Things have not been going really well for Darren, he has been going on blackouts where his mind gets turned off and his subconscious takes over. His subconscious would do that from time to time doing the things that need to be done that he wouldn't do. He did some research and the couple he killed, when he was Yang, he found out the husband was a drunk and the wife was a ruby addict a phrase for a drug addict. The child was placed in a Orphanage and immediately adopted to a good family, the marauders he attacked well his greed finally kicked in, come on a world where gold was literally just fucking lying around, fuck it steal it. And for attacking Marceline well she tried to kill him enough said. And the candy people he got curious a long time ago what they would taste like. It would be annoying at times when he was back home. His subconscious would do the right that he has done wrong or do the things that needed to be done. Sometimes good a lot of the times bad.
And right now it happened again, Darren was waking up in the middle of the forest on a branch he looked at his hand and groaned to see he was Yang again. In his unconscious quote subconscious state he would always be in secret he was thankful for that. He let his head rest on the trunk of the tree. He has learned somethings about the damn mask, Yang was much like Insanity just waiting for an opportunity to take over and use him. Yin on the other hand hated his guts. He would try to turn to Yin it would either not work or it will begin to burn his body and then the mask would come off on its own before hearing the words 'unworthy' whisper into his ear.
This was not his day, he could tell he did something but had no clue what, eh, he would check the television about any activity and see what they could dig up what he did last night. He let out a breath of air right now Finn was getting to him, in a good way though. His attitude was inspiring in a way. Darren let out a small chuckle humming a tune.
"Hey you." A voice yelled out, Darren's eyes flew wide open.
"WHAT?" Darren growled, he tried to stay calm he could feel his body beginning to numb away. He looked closer to see it was Finn. "Ugh, I don't need this." Darren growled getting off the branch beginning to walk away.
"Hey, come back here and fight me." Finn yelled.
"Go away, kid, I don't have time for you." Darren said feeling drowsy.
"Princess, he isn't going for it." Finn whispered into the one piece in his ear.

"Just irritate him, Finn and we'll have what we need." Bubblegum spoke towards him. "I will have the things I need from you, Darren." Bubblegum told to herself she wanted to fully know if Darren was Yang/Yin, all the evidence went towards him, his attitude, his actions, etc. She just needed proof and she will have it using a device she made that will analyze the actions of a person and estimate to a distinct degree of who that was. She made the device to recognize Darren's actions and has it trained on Yang if the device shows a 100% match that would prove that Yang is Darren. Finn didn't need to know of her full plan just that he needed to fight Yang that's it.
All she had to do was wait for Finn and Yang to fight and using the camera Finn placed within a tree will monitor both of them and have her answer. "Enrage him." Bubblegum spoke to the ear piece Finn was wearing. Finn shook his head he grabbed a giant chunk of rock from the ground and threw it as hard as he could hitting the back of Yang's head causing the rock to break to little pieces. Inside Darren was knocked unconscious leaving his body for anyone to use. Finn stood there waiting for something to happen. Yang turned around his eyes were different, Yang raised his hand and taunted Finn to come at him. Finn got his dragon sword holding it on his right hand letting the sword take his heat and began to heat it up causing smoke to rise from it and scorch the floor. On his right hand he made his grass sword appeared he swung it causing a couple of the trees to be slashed to logs. Yang just stood there waiting.
Finn ran towards Yang jumping into the air preparing both of his swords. Using his dragon sword to spin a wall of fire around him so Yang wouldn't notice where his swords were going to strike. Finn aimed himself going towards Yang having his swords pointed at his direction.
Bubblegum was in the edge of her seat waiting for the strike to end Yang. Then the sound of blood gushing out was heard. Finn's face showed no emotion. So was Yang, both just starred at each other both inches away from each others face. Finn was the one to give in first letting some blood come from his mouth. Because he was the one that was hit. Yang's tail has penetrated Finn's right shoulder and to come out the other end. Finn trembled containing his screams of both pain and anger considering his swords were only mere centimeters away from Yang's eyes. Yang's tail began to move and wrap around the wound, Finn was lifted up from the ground. Yang stayed still for a few moments out of nowhere grabbed Finn's face and smashed him against a tree to have the tree break in two having bark and small amounts of dust to be spread. Yang threw Finn in the air. Finn grabbed hold of his dragon sword, he couldn't use his other hand cause he lost all feeling to it.
Finn looked down to send a fireball at Yang. To see nothing. Finn felt pressure on the top of his head. He turned around to see Yang's claw like feet on him. Yang grabbed hold of Finn's head shredding at his hat and making blood to come from his scalp throwing him to the ground. A giant gust of wind came from the impact some trees were knocked down and a giant crater was created from the attack. Finn groaned a little limping out of the crater he created. "How about this." Finn heard, he turned to see Yang resting on top of a broken branch laying down on it looking to the sky. "I make a deal with you, kid. I let you live and you work for me instead, how does that sound." Yang asked Finn.
Finn breathed deeply spitting out a broken tooth along with some blood. "Doesn't sound like a bad offer, but like a friend of mine would say, "Go fuck yourself"." Finn told getting hold of his Dragon sword preparing to fight to his last breath. Yang let out a sigh.
"Too bad." Yang told while Finn prepared himself unaware of the object slowly slithering towards him. "Well, you choose the life of a hero, let's see you do that with out this." Yang told, Finn was about to sprint towards him till he was held back. He looked to see Yang's tail had wrapped around the wound in his shoulder. "Expand and abolish." Yang told and his tail expanded in size till Finn's arm blew off. Finn gritted his teeth clutching where his arm once was he breathed deeply inhaling the smell of the grass feeling his body go cold his sword could barely get a spark going from his own heat. Finn was picked off the ground.
Finn exhaled sharply coughing out some blood that was gurgling in his throat. "I'm going to-" Finn was stopped by a smack to his face.
"Stop hitting yourself, stop hitting yourself, stop hitting yourself." Yang repeated again and again repeatedly hitting Finn in the face with his own severed arm.
Bubblegum watched helplessly her hands on her face seeing Finn brutally assaulted. She didn't notice her machine go off the charts.
Yang let Finn fall to the ground having his face beaten to a pulp. "Look at you, you could have had everything, you could have literally had this world kissing the floor you stepped on, every Princess literally kissing your cock. But no you instead became this, a lapdog to a thing that your kind would once chew and spit to the dirt or shove under tables. Look what heroism got you, what is your response to what I am saying to you, boy." Yang asked of Finn. Finn grinded his teeth looking up a Yang.
"I got friends and people that will have my back when I need them." Finn told spitting to Yang's face.
"Really, let me try something. HELP, HELP, FINN THE HUMAN IS GETTING KILLED." Yang screamed into the air. There was silence for a while. "Not a fuck was given." Yang told. "Now look at here and look good." Yang told holding Finn's severed arm up. Yang slowly moved his hand to it and stabbed his finger to the arm. "Spread and conquer." Yang told, Finn saw as his arm twitched and moved slightly and saw small bulges expand on his severed arm. Finn continued to watch till his arm blew up, he continued to watch seeing flesh, meat and small fractions of bones explode, Finn saw closely seeing small snake like fingers come from Yang's finger forming the shape of his used to be arm. "Neat trick huh." Yang asked with a smile. Finn used his one good arm to try and get up to have small growing black dots blur his vision. Gradually making him fall to his knees.
"Oh that must suck you can endure as much pain as you can boy, but there's one thing you can't train, your inner organs, which will always be weak and right now your heart isn't getting enough blood or your brain considering it's all over the ground." Yang said standing over Finn. Finn gagged as Yang's tail wrapped around his head lifting him up. "Let's try my new trick on a whole human, let's see blood fly." Yang told lifting his finger to Finn's face. All Finn could see was darkness slowly overtake him then he blacked out from blood-loss. Yang's finger was going to crush right through Finn's forehead to feel his head being crushed. Yang screamed in pain getting on his knees grasping and clawing at his own head drawing blood. After a few moments Yang was in the ground slowly groaning awake.
Bubblegum called for all her guards to come quickly, she was ordering for a full scale attack. She was outside her castle preparing to tell the orders to go after Yang/Yin. Bubblegum got out of her castle readying up all her troops for an attack. "Madam, look." Peppermint Butler said pointing towards the sky, she narrowed her eyes to see a fast moving white object coming their way, she recognized it to be Yin.
"Gumball Guardians, shoot him out of the sky." Bubblegum ordered, both Gumball Guardians stood up from their resting place looking at their target. Their eyes turned red their hands glowed and weird letters floated around their heads. They raised their hands about to shoot till they locked on target they sat back to their usual spots. "Hey, I gave you an order." Bubblegum yelled.
"No evil detected." They spoke in unison blowing bubbles into the air. Bubblegum growled pulling her hair in anger and stomping the ground in irritation.
"Mam, he's here." Peppermint told placing himself in front of the Princess. Yin soon landed in front of the Princess. The Banana Guards didn't need to be told twice to surround him pointing their weapons at him.
"You can surrender peacefully or-"
"Save him, suhg save him to dumb idiot." Yin told clutching his sides puking onto the floor dropping Finn into the ground. Yin rolled in the ground screaming in pain. One guard was daring enough to take a step forward. "Yang." Yin told quickly jamming his hand into the guards stomach. "Spread and conquer." Yang told the guard dropped his weapon then fell over his body twitching and churning till he blew to bits. Yang took the opportunity to run for it. Bubblegum was about to give the orders to go after him till she remembered her injured and in fatal condition knight lying on the ground.
"Guards forgot him, save Finn." Bubblegum ordered, they saluted gently carried Finn to the hospital part of the castle.
Bubblegum was walking towards Finn's room, he was placed there considering this was a very serious injury, 93% of blood loss, heavy damage to the brain cavity, an arm missing, vision imparity, organ damage, the list continuous on and on. Bubblegum opened the door to her surprise find Darren already there. She looked around to see Finn completely fine, well to a certain degree. His injuries healed, his face wasn't a bruised and mutilated puddle of flesh, his heart readings were normal but his arm was still missing at least it wasn't spewing blood. Darren got off his chair walked right next to Bubblegum. "We need to talk." He told her then walked past her to the outside. Bubblegum followed believing he was going to confess of being Yang/Yin. They walked to an open and empty hall.
"Well what do you- ugh, Darren please stop." Bubblegum rasped as she was hoisted off the ground and pushed against the wall. Her legs kicked wildly kicking at Darren earning a few grunts from the impact.
"You made him go alone?" Darren spoke in a low distorted voice. Bubblegum looked down at him to see his eyes wide his pupils dilated but nothing left inside. She was going to speak till he diged his fingers to her throat. "Now then, Bubblegum, I have been patient, I'm somewhat a patient guy. I've been here for some time, I haven't heard my mothers voice in a long time, I haven't carried my baby brother in my arms for a hell of a long time. And all you have given me are marbles that teleport people, a giant monster made of candy, that's about it. Now the following are going to happen. When Finn wakes up you're going to say sorry. Cause that guy has been jumping hoops for you his whole life to only get this." Darren told digging his fingers deeper drawing blood. "So this is going to happen, this little conversation never happened, you're going to make him a damn new arm, and you're getting me home. Cause Princess unlike my world the punishment for murder here is a slap in the damn wrists." Darren said continuing to place more pressure.
Bubblegum began to gasp and claw at Darren's hands to be freed. "So you'll live only to get me home, or if you can't and I'm destined to die here, you're going down with me." Darren told letting her fall to the ground clutching her bleeding throat Darren grabbed something from his pocket to splash some liquid into Bubblegum's face. Her wounds healed, she looked to see that Darren had splashed "Cyclops Tears' on her. He limped away out of her sight. She clutched the walls trying to get up still slightly shaken from the experience.
At the treehouse Jake was playing BMO, till the door swinged wide open. Jake turned to see Darren coming in trying to keep himself balanced. "Darren? What-"
"Finn's lost an arm, he's close to death, candy hospital." Darren spoke in short sentences.
"What?" Jake asked confused and scared.
"Just go." Darren told falling onto the couch. Jake didn't hesitate to stretching out of the house carrying BMO whit him to the Candy Kingdom. The small leopard popped it's head from the side going to Darren's side. Darren spoke something inaudible then the leopard ran off somewhere bringing back a phone. Blindly Darren go the phone and thought of some names for the phone to find. The phone rang a couple times then someone answered.
"Hello." Marceline's voice was in the other line.
"Go to the Candy Kingdom, Finn's going to die." Darren told quickly hanging up then calling some more people to go see Finn. After about an hour Darren has called every royal he can think of to go comfort Finn. Mindlessly he picked the phone up again.
"Hello." Bubblegum answered.
"Samantha is that you." Darren asked in a hollow tone.
"Darren." Bubblegum answered questionably her voice slightly shaking from what happened a while back.
"Yeah, it's your brother, how's everything going." Darren asked voice still hollow. Bubblegum didn't know how to respond to this she knew one thing he lost it.
"Everything's fine." She spoke testing something.
"Alright, I'll be home soon." Darren spoke not noticing that he just heard Bubblegum's voice. Bubblegum held the phone as Darren continued to repeat himself over and over again. Realizing that Darren has cracked, she continued to hear him till after sometime the Candy Kingdom was being overrun but not from marauders, criminals or some creatures but by Princess's and royals coming to check if Finn was alright all getting calls that Finn was being hospitalized and those Princess called other Princess and so on and on.
Darren layed on the couch staring at the ceiling till his hand moved to his pocket to get the mask. He looked at the mask for a bit. He got up grabbed as much fire wood as he could, he placed the mask on the fireplace stacked all the firewood on the fireplace he grabbed a container spilling the liquid into the fireplace. Darren stumbled away falling back into the couch. "Fire." He rasped out the small leopard obliqued breathing into the fire place setting it to a blaze. The leopard moved resting on Darren's chest, he petted the animal mindlessly, he stayed there watching the colored fire move. Outside there was another moving fire except alive and moving quickly towards the Candy Kingdom.
"Please don't be true, please let it be a lie, I don't care id it is a lie." Flame Princess told flying quickly to the Candy Kingdom.
