Unlike her "dream", she and Klaus did leave the bedroom once she calmed down enough. She remembers everything up to when Mikael shoved his hand in her chest. It was a lot to take in, and she was still processing it, but they had to complete the spell and finally end it.

She opened the bedroom door and immediately heard bickering coming from down stairs. She glanced over at Klaus who rolled his eyes.

"Those two have been going at it all night," He said, shaking his head.

"I'm assuming you don't mean sexually, because if they were, they would be a lot happier," Caroline said, enjoying the chuckled from Klaus.. She stood in the doorway and listened to what they were arguing about, only to find it was about her. Apparently Kol was a heartless asshole who didn't tell Bonnie Caroline was up because he was trying to get laid. Which Kol disagreed saying he wasn't trying to get laid, he was helping his moody and dagger friendly brother get laid, and that was what him and Caroline were probably doing anyway.

"For once he something right in his miserable life," Klaus said. Caroline laughed at that and turned and looked at him. He cupped her cheek and she moved into him and their lips met. Caroline squeezed her eyes shut and gripped his biceps, grabbing him hard enough to leave bruises on him. She kept waiting for him to disappear or push her away, but nothing like that happened.

They continued kissing, a sweet, gently kiss that had Caroline mind reeling. Eventually she loosened her grip on his arms and one moved up his shoulder and neck and looped it around, pulling them closer together. So lost in the kiss, neither of them heard what was now happened down stairs, and didn't hear anyone come up the stairs until Kol opened his big mouth to speak.

"See, I told you."

The couple pulled away, and Caroline turned around while Klaus shot them dirty looks.

"Shut up Kol," Bonnie growled, before launching herself at Caroline. Caroline stumbled back into, but held her anyway.

"Hey, why didn't I get that greeting?" Kol asked.

"Did you die?" Bonnie shot at him.

"A thousand years ago, yes," Kol said, but Bonnie ignored him.

"I'm okay Bonnie," Caroline said softly.

"I was so scared I was too late and the spell wouldn't work," She said, pulling away.

"Thank you," Caroline smiled, touching Bonnie's cheek.

"I don't get a thank you?" Kol asked.

"For what?" Bonnie demanded, spinning around to look at him. Her eyes were wide and she looked ready to murder him, and Kol found it too hot.

"God, you're sexy," He said.

Everything was quite for one second before Klaus started laughing and Caroline couldn't help but smile, but Bonnie was far from amused.

"Run," was all she said, and Kol listened, turning on his feet and flying down the stair, Bonnie hot on his feet.

"He's going to get himself killed," Klaus said.

"And he'll enjoy every second of it," Caroline laughed.

"You didn't." Caroline frowned and looked at him, waiting for him to continue. "You could have died."

"But I didn't."

"You did die, and I wasn't there."

"Klaus," She whispered moving closer.

"And I care."

Caroline's heart stopped as she realized what this was about. He cared about her, and he didn't know how to react, didn't know what to do with them. Caroline felt her heart expand and she smiled and reached up, touching his cheek, rubbing her fingers over his scruff.

"It's okay to be afraid," She whispered. He closed his eyes and she rested her forehead against his. They stayed like that until a door opened in the house and Caroline pulled away. "Better see what's happening now."

He nodded and they headed downstairs.

"Hey Care, can you come in here?" Alex called, and she frowned.

"Alex? I thought you were getting out of here," Caroline said, following the found of his voice.

"Change of plans," Alex said, standing up.

"What kind of change?" Bonnie moved and Elena Gilbert was sitting at the table. Caroline immediately made a face and Alex gave her a weak smile.

"What's going on here?" Klaus asked.

"Feels like an intervention to me," Caroline muttered.

"Maybe it's what you need to stop you constantly dying," Klaus said and she shot him a look.

"Very funny," She said.

"I really think you should here this," Bonnie said.

"Alright," She sighed. "Speak."

Elena swallowed nervously and glanced at Alex who nodded at her. What was this? "Mikael told me to give you a message," She said nervously while everyone in the room tensed.

"What's the message?" Caroline asked, crossing her arms over her chest.

"That it's going to be hard to go the spell without a witch," Elena said.

"Is he threatening me?" Bonnie asked.

"He won't touch you," Kol said.

This wasn't Mikael's style, he didn't waste time on threats, he just did it. Something was off about this. "What did Mikael do to you?" Caroline asked.

"Grabbed me in the grill."

"After that."

"I don't remember," Elena frowned, touching her head.

"Call for one of the Salvatore's," Caroline ordered Alex.

"Which one?" He asked.

"Which ever one she's sleeping with this week."

"Damon," Elena snapped. "Call Damon."

Caroline was still watching her carefully, waiting for her to explode or something.

"What's going on in that head of yours?" Klaus asked.

"This doesn't add up," She said, shaking her head.

"What do you mean?" Elijah asked.

"Mikael is up to something. He wouldn't go out of his way to capture her just to pass along a message," Caroline said.

"Yeah, he took the time to hunt me down, he could have just told me," Alex shrugged, gaining Caroline's attention.

"He hunted you down?" She asked, a dangerous glint coming to her eye.

"He didn't touch me," Alex said, squeezing her shoulder.

"He found you just so he could give you Elena?" Bonnie asked.

"Pretty much," Alex shrugged.

Caroline had been watching the doppelganger the entire time. Her eyes slid closed and she stumbled back. For the first time Caroline noticed how pale she was. A horrible thought passed through Caroline's mind, and a headache immediately started to bubble in her temple. This was the worst thing that could happen, and Caroline hoped this wasn't the case, but she had to try.

She brought her wrist up to her mouth and bit hard enough to draw blood. The scent of blood filled the room and Caroline's mouth, but she was focused on Elena. Her eyes flew open and she searcged for the blood.

"Whoa," Alex muttered.

"He turned her," Elijah muttered.

"What?" Bonnie asked, starring at Elena.

"I'm so hungry," she whispered, stepping towards Caroline.

"Kol, get Bonnie out of here," Caroline said.

"I'm not leaving my best friend," Bonnie said immediately.

"She's in transition Bonnie, she can lose control," Caroline said.

"I'm her friend."

"Doesn't matter, she'll tear your throat open given the chance," Kol said darkly.

"I'm not leaving," Bonnie insisted.

Caroline and Kol looked at each other. Kol grabbed the back of Bonnie's thighs and picked her up and over his shoulder.

"Kol!" She yelled.

"Nice thighs. Do you work out?" He asked on their way out the door.

"Put me down."

Whatever Kol said was lost as the front door opened and Damon came flying in the room.

"Elena," He said, going straight to her and pulling her into him.

"Damon," She sobbed.

Caroline rolled her eyes and made gagging sounds and Alex nudged her, laughing silently.

"God baby, I'm so sorry," He was saying. "What did he do to you?"

She completely broke down.

"Not that I don't find this sad and heartwarming," Caroline said, "but the little doppelganger need to eat."

"Why?" Damn asked, glancing at Caroline and then Elena.

"Oh Damon," Elena said, tears slipping down her face.

"She's in transition," Klaus said. "Which means she either feeds or dies."

"We'll find another way."

"Oh great, the other one has arrived," Alex said.

Stefan stepped farther in the room towards Elena.

"There isn't another way," Caroline said.

"Yeah, it's pretty simple, you either feed or die," Alex added.

"There is always another way," Stefan said.

"No, there isn't," Damon said.

"I don't want to be a vampire Damon," Elena cried.

"You may not have to worry about that," Elijah frowned.

"There is a cure for vampirism," Damon said immediately.

"Mikael turned her," Elijah said, "and gave her the message that we can't do this without a witch, and our witch happens to be her best friend."

"What are you getting at Elijah?" Klaus asked.

"Elena is part of Mikael's blood line," Caroline realized. "Mikael knew that Bonnie won't help us if it means killing her best friend." Caroline swore loudly and Klaus punched the nearest wall.

"We can't go through with the plan without Bonnie," Alex said.

"What would happen if we kill Mikael before Elena turned?" Caroline wondered.

"It's never been done," Elijah said.

"We aren't using Elena as a test run," Damon snapped.

"Damon," Stefan began.

"No!" Damon yelled.

"Then she dies," Klaus said.

"Mikael accomplished his goal," Caroline sighed. "We lost our witch."

"Will you put me down?" Bonnie demanded.

"Are you going to go back down stairs?" Kol asked, pausing halfway up the stairs.

"No."

"I don't believe you," He said, and continued walking up the stairs.

"Listen you idiot vampire, put me down or else-" Bonnie was now on her feet with her back against the wall and Kol pressing against her, keeping her pinned. Her breath was caught in her lungs and she starred at him in shock. "What are you doing?" She managed.

"What do you want me to do?" He questioned.

"To get off me," she said, trying to lean back.

"I don't think you want that Bonnie," He said, his hands anchoring to her hips.

"Yes I do," She said.

"Prove it."

Confusion appeared in Bonnie's eyes and she tried to push off the wall. But only resulted in pressing into Kol's hard, unwavering body.

"Move," She said.

"Only if you want me to," He said.

"I do, what are you deaf?"

He spun her around so her face was against the wall and he pressed his hard crotch against her firm ass. She gasped at the contact and froze, not sure what to do.

"Come on Bonnie," He whispered in her ear. "Make me move, make me get off you." He flexed his hips into her backside and groaned at the feeling. "Make me stop." He continued to rub and grind against her, groaning at the contact. She felt so damn good against him and the fact that she wasn't pushing him away was even better. In fact, he could swear she was pushing back into him.

"Kol," She muttered. Why wouldn't he stop? Why wasn't she telling him to stop?

"Come on Bonnie," He growled in her ear. "I dare you to stop me."

Her eyes slid shut and her head dropped against the wall. He continued to rut against her, and she let him, her body quickly reacting to what was happening.

"Kol, get down here," Klaus yelled, and he stopped moving behind her. He took several long moments before he pulled away from her.

She remained facing the wall, even when she heard him go down stairs. God, what was she doing? What was she about to do if Klaus hadn't interrupted them? She hated what she was feeling right now, she shouldn't feel this way, shouldn't feel…good.

"Bonnie?"

"I'm an idiot," She mumbled.

"No, you just do stupid things.

"I did something really stupid."

Maybe it's not stupid, you just think it's stupid. Why don't you tell me about it and I'll be the judge of that?"

Tell Caroline? No! Then she would have to say it out loud what she did, admit it and make it real. She couldn't do that. She refused.

"No," She moaned loudly, and turned to face Caroline, sliding down the wall and sitting on her butt.

Caroline walked over and crouched in front of her. "It's okay Bonnie," She whispered.

No, it wasn't, it really wasn't. "What's going to happen to Elena?" She asked, quickly changing the topic. The look in Carline's eyes told her that this conversation wasn't over, not yet anyway, but she let it slide. "That's actually what I came up here to talk about," Caroline said, standing up and offering Bonnie her hand. Caroline pulled her up and led her into Bonnie's bedroom, closing the door behind them.

"What is she going to feed?" Bonnie asked. "Who is she going to feed on? I mean, I know Stefan has that whole animal diet, while Damon still feeds on people."

"That's the thing Bonnie," Caroline said, sitting on the bed with her. "She doesn't want to feed."

"What?"

"Elena doesn't want to become a vampire."

"So what? Am I supposed to look for a different option?"

"That would be a waste of time seeing as there isn't one."

"Exactly, so what is she going to do? Just die?"

"Even if she chooses to feel, she will be part of Mikael's bloodline."

Caroline knew the moment Bonnie understood what she was trying to say.

"But that doesn't necessarily mean anything Bonnie, we have a plan," Caroline said quickly. "Just here me out."

Damn Kol, took control of this chapter. So, as you can tell, this isn't the last chapter, I lied. This is really short because I want the last one to be a long one for you guys. Most of it is done, just needs typed up. Also that little bit of Kennett smut is to help with the spinoff for this story :)

Reviews would be lovely!
