Bubblegum was analyzing what her friends were frighting. While Finn, Jake, and Marceline were cleaning the blood of their clothes. "Bubblegum, is Darren alright, you know in there." Finn asked looking at the unconscious Darren.
"If my calculations are correct, I should have placed him within the happiest part of his mind." Bubblegum said.

Darren was in a black void world running for his life. "Fuck, fuck, fuck,fuck, fuck, fuck, WHERE THE FUCK'S THE DOOR." Darren yelled running blindly towards anywhere, a shrill roar was heard, following him was a black creature the size of a house, length of 3 school buses, the creature's body was shaped of a scorpion it had multiple human limbs coming out of its body along with centipede like limbs to help it run. It had an upside down human face, its eyes black and void of life, its mouth much like an leech, it let out shrill like roars trying to catch Darren. Darren breathed heavily looking desperately for the door out of there. Then he saw it, a white oak door floating off the ground. Darren sprinted towards the door, he tried the knob to find it locked. The creature's roar was heard coming closer with every second, Darren began to kick at the door trying to force it open. After one last kick the door opened, Darren ran inside and closed the door quickly.
Darren breathed heavily leaning against the door. "I thought...I got rid of him...years ago." Darren spoke catching his breath. The sudden sounds of clicking were heard making Darren's eye shot wide open. He saw his surroundings, he was in a forest, trees growing beyond 200 ft, mist covered the land making it impossible to see past a few feet away. He realized where he was. "I'll deal with the other guy." Darren said going for the door to have it turn to mist. He looked around desperately and found a 9 millimeter pistol covered in blood. He quickly grabbed it and turned around to come face to face with another creature. It had the head of a vulture, the body of a human, its hands were claws, its feet were from a cheetah, and its tail was a snake it stood 10 feet high staring Darren in the eye. Darren slowly pointed the gun towards its head, pulled the trigger, only to have the gun make a clicking sound. Darren continued to shoot to have the gun empty. The creature gave a satisfied growl, Darren threw the gun to the creature's eye and ran.
Darren continued to run hearing the sound of clicking get closer and louder. Then he saw the door, he ran towards it, he was a mere few feet away till a snare got him, he fell to the ground trying to get the trap of him. He stopped, blood trickled from his mouth for the creature penetrated his chest with the snake tail. The snake hissed then sinked its teeth to its prey. Darren yelled in pain, another creature came and sinked its nails onto his arm and ripped it off fiercely. Darren was ripped apart as more and more of the same creatures came from the forest and begin to eat him alive.

"He should be fine." Bubblegum told. "Guys I got it, I found what you guys were fighting. Oh no."
"What." Jake asked.
"This." Bubblegum told. The boy they fought was shown on the screen. "Guys, I analyzed it and this is what I got." Bubblegum spoke and three words appeared next to the boy. 'Wrath, Envy, & Sloth'.
"And what does that mean?" Finn asked confused by the words.
"These are in a way emotions, that, for some reason, have been combined together. Which in a way makes sense." Bubblegum told.
"Why?" Finn asked again.
"You see Finn, these used to be sins representing something. Envy, meaning wanting something that the person has. Thanks to that it morphed to you. It wanted your skills and abilities. When it did that he was a complete copy of you, your strength, power, and sword skills became his, also your memories and some emotions." Bubblegum explained.
"But he was stronger, he kicked our asses." Marceline said.
"Yes, that's where 'Wrath' comes in. Wrath is anger, and hatred, but it has a unique X-factor, it doubles its strength and takes away any useless emotions, pain, mercy, fear, kindness, etc. That's why it punched Finn in the beginning, it was angry, and thanks to wrath, Finn's abilities were doubled." Bubblegum told.
"So we were fighting a twice as strong Finn. That explains a lot." Jake spoke.
"And finally Sloth. Though this is told to be a cripple to things, it has a good x-factor. Resting, you see sloth may be known as weak, but its supposedly the strongest and it does nothing so it can reserve its strength. You said it was just sitting on the boulder for who knows how long, so it can be assumed it was reserving strength to fight. So in a manner of speaking, you were fighting a 10x stronger, quicker, and smarted Finn." Bubblegum told, causing everyone's mouth's to hang wide open.
"And what the heck is that thing doing there." Jake asked.
"It's a protector." Bubblegum told. "It's there to make sure nothing goes past that boulder."
"So, what? Darren put that there to keep us out." Jake asked
"No, his own mind put it there. Darren might not even know it's there. The mind is a self working organism that does things without people's notice to protect itself, watch." Bubblegum told, then threw a beaker towards Finn. Finn slashed the beaker in half and smashing against the wall. "See."
"See what?" Marceline asked.
"Finn did you think about doing that." Bubblegum told.
"No." Finn answered.
"I studied the brain, and it's more like a living organism that uses your body for protection, it reacts to things so it could remain safe. So the brain placed that there to keep itself safe." Bubblegum explained.
"Okay, any ideas how to beat it." Marceline asked.
"Yes, with SCIENCE." Bubblegum told enthusiasticly.
~~~Back with the child on the boulder~~~~~~~~~~
"See I told you it would work." Bubblegum told taking off her invisibility by pressing a button on her watch.
"Bubblegum what are you doing." Finn whispered hysterically.
"Relax, Finn. Were safe here, its primary job was to keep things out there, now that we're on the other side we're past his jurisdiction." Bubblegum told as everyone began to take off their invisibility. "Was that so hard." Bubblegum told, getting grumbles from the rest. Everyone continued to follow Bubblegum then they saw it, a bunch of floating doors that went for miles and miles and above them was a storm cloud striking at some doors at random with electricity.
"Cool." Finn yelled running towards the doors. A red horizontal line showed up that seemed to have no end. Finn took an uneven step forward. Nothing happened, he exhaled happily followed by Jake who crossed safely. Bubblegum walked past the line with a smile, the sound of alarms and sirens began to go off. Part of the storm cloud began to form to a giant face. Bubblegum noticed a glow within her right arm it seemed like a bunch of dead language. The face let out a yell sending a bolt of electricity towards Bubblegum. Marceline grabbed Bubblegum quickly and flew backwards. The face following close behind sending bolts of electricity after them. Marceline continued to dodge them, ignoring the pain within her glowing mark on her hand. Marceline took the wrong turn having a bolt of electricity hit her in the back of her neck, the impact sending a million volts of electricity through her body paralyzing her sending both her and Bubblegum tumbling to the ground.
Marceline grunted trying to move, Bubblegum tried to get Marceline off her then stood still hearing a growl, she noticed they were back at the border. The face was gone, but the protector was coming towards them. Marceline fully healed stumbled to her feet. Grabbing the axe base she made appear and holding it defensively. The boy prepared to attack till a glowing ball hit him square in the face. The boy looked at the ball on its face, the ball blew up sending fragments of the boy's body flying everywhere. Marceline turned around to see Bubblegum with her Burglerber. Bubblegum got up trying to get the blood and fragments of the boy's body of her. "I thought you said that thing was tough." Bubblegum told getting a piece of meat of her dress.
"Hey, you shot the damn thing, we had to fight with our bare hands." Marceline exploded taking no notice of some of the fragments begin to move.
"Oh please, like that was-" Bubblegum stopped for a piece of flesh getting onto her face, suffocating her. Marceline was about to help till some flesh got to her face as well. Fragments begin to combine and move towards the two slowly changing its color from red to black. All Marceline and Bubblegum could do is let out muffled screams.
"Hey, Finn. Do you think we should go help them." Jake asked about helping the girls.
"Nah, they could handle it." Finn said finally making it to the doors.
Princess Bubblegum and Marceline, after much struggling finally got the gunk off. They breathed heavily from lack of oxygen, not noticing the fragments begin to combine to different piles and turn to something else. "That's it, I'm going to blow that thing up to-"
"Hello mother." Bubblegum heard a too familiar voice she looked up to see a stitched together Lemongrab wearing a collage of white and black clothing. "Aren't you happy to see us once again. Or are you still disappointed for us being a failure to your glorious KINGDOOOMM." Lemongrab growled taking small steps towards Bubblegum. Bubblegum began to walk backwards preparing to shut at him till she backed up against someone or something. She slowly turned around to see it was Darren wearing a doctors uniform.
"Ah, Princess, ready." Darren asked then quickly grabbing her by the throat slamming her to the ground, clamps formed from the ground and begin to lift her from the ground.
"Darren, what are you doing." Bubblegum yelled trying to get free.
"What ever do you mean Princess, don't you remember. If you didn't get me home in a year, I would kill you." Darren told in a demonic voice, Bubblegum shrank back in fear. "But, you are a woman of science, and I always loved science, even the part where, we dissect the patients." Darren told showing a battery powered saw within his hands, Bubblegum began to panic she was about to yell for help to be punched by Darren, the damage already being shown in her swollen cheek, letting small tears form on her eyes. "Don't worry, this won't hurt much. It's going to hurt like hell." Darren told preparing the saw.
"Hey, Jake. Look at this." Finn yelled.
"Yeah." Jake said going towards Finn.
"Look at this." Finn said pointing towards a door, the difference with this one was that it was red instead of white, was made of metal instead of oak, and that it had chains over it while the door seemed to be being banged like something trying to get out. "Do you think I should open it."
"Open it brother."Jake told, Finn reached for the door knob to have pale arms with long fingernails come from the door, grab and claw themselves into his skin. Finn screamed while being pulled into the door, more and more hands came from the door to drag him in. Jake grabbed hold of Finn growing more limbs to try and pry Finn from the hands dragging him in. Jake got his brother free from the hands, the hands beginning to go back into the door and disappear. "Never mind let's skip this door and look for the memories." Jake said, the sudden sound of Bubblegum's screaming got their attention.
"She's in danger." Finn told.
"We'll get there in no time." Jake said preparing to run towards the Princess.
"No time, throw me." Finn said, Jake shook his head, he grew bug and threw Finn towards the Princess. Finn looked below to see a bunch of people surrounding Bubblegum. Finn flipped in the air and aimed himself towards the person with the weapon who was opening up Bubblegum's stomach to show her organs. Finn prepared to punch the person only to be knocked out of the way. Finn got to his feet seeing Lemongrab and Goliad side by side.
"HELP, SOMEONE HELP ME." Bubblegum yelled.
"Someone shut her up." Darren told trying to concentrate. Bubblegum was about to yell again but her mouth was closed she looked around to see it was Goliad using his telepathic powers to keep her quiet. "Thank you."
Finn ran towards the two then stopped he couldn't move, Goliad was keeping him in one spot, he was trapped. "Well, well, little child, you need to be punished, PUNISSHHED." Lemongrab yelled bringing out his sound sword and begin to strike at Finn viciously, bruising and ripping at Finn's torso. Finn tried to concentrate, trying to make his grass sword appear, Finn closed his eyes trying to ignore the pain and Bubblegum's screaming. Above Goliad a sword started to appear, once it did it fell down slicing off Goliad's third eye breaking his telepathic waves from controlling Finn. Finn ran towards Lemongrab and punched him on the stomach. "Hehe, that tickled." Lemongrab said hitting Finn with his sword.
Bubblegum was clawing at the table she was contained in, her fingernails already scraping off. Darren has taken out her kidneys, left lung. "Now, Princess. Let's see that brain of yours." He told, Bubblegum looked as the saw got closer to her head. "Huh?" Darren asked seeing Bubblegum's body slowly fade away.
Peppermint was pressing the buttons Bubblegum instructed him to push if someone's charts began to go haywire. Peppermint heard Bubblegum's gasps for air and couching out small portions of blood. "Get them out now." She rasped.
Darren looked around to see her gone and find Lemongrab and Goliad fighting Finn. Darren whistled a tune, their bodies turning to black goo and attach to his face. Finn screamed a little then the goo got off him. He looked around ready to fight to see Flame Princess. "Flame Princes?" Finn questioned, he felt a hand on his shoulder, it was Darren. He gave him a warm smile then did a full nelson on him.
"Darren what are you-"
"Finn, didn't I tell you, we're monsters within human flesh." Darren said his voice becoming like the Lich parts of his face rotting away. "Light him up girl." Darren told. Finn looked towards FP to see a blast of fire hit him, his skin boiled feeling his very soul begin to burn. It soon stopped suddenly he was strapped down and placed a towel over his head. "You're going to love this boy, it's called water-boarding." Darren told, Finn opened his mouth to have a river came down on his face beginning to drown.
Marceline was trying to get to her feet. Her clothes were torn, and had burn marks on them. She attempted to get off the ground to have her head stomped to the ground. "One thing I asked of your pathetic life and you couldn't do it, I should have never given you the choice of surviving a war." Hudson spoke putting more pressure onto Marceline's head. She got up was about to land a punch.
"Marceline." Simon spoke, Marceline stopped her attack before punching Simon. Once she did Simon morphed to Hudson and punched her repeatedly bringing her to her knees as more people came punching and kicking her while she was down, all the people she has ever wronged, hurt or even humiliated in her life were surrounding her and punching her to the floor. She couldn't even fight for they would turn to Simon making her unable to fight.
Finn was suffocating, he couldn't breathe and was taking in too much water luckily his body began to disappear. Marceline too was having enough, her body going away as well. Jake was barely coming in to see everyone look towards him. Everyone began to collide and morph together. Jake let out a long giant gasp. "M-eeat mannn." Jake trembled seeing a 300 ft version of meat man in front of him. Meat man opened his mouth having his tongue come and drag Jake into his mouth. Jake screamed while he was being chewed then swallowed. Jake landed on what he thought was Meat man's stomach. "That wasn't so bad." Jake told, a light turned on, he was surrounded by everyone that ever tried to eat him, skeleton's from the Underworld, Hudson, Candy Zombies, Sleepy Sam(Frog from BMO's game), etc.
Bubblegum pressed the last button, Jake came back screaming like a girl, running and waiving his arms wildly in the air. The screen showed a giant Meat man slowly turning back to black goo. The goo slowly turning back to the boy and he sat back at the boulder. The boy looked at them this time he raised his hand snapped his fingers and the screen exploded as well as the machinery sparks and electricity began to jump and fly around the room destroying Bubblegum's lab completely.
