Darren was stretching his legs for the first time in 3 days, he has been at bed rest since Finn's date and since falling down that damn tree. But he was enjoying it, for one reason, instant healing for some weird fact. Fall down a 100ft tree, break a rib, crack a femur, dislocate an arm, and lose feeling to your legs and all you had to do was sit down and wait for everything to heal, fuck medicine. "About time you got up." Jake said walking into the room to see Darren moving for once.
"Yup also can you look over there for a while." Darren said pointing towards a wall.
"Uh sure." Jake said as he turned around and looked towards the window to see a butterfly come through the window. "Okay now ahh." Jake yelled as he was kicked towards the wall as his face hit it hard as he got up holding his face with his paw. "What you do that for." Jake yelled furious of what just occurred.
"I told you I'll kick your ass when I felt my legs again." Darren yelled.
"Guys stop it, Darren you just got up can you stop fighting with Jake." Finn asked hearing the commotion that was happening.
"Yeah, or do you wanna be on bed rest again." Jake asked as he morphed his hand huge.
"Bring it mutt." Darren challenged as Jake threw himself on top of Darren as the two rolled in the ground.
"Hey, stop it." Finn yelled as he tried to separate the two as hey continued to roll on the ground, till Bubblegum's voice was heard as a pink crystal lit up to show Bubblegum's face as the fighting stopped to see Darren close to punching Jake's face, Jake ready to bite on Darren's leg, as Finn just stopped and looked towards the image. "PB what you need." Finn asked leaving the two.
"I need you all to come, now." Bubblegum said urgently.
"Wait have you found a way to-"
"Later." Bubblegum answered as the holo-imager turned off leaving Darren to look at the small crystal.
"Hey? HEY!? How do I turn this damn thing on?" Darren yelled shaking the crystal violently in the air.
"Come on." Jake said as he dragged Darren along. The three were now heading towards the Candy Kingdom as Darren continued to try to turn the damn crystal on, which he was down to biting the damn thing to see what would happen. They reached the gates and procedure was for Darren to be handcuffed on his wrists, ankles, and to be wrapped up in Jake's hands.
"One mistake, and she can't let it go." Darren said as he was carried towards the Castle made it up the stairs and after some walking made it to Bubblegum's Lab.
"Oh hey you made it." Bubblegum spoke with joy.
"Yeah and we're hear why?" Darren asked.
"Cause of these." She exclaimed as she took out some small 3 orbs.
"You brought us over here for marbles, hooray." Darren spoke with a hint of arrogance, thinking she finally got something to send him home.
"These aren't marbles you ding-dong their special made orbs. These small orbs when crushed will break down your structure and make them to a subatomic particles, while that is happening the orbs inner fluid will scan your neurons and brain waves while it's breaking you down and analyze the point in location you're thinking of, then send your subatomic particles towards your place of location then reconstruct your particles in the similar order it was deconstructed." Bubblegum explained leaving everyone clueless.
"Say again?" Jake asked as Bubblegum gave a groan.
"In other words you think of a place, crush the orb and it will send you there." Bubblegum explained more easily.
"And how is this suppose to help me." Darren asked.
"This is the first phase, if this works I will be able to advance these and make them possible to send you back to your time." Bubblegum told him as Darren felt a sense of relief something was at least being done. "Besides I had to do something, because I DON'T UNDERSTAND THESE NOTES." Bubblegum yelled as she took out some notes and threw them as she breathed angerly.
"Okay so uh the orbs PB." Finn asked.
"Oh right, I need you to test them, so take three orbs, as well as this new holo image crystal, and go to your house. Once there think real hard to come back here to see of they work so I could get to work on the next phase to making them better. But first make sure that crystal is on so it could record the process, all right. " Bubblegum tolled as the group shook their heads. The group was now leaving Darren finally out of the restrains Finn ready to use the small orbs Bubblegum handed them, if they worked he would be able to be at Flame Princess's kingdom faster, he was jumping with anticipation.
"Hey guys." A voice was heard as everyone turned towards the side to see Marceline wearing skinny jeans a red shirt and her sun hat on. Her right hand was bandaged and covered with a back glove. "Where you going." Marceline asked casually.
"Home." Everyone answered.
"Oh well then, Darren." Marceline called to as he looked towards her. "There's a dungeon I need you to see."
"DUNGEON. Marceline show me." Finn yelled ecstatic forgetting all about the experiment for Bubblegum.
"Well uh, you see-"
"If we're going somewhere, I ain't going anywhere with out Finn, especially a dungeon." Darren spoke up.
"Why?" Jake asked.
"Here's the only one I trust around here." Darren said.
"And me?" Jake asked.
"I don't trust you." Darren said as he was then thrown off Jake.
"Then you can walk." Jake told him as the two began to argue again.
"Great, I was only suppose to bring him." Marceline thought.
FLASHBACK
"Marceline." Marceline heard as she turned around to see Ash there.
"Ash, get back." Marceline warned as she had a knife in her hand.
"Relax it's me." Ash told her.
"Oh Insanity, what do you want." Marceline asked annoyed.
"Just for you to do one simple thing, take Darren here." Ash said as he gave a paper with a map written on it. "Do it and if everything is done right, the end." Ash told her.
"W-what do you mean by-"
"It means you get Simon back, and I'm out of your life for ever." Ash told her as Marceline couldn't believe what she was hearing her first task and that's it, she would get Simon that easily.
END FLASHBACK
Everyone was following Marceline they were thick within the woods as Marceline followed the map Insanity has given her. She stopped within a pile of rocks as she turned the paper around to see the instructions. Place the hand that has been marked and place it on the X, don't let Darren see. Marceline did as the paper said as an entrance opened up the group walked inside to see a spiral staircase going all the way down till the darkness covered them making them unable to see the bottom. "Yeah let's get going." Finn yelled as he ran down the stairs.

"I should have just jumped down and used Jake as a parachute." Darren complained as they finally made it to the bottom, it was a very large cavern the exit seemed to be the stairs they came through and a path to their left that seemed to continue forever. "So this is the dungeon...there's nothing nice I got to say so I'll keep my mouth shut."
"Why you little." Marceline growled.
"Hey there's a note." Jake spoke getting everyone's attention as Jake stretched towards it. "It says, 'Darren, Later' Huh?" Jake spoke as he looked at the note as some green slime got on the paper, Jake looked up to see a skeleton scaling the wall with green slime coming from its mouth and a giant pile of goo stuck inside its rib cage, a spoon attached to it's nose and that symbol on Ash's neck glowed on top of it's head.
"Yes, something to fight." Finn spoke pumped to see something.
"That symbol, finally something to cut." Darren spoke with a craved smile on his face as he yanked a sword that was lodged into a skull on the floor. As the goo skull(look it up) landed in front of them both Finn and Darren ready to kill it to just have Jake smash it against the wall with his fist.
"Ah Jake." Finn whined.
"Great, I actually wanted to do something." Darren spoke as the creature began to get up again as it let out a loud screech as its jaw broke off as it fell to the floor dead. Rumbling was heard around them as the walls began to glow a blue shade of color as more creatures appeared from the cracks of the walls. Snake armed ruby brain beast, goo skulls, flesh walls, chuds, and why wolves come from the cracks from the wall as they seemed to continue to come all with the same symbol on their fore heads.
"How many more are there." Darren grunted in annoyance as there seemed to be no end.
"That just means more of a challenge." Finn yelled as he ran towards a why wolf ducked as the wolf swung its claw at him as he shoved his sword through the wolfs throat as it gurgled out blood, as he cut down 2 armored ruby brain beast, Finn leaped back as monsters advanced at him. "Okay more then a challenge." Finn added as there seemed to be more by the second, as the ground shook as they turned to see the stair case collapse and see their only exit blocked by pile of rocks and debris.
"Finn, Jake, Marceline, any damn ideas." Darren asked as more monsters came.
"Quick into the tunnel if we get surrounded we may loose, its better to fight where they have to come at us at one at a time." Marceline instructed as she cut a wall of flesh in half as they followed continuing down the tunnel sometimes having to deal with the monsters following close behind. The group continued to run seeming like hours, they rested for a bit waiting for the monsters to come, Finn sword was covered in different shades of blood, Jake's hands were bruised and had trickles of blood coming off them, Marceline's hands and some portions of her body were in blood, she didn't think she would need her base, so she was down to using her hands and nails to rip her opponents apart.
"Marceline." Darren breathed out his sword covered in muck and blood. "Why did you bring us here." He roared.
"Darren stop, this isn't her fault." Finn negotiated as Darren grunted in response. There was silence till Finn let out a yell as monsters seemed to have gotten through the walls around them. As Finn was being pulled inwards towards them as a chud was about to bite his face to be covered in blood instead to see Darren impaling its sword into its face, Finn couldn't help but see Darren with a crazed smile as he did it.
"Back to running." Darren said as more monsters tried to break through the walls as the group continued to run till they were out of the tunnel and back into a cavern.
"Look." Finn pointed up to see a small hole on the roof as sun light shined through meaning an exit. "See there's a way out." Marceline told to Darren with a winning grin as Darren let out a grunt. "All right hang on." As Marceline grabbed them all by their backs and flew towards the exit.
"Now, now Marceline don't spoil the fun just yet." A voice was heard echoing in her head as she felt a sharp stabbing sensation go through her body but originating from her right hand as she lost the strength to fly as she and the rest landed on the ground.
"Marceline." Finn yelled worried for her safety. "Marceline are you all right?" Finn asked.
"Yeah, just some pain." Marceline spoke as she held right hand as it jerked with pain. As growling, roars, and shrieks were heard coming their way. As they looked up to their exit to see creatures entering it as it was now completely blocked.
"Jake quick pick her up." Finn ordered as Jake obeyed as he carefully lifted Marceline up.
"I can-" Marceline stopped as she noticed something odd. "I-I can't float?" Marceline puzzled as the creatures advanced towards them as their numbers were far greater. Finn jumped to Jakes shoulder as Jake already had Marceline in one hand and Darren in the other as eh ran to another tunnel. Finn looked back to see a swarm of them coming as he hoped they were nearing an exit, Marceline looked towards the walls and noticed the way they were closing in.
"Guys were coming to an end." Marceline told.
"Good there much be an exit coming up." Finn said as Marceline shook her head all her time in caves she knew what the formation of the walls meant.
"No, were coming ….to a dead end." Marceline spoke as they saw another cavern except it was as Marceline said there was no exit, no cracks to go through, only a small little metal box in some area. Jake stretched towards it as Jake came close Darren let out a shocked gasp.
"Jake put me down." Darren yelled.
"What?" Jake asked confused.
"I said put me down." Darren yelled as he jumped down and ran towards the box as he looked at the thing closer. Jake catched up as Darren seemed to be reading something. "No, no, no, no, don't let be mine." Darren begged as he punched in some numbers on the side of the box. A door slid open as Darren forced it open as he ran inside letting the light in. "God fucking damn it." Darren screeched as he grabbed a fist full of hair and got to his knees. The group got closer to see a bunch of skeletons piled to the side. Jake picked up the paper to read it as did the rest.

They read as they realized the skeletons were Darren's family. As Darren yelled out in frustration, anger, and anguish. Knowing this was his families final resting place. The group stood there not knowing what to do as they soon heard the all too familiar roars coming, the entered the metal room and closed the door. The only thing that was heard was Darren's heavy breathing. Marceline walked over and tapped his shoulder, his body stiffened as he looked over to her. In a flash Darren swung his sword towards her head as Marceline stumbled back, Darren was about to bring the blade down as Finn and Jake holded him back.
"Let me go, I'm gonna kill her, I'M GOING TO FREAKING MURDER YOU." He roared as Finn and Jake tried to calm him down. Marceline picked herself up accidentally hitting a button on a panel, as screens turned on as everyone put their attention back to the screens, on the screens the monsters could be seen from outside the room. It was like an ocean of them as they seemed to have no end.
"Darren now isn't the time, first we have to get out of here, all right." Finn told him as he held his shoulders, rage still in Darren's face but the calming of his breathing meant he understood. Finn let him go and went towards the monitors. "Okay, there doesn't seem to be that many, we can take them." Finn said confidently.
"Finn you may wanna take another look at the screens." Marceline said as she pointed towards one specific monitor as she pointed to some rubble within the screen as everyone's eyes widened.
"That's the beginning of the dungeon." Jake spoke as he saw that the whole room was crawling with monsters as more seem to come, as the other screens showed no less of hope to be seen as the screens showed monsters packed side by side, the screens showed from the entrance, the tunnel, everywhere where they have ran since.
"We ran for miles, how many are there." Finn asked.
"Better question how do we get out of here." Darren asked looking to the pile of bones on the side of the room. Finn closed his eyes, Marceline couldn't fly, Jake could handle half of them, but how many more are there, he could help, but he didn't want to think of it, till something crossed his mind. He searched through his backpack as the sounds of banging was heard on the walls. He took out the orbs Bubblegum handed him to test. He ran towards Jake's side. "Jake we'll use these." Finn said as he handed Jake and Marceline an orb. "Okay both of you think really hard think of the Tree house." Finn instructed them as they closed their eyes brows coming together with how hard they were thinking.
"Okay now what." Marceline asked.
"Crush them." Finn said as they applied pressure on the orbs, a green smoke covered their bodies in moments as soon they seem to become transparent as soon they were gone. "Darren here, your turn." Finn said as he got to his side and handed Finn the orb, Darren starred at the orb with dead eyes.
"Where's yours Finn." Darren asked Finn, as Finn hesitated to tell him.
"I don't have one, you're the one that's leaving here. It's my job as a hero to do the right around here. If if you could do something, tell Flame Princess I loved her." Finn asked Darren as a smile spread through his face.
"Finn one question do you remember the first day you got the Tree house." Darren asked placing a hand on Finn's shoulder.
"Yeah, I could still see it when we designed it, I can see it right now in my head." Finn told him as he then heard the cracking of the orb, he looked up at Darren with a smile. Darren raised his hand then showed his other one, to see no smoke. Finn's eyes widened as he saw his shoulder as he saw green smoke spread through his body. "Darren." Finn yelled hand reaching towards him to find himself in front of his house.
"Finn buddy we we're worried. Jake said hugging his brother.
"Finn where's Darren?" Marceline asked as Finn quickly rummaged through his backpack and found that special crystal Bubblegum gave them. As it soon turned on to show an image of Darren kneeling before the skeletons, the new crystal showed the image in full color and more view of the person.
"You always liked this gun old man." Darren spoke as he took a gun off one of the skeletons hands. "Hmm, wow the time I didn't want this thing to work." Darren said as he picked up the crystal that he took from the treehouse with him.
"Darren, I said I would have stayed, why?" Finn asked him as Darren looked over another skeleton.
"You were always the crazy one, carrying this thing where ever you go." Darren spoke as he took a 4ft one sided sword from one of the skeletons hands. "And as for your answer Finn, why? It's because I'm still here." Darren answered.
"What? That makes no sense." Finn yelled furious
"Finn, what did I ask of Bubblegum to make." Darren asked as he checked the revolver's cylinder to see the gun had six bullets in total.
"A time machine what of it." Finn asked.
"Exactly Finn, a Time Machine, meaning that if Bubblegum could make one, she could have used it, go back in time to the time I first arrived here and send me back in a seconds notice. Also if this is where I die, it would not matter for if she could use the time machine to stop us before we got in here. But for the fact I'm still here that means she never succeeded in making one, meaning I never got back home." Darren told him the facts.
"But still why, why did you stay." Finn asked a Darren sat on the ground twirling the gun in his finger.
"Why? Finn those skeletons on the side are my family, I minus well die by their side, also because I think what you were going to do was stupid." Darren spoke with anger that last part.
"What?" Finn roared.
"Finn look to your left, and look to your right what do you see behind you." Darren asked Finn looked behind him to see Jake and Marceline.
"Jake and Marceline so." Finn asked.
"Be more specific, what are they to you." Darren asked as he began to chuckle a little.
"My friend and brother." Finn answered as soon as he finished that sentence Darren let out a giant laugh.
"Exactly Finn, that's why I call you an idiot for what you were about to do." Darren said as he continued to laugh through the sentence, as he then stopped, as the sound of metal scrapping was heard. "Finn you asked what were humans like, and what were we." Darren asked as he sat down as he then continued. "Well this is as good time as any to tell you." Darren said as he lifted the revolver towards the wall in front of him. Finn used the crystal to make it look towards the side to see a chud squirming through the metal door. "We're monsters Finn * Bang*." The sound of the gun went off as the chud's left face got torn to pieces by the impact of the bullet. "5 bullets left." Darren spoke in monotone.
"W-what." Finn asked in surprise of what he heard as the crystal went back to Darren as a crazed smile was on his face.
"Monsters Finn, that's what we are, and that's what we always will be." Darren continued as his voice was louder as a screech was heard from above as he aimed and pulled the trigger to have a why wolf's blood splatter everywhere. "4 bullets left, you see Finn in the beginning there was nothing, then evolution took place, then our kind took picture among this world, and that was the beginning of the bitter end *Bang *, 3 bullets left." Darren spoke as Finn heard every word with anticipation. "We evolved we got better, we created weapons to hunt, but soon our true nature showed as we started to attack each other, killing was in our blood, it was second nature for us to simply kill. Time went by we changed but not the way you expected it to go. We became more efficient but we never forgot how to kill, and so our weapons and methods on how to kill each other improved greatly as well got more horrendous.
We killed our own kind for the dumbest of reasons, color of skin, different thinking, ideologies, power, greed, we killed for those things to the point that we had wars just to prove our points that was the only way we ever settled things with our true nature, fighting, killing, violence, *Bang * 2 bullets. Soon it came to the point that people simply killed to kill. Some took great pleasure out of it, violence, murder, corruption, deception, betrayal, revenge, disease, and so many more was an everyday thing within my time. You really didn't have to look far to see that someone has been killed, they literally showed it within the television.
We were the real monsters of this world Finn, not these things that are trying to kill me. Compared to me these things are nothing more but dogs that don't know any better. We on the other hand had knowledge, understanding of things we knew what we were doing yet we continued with the path of destruction. There were so many of us, by that I mean the number of people with the capability to kill just to kill, a number that not even, *Bang * 1 bullet, Bubblegum could count to even if she tried. And soon came our final of days our cravement for power and blood lust seemed to caught up to us. Nuclear War, it must have happened after my death, a war against everyone, the young, the old, the innocent, the killers, the maniacs, everyone fighting against everyone whether they be friends or even their own family. And in the result from that this new world came to life, as well as you, you our final human to exist, it seems it has come down to you Finn, *Bang * I'm out." Darren said as he got up as the creatures continued to make dents on the metal container as he grabbed the blade he found and the one from his family as he held them in his hands, on the other side with Finn he had tears in his eyes, he couldn't believe what he was hearing these awful things his kind was capable of.
"Why, why are you telling me this." Finn asked through salty eyes as a smile spread through Darren's face once more.
"That's what I've been waiting to hear." Darren said as a why wolf came running towards him Darren ducked as he impaled the blade through its neck and coming out the other end. "Because you're nothing like us." Darren yelled with a crazed laughter as the body fell to the ground as more creatures tried to get in.
"What?" Finn asked bewildered.
"You're nothing like us Finn, look at you, do you really think you belong with us. Finn you're the thing we needed since the beginning of time. Among the bad the names are countless, but among the good there are only so few, Mahatma Gandhi, Abraham Lincoln, Nelson Mandela, and then there is you, the best one of them all." Darren yelled as he charged towards the creatures he sliced the face of a armored crystal beast, as a chud bit within his leg as he stabbed the top of its head letting out a screech as Darren kept on his feet. As more creatures tried to come from the holes on the walls as Darren impaled the creatures skulls as they tried to enter as blood splattered onto the walls. "Also Finn the reason I called you an idiot, was because what you were about to do was stupid, because unlike you I have nothing left to live for, you have a chance to live, ahhh." Darren yelled as he continued to slice through the limbs of the creatures that continued to come through the holes getting scratched and bitten by the process. "Just another reason you are nothing like us, you would have given up your life for one just like me, one who doesn't deserve to live here, without even having any doubts." Darren said as he continued to fight with the creatures, as a chud clawed its way into his back as he began to bite into Darren's left shoulder as he let out an anguish yell as he jammed the blade through the creatures eye as it fell to the ground.
"Bitch." Darren let out as he holded his shoulder, his right leg was bleeding out heavily, his forehead was clawed at as his vision was horrible for the blood in his way, his mid torso and some other parts of his body clawed and bitten into, his breathing was heavy and he staggered to stand straight. "Still Finn, be grateful, it took us a lot of time and had great losses, but we finally got it right, a good human, it took 1000 years of evolution from my time, a nuclear war that almost completely wiped us of the the face of the Earth, and to be raised by dogs with pure hearts, but in the end we got you, a human whose life, heart, and soul equals more then every piece of gold within this retched world ten times over. Hehehe to think this would happen, yet it did. Hehehe, Finn can you do me one last favor." Darren asked as a why wolf advanced as Darren sent the two blades through its chest as the why wolf used its last strength and clawed into Darren's back drawing large amounts of blood.
"Yes, what, what." Finn asked desperately as Darren spit out some blood.
"Live." Darren answered.
"What?" Finn asked confused.
"LIVE. That's my favor, don't die in a hole like this, continue being the hero, save people, continue doing crazy stunts, marry a good woman, have children, if one of those children happen to be human tell them they're lucky to have you as a father, then when you're old and no longer move, then you have my fucking permission to die, die with friends and family by your side." Darren spoke as he laughed a little till it turned to a coughing fit as blood poured off his mouth.
"Darren, you're going to be fine, we're going to get you out of there." Finn tried to reassure him.
"Finn, my right leg is injured, I think the bites around my body were filled with poison for my body feels on fire, and I'm losing vision to my left eye, no wait scratch that I lost vision to my left eye, besides I'm surrounded." Darren affirmed as the crystal moved a full 360 turn of the room to see it full of creatures all drooling to tear Darren apart.
"Jake, if you can hear me, make sure Finn lives a good life. Marceline don't change who you are, hehehe make sure Finn doesn't do anything stupid to get himself killed. If you see Bubblegum tell her thanks for trying. And Finn, don't let the word human go down as history's maniacal creatures, change that, make sure the word human goes down as the hero's of this world it's up to you now." Darren spoke weakly as he chuckled a little till he fell on one knee.
"Darren." Finn yelled.
"Be good, now then come on, RAREST MEAT YOU'LL EVER EAT, I hope you choke on it." Darren screamed as he pointed the sword towards the creatures as he used the other sword as a cane. The three watched to see Darren's bitter end as the holo-imager seemed to be shaking on Darren's end for the image shaked violently as it seemed light became brighter and the sound of metal grinding was heard. "Oh you have got to be kidding me." Darren spoke as the image then showed a 2 headed creature, a Giant Goo Skull with burning chain saws attached to it's body, and a root monster with three sharp mouths on its body at its head was the dimple plant on its head. "Great." Darren grunted in irritation as the Giant Goo Skull roared as it raised its hand in the air as it brought it down as it hit the ground a gust of dust spread blinding the area, after some time the dust settled to show Darren alive and shaking, eyes closed, swords crossed using them like a shield, he opened his eyes too see the Goo Skull's hand hit the ground next to him, hand striking deep into the ground as it pulled the hand free ready to attack one more time as the ground began to shake as the ground began to crack as the floor's cracks expanded as chunks began to fall to the depths below so did everyone else as creatures roared as they tried to claw their way back up to be hit with falling rocks and soon nothing.
The crystal Finn was holding showed static as it seemed to have lost the signal. "No, no, work, work, work." Finn began to punch it and soon an image appeared the place was dark but thanks to the other crystals light it illuminated a little around the area. The sound of rubble moving caught the crystals attention from it came a groaning sound of a deceased.
"Where am I? Is this... Hell, or the Nightosphere? Seems...nicer then what I expected." Darren spoke weakly stopping mid-sentence to grunt in pain or gurgle out blood.
"DARREN." Everyone yelled.
"Huh!? Oh you gotta be...kidding me...I'm still alive." Darren spoke irritated.
"Dude you should be counting yourself lucky you're alive." Marceline commented rather harshly.
"Let's see, half blind, broken ankle, I think I have internal bleeding, and actual bleeding to death here, and so many broken bones I can just tell by the movement of my broken limbs, my skin feels like it's melting off, what about this is lucky." Darren asked as Finn let a small laugh.
"Darren don't worry we're gonna get you out of there soon." Finn affirmed grateful he was alive.
"Yeah yeah, yea-" Darren stopped as his face seemed as he was struck with something, his body leaned forward as it stopped midway down the fall as it seemed the green slime has attached to his back, Darren cut the slime from his back as more slime shot from the dark and attached to his back as he jammed the swords to the ground as he continually was being pulled towards the darkness, as he used the swords to scale towards the crystal. "Well lat-er Finhg." Darren tried to speak. "Itusgs been nice knowing you, goodbye Finn the Hu-...no that title's shit to you. Good bye Finn the Pure Human." Darren let out before Finn could say anything the swords supporting Darren broke in half his eyes widened as he was pulled towards the darkness. Clicking, growls, and snarling was heard as more screeches were heard as more creatures were seen moving past the crystal running towards the darkness as the signal was lost.
"What? No, no WORK." Finn yelled as he pounded the crystal into the ground as the signal came back.
"AAAHHAHAHHAHAHHHH." Darren's yells were heard as more creatures seem to continue going as they soon stopped and a loud roar was heard in the process as the crystal on the other side got crushed by the foot of a creature. On Finn's side of the crystal the words 'Lost Signal' were displayed on the screen.
