Hello my faithful followers it's khffbleach9 returning from an extremely short winter break. Getting used to a new schedule for a new semester(or trimester, whatever) is very difficult. I am all exhausted towards the end of the day.

But enough about my poor management skills. There is the next chapter, it's kind of short though.

Chapter 19: So close yet so Far.

Lucy's POV:

Monica had been acting weird since we arrived in town. She made us avoid all burger places and some restaurants until she settled for a Pepper's that was near by.

"Thank god, we finally found a place. We're starving and you have us pass a lot of nice smelling restaurants so that you can come to this specific one. Do you have a Pepper addiction or something! " Gwenever practically yelled at Monica.

"What? No I hate spicy things, they burn my tongue."

Gwenever sighed exasperated, "You know what never mind. I just want some food."

Deciding to speak up, I say, "Hey guys."

"What is it Lucy-san?", Wendy asked.

"I'm going to go to the bathroom. Can one of you hold my sweater?"

"Of course Lucy-san. I'll take it."

"Thanks Wendy."

Natsu's POV:

As soon as that damn train stops Happy and I run out the station. The first thing I smell is her. Even though it feels like it's been an eternity I am 1000% sure it's her.

"HAPPY!" I yell.

"W-what is it Natsu?" He asked worriedly.

"She's here."

"Lucy!" He asked excitedly.

"Yeah. Come on."

We track her scent around the entire town until we get to a Peppers'. We follow the scent inside and I look around for that familiar pair of brown eyes but what I found was…

"Wendy?"

Upon hearing her name Wendy spun around her seat. When she spotted me she stared at me wide-eyed. "N-Natsu-san. What are you doing here?"

I eye her suspiciously. She smells like Lucy for some reason, she might even know were she is so I have to play this good.

"I could ask you the same thing. What are you doing here? And why do you smell like Lucy?"

Crap I messed up she might not tell me anything now.

Wendy's POV

"I could ask you the same thing. What are you doing here? And why do you smell like Lucy?"

Oh no. He smelled Lucy-san's scent on me. What do I do? There's no way I can tell him that Lucy-san is just a few feet away in the bathroom, can I?

Can she? You decide. I'm having a mini poll for the next chapter.
