered.

"Don't you have something to do? Or at least someone," Kol snickered.

"Yes she does, so leave," Klaus said from his spot.

Kol made a face before flashing upstairs. The second their car took off, Klaus was on her.

He had her under him and was attacking one of her weak spots, sucking on her pulse point. Just like the other night, she didn't fight him and let it happen.

His mouth plundered hers, dominating her without any resistance. She took everything he threw at her. She was slightly surprised he didn't get his fill last night and wasn't done with her, but it didn't change anything.

He ripped her shirt apart and kissed down her chest, leaving stubble marks and hickies behind. She threaded her hands through his hair and encouraged him on as he slid further down, kissing along her waistline.

"I want you," He growled.

"So take me," She whispered.

He bit down on her earlobe, and she couldn't help but notice how careful he was not to break her skin, slightly surprising her. Surprised that he was being gentle. He rutted his hips against hers and she groaned softly and pressed her lips harder against his.

"I love having you like this," He chuckled. She whimpered when his tongue slipped into her bra and licked over her nipple while he pressed harder against her groin. "Making you beg for me," He growled.

Her heart shattered at that, but that didn't stop her hips from moving. As his hand slipped around to her bra clasps, her phone rang. She went to reach for it, but Klaus prevented her.

"Don't," He ordered.

"It could be Elijah about Rebekah," Caroline panted. He let her answer the phone, but continued to rut against her, making it pure torture. "Elijah?"

"We have a problem."
